Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh positif dari Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) Terhadap Pembentukan Warga Negara Global Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Peserta Didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru, terdiri dari 432 individu. Teknik penentuan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengambilan sampel acak sederhana (Simple random sampling), dengan menggunakan 25% dari total populasi tanpa mempertimbangkan strata, jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 108 peserta didik secara acak. Dalam penelitian ini, metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis Regresi Linear Sederhana dengan tes statistik numerik dari normalitas, linearitas, regresi linear sederhana, T, determinasi koefisien (R-Square), korelasi (R), dan hipotesis. Hasil dan temuan dari penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap Pembentukan Warga Negara Global Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan OSIS dengan sikap kepemimpinan siswa (student leadership) di MAN 1 Dumai. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif asosiatif dengan hubungan kausal dan menghasilkan data statistik. Hipotesis penelitian ini diuji dengan menggunakan rumus Pearson product moment dengan menggunakan IBM SPSS versi 22. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari siswa kelas XI di MAN 1 Dumai yang berjumlah 268 siswa dan menentukan jumlah sampel yang akan diambil menggunakan teknik proporsional sampling yaitu 25% dari jumlah populasi, sehingga sampel yang diambil adalah 67 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penyebaran kuisioner kepada responden yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini, hasil yang diperoleh dalam analisis pearson product moment adalah nilai korelasi pearson (r) sebesar 0,439, yang memiliki nilai lebih besar dari 0,05 yaitu tingkat hubungan sebesar 43,9% koefisien interval berkisar antara 0,41 hingga 0,60, artinya tingkat hubungannya sedang. Oleh karena itu, hipotesis alternatif (Ha) dapat diterima, yang berarti terdapat hubungan sedang antara partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan OSIS dan sikap kepemimpinan siswa di MAN 1 Dumai.

Abstract

The policy of reimbursement of accommodation or hygiene services in Tualang district of the Siak district in its implementation is still not running optimally. As a result of an interview with the Chief of the Environmental Services at Tualang district of Siak, he noted that the implementation of the policy is still not running optimally due to several factors, namely the lack of facilities for the handling of garbage. The purpose of this research is to determine how the implementation of PERDA No. 13 Year 2011 on Retribution of Public Service and Sanitation in Tualang district of Siak. The method used is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques based on observations and interviews. According to the results of the research obtained, the Implementation of PERDA No. 13 of 2011 on Retribution of Public Service and Sanitation by the government of the district has been implemented even though it has not yet been fully implemented. In terms of delivery of services or infrastructure, governments still have to improve services and infrastructure.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the poor condition of the family environment and school environment that affected Civics Learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the influence of the family environment and school environment on the learning outcomes of Civics grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 29 Pekanbaru. This study used a quantitative approach with an associative method of causal relationships. The results showed that the value of the family environment was in the good category with a percentage of 71%. The school environment is in the good category with a percentage of 73%. Meanwhile, the learning outcomes of Civics grade VIII students are included in the poor category with a percentage of 63.6%. The family environment and school environment affect the learning outcomes of civics at SMP Negeri 29 Pekanbaru with a value of Fcalculate 50.454 > Ftable 3.18 and significant of 0.000 < 0.05. The contribution of variables X1 and X2 to Y contributed 66% while the other 34% was influenced by other variables not discussed in this study.

Abstract

The ability to write and publish articles in scientific journals is part of the professional competence of the teacher. The problem is that many teachers have not mastered the skills of writing scientific papers. As a result, many teachers find it difficult to advance in rank, especially for promotion after IV/a. This paper describes a community service activity sponsored by Riau University lecturers which aims to help teachers improve their scientific writing skills. Community Service Activities were performed at a SMAIT (Islamic Integrated High School) in Pekanbaru, Riau. This paper further explains the concept of the workshop, the content of the workshop materials, and the effectiveness of the workshop. This workshop lasted for two months with three face-to-face training sessions. The rest was done online via the Google Classroom platform. The material content covers the basic principles of scientific writing, the steps for writing scientific journals, how to cite and make references, including how to automatically quote from reference manager applications such as Mendeley, and how to submit articles through the Online Journal System (OJS). Data from the survey conducted at the end of the community service activity showed that, in general, this activity was well and effectively carried out. The majority of participants (72.7%) stated that their motivation to write increased after attending the training. Their knowledge of writing scientific articles have improved after training. Their ability in writing scientific journals is also relatively better than before following this structured workshop.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya program pemerintah yaitu program KM (Kampus Mengajar) yang merupakan salah satu program dari MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka) Kementrian Pendidikan kebudayaan riset dan teknologi di Perguruan Tinggi. Pelaksanaan Program KM memiliki beberapa permasalahan yang timbul dari peserta kampus mengajar diantaranya kurangnya informasi mengenai Program KM, kurangnya sosialisasi penyelenggara dengan pihak sekolah, tidak terpenuhinya keuntungan mahasiswa peserta KM yang telah dijanjikan. Oleh karena itu sangat perlu di teliti bagaimana persepsi mahasiswa terhadap program KM dan bagaimana kenyataan di lapangan. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana Persepsi Mahasiswa Peserta Kampus Mengajar Terhadap Program Kampus Mengajar di FKIP Univesitas Riau. Penelitian ini bermanfaat untuk melakukan evaluasi terhadap pelaksanaan program kampus mengajar, mengetahui Persepsi Mahasiswa Peserta Kampus Mengajar Terhadap Program Kampus Mengajar di FKIP Univesitas Riau, dan menambah referensi bagi peneliti yang ingin membahas dan mengkaji permasalahan yang sama. Metode Penelitianini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta kampus mengajar angkatan 2 FKIP Universitas Riau yang berjulah 72 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di dapat data dan informasi bahwa hasil persepsi mahasiswa peserta kampus mengajar terhadap program kampus mengajar di FKIP Universitas Riau ditunjukkan dari hasil rata-rata nilai persentase alternative jawaban responden dominan yaitu sebesar 46,45% pada rentang 25,01% - 50% yang termasuk pada kategori “Cukup Baik”.

Abstract

This research compares the political systems and power structures of Indonesia and Australia, focusing on their similarities and This study compares the political systems and power structures of Indonesia and Australia using a qualitative approach through a comparative literature review. Indonesia adopts a presidential republic system. In contrast, power in Australia is distributed among the executive, legislative, and judicial branches under a constitutional monarchy (Westminster system) through a parliamentary model. The primary objective of this study is to identify the similarities and differences in democratic practices, the distribution of power, and the level of public trust in state institutions. The findings indicate that both countries share similarities in democratic practices, such as the regular conduct of elections and the implementation of the principle of Trias politica, which divides power into three main branches: the executive, the legislative, and the judiciary. However, notable differences are evident in their governmental structures. In Indonesia, the president serves as both head of state and head of government. In contrast, in Australia, the monarch plays a ceremonial role, while the prime minister, elected through parliamentary support functions as the head of government. There are also differences in terms of tenure. In Indonesia, members of the legislature serve five-year terms, while in Australia they serve three-year terms. Moreover, the Australian prime minister has no fixed term limit, as tenure depends on continued parliamentary support. In Australia, public trust in state institutions is generally higher due to greater transparency, accountability, and more effective law enforcement. Meanwhile, Indonesia faces ongoing challenges such as corruption and public dissatisfaction with the performance of state institutions, which results in comparatively lower levels of public trust.

Abstract

Instructional design has a strong influence on the success of university-level learning. Learning in higher education is effective if it is designed properly by the course unit tutor because the instructional design helps the preparation of a good lesson plan that contains objectives, materials, methods, media, class activities, evaluations, and so on. There are various instructional design models and one of the popular designs for media application is ASSURE. Some experts use the acronym ASSURE differently. In this article, ASSURE consists of Analyze learners, State objectives, Select method-media-materials, Utilize media-materials, Require learner participation, Evaluate and revise. The ASSURE model can be applied to various fields of study and levels, but has never been published in English language learning at university. Therefore, this article will explain the application of the ASSURE model in general English courses in universities.

Abstract

Era post-truth menimbulkan ancaman serius terhadap demokrasi dan diskursus publik. Artikel ini menganalisis peran krusial pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam membekali warga negara dengan keterampilan dan perspektif untuk menghadapi tantangan era post-truth di Australia. Melalui pendekatan analitis dan deskriptif, serta tinjauan literatur, artikel ini menyelidiki tujuan, kurikulum, dan strategi pengajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan dan peluang dalam implementasinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kewarganegaraan di Australia bertujuan untuk mengembangkan warga negara yang aktif, terlibat, dan bertanggung jawab, dengan penekanan pada keterampilan berpikir kritis, literasi media, dan ketahanan terhadap informasi yang menyesatkan. Meskipun terdapat tantangan, kolaborasi antara pemangku kepentingan, pemanfaatan teknologi, dan pengembangan profesional bagi guru diidentifikasi sebagai strategi kunci untuk memperkuat pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Temuan dan rekomendasi yang disajikan dapat berkontribusi pada pengembangan kebijakan dan praktik pendidikan kewarganegaraan yang lebih efektif dalam menghadapi realitas era post-truth.
