Abstract

The key objective of the current study is to examine the role of social networking in determining the firm performance of manufacturing firms. Addition to this the study has studied the mediating role of   comparative advantage and sustainable supply chain in the relationship between the social networking and firm performance of manufacturing firms. The basic concern of this research is to examine the way in which performance is generated and achieve by firms. Several theoretical approaches have been used for analyzing the relation between existing resources and performance of a firm. The relation between entrepreneurial orientation and firm performance has been explained using RBV theory by incorporating moderator and mediator variables. The results were presented for the model using PLS because of its flexibility, validity, and estimation of complex models. PLS-SEM method is also known as second general approach of SEM. In this study, the response rate of 77.6% is sufficient because 30% response rate was regarded sufficient by Dikko [1] in survey studies. These positive influences of SCM capability are supported by social capital theory. Relational and structural capitals are accumulated through collaboration, information sharing, mutual trust, communication, and commitment among the partners in the supply chain. These create improvement in the performance of suppliers and buyers.

Abstract

In public service institutions, such as the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA) of Tasikmalaya Regency, aspects of work design characteristics and psychological capital support the emergence of positive behaviour so that employees will show a more positive attitude in carrying out their work. Based on the data obtained, it was found that the employees of BAPPEDA Tasikmalaya Regency had a good level of self-efficacy, as evidenced by the exposure of employees who believed in their abilities and liked challenging work for the development of their potential. In addition, employees also express self-confidence to achieve success in their current work. This employee's self-capacity can affect the level of work engagement of employees. The findings of work design characteristics problems at BAPPEDA Tasikmalaya Regency are characterized by low employee work design characteristics, especially those based on differences in age and education and psychological capital problems at BAPPEDA Tasikmalaya Regency marked by low employee confidence in dealing with work problems. The research method used is regression analysis to assess the influence between variables. The population in this study were all employees of BAPPEDA Tasikmalaya Regency who had agreed to participate in the study. The research instrument uses a questionnaire of work design characteristics, psychological capital, and work engagement which will be filled out by respondents, namely all employees at BAPPEDA Tasikmalaya Regency. This research will use a multiple linear regression test. The results showed a positive effect of work design characteristics on work engagement and a positive influence of psychological capital on work engagement. Furthermore, it was found that work design characteristics and psychological capital simultaneously and significantly affect employee work engagement at BAPPEDA Tasikmalaya Regency.

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to know how the implementation of maintenance conducted by PT X and how maintenance by PT X used the preventive and breakdown maintenance methods to minimize engine maintenance cost. The research method used in this study is care study whereas this type of research is quantitative descriptive research. Technique of collecting data in this research by obsererving, interviewing and collecting documents related to research. Data analysis used by using preventive and breakdown maintenance methods. The result of this research is PT X performs maintenance of the engine by using preventive maintenance such as routine maintenance, semi-overhaul forecast maintenance and annual maintenance and breakdown maintenance are usually performed when the machine is fully damaged or dead. PT X should implement preventive maintenance because it is more efficient at 13,2% than the company’s maintenance. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan pemeliharaan mesin yang dilakukan PT X dan bagaimana pemeliharaan mesin yang yang dilakukan PT X dengan menggunakan metode preventive dan breakdown maintenance untuk meminimumkan biaya pemeliharaan mesin. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini studi kasus sedangkan jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara dan pengumpulan dokumen-dokumen yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Analisis data yang digunakan dengan menggunakan metode preventive dan breakdown maintenance. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah PT X hendaknya melakukan pemeliharaan mesin dengan menggunakan preventive maintenance seperti perawatan rutin, perawatan semi overhaul dan perawatan tahunan dan breakdown maintenance biasa dilakukan saat mesin mengalami kerusakan atau mati total. PT X hendaknya melaksanakan preventive maintenance karena lebih efisien sebesar 13,2% dibandingkan pemeliharaan yang dilakukan perusahaan.

Abstract

Abstract. In an industry the selection of raw material suppliers is one of the most important things in the running of the company's operational activities. Supplier selection is a multi-criteria problem that includes both quantitative and qualitative factors. This research was conducted at a company engaged in the textile sector, namely Diyang Kinjut Sasirangan. The purpose of this study is to evaluate fabric suppliers with criteria based on VPI (Vendor Performance Indicator), which consists of Quality, Cost, Delivery, Flexibility, Responsiveness (QCDFR). One method that can be used for supplier selection is the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method. Using the AHP method will produce a pairwise comparison matrix based on a priority value scale of 1 to 9 for each criterion. Performing pairwise comparisons produces the Eigen Vector and Eigen Value values so as to get the Consistency Ratio value. Each criterion produces the following weights: Quality (0.316), Cost (0.298), Delivery (0.163), Flexibility (0.122), and Responsiveness (0.101). From the calculation results show the performance of suppliers CV. Liarie Radha Kayana is the highest, both PT. Sinar Pekalongan Galaxi Textile and the three PT. Lodji Textile Industry. Based on the results of the analysis, if the company wants to increase the purchasing power of sasirangan fabrics and obtain high quality raw materials, the company must improve the performance of suppliers based on the VPI criteria, especially the Responsiveness criteria because performance is still low. The results of the supplier performance evaluation can be used by the company as consideration in the selection of suppliers so as to facilitate the company's operational activities. Abstrak. Dalam suatu industri pemilihan pemasok bahan baku merupakan salah satu hal yang sangat penting dalam berjalannya kegiatan operasional perusahaan. Pemilihan pemasok merupakan masalah multi kriteria yang meliputi faktor-faktor kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada suatu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang textile, yaitu Diyang Kinjut Sasirangan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi pemasok kain dengan kriteria-kriteria yang berdasarkan pada VPI (Vendor Performance Indicator) yaitu terdiri dari Quality, Cost, Delivery, Flexibility, Responsiveness (QCDFR). Salah satu metode yang bisa digunakan untuk pemilihan pemasok adalah metode AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process). Dengan menggunakan metode AHP akan menghasilkan matriks perbandingan berpasangan berdasarkan skala nilai prioritas 1 sampai 9 untuk setiap kriteria. Berdasarkan hasil analisis apabila perusahaan ingin meningkatkan daya beli kain sasirangan serta memperoleh kualitas bahan baku yang tinggi perusahaan harus meningkatkan kinerja pemasok yang berdasarkan kriteria VPI, terutama kriteria Responsiveness karena kinerja masih rendah. Hasil evaluasi kinerja pemasok dapat digunakan perusahaan sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam pemilihan pemasok sehingga mempermudah kegiatan operasional perusahaan.

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meminimumkan biaya perawatan mesin ballmil cokelat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus, jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan Pemeliharaan mesin ballmill cokelat menggunakan metode preventive lebih baik dilakukan dengan interval waktu 6 bulan sekali dengan total pengeluaran sebesar Rp. 103.199.519, sedangkan hasil perhitungan biaya pemeliharaan dengan metode breakdown membutuhkan pengeluara sebesar Rp.17.953.563 per period. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa pemeliharan mesin ballmill cokelat dengan menggunakan metode Breakdown maintenance lebih efisien dalam meminimumkan biaya pemeliharaan mesin ballmill cokelat pada PT Wahana Interfood Nusantara Tbk sebesar 8,9%. Abstract. The purpose of this research is to minimize the maintenance cost of the chocolate ballmil machine. The research method used is a case study, this type of research is quantitative descriptive, data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study stated that the maintenance of the chocolate ballmill machine using the preventive method is better done at intervals of 6 months with a total expenditure of Rp. 103,199,519, while the results of the calculation of maintenance costs with the breakdown method require an expenditure of Rp. 17,953,563 per period. This shows that the maintenance of the chocolate ballmill machine using the Breakdown maintenance method is more efficient in minimizing the cost of maintaining the chocolate ballmill machine at PT Wahana Interfood Nusantara Tbk by 8.9%.

Abstract

Abstract. PT Mulia Raya Prima has implemented a quality control properly and correctly in accordance with the available procedures as well as sorting and storing products properly and correctly according to the condition of the product so that it can compete with other companies. But there are still obstacles that must be faced by the company, namely there are still products that have defects so that these horticultural products must be discarded. The purpose of this study was to analyze the quality control at PT Mulia Raya Prima and analyze the quality using the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method. The method used is descriptive quantitative with data collection techniques in the form of literature studies, interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the quality control carried out for the quality measured on the control chart still had horticultural products that were out of control, this was due to the sorting and packaging activities that were still inappropriate or not in accordance with the qualification standards that had been set. So companies need to take preventive and corrective actions in order to minimize defective fruit products. The Pareto diagram shows the most dominant type of defect in fruit products, namely the type of product that is flecked or black, which is 53% of pears, 59% of apples, and 43% of citrus fruits. There are several factors that cause problems in the three fruit products which have been described in a cause-and-effect diagram including human, material, and environmental factors. Abstrak. PT Mulia Raya Prima telah menerapkan suatu pengendalian kualitas dengan baik dan benar sesuai dengan prosedural yang telah tersedia seperti halnya melakukan penyortiran dan penyimpanan produk dengan baik dan benar sesuai dengan keadaan produk tersebut sehingga dapat bersaing dengan perusahaan lainnya. Tetapi masih ada saja kendala yang harus dihadapi oleh perusahaan yaitu masih ada produk yang mengalami kecacatan sehingga produk holtikultura tersebut harus di buang begitu saja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengendalian kualitas di PT Mulia Raya Prima dan menganalisis kualitas menggunakan metode Statistical Quality Control (SQC). Metode yang digunakan menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa studi literatur, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pengendalian yang dilakukan untuk yang diukur pada control chart masih saja ada produk holtikultura yang out of control, itu disebabkan adanya beberapa faktor yang mengakibatkan terjadinya kecacatan pada produk holtikultura tersebut. Sehingga perusahaan perlu mengambil tindakan pencegahan dan perbaikan agar dapat meminimumkan produk holtikultura yang cacat. Pada diagram pareto menunjukkan jenis kecacatan yang paling dominan pada produk holtikultura yaitu jenis produk yang berflek atau hitam yang dimana pada buah pear sebanyak 53%, buah apel sebanyak 59% dan buah jeruk sebanyak 43%. Ada beberapa faktor yang menjadi penyebab permasalahan pada ketiga produk holtikultura tersebut yang telah diuraikan ke dalam diagram sebab-akibat diantaranya faktor manusia, metode budidaya, material dan lingkungan.

Abstract

Abstract. Convection Berkah is a company that produces children's clothing. One of the main challenges that this company often faces is that the production process has been carried out properly, but in reality the problem of defective products is still quite high and even tends to increase. The purpose of this study was to obtain a study on the implementation of quality control of children's clothing products carried out by Berkah Convection in an effort to minimize defective products. The method for data processing and analysis was carried out using the Statistical Quality Control method. The results showed that the implementation of quality control of children's clothing products that had been carried out by Convection Berkah in an effort to minimize defective products was carried out on raw materials, production processes, and finished products. The application of the Statistical Quality Control method is appropriate for controlling the quality of children's clothing products. The most common quality characteristic or type of defect that occurs in the production process of making children's clothing is untidy stitches. Based on the cause-and-effect diagram, there are four factors that cause the problem of the emergence of this type of defect, namely humans, machines, raw materials, work methods and the environment. Abstrak. Konveksi Berkah merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi pakaian anak. Salah satu tantangan utama yang sering dihadapi perusahaan ini adalah proses produksi telah dilaksanakan dengan baik, namun realitasnya masalah produk cacat masih cukup tinggi bahkan cenderung meningkat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh kajian tentang pelaksanaan pengendalian kualitas produk pakaian anak yang dilakukan oleh Konveksi Berkah dalam upaya meminimumkan produk cacat. Metode untuk pengolahan dan analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Statistical Quality Control. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pengendalian kualitas produk pakaian anak yang telah dilakukan oleh Konveksi Berkah dalam upaya meminimumkan produk cacat dilakukan atas bahan baku, proses produksi, dan produk jadi. Penerapan metode Statistical Quality Control tepat digunakan untuk pengendalian kualitas produk pakaian anak. Karakteristik kualitas atau jenis cacat paling banyak terjadi pada proses produksi pembuatan pakaian anak adalah jahitan tidak rapi. Berdasarkan diagram sebab-akibat terdapat empat faktor penyebab permasalahan munculnya jenis cacat yaitu manusia, mesin, bahan baku, metode kerja dan lingkungan.

Abstract

Abstract. During the current COVID-19 pandemic, service providers, particularly those in the tourism industry, must provide service facilities which support security from the COVID-19 virus, with the emergence of a vaccine program for the community representing a new opportunity for the tourism business to be able to rise. The tourism industry must begin to improve the quality of its services; thus, to continue to exist. One of the most well-known tourist businesses in Purwakarta is the Grand Situ Buleud Hotel; however, this hotel should also prepare for service enhancements since it has received numerous consumer complaints. This research was conducted to analyse and categorise the quality of hotel services provided by the Grand Situ Buleud Hotel to determine the improvement priorities, and the analysis calculation utilised a quantitative descriptive type with the canoe method. In this study, the canoe method analysis yielded the following results: 0 attractive category attributes, 10 must-be attributes that must always be present, 6 one-dimensional attributes that must be improved, and 5 indifferent attributes, indicating that these were less attention. Abstrak. Dimasa pandemi COVID-19 seperti ini penyedia pelayanan jasa khususnya pariwisata harus menyediakan fasilitas layanan yang mendukung keamanan dari virus COVID-19, dengan munculnya program vaksin bagi masyarakat menjadi titik terang baru untuk bisnis pariwisata untuk bisa bangkit. Agar tetap eksis, bisnis pariwisata harus mulai memperbaiki kualitas layanannya. Salah satunya bisnis pariwisata yang cukup terkenal di kota Purwakarta adalah Hotel Grand Situ Buleud, mereka juga harus mempersiapkan perbaikan layanan, karena masih banyaknya ulasan negatif yang mereka dapatkan dari konsumennya. Penelitian ini dilakukan oleh peneliti dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengelompokan kualitas pelayanan Hotel yang dilakukan oleh Hotel Grand Situ Buleud agar diketahui prioritas perbaikannya, perhitungan analisis menggunakan jenis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode kano. Hasil analisis dengan metode kano pada penelitian ini terdapat 0 atribut kategori attractive, 10 atribut must be yang harus selalu ada, 6 atribut one dimensional yang harus ditingkatkan, 5 atribut indifferent yang menyatakan atribut tersebut kurang diperhatikan.

Abstract

Abstract. Competition in the provision of health services triggers increased efficiency, productivity and service quality. Increased competition among health care providers affects patients in choosing hospitals that have a good track record. In terms of health service providers, there are two forms of providers currently operating, namely private hospitals and government hospitals. However, the public's perception of the quality of government hospital services is not very good when compared to private hospital health services. This study aims to analyze the quality of hospital services carried out by Al Ihsan Hospital, West Java Province at this time and the quality of hospital services using the kano model at Al Ihsan Hospital, West Java Province. The research method used in this research is a case study research. The results of the analysis with the canoe model in this study there are 2 attractive category attributes that must be maintained, 10 one-dimensional category attributes that must be prioritized and improved, 8 must be category attributes must always exist and become basic needs, and 1 indifferent attribute states that these attributes are lacking get attention. Abstrak. Persaingan dalam penyediaan pelayanan kesehatan memicu peningkatan efisiensi, produktivitas dan kualitas pelayanan. Meningkatnya pesaingan antar penyedia pelayanan kesehatan mempengaruhi pasien dalam menentukan rumah sakit yang mempunyai rekam jejak baik. Dalam hal penyedia pelayanan kesehatan, ada dua bentuk penyedia yang beroperasi saat ini yaitu rumah sakit swasta serta rumah sakit pemerintah. Akan tetapi persepsi masyarakat tentang kualitas layanan rumah sakit pemerintah tidak terlalu baik jika dibandingkan dengan layanan kesehatan rumah sakit swasta. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas pelayanan rumah sakit yang dilakukan oleh RSUD Al Ihsan Provinsi Jawa Barat saat ini serta kualitas pelayanan rumah sakit dengan menggunakan model kano pada RSUD Al Ihsan Provinsi Jawa Barat. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus. Hasil analisis dengan model kano pada penelitian ini terdapat 2 atribut kategori attractive yang harus dipertahankan, 10 atribut kategori one dimensional yang harus menjadi prioritas dan ditingkatkan, 8 atribut kategori must be harus selalu ada dan menjadi kebutuhan dasar, dan 1 atribut indifferent menyatakan atribut tersebut kurang mendapatkan perhatian.

Abstract

Abstract. CV Cihanjuang Inti Teknik is one of the industries that is engaged in the field of micro hydro turbines and the manufacture of instant powder bajigur bandrek. In the bandrek powder production process, there is still no governance in the quality control process, therefore there are still many defective products that fail to be marketed. The purpose of this study is to find out how quality control is carried out at CV Cihanjuang Inti Teknik and its analysis uses statistical quality control or SQC methods. The step of data analysis using statistical quality control is starting with making check sheets, histograms, scatter charts, Pareto charts, flowcharts, control charts, and fishbone charts. The results of this study show the implementation of quality control of bandrek products to analyze the occurrence of four types of defects in instant powder bandrek packaging products, namely faded packaging colors, untidy packaging straps, inappropriate net and non-standard taste. Based on the causal diagram there are 5 factors that cause this type of defect with each type of defect having different factors. The five factors are human, machine, method, material and media (environment). Abstrak. CV Cihanjuang Inti Teknik adalah salah satu industri yang bergerak di bidang mikrohidro turbin air dan pembuatan bandrek bajigur serbuk instan. Pada proses produksi bandrek sersbuk masih belum adanya tata kelola pada proses pengendalian kualitas, oleh karena itu masih terdapat banyak produk cacat yang gagal dipasarkan. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah guna mengetahui bagaimana pengendalian kualitas yang dilakukan di CV Cihanjuang Inti Teknik dan analisisnya menggunakan metode statistical quality control atau SQC. Langkah analisis data menggunakan statistical quality control yaitu diawali dengan membuat check sheet, histogram, scatter chart, pareto chart, flowchart, control chart, dan fishbone Chart. Hasil penelitian ini menampilkan pada pelaksanaan pengendalian kualitas produk bandrek untuk menganalisis terjadinya empat jenis cacat pada produk kemasan bandrek bubuk instan yaitu warna kemasan pudar, tali kemasan tidak rapi, netto tidak sesuai dan rasa tidak sesuai standar. Berdasarkan diagram sebab akibat terdapat 5 faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya jenis cacat ini dengan setiap jenis cacat nya memiliki faktor yang berbeda-beda. Kelima faktor tersebut adalah manusia, mesin, metode, material dan media (lingkungan).
