Abstract

Derasnya arus globalisasi dan modernisasi membawa dampak pada berubahnya gaya hidup masyarakat di Kota Pekalongan. Perubahan gaya hidup ini sering dialami oleh remaja, khususnya remaja yang berasal dari golongan ekonomi kelas menengah. Hal ini disebabkan karena remaja tersebut memiliki modal yang cukup dari pendapatan ekonomi orang tuanya. Penelitian ini mengambil lokasi di Kota Pekalongan dengan pertimbangan bahwa kota ini adalah salah satu kota kelas menengah yang mempunyai keunikan tersendiri. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pola pendidikan keluarga keluarga kelas menengah, sekolah dan masyarakat. Selain itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pergaulan, perilaku konsumsi dan komunikasi remaja kelas menengah yang akan menggambarkan gaya hidupnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan memanfaatkan teknik analisis data interaktif dalam pembahasannya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya hidup remaja kelas menengah yang terlihat dari pergaulan, pilihan konsumsi dan komunikasi merupakan cerminan hasil dari pendidikan yang dilakukan oleh keluarga, sekolah dan lingkungan masyarakat. The rise of globalization and modernization bring the effect to the changes of the lifestyle in the people of Pekalongan. These lifestyle changes are often experienced by teenagers, especially young people who come from the middle-class economy. These happen because they have sufficient capital from their parent income. This study took place in Pekalongan considering that this city is one of the middle-class cities that has its own uniqueness. The purpose of this research is to determine the educational pattern of the family, school and the community from the middle-class. In addition this research is conducted to determine the social intercourse, consumption behavior and the communication of the middle-class teenagers which will describe their lifestyle. The method used in this research is a qualitative research by using interactive data analysis techniques to the discussion. The result of the research showed that the lifestyle of middle-class teenager which can be seen from the social intercourse, the choice of consumption and communication are a reflection of the education result by the family, school and society environment.

Abstract

Pembelajaran sejarah lokal sangat strategis sebagai sarana pengembangan nilai-nilai cinta tanah air dan budaya daerah. Nilai-nilai yang terkandung pada situs Masjid Agung Demak telah dimanfaatkan oleh sebagian SMA negeri di Kabupaten Demak. Kenyataan tersebut menjadi dasar penelitian mengenai pemanfaatan situs tersebut sebagai sumber belajar sejarah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui relevansi guru memanfaatkan situs tersebut sebagai sumber belajar sejarah, strategi para guru memanfaatkan situs tersebut, mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mendukung pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan faktor-faktor yang menghambat pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan situs tersebut sebagai sumber belajar sejarah di SMA di Kabupaten Demak. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif deskriptif yang dilaksanakan di SMA negeri sekabupaten Demak yang berjumlah 11 sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data secara statistik deskriptif analisis kualitatif.Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari pembelajaran sejarah dengan memanfaatkan situs tersebut memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap pengetahuan, perilaku dan kreatifitas siswa, Selain itu siswa juga mampu mengimplemetasikan nilai-nilai yang terdapat pada materi sejarah Masjid Agung Demak. Strategi pemanfaatan situs tersebut sebagai sumber belajar sejarah di SMA Kabupaten Demak dapat dilakukan dengan cara survey, field trip dan mengundang narasumber, factor-faktor yang menghambat adalah kesesuaian dengan alokasi waktu dan biaya, sedangkan yang mendukung yaitu dukungan sekolah, sikap, keterampilan dan kemauan guru, dan keluwesan atau fleksibilitas dalam penggunaannya.Pemanfaatan situs tersebut sangat relevan dengan pembelajaran sejarah terutama di Demak yang memiliki banyak benda-benda peninggalan sejarah. Untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran sejarah guru merancang desain pembelajaran yang diintegrasikan dengan materi pembelajaran sejarah Kerajaan Demak, kehidupan masyarakat dan situs-situs peninggalannya, sehingga pembelajaran sejarah dapat memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap pengetahuan, perilaku dan kreatifitas siswa. Saran guru hendaknya memanfaatkan peninggalan sejarah sebagai sumber belajar harus direncanakan secara baik, sistematis dan terprogram, disesuaikan dengan materi pelajaran serta dituangkan dalam persiapan mengajar.Local history learning was very strategic as a means of developing the values of patriotism and local culture. The values implied on site of Demak Great Mosque has been used by most of the state high school in Demak. The fact became the basic of the author’s interest in conducting research on utilizing the site of Demak Great Mosque as a learning resource of History.The goal of this study was to determine the relevancy of the teachers who utilized that site as a learning source of history, teachers strategies in utilizing and knowing the factors that supported the implementation of learning and that ofhindered the implementation of learning by utilizing that site as a learning resource of history in senior high school in Demak. it ware a qualitative descriptive research . It was conducted in the state high schools in Demak with amount of 11 schools. The technique of collecting data used questionnaires, observation, interviews and documentation. Statistical data analysis techniques used qualitative analysis descriptive.The results of this research was obtained in the teaching of history by utilizing that site provided a positive influence on knowledge, behavior and student creativity. In addition students were also able to implement the values implied in the historical material of that site. Utilizing strategy of that site as a learning resource of history in senior high school in Demak could be done by means of surveys, field trips and inviting speakers. The obstructed factors ware the compliance with the allocation of time and costs, factors which supported was support from schools, attitudes, skills and willingness of teachers and the flexibility or versatility in its usage.The utilization of the site of Demak Great Mosque highly relevant to the teaching of history, especially in the city of Demak wich had many historical relics. To support the learning process of history, Historical teachers designed the learning that integrated with historical learning material of the kingdom of Demak, community life and relics sites, so that the historical learning could provide a positive influence on students knowledge, behavior and creativity. Teachers suggestions should utilize the historical heritage as a learning resource should be planned well, systematic and programmed, adapted to the subject matter and stated in the teaching preparation.

Abstract

The availability of water in Gunungpati Subdistrict and its surroundings is generally declining, while the need for water continues to increase, so that conflicts over water use will occur. But in Kandri Village, there are springs that have large discharge and are maintained by the presence of local wisdom of the local community. The technique of data collection techniques interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis using qualitative description. The results showed that the public perception towards spring, namely spring water as God-given gift, supernatural creatures, dwelling place of haunted, Holy places, and bring blessings to the citizens. Other forms of local wisdom consists of events nyadran kali conducted on Thursday kliwon Jumadil Akhir month of Islamic calendar, Matirto Suci Dewi Kandri dance a meaningful phrasing gratitude and norms in the form of recommendations as well as the prohibition of should not be denounced water, kitchen appliances, washing is prohibited should not take water directly from springs and if want to use must request a permit a meaningful tribute to against springs and nature around, protect the eyes from water pollution, keeping the output water sustainability and avoid the use of undue hardship. Efforts to preserve local wisdom, namely carrying out events nyadran kali on a regular basis, the modification of ritual nyadran kali are adjusted with the times, strengthening the community spirit and tradition of the religion, and make the village Kandri village Tour. This research is expected to provide information on knowledge of spring water conservation based on local wisdom to the community.

Abstract

Social studies learning can develop the potential of students who can interpret the environment in schools, communities and countries, and become good citizens. This study is to analyze the application of nationalist-minded character values in social studies learning, and the success of the PPK program on nationalist values in social studies learning in class VII in the second semester of the 2017/2018 school year in SMP N 2 Kepil, Wonosobo District. The research uses qualitative methods. Data collection used are observation, interviews and documents. The researcher uses triangulation technique. Data analysis consists of three lines, namely: data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing or verification. The results of the study show that, the teacher prepares learning tools at the beginning of each semester and new school year. The teacher always exemplifies and reprimands the students. The teacher always integrates, incorporates and applies nationalist values that are nationalistic in the midst of learning activities with lectures, question and answer, and discussion. The students change in behavior that is better, although there are still some behaviors of students who lack of character. The implementation of the PPK program at school was not smooth, due to several factors, namely, sometimes the homeroom teacher did not monitor and supervise students in the class because there were tasks that had to be completed.The research hopes that students become good moral and achievement.

Abstract

Social studies learning aims to enable students to solve the social problems they face and make as good citizens. Walisongo Junior High School is a school where most of the students live in flood-prone areas, so that students’ home affect their caring attitude towards their environment. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship of social studies learning to the flood caring attitude of students at Walisongo Junior High School. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The technique of collecting data is in-depth interviews, observation and document study. The results showed that students’ caring attitude towards the environment at Walisongo Junior High School was still low. Social studies learning that is still monotonous has a direct impact on students’ caring attitude towards the environment. This research is expected to be able to provide solutions to increase the concerning of environment particularly.

Abstract

Lower students interest in social studies is influenced by learning strategies that have not been able to meet the demands of development and needs. The purpose of this study is to analyze social studies learning in market main discussion and market agree based on outdoor learning in improving conceptual understanding of social science knowledge. The research method used is qualitative research design with phenomenology. Informants in this study were teachers, students, traders in the market. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data in this study uses triangulation techniques. The results showed that the students of Public Junior High School 1 Bodeh, Pemalang Regency, in the process of outdoor learning in the market could increase conceptual knowledge with an achievement level classically 87.5%. This learning strategy can be used for innovation in the learning process that is appropriate to the development and needs of students.

Abstract

Failure to harvest that caused by weather/climate factors is a serious problem for farmers. There problems cause low productivity of farmers. Climate field school became a solution to increase the farmer’s capacity in managing agricultural area. The purpose of this study is to examine the capacity of farmers from climate change. Analyzing the adaptation of farmers to climate change. This research was conducted quantitatively with quantitative descriptive methods. The population of this study was all 25 farmer participants of CFS. The techniques of collecting data were through questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis techniques using questionnaire data analysis and descriptive analysis. The results in this study showed that the farmers’ capacity in the Banyurip Village had a very high capacity with an average percentage which is reaching 76.4%. Farmer adaptation strategies to climate change are increasing, which is marked by a change from conventional way to more effective and efficient treatments. Farmer adaptation behavior is characterized by increased attitudes in the management of irrigation systems, determination of tolerant rice varieties, analysis of soil content and study of cropping patterns.

Abstract

Nowadays, character education is required to educate learners so they will be excellent individuals.Many schools take various ways to apply strategies to succeed in character education programs.Besides nurturing the characters at home, done by parents, the educational institution also plays agreat role to develop children's characters. This research used a qualitative approach. The data werecollected through in-depth interview, observation, and documentary study. The data analysis useddata reduction, display, and conclusion. The findings consisted of 1) the Islamic school characterbuildingstrategies in Dempet applied Islamic habituations. They were such as reading AsmaulHusna and reciting Al-Qur'an together in the morning before getting into the class and starting thelearning; 2) the implementation of character educational empowerment was done through Islamiccultures in Dempet district. It could be done by providing memorization tasks of Al-Qur'an verses.Every class should have different memorization level and should apply extracurricular to educate thelearners to have excellent characters, and 3) the engaged hindrances during its implementation werelacks of parents' controls. Thus, the learners tended to have bad personalities while being at schoolor home.

Abstract

Indonesia that continued to change over time will no doubt affect the aspects of life. Aspect that could provide sustenance was the need of transportation through the construction of the Makassar - Parepare railway line. The goal was to know the social changes and adaptation patterns of children when social changes occurred as a result of the construction of the Makassar-Parepare railway. This study used qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The informants of the study were; 1) PPK Railway Development of South Sulawesi, 2) Affected communities, 3) Head of BPD in Ajakkang village, and 4) Head of Polewali environment. The data collection technique of this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results is construction of the Makassar - Parepare railway led a social change that could be seen based on the process and time. The planned social change occurred because the government is the agent of change in the development. The unplanned social change occurred because of the flooding. The form of social change based on the time of revolution in development has led to conflict due to different interests. The adaptation of children to social changes in society tends to conformity adaptation rather than other forms of adaptation.

Abstract

Kandri Village is one of villages in Gunungpati district that known as various types of processed cassava. The potential of rural areas strongly support to be developed into  culinary center because near with Kreo Caves tourism and the construction of reservoirs that would also potentially become a new tourist area and the existence of Kandri Village adds by traversed path of the tourism Gunungpati district is a potential to be further developed to support tourism in the Semarang city. Its necessary assessment about the development of Kandri Village as a center of cassava culinary in Semarang. Research uses qualitative rationalistic approach. The development Kandri as a center of culinary tape and processed needs to get support from the government and other stakeholders. Society of processed cassava producers tend to look for cassava raw materials from outside Kandri because raw material shortages. Marketing system is limited to orders and culinary exhibits. Manufacturer and distributor of tape at Kandri consists of two types of daily and seasonal. Zone of culinary tape and other located in Talun Kacang and integrated with Kreo Caves tourism and Jatibarang Reservoir.Kelurahan Kandri merupakan salah satu desa di Kecamatan Gunungpati yang terkenal akan berbagai jenis hasil olahan singkongnya. Potensi kawasan desa sangat mendukung untuk dikembangkan lebih jauh menjadi pusat kuliner karena terdapat obyek wisata Gua Kreo dan adanya pembangunan waduk yang nantinya juga berpotensi menjadi area wisata baru serta keberadaan Kelurahan Kandri yang dilalui jalur pergerakan kepariwisataan kecamatan Gunungpati menambah potensi kawasan untuk dikembangkan lebih jauh untuk mendukung kepariwisataan kota Semarang. Pengkajian lebih dalam mengenai pengembangan Kelurahan Kandri sebagai pusat kuliner singkong di Semarang perlu dilakukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Kualitatif Rasionalistik. Pengembangan Kandri sebagai pusat kuliner tape dan olahannya perlu mendapatkan dukungan pemerintah dan stakeholder lain. Masyarakat produsen olahan singkong cenderung mencari bahan baku singkong dari luar Kandri karena keterbatasan bahan baku. Sistem pemasaran masih terbatas pada pesanan dan pameran kuliner. Produsen dan distributor tape di Kandri terdiri dari dua jenis yaitu harian dan musiman. Mintakat kawasan sentra kuliner tape dan olahannya terletak di kawasan Talun Kacang dan terintegrasi dengan kawasan pariwisata Goa Kreo dan Waduk Jatibarang.
