Abstract

This study aims to develop Flashcard learning media in learning English vocabulary mastery at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Annur Alhidayah Islamic Boarding School. The research method used is research and development with the ADDIE approach (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis is carried out using qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. The result of this study is a revised Flashcard media based on advice from media experts. The revision of the Flashcard media includes the addition of adjectives and verbs as new forms and types of words. Product trials were carried out in English course classes at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Annur Alhidayah Islamic Boarding School. The results of the trial showed that the use of Flashcard media can improve students' vocabulary mastery. The study also compared with previous studies that used vocabulary learning strategies without expert assistance. In conclusion, the development of this Flashcard media can be an effective alternative in learning English vocabulary mastery at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Annur Alhidayah Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to ascertain the relationship between learning motivation and academic achievement in second semester students of the English Education Study Program at Nahdlatul Ulama University of Blitar.  The design of this research is correlational quantitative. Interviews, documentation, and questionnaires were used to gather the data. The results of the validity analysis showed that as many as 25 questions were declared valid without exception, while the degree of validity ranged from 0.404 to 0.771.  The reliability results show a coefficient of 0.915 and it is declared reliable.  Chi-Square test and an analogous Fisher Exact test are used in data analysis. Of the 31 respondents, there were 17 students with high motivation (54.8%) and 14 students (45.2%) with low motivation.  Students with cum laude GPA as many as 24 respondents (77.4%) and very satisfactory GPA as many as 7 students (22.6%).  The outcome of the statistical test has a p-value of 1,000 (p > 0.05). This indicates that there is no relationship between learning motivation and academic achievement among second semester English Education Study Program students at Nahdlatul Ulama University of Blitar.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the results of validator validation and student responses to the product that the researcher had developed in the form of a supplementary book with a combination of Visio media to test 16 7B grade students. MTs Syekh Subakir 1. This study uses Research and Development (R&D) used Borg and Gall theory (2003). The material presented in the media is descriptive text and this additional product focuses on speaking skill. Data collection technique were carried out used unstructured interviews and surveys. The instruments used are interview guidelines and questionnaires used a Likert scale. Based on the results of the validation carried out by material and media experts, from the results of student responses, the percentage of results obtained were 82,3%, 83,3%, and 79.8% with the criteria "Good or Valid or useful". so, it can be concluded that additional descriptive text books as learned media are very well used in the English learned process.

Abstract

The government, through the Ministry of Education and Culture, seeks to provide teaching materials (text books) and revise the 2013 Curriculum, which distinguishes it from the High School English Curriculum, in order to fulfill good English language skills in students, especially in Vocational High Schools. Media in learning English is very important, as evidenced by an analysis of the needs of 38 students and an English teacher of class X Grade in the Electrical Power Installation Program. This study aims to determine the process of obtaining English teaching materials needed by students and the development of English supplementary material for narrative text based on the writing task. This study used the ADDIE Research and Development model (R&D) model. The results used questionnaires, unstructured interviews, expert judgment, and observation. It used several steps including: (1) Research&Information collection, (2) Develop preliminary form of product, (3) Product revision, (4) Product testing, (5) Final product revision. The object of this research subject is research were 38 students of X Grade in Electrical Power Installation Program students majoring at SMK Islam 1 Blitar. The result of expert validation showed that the product gets a 3,89 value is in the range of  3.25 < x < 4. This supplementary material is categorized “Very Good” feasible to use as supplement about narrative text material for X Grade in Electrical Power Installation Program students majoring.

Abstract

This research aims to develop PPT interactive English for recount text material at MA Ma'arif Udanawu. This product was developed in response to the dearth of teaching resources available to educators. Since textbooks and ebooks are typically the only learning tools used, the offered information is less engaging. Students also lack self-assurance when speaking. They fear making grammatical or pronunciation errors. The aim of this research is to create an ADDIE-based PPT interactive. Interviews and questionnaires were used to gather data. At MA Ma'arif Udanawu, 38 students in MIPA 5 received questionnaires. In the meantime, the English teacher and several students were interviewed. The validity of PPT interactive learning media on English material with recount text material has been tested with the results of instrument validity of 88%, media (design) validity of 100% and material validity (content) of 97% with very valid criteria and feasible to use. The practicality of interactive PPT learning media on recount text material obtained a questionnaire result from student responses of 82% with very practical and appropriate criteria for use.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the process and results the development of comic strip media for teaching reading skills in explanatory text material. The research subjects were 10 students of class XI MA Assalam jambewangi. The development procedure refers to the ADDIE model. Observation techniques, questionnaires and observations were used as information gathering in the preliminary study. Meanwhile, to determine the feasibility of comic strip products, researchers used a questionnaire instrument given to content and media experts. Then a student response questionnaire was conducted to determine the level of student satisfaction with the media. According to the content expert's assessment, a score of 88% was obtained in the very good category. From media experts, a score of 98% was obtained which was classified in the very Good category. In addition, the results of the student response questionnaire also scored 79% in the good category. Based on the overall assessment, the development of comic strip learning media on giving and asking for information themed explanatory text material for class XI students was declared valid and suitable for use teaching and learning activities in the School.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop interactive English modules which have been designed in a systematic and attractive manner by containing material, limitations and assessment methods. With this module, researchers hope to help English teachers at MTs An-Nur in the learning process so that they become more active and easy to achieve learning goals. According to observations made by researchers, a problem has been found, namely the lack of student literacy results in very little student interest in learning English. On the other hand students also have difficulty understanding it. The research method used in this article is research and development (R&D), a research approach to produce new products or improve existing products. In producing certain products, this research is a needs analysis using survey or qualitative methods. Each product produced also needs to be tested for product feasibility with experimental methods. In accordance with the results that have been carried out, the validation results obtained by the expert team are 91%. 81% student response, and 85% teacher response. With these results it can be concluded that the development of interactive modules for class VIII at MTs An-Nur Bululawang is declared valid and feasible to use.

Abstract

Penelitian dengan judul Analisis Manajemen Pembinaan Prestasi Tim PSHT Berbasis CIPP Di Sman 1 Garum Kabupaten Blitar Tahun 2021 dilaksanakan karena kurangnya perhatian dan dukungan pihak sekolah. Untuk itu, CIPP menjadi solusi dalam pemecahan masalah di SMAN 1 Garum Blitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembinaan prestasi dari segi context, input, process, product di SMAN 1 Garum. Metode yang digunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan konsep CIPP. Instrumen penelitian meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian untuk segi context visi misi dan tujuan program mendapat penilaian “sangat baik”, aspek input penerimaan pelatih dan sarana prasarana mendapat penilaian ”baik” dan “sangat baik” untuk perekrutan atlet, aspek process program latihan, atlet, koordinasi mendapat penilaian “sangat baik”, pelatih mendapat penilaian “baik”. untuk hasil konsumsi mendapat penilaian “kurang baik”, aspek product mendapat penilaian “sangat baik”.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan di Desa Kemloko Kecamatan Nglegok Kabupaetn Blitar. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pelatihan penguatan managemen organisasi, sarana prasarana dan implementasi internet marketing untuk menjaga warisan budaya Seni Reog Bulkiyo. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan potensi Seni Reog Bulkiyo yang ada di Desa Kemloko. Adapun solusi dari permasalahan di atas adalah: Yang pertama, perbaikan manajemen kelembagaan dan peningkatan mutu SDM. Perbaikan ini dilakukan dengan cara mengenalkan sistem manajerial lembaga yang bagus dan peningkatan mutu SDM serta memberikan pelayanan yang prima kepada mitra dan masyarakat melalui kegiatan sosialisasi dan pemberdayaan serta pendampingan; Kedua, inovasi dan pengembangan tarian. Kegiatan ini dilakukan tanpa mengurangi esensi dari cerita sejarah yang terkandung dalam seni Reog Bulkiyo, dengan cara: meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai perlunya menjaga warisan budaya kesenian Reog Bulkiyo, dan menerapkan teknik produksi berbasis inovasi kepada masyarakat dengan dilakukakan pendampingan; Ketiga, peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat dari usaha Jasa Seni Pertunjukan Reog Bulkiyo, dengan cara: meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai teknik pemasaran untuk usaha Jasa Seni Pertunjukan Reog Bulkiyo yang baik melalui kegiatan pelatihan, menerapkan teknik pemasaran berbasis teknologi Internet Marketing untuk usaha Jasa Seni Pertunjukan Reog Bulkiyo yang baik kepada mitra dan masyarakat dengan dilakukakan pendampingan, dan pembangunan Jejaring kemitraan dengan berbagai pihak; Yang keempat, membuat pertunjukkan Seni Reog Bulkiyo berbasis bilingual untuk menarik perhatian turis asing; Yang kelima adalah pembuatan program tindak lanjut pasca pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM, dengan cara: perluasan jangkauan marketing hingga keluar daerah melalui berbagai media promosi, dan peningkatan jumlah penonton usaha Jasa Seni Pertunjukan Reog Bulkiyo.

Abstract

This research aims to modify the cooperative learning model. The modified learning models are the picture and picture learning model and the talking stick learning model. Both models are combined to create a new learning model. This research follows the Research and Development (R&D) methodology. The development model used in this research is the ADDIE model, which consists of five steps: analysis, design, development or production, implementation or delivery, and evaluation. In this research, the stages were only carried out until the product development phase, so the effectiveness of the product has not been tested. The result of this research is a product in the form of a picture and picture learning model with a talking stick system. Additionally, the developed learning model also produces a teaching medium in the form of pictures. These pictures are used as a replacement for the stick that students will pass around. The population and sample in this research are the 7th-grade students of Excellent Ma'arif Garum Junior High School, 11 students. The data collection techniques in this research are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis used is qualitative and quantitative. The evaluation results from the reviewers, in terms of product quality, were coded using a quantitative scale referring to the Likert scale categories of product quality. The assessment results for content validity received a percentage score of 87.5% and were categorized as very appropriate, while the assessment results for construct validity received a percentage score of 87.5% and were categorized as very appropriate. Meanwhile, the practicality aspect received a percentage score of 91.1% with a category of very appropriate. The accumulated assessment result was 88.7% with a category of very appropriate. The developed learning model is considered suitable for use in the learning process.
