Abstract

Abstract Palembang is famous for not only songket clothes but also specific food such as pempek and mie celor (stemmed noodles). Many Small Micro Medium Enterprises (SMMEs) need coaching in order to succeed in their busines. They do not have sufficient financing sources and strategies to grow and face fierce business competition. One of necessary assistances is helping them improve their packaging and develop persuasive advertisements through social media promotion. The two SMMEs, Pempek Cek Eha and Mie Celor Ujuk Imam 26, are located in Kecamatan Ilir Barat I Palembang. This community service activity was carried out to help fostered the SMMEs to survive in their current situation through product packaging and online advertisement development. Good product packaging can be used for online advertising activities, which are expected to increase sales during the pandemic. Their previous packaging seemed to be careless and unattractive. Their promotions and sales were managed conventionally through direct face to face and limited online transactions, as well as from personal information, so that the orders had not been maximized. The educative program was conducted through counselling and couching the SMMEs. Data from pretest and posttest showed positive effects of the program. Abstract

Traveling Salesman Problem is a problem solving used in finding the shortest route to visit all nodes at once and then return to the initial node. Troubleshooting of the Traveling Salesman Problem using the Brute Force algorithm. The object of this research is the courier at CV. Alfa Fresh. The Brute Force algorithm provides a solution for Traveling Salesman Problems to select and determine the shortest routes to deliver orders from the office to the destination. The Brute Force algorithm is an algorithm that is used to match patterns with all routes to be traversed to find the shortest route pattern. The Brute Force algorithm works by enumerating all possible candidates. With this application can facilitate the courier in determining the closest route from the position of the courier.

Abstract

The increment of Songket popularity as the traditional fabric from South Sumatra increases the production of Songket and the wastewater produced during the dying process. The dying process produces the reddish wastewater, and if it is disposed of directly into the environment, it will have a negative impact on the waters. The wastewater treatment of this reddish liquid is by electrocoagulation method. Electrocoagulation method is contaminants removal by electrical and chemical treatment system. The electrocoagulation method in this research was conducted in a batch where the wastewater was treated using 16.5 x 7.0 x 0.2 cm aluminum electrode. The parameters varied were the current density and processing time to determine the pH value, color intensity, BOD5, COD, TSS, and phenol levels. The optimum condition obtained from this study at a current density of 25 A/m2 with a processing time of 160 minutes. The effectiveness of Songket wastewater electrocoagulation was 67.28% for TSS, 54.13% for BOD5, 63.64% for COD, color intensity 79.21% and phenol content of 74.93% respectively. The result has fulfilled the quality standard of textile industry wastewater treatment.

Abstract

Layanan berbasis teknologi/sistem informasi (TI/SI) menjadi faktor keberhasilan suatu institusi perguruan tinggi dalam menjalankan tata kelola. Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi (UMMI) merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi yang sudah mengimplementasikan layanan berbasis TI/SI yakni Sistem Informasi Akademik (SIAK UMMI). SIAK UMMI terus menerus mengalami perkembangan yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan stakeholder. Namun yang menjadi permasalahan adalah belum dilakukan penilaian mengenai kualitas dari layanan SIAK UMMI, sehingga institusi belum mengetahui bagaimana positioning layanan dari SIAK UMMI. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan penilaian layanan SIAK UMMI melalui framework ITIL v3 dengan fokus pada aspek service design. Penelitian ini menghasilkan nilai rerata Service Design 3,04 atau maturity level berada pada level 3, yang terdiri dari (1) Service Management as a Practice sebesar 2,95; (2) Service Design Principles sebesar 3,15; (3) Service Design Processes sebesar 3,11; (4) Service Design Technology Related Activities sebesar 3,07; (5) Organizing for Service Design sebesar 2,95; (6) Service Design Technology Consideration sebesar 2,96; dan (7) Service Design Process Implementation Consideration sebesar 3,08.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate(1)how the video scriptsofnative advertising for promoting Tajung and Blongsongas Palembang traditional textile is made. (2) to what extend the video script made in the video of Tajung and Blongsong cloths fulfill the criteria of SPEAKING Model, (3) to what extend the video script made for the video of Tajung and Blongsong cloths fulfill the communicative functionsof the movestructure. Dell Hymes’ SPEAKINGModel and Bathia’s Move Analysis wereused for testing product advertising effectivenessThe results showed that the video script should be developed through several testing to validate the data. Furthermore, the analysis of the components of communication, and linguistic function revealed the video fulfilled the criteria for native advertising.

Abstract

Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) is a part of the development of a system in addition to the usability factor. Several methods were developed in HCI to produce a User Interface design that persuasively attracts the user’s interest. One of these methods was Kansei Engineering which involved psychological factors and user emotions in the stage. The study focused on developing the e-commerce User Interface for UMKM products which based on how to maximize the service and quality of e-Commerce because so far the development of the web-based UMKM  e-Commerce product user interface has not paid attention to psychological factors. The Research followed Kansei Engineering Type 1 (KEPack) with the stages: (1) Research Initiation, (2) Collecting Kansei Words (KW), (3) Translating KW into SD scale, (4) Collecting Specimens, (5) Classifying Item / Category Specimens, (6) Evaluating Questionnaire Participants’ Data, (7) Multivariate Statistical Analysis, (8) Translating Statistical Data into Design Elements, (9) Creating Guideline Matrix Kansei Engineering. This study involved 40 participants, 20 Kansei Words, and ten specimens of UMKM e-Commerce products. The final result is the Kansei e-Commerce matrix guideline for web-based UMKM products, which had two main concepts, they were complexity consisting of formal, natural and simple emotion factors; and Uniqueness consisting of Comfortable, Soft, and Unique which consists of 8 main parts which divided into 65 design elements. The contribution of this Research in the informatics area is to provide recommendations for the appearance of  web-based UMKM  e-Commerce products based on the psychological factors of the user through the Kansei Engineering Stages.

Abstract

Layanan menjadi faktor utama dalam mengukur kualitas tata kelola di perguruan tinggi, saat ini layanan selalu terintegrasi dengan sistem informasi. Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya (Polsri) saat ini sudah mengimplementasikan layanan berbasis sistem informasi, namun yang menjadi tantangan dalam pengembangan sistem di Polsri yaitu bagaimana mengakomodir kebutuhan sistem informasi hingga menyasar di level Jurusan dan Program Studi, layanan tersebut bersifat rutin, administratif dan berkaitan langsung dengan mahasiswa. Jurusan Manajemen Informatika (MI) merupakan salah satu jurusan yang memiliki jumlah mahasiswa yang banyak sehingga diperlukan penerapan sistem informasi dalam layanan administrasi mahasiswa. Saat ini sistem layanan yang berjalan di MI masih terpusat pada sistem informasi akademik yang cakupannya meliputi pengeloaan jadwal, penilaian mahasiswa, dan administrasi pengajaran dosen. Namun untuk layanan administrasi mahasiswa belum mengimplementasikan sistem yang terkomputerisasi. Berdasarkan observasi lapangan dan wawancara dengan pengadministrasi jurusan, layanan administrasi yang memerlukan implementasi sistem informasi antara lain: (1) layanan informasi akumulasi kompensasi mahasiswa, (2) layanan pendataan beasiswa, (3) layanan permohonan pelaksanaan Kerja Praktek/ Laporan Akhir/ Tugas Akhir, (4) layanan permohonan Stop Out dan (5) Umpan balik kualitas layanan dari mahasiswa. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini berupa aplikasi layanan administrasi mahasiswa berbasis web yang mengakomodir layanan mahasiswa dari kelima aspek tersebut

Abstract

Salah satu Industri tenun tradisional Palembang (blongsong/tajung) merupakan salah satu industri andalan di Sumatera Selatan. Pertumbuhan industri tenun tradisional di kota Palembang (blongsong/tajung) cukup pesat. Masing-masing industri memiliki 2 - 10 tenaga kerja tetap dan juga tenaga kerja lepas. Di antara usaha kecil dan menengah, usaha kerajinan kain tenun blongsong/tajung Palembang mempunyai karakteristik yang sangat khusus, dan telah menjadi Kebudayaan Indonesia yang tetap bertahan secara konsisten. kain tenun blongsong/tajung berkembang dan menyebar di Sumatera bahkan ke seluruh Indonesia dan mancanegara. Sampai saat ini kain kain tenun blongsong/tajung dengan motif kedaerahan semakin berkembang secara nasional. UKM Ilham Cha-cha collection dalam pelaksanaan salah satu permasalahannya adalah alat menggulung benang (alat kelos) yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut ditawarkan solusi untuk membantu memberikan alat kelos baru yang bisa digunakan untuk menggulung gelondongan benang menggunakan energi listrik, sehingga bisa membantu UKM Ilham Cha-Cha dalam proses produksi. Disamping itu juga diberikan kesempatan untuk mengikuti pelatihan design web sehingga bisa membantu dalam proses promosi UKM Ilham Cha-Cha.

Abstract

Misi dan visi utama Sekolah Islam Terpadu Prima Insani Palembang adalah menyelenggarakan pendidikan formal yang islami. Untuk mewujudkan misi dan visi tersebut maka Sekolah Islam Terpadu Prima Insani Palembang melaksanakan tiga bentuk pendidikan yaitu pendidikan formal di pagi dan siang hari dalam bentuk taman kanak-kanak, sekolah dasar, dan sekolah menengah pertama. Pada masa pandemi Covid-19 ini penyelenggaraan proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Islam Terpadu Prima Insani tidak berjalan dengan baik. Proses pembelajaran banyak dilakukan dalam bentuk daring dengan memanfaatkan teknologi internet. Sayang proses pembelajaran ini belum berjalan dengan baik karena keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan para guru memanfaatkan teknologi internet sebagai media pembelajaran digital yang terstruktur dengan baik sebagai pendukung proses pembelajaran pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat kerjasama dosen-mahasiswa ini akan memberikan pelatihan dan penyuluhan agar dapat membantu para guru untuk memanfaatkan teknologi internet learning sebagai media pembelajaran digital.

Abstract

The technology of smart home systems has developed rapidly and provides convenience for human life. Several smart home technologies, especially monitoring systems, have been developed by integrating several aspects, including security systems, fuzzy methods, and energy saving methods. However, the problem is how to build a smart home system that is accurate, convenient, and low-cost. In this research, the development of a smart home monitoring system that integrates wireless sensor networks (WSNs) and deep reinforcement learning (DRL) is carried out based on three parameters, i.e. temperature, humidity and CO2 level. The experimental method is carried out by (1) validating the accuracy quality of WSNs; (2) determining the best model implemented in the system; and (3) measuring the quality of the DRL system on the smart home monitoring system. Based on the test results, several indicators were obtained: (1) WSN testing resulted in an accuracy of 98.52%; (2) the accuracy of the modeling results implemented in the system is 97.70%; and (3) DRL system test on the smart home monitoring system through 21 test scenarios resulted in an accuracy of 95.52%. The indicators of testing this smart monitoring system prove that the developed system provides the advantages of accuracy, ease of use, and low cost.
