Abstract

This study discusses the application of patterned buttons to improve fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at RA Arrosyad Prambon. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at RA Arrosyad Prambon. This research was conducted using classroom action research methods. The research design used is the design by John Elliot's Model, which includes four plots of action planning, action implementation, observation or observation, and action reflection. The research subjects were 12 children. The research data consisted of primary and secondary. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. This study shows an increase in children's fine motor skills. This is evidenced by the implementation through three cycles. The results in the pre-cycle 35.42% then in the first cycle to 56.25% in the second cycle 88.5%. The results obtained in each cycle increased through the activity of attaching patterned buttons. The implication of this research is that the learning process involves sticking patterned buttons as an alternative for improving the quality of learning

Abstract

Fine motor skills are an important ability for children to have. This research aims to improve the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years through charcoal finger painting activities. The research method used is the Class Action Research Method (PTK) which is carried out through 4 stages, namely planning, implementation and observation, reflection. The research subjects were 20 group A students at RA Ar-Rohmah. The data collection technique uses observation and documentation with a target of 75% success as seen in the child's ability in 1) eye and hand coordination, 2) finger strength, 3) wrist flexibility. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in the pre-cycle, the results were 47.5%, the results in cycle 1 were 72.5% and the results were 83.5% in cycle II, which means that charcoal finger painting activities can improve children's fine motor skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence and how much influence the thematic storytelling method has on the reading literacy of children aged 5-6 years in InsanMandiri Kindergarten Sidoarjo. This research is an experimental research that requires experimental and control samples as data analysis. The population in this study was students at InsanMandiri Kindergarten, with a sample of 20 children each as an experimental sample and a control sample. Data collection techniques used are tests and documentation. Data analysis method using independent test t.Based on the results of the study obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is an average difference between the research samples. Meanwhile, from the mean, it can be seen that the test result score for the experimental class is 9.55 higher than the control class, which is 6.35. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of the thematic storytelling method on the reading literacy of children aged 5-6 years in TK InsanMandiriSidoarjo, amounting to 9.55. The student's thematic storytelling activity is stimulated to understand stories that have been read or heard, and it may help the student to answer questions about the reading and thus make it easier for the student to retell the reading or the story in his own language.

Abstract

The ability to recognize letters is the first step for children to be able to read, the ability to recognize letters well then the child tends to have the ability to read well too. This research is a classroom action research, with the object of Group B TK Dharma Wanita Persatuan Plaosan totaling 12 children. The writing of this study aims to determine the ability to recognize letters and the results of their improvement. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. This research was conducted in 3 cycles, namely pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be seen that with animation media, the ability to recognize letters in children can be improved well with a significant increase in each cycle. The percentage value obtained in the first cycle reached a percentage of 56.5% but had not reached the success target, therefore it was carried out again in the second cycle which achieved a success percentage of 82.2%. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the ability to recognize letters through animation media in Dharma Wanita Persatuan Plaosan Kindergarten with a percentage reaching 82.2%.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the efficacy of finger puppet media in improving the speaking abilities of children aged 3-4 years in a playgroup setting at KB 'Aisyiyah 02 Maduran, Lamongan Regency. Employing the Classroom Action Research approach over two cycles, the research involved three stages: pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II. Through the use of finger puppets, teachers encouraged children to engage in verbal expression, question-asking, and storytelling, making the learning experience enjoyable and captivating. The results demonstrated significant progress, with the overall speaking skill value increasing from 35.54% in the pre-cycle to 80.56% in cycle II. This study highlights the potential of finger puppet media in promoting effective communication skills among young children, providing valuable implications for early childhood education and language development.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pada anak usia 5-6 tahun melalui media Karpet Ular Tangga Baca (Kartaca). Penelitian dilaksanakan di TK Muslimat NU 151 Darussalam Sugihwaras, subjek pada penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B yaitu sebanyak 16 anak. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart.  Dengan siklus I dan II total pertemuan 6 kali, disetiap siklusi 3 kali pertemuan.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan membaca pada anak usia 5-6 tahun melalui media Karpet Ular Tangga Baca (Kartaca) meningkat dengan sangat baik. Hal ini terlihat dari keberhasilan pada setiap siklus, yang mana perolehan hasil penelitian pada pra siklus sebesar 44,92%, pada siklus I yaitu sebesar 58,59%, dan siklus II mencapai perolehan sebesar 82,03%. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan tiga siklus, pada pra siklus dilakukan sejumlah dua kali pertemuan, siklus I sebanyak tiga kali pertemuan, dan pada siklus II dilakukan sebanyak tiga kali pertemuan. Analisis data pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Abstract

Everyone must produce garbage and gradually the garbage will accumulate. Therefore, it is necessary to provide clear information for people who have minimal education on waste management. This bias starts from the students. MI Muhammadiyah Kedungbanteng has several problems related to inorganic waste, including: (1) the lack of teacher skills in the use of inorganic waste in schools and (2) the unavailability of inorganic waste processing programs. This is what underlies the activities of the Institutional Community Partnership Program (PKaMI) implemented at the MI. The objectives of PKaMI activities include: (1) increasing the ability of teachers to utilize inorganic waste and (2) implementing inorganic waste management programs in schools. The results obtained from this program are that teachers begin to have knowledge of inorganic waste management and have an understanding of how to implement waste management programs in the school curriculum.

Abstract

Kemampuan menggambar bagi guru PAUD sangat penting untuk dimiliki, hal ini dikarenakan kegiatan menggambar merupakan salah satu latihan untuk mengembangkan motorik halus anak. Namun berdasarkan observasi di temukan bahwa guru-guru mengalami permasalahan terkait kemampuan menggambar. Seringkali guru merasa gambarnya tidak sesuai dengan objek. Oleh karena itu dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menggambar melalui teknik huruf. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di TK Aisyiyah 7 Kalidawir, Tanggulangin, Sidoarjo dengan menggunakan metode pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam menggambar dengan teknik bentuk dasar huruf kapital. Guru dapat menghasilkan berbagai bentuk gambar dari inovasi dan kreatitasnya mengembangkan bentuk dasar menjadi bentuk-bentuk gambar yang dekat dengan anak seperti macam-macam binatang, tumbuhan, dan benda-benda di sekitar.

Abstract

Keterampilan motorik kasar sangatlah penting untuk dikuasai oleh setiap anak karena perkembangan motorik yang akan menjadikan anak menjadi lebih aktif dan responsif dalam menerima stimulus dari  lawan bicara dan sangat penting sebagai bekal untuk menjalani kehidupan dimasa mendatang  Pada anak usia 2-4 tahun kemampuan motorik kasar anak masih cenderung belum dikuasai sehingga pentingnya perkembangan motorik kasar perlu diperhatikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak melalui permainan lari estafet pada anak usia 2-4 tahun di kelompok PAUD Sidokare Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas mengacu pada model Suharsimi Arikunto dengan tahap tindakan, perencanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Jumlah subjek penelitian adalah sepuluh anak. Penelitian dimulai dengan  Pra Siklus dengan nilai presentase 32%, kemudian naik 59% pada Siklus I, dan 81% pada Siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permainan lari estafet meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak.

Abstract

Kecerdasan naturalistik adalah salah satu jenis kecerdasan yang penting untuk dikembangkan sejak usia dini untuk mempersiapkan generasi penerus bangsa yang cinta dengan alam sekitar. Terlebih lagi pendidikan yang menanamkan tentang rasa kepedulian terhadap lingkungan kepada peserta didik di era saat ini sangat minim, sistem pendidikan saat ini membutuhkan cara yang mampu menumbuhkan rasa peduli terhadap lingkungan sekitar salah satunya dapat dilakukan dengan cara menumbuhkan kecerdasan naturalistik anak melalui pembelajaran berwawasan kemaritiman. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan implementasi pembelajaran berwawasan kemaritiman untuk mengasah kecerdasan naturalistik anak serta menganalisis dampak pembelajaran berwawasan kemaritiman terhadap kecerdasan naturalistik anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yakni kepala sekolah, guru kelas kelompok usia 4-5 tahun, serta 15 anak kelompok A1. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman dilakukan dengan menggunakan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi/penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berwawasan kemaritiman mampu memberikan peluang kepada anak untuk menumbuhkan karakter kepedulian lingkungan yakni anak dapat memperluas pemahaman, menumbuhkan minat, kecintaan, merawat dan mendayagunakan kekayaan potensi kemaritiman dengan bijak melalui aktivitas yang dapat mengembangkan kecerdasan naturalis anak seperti melakukan pengamatan terhadap makhluk hidup yang ada di laut, melakukan simulasi pencemaran air laut untuk mengetahui penyebab kerusakan yang ada di laut serta melakukan aksi bersih pantai dan penanaman tumbuhan bakau untuk menjaga kebersihan dan kelestarian laut.
