Abstract

This research is motivated by a lack of tolerance as a form of global diversity among the community and students. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of knowledge of the concept of human rights on global diversity in FKIP students at the University of Riau. This study used a quantitative research method with a causal associative approach, and involved students of the Teaching and Education Faculty of the University of Riau as research subjects. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire, data processing used the IBM SPSS Version 25 application. Based on the results of the analysis, a simple linear regression equation was obtained, namely Ŷ = 10.904 + 0.381X, the regression coefficient X was 0.381 which stated that an addition of 1% value of human rights concept knowledge, then global diversity will increase by 0.381. Furthermore, the results of the t test obtained t_count (10.904) t_table (1.98) which shows that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, the research hypothesis is accepted that there is an influence of knowledge of the concept of human rights on global diversity in FKIP students at the University of Riau.

Abstract

The background of this research is the teachers who have not fully implemented TPACK. During the implementation of TPACK in schools by teachers, many teachers are not familiar with the term TPACK, but on average they have implemented some of the indicators in TPACK. Therefore it is very necessary to examine how the teacher teaches, the use of technology when learning and others. The formulation of the problem in this study is How is Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) PPKn Teachers of SMK Negeri Se-Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine the Learning Analysis of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) for PPKn Teachers at State Vocational Schools in Pekanbaru. This research is included in the quantitative research with a descriptive survey method. The population in this study were all PPKn teachers in Pekanbaru State Vocational Schools, totaling 32 people with a sample of 17 people. Based on the research results, it was found that the results of the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) Learning Analysis of PPKn Teachers at Sepekanbaru State Vocational Schools were in the "Medium" category. This can be seen from the results of the average alternative percentage value of 28.27% + 36.29% = 38.52% with an existence in the range of 33.34% - 66.67%. With these results, it can be concluded that the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) of PPKn Teachers in Pekanbaru State Vocational Schools is at the "Medium" level.

Abstract

The use of less effective and efficient learning methods (conventional learning methods) with low student participation has an impact on student learning outcomes, low student interest in learning, students have difficulty concentrating in listening to explanations of material presented by the teacher. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning outcomes of PPKn students who were taught using a project-based learning model (PJBL) and without using a project-based learning model (PJBL) and to determine whether there was any influence of project-based learning models on student learning outcomes. This type of quantitative research is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. Data collection techniques are observation, tests and documentation. The population is class XI with a sample of 70 students. Obtained tcount = 5.926 ttable = 199547, so there is an influence of the Project Based Learning learning model on student learning outcomes

Abstract

This research is classroom action research. The purpose of this research is to increase student PPKn learning activity through the application of the problem-based learning (PBL) learning model. The research subjects were students of grade 12 social studies 2 SMAN 1 Kuantan Mudik. The data collection technique used data from observation, pre-test, and post-test. The results of the research on learning activity in the pre-test (51.94%) showed 13 students whose level of activity was still low in the first cycle, increasing to (80.8%) for 18 students with high activity levels. and in the second cycle increased to (91%) 18 active students. The low activeness of Class X II IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kuantan Mudik students encouraged researchers to conduct Classroom Action Research (CAR) at the SMA. This study aims to (1) find out how the use of PBL increases the learning activity of Civics Class XII IPS 2 students at SMA Negeri 1 Kuantan Mudik and (2) find out how to increase the learning activity of Civics students in Class X II IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kuantan Mudik.

Abstract

The ability to write and publish articles in scientific journals is part of the professional competence of the teacher. The problem is that many teachers have not mastered the skills of writing scientific papers. As a result, many teachers find it difficult to advance in rank, especially for promotion after IV/a. This paper describes a community service activity sponsored by Riau University lecturers which aims to help teachers improve their scientific writing skills. Community Service Activities were performed at a SMAIT (Islamic Integrated High School) in Pekanbaru, Riau. This paper further explains the concept of the workshop, the content of the workshop materials, and the effectiveness of the workshop. This workshop lasted for two months with three face-to-face training sessions. The rest was done online via the Google Classroom platform. The material content covers the basic principles of scientific writing, the steps for writing scientific journals, how to cite and make references, including how to automatically quote from reference manager applications such as Mendeley, and how to submit articles through the Online Journal System (OJS). Data from the survey conducted at the end of the community service activity showed that, in general, this activity was well and effectively carried out. The majority of participants (72.7%) stated that their motivation to write increased after attending the training. Their knowledge of writing scientific articles have improved after training. Their ability in writing scientific journals is also relatively better than before following this structured workshop.

Abstract

Salah satu upaya meningkatkan kualitas remaja melalui program Generasi Berencana (GenRe) yang berlandaskan Undang-Undang No. 52 tahun 2009 ayat 1 (b) tentang perkembangan kependudukan dan pembangunan keluarga. Hal ini tentu berkorelasi dengan kehadirannya duta Generasi Berencana (GenRe) dan Pengembangan PIK- R (Pusat Informasi Konseling Remaja). Tujuan penelitian ini guna mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan Bagaimanakah Pelaksanaan Program Generasi Berencana (GenRe) Sebagai Upaya Mewujudkan Smart and Good Citizenship Siswa SMA Negeri 1 Tembilahan Hulu. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini yakni informan utama ketua PIK-R dan wakil PIK-R beserta pengurus inti dan anggotanya.Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Temuan penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa dalam pelaksanaan program Generasi Berencana (GenRe) sebagai upaya mewujudkan Smart and Good Citizenship Siswa SMA Negeri 1 Tembilahan Hulu terlaksana secara efektif dan aktif senantiasa mengkampanyekan materi Generasi Berencana (GenRe) melalui pertemuan rutin PIK-R 2 kali dalam smeinggu dan acap kali melaksanakan kegiatan sosialisasi dan seminar mengenai program Generasi Berencana (GenRe) di lingkungan sekolah maupun di lingkungan masyarakat.

Abstract

Era post-truth menimbulkan ancaman serius terhadap demokrasi dan diskursus publik. Artikel ini menganalisis peran krusial pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam membekali warga negara dengan keterampilan dan perspektif untuk menghadapi tantangan era post-truth di Australia. Melalui pendekatan analitis dan deskriptif, serta tinjauan literatur, artikel ini menyelidiki tujuan, kurikulum, dan strategi pengajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan dan peluang dalam implementasinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kewarganegaraan di Australia bertujuan untuk mengembangkan warga negara yang aktif, terlibat, dan bertanggung jawab, dengan penekanan pada keterampilan berpikir kritis, literasi media, dan ketahanan terhadap informasi yang menyesatkan. Meskipun terdapat tantangan, kolaborasi antara pemangku kepentingan, pemanfaatan teknologi, dan pengembangan profesional bagi guru diidentifikasi sebagai strategi kunci untuk memperkuat pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Temuan dan rekomendasi yang disajikan dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan kebijakan dan praktik pendidikan kewarganegaraan yang lebih efektif dalam menghadapi realitas era post-truth.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of student motivation to learn which is still low. The research results show that learning motivation is very important and can influence critical and creative thinking. This research aims to find out whether learning Pancasila education has an effect on the critical thinking skills of students at SMA Negeri 1 Tandun. This research was carried out using quantitative methods with a casual associative approach, and involved students of SMA Negeri 1 Tandun as research subjects. The data collection instrument used was conventional, and the IBM SPSS Version 22 application was used for data processing. Based on the results of the analysis, a simple linear regression equation was obtained, namely Ŷ= 14,245 + 0.629 Meanwhile, the results of the t test obtained t_count of 14.245 t_table of 2.00, which shows that so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So this research hypothesis is accepted that there is an influence of Civics Learning on Critical Thinking Ability.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai apakah terdapat pengaruh Pembelajaran PPKn Berdasarkan Kurikulum JSIT Terhadap Pembentukan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Di SMA IT Alfityah Pekanbaru. Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini probabilistic sampling sampel yang menampilkan semua item atau anggota populasi. Jumlah responden yang digunakan berjumlah 42 responden dengan kriteria telah mengikuti proses pembelajaran PPKn yang tengah berjalan dengan didasarkan dengan kurikulum JSIT. Metode analisis yang diterapkan adalah analisis regresi sederhana Yang mengaitkan dua variabel atau lebih. dengan pendekatan kuantitatif meliputi uji normalitas, uji linieritas, uji regresi linier sederhana, uji t dan koefisien determinan (R).Hasil dan temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran PPKn berdasarkan kurikulum JSIT memiliki pengaruh terhadap pembentukan kemampuan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh Pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan dan kebhinekaan global siswa. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah ada pengaruh pembelajaran pendidikan pancasila dan kewarganegaraan terhadap kebinekaan global peserta didik di SMAN 4 Tualang. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh Pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan Terhadap Kebhinekaan Global peserta didik di SMAN 4 Tualang. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Oleh karena itu, analisis data menggunakan metode statistik untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan terhadap kebhinekaan global siswa di SMAN 4 Tualang. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, diperoleh bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima bahwa ada pengaruh pembelajaran pendidikan pancasila dan kewarganegaraan terhadap kebhinekaan global siswa di SMAN 1 Tualang dan dari output diatas diperoleh koefisien determinasi (RSquare) sebesar 0,615 yang mengandung perngertian bahwa pengaruh variabel bebas (pembelajaran pendidikan pancasila dan kewarganegaraan) terhadap variabel keterikatan (kebhinekaan global siswa) adalah sebesar 61,5%. Sedangkan 38,5% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.
