Abstract

Pelatihan ini dilakukan untuk memabntu guru BK SMA Kabupaten Ponorogo dalam meningkatkan Kompetensi sebagai konselor melalui pelatihan konseling naratif. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan menggunakan tahapan SLA (Structure Learning Approach) yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan yakni instruksi, modelling, role playing, balikan ,dan pemberian tugas. Hasilnya dapat dilihat dai perubahan rata-rata pretest-posttes yang dilaksanakan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 3.01 point.  Saran untuk pelatihan selanjutnya dapat dikembangkan dalam bantuan layanan konseling naratif secara offline.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah konformitas teman sebaya dan kontrol diri berpengaruh terhadap pengambilan keputusan karir siswa. Pendekatan kuantitatif desain korelasional. Populasi penelitian yakni 80 siswa kelas XII MA Bilingual Batu. Penentuan sampel ditentukan dengan teknik sampling jenuh yang menjadikan seluruh populasi sebagai sampel penelitian karena jumlah yang tidak lebih dari 100 siswa. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan skala pengambilan keputusan karir berdasarkan teori Parson, skala konformitas teman sebaya berdasarkan teori Wiggins, serta skala kontrol diri berdasarkan teori Averill. Uji asumsi menggunakan uji normalitas, linearitas, multikolinearitas, dan heteroskedastisitas. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana dan analisis regresi berganda yang dibantu dengan aplikasi SPSS 26 for windows. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai sig. 0,168 0,05 pada analisis regresi berganda atau dapat dikatakan bahwa konformitas teman sebaya dan kontrol diri secara bersamaan (simultan) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengambilan keputusan karir siswa kelas XII MA  Bilingual Batu.

Abstract

Purpose: The need for diagnostic assessment in the independent curriculum necessitates school counselors to be able to provide valid and reliable instruments to assess students' conditions. One crucial aspect to consider is the psychological well-being of students. Therefore, training in developing non-cognitive diagnostic assessments is necessary to support counselor competencies in the era of independent learning curriculum. Method: The training utilized the ADDIE training model, starting from analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This model was employed to assist in implementing training tailored to the participant's needs. The evaluation was conducted through process evaluation and outcome evaluation. Practical Applications: The training resulted in the development of a psychological well-being scale by school counselors. Subsequently, the scale underwent construct validation by experts, as well as validity and reliability testing using SPSS 24. A guide for using the psychological well-being scale was then created, including rationale, usage instructions, interpretation guidelines, and sample assessment result presentations. Conclusion: The training successfully enhanced counselor competencies in developing non-cognitive diagnostic assessments.

Abstract

Prokastinasi akademik yang terjadi di kalangan siswa SMA mengalami peningkatan seiring berlalunya pandemic Covid-19 dan meningkatnya perkembangan teknologi dan media sosial. Siswa lebih memilih menunda mengerjakan tugas dan mengalami kejenuhan dalam kegiatan belajar. Prokastinasi akademik menjadi masalah yang harus segera ditangani di sekolah, karena berdampak pada prestasi akademik siswa. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian yaitu untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru Bimbingan Konseling (BK) dalam melaksanakan konseling dengan pendekatan Suryomentaram, sehingga dapat  meningkatkan kualitas pelaksanaan konseling yang dilakukan Guru BK dalam membantu menyelesaikan masalah prokastinasi akademik siswa. Metode belajar melalui tindakan (learning by doing) menjadi alternatif yang akan membantu guru BK dalam mengembangkan keterampilan konseling dengan pendekatan Suryomentaram melalui penyampaian informasi dan implementasi konseling pada siswa yang mengalami prokastinasi akademik. Hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian adalah peningkatan pengetahuan guru BK dan peningkatan keterampilan guru BK di SMA dan SMK dalam melaksanakan proses konseling dengan menggunakan pandangan Suryomentaram dalam mengatasi prokastinasi akademik siswa. Kata kunci—Konseling Suryomentaram, Guru Bimbingan Konseling, Pendampingan Guru Abstract Academic procrastination that occurs among high school students has increased along with the passing of the Covid-19 pandemic and the increasing development of technology and social media. Students prefer to postpone doing assignments and experience boredom in learning activities. Academic procastination is a problem that must be addressed immediately in schools, because it has an impact on students’ academic achievement. The aim of the service activity is to increase the competency of Counseling Guidance (BK) teachers in carrying out counseling using the Suryomentaram approach, so that they can improve the quality of counseling carried out by BK teachers in helping to solve students’ academic procrastination problems. The learning by doing method is an alternative that will help guidance and counseling teachers in developing counseling skills using the Suryomentaram approach through conveying information and implementing counseling for students who experience academic procrastination. The results of the implementation of the service are an increase in the knowledge of guidance and counseling teachers and an increase in the skills of guidance and counseling teachers in high schools and vocational schools in carrying out the counseling process using Suryomentaram’s views in overcoming students' academic procrastination. Keywords—Suryomentaram Counseling, Teacher Guidance Counseling, Teacher Mentoring

Abstract

This study examines the significance of the paths: (1) from social support to career adaptability, (2) from work value to career adaptability, (3) from self-esteem to career adaptability, (4) from social support to career adaptability via self-esteem, and (5) from work value to career adaptability via self-esteem. A total of 265 students from the Faculty of Education Universitas Negeri Malang who participated in the Asistensi Mengajar (AM) Program were selected using a simple random sampling technique. Four instruments were used to collect data: the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (CAAS), the Work Value Inventory (WVI), the Self-Esteem Scale, and the Social Support Scale. The data were analysed using path analysis. The findings revealed that all paths have significance values below 0.05, indicating that all proposed paths are acceptable.  The analysis also shows that work value has a direct effect on self-esteem, with a coefficient of 0.160, while social support exhibits a more substantial direct effect on self-esteem, with a coefficient of 0.412. Self-esteem directly influences career adaptability with a coefficient of 0.435. Indirectly, work value impacts career adaptability via self-esteem with a coefficient of 0.070, and social support influences career adaptability via self-esteem with a coefficient of 0.179. The total effects of work value and social support on career adaptability via self-esteem were calculated to be 0.230 and 0.591, respectively. These results suggest that social support has a more pronounced total effect on career adaptability compared to work value, primarily due to its stronger direct effect on self-esteem. The study underscores the critical role of self-esteem as a mediator in enhancing career adaptability through social support and work values.

Abstract

Peningkatan kualitas layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling dengan keberagaman budaya, menjadi tantangan tersendiri. Peningkatan kompetensi konselor sekolah yang diselenggarakan secara berkala oleh Musyawarah Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (MGBK) tidak cukup memfasilitasi permasalahan yang dialami oleh konselor di sekolah. Hal tersebut, diperparah dengan tidak semua konselor dapat mengikuti kegiatan MGBK dikarenakan jarak yang cukup jauh antar kecamatan di Banyuwangi.  Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah pelatihan Training Of Trainer (TOT) untuk MGBK SMA di Kabupaten Banyuwangi. TOT diselenggarakan dengan mengundang sejumlah konselor berbasis kluster wilayah untuk dilatihkan teknik bimbingan kelompok secara intens. Berdasarkan angket evaluasi yang diberikan kepada peserta pelatihan, memberikan penilaian diri 37% memberikan penalian 7 dan 8 atas kemampuan diri dalam penguasaan pengembangan program. 44, 4% memberikan penilaian 8 atas kemampuan pengembangan perangkat. Berdasarkan 27 peserta yang memberikan tanggapan pada angket evaluasi, secara keseluruhan akan mengaplikasikan teknik – teknik bimbingan kelompok yang telah diajarkan dengan persentase terbesar adalah permainan kelompok sebesar 59,3 persen.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of a prototype utilizing direct messaging (Instagram) to enhance self-disclosure among students at SMKN 7 Malang. Self-disclosure is crucial for adolescents, and social media plays a significant role in enhancing self-disclosure and in the field of education, including learning processes and information dissemination. However, social media can also have negative impacts such as addiction and new digital brain behaviors. Schools need to provide quality guidance and counseling services to students to effectively enhance self-disclosure. The approach used in guidance and counseling should emphasize efforts to build quality interpersonal relationships and focus on empowering students to understand the importance of enhancing selfdisclosure. Guidance and counseling services in schools play an essential role as a platform for students to express their feelings and receive professional help. Through counseling services, students can obtain a safe and comfortable space to express concerns, obstacles, or feelings that are difficult to share with others. Counselors will help students develop self-disclosure, thereby allowing them to have self-awareness, make appropriate decisions, and build effective coping strategies. Abstract

Instructional media serve as a means of communication in print or audiovisual form. This has also been evidenced in the results of interviews and observations conducted by the researchers, which show that students feel bored and appear passive when learning using PowerPoint presentations or lectures. Hence, one of the solutions offered by the researchers is to use game media. One of the games that can be used as a medium to train critical thinking is the Mafia game. This research aims to develop a prototype medium by modifying the Mafia game to enhance students' critical thinking, making the teaching and learning process both beneficial and enjoyable. This research is a development study employing the Research and Development (R&D) method. The process of creating the Mafia game media involves several stages of research and development following the Borg & Gall (1983) model. The research began with a needs analysis of the instructional media used by teachers. In the planning stage, activities included compiling materials and designing game cards. In the product development stage, the researchers printed a total of 30 game cards (4 Mafia, 3 Doctor, and 23 Citizen). Future recommendations from this research and development include testing the product's accessibility with potential users.

Abstract

Background: Kesehatan mental menjadi fokus dalam penguatan sumber daya manusia. Upaya menjaga kesehatan mental menjadi fokus dalam berbagai lini saat ini, termasuk pendidikan. Peran seluruh civitas akademika di sekolah menjadikan PIK-R sebagai konselor sebaya untuk dapat berkontribusi dalam mencapaian tujuan ini. Sayangnya, perlu adanya peningkatan kapabilitas konselor sebaya dalam menangani masalah kesehatan mental dengan keterampilan dasar membantu. Dukungan psikologis melalui psychological  first aid  (PFA) sangat dibutuhkan sebagai pertolongan pertama bagi rekan sebaya yang mengalami masalah traumatis atau krisis. Metode: pelatihan PFA dilakukan dengan persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi terhadap 15 siswa PIK-R SMA N 1 Kepanjen Malang. Kegiatan inti pelaksanaan pelatihan menggunakan model structure learning approach (SLA). Hasil: terdapat perubahan yang signifikan dari hasil pretest-posttest yang didapatkan dari uji wilxocon dengan signifikasi sebesar 0.001.  Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan PFA berhasil memperkuat kapabilitas peran konselor sebaya dalam menangani masalah kesehatan mental.

Abstract

Preparing for a future career is an important task for adolescents. Technological changes and the pandemic have made many adolescents experience career indecision. Career planning based on local wisdom values is intended to assist adolescents in making appropriate career decisions. This research uses the narrative review method by searching literature from 2014 to 2022 from sources ScienceDirect, SagePub, and Google Scholar. The results of the analysis show that there are local wisdom values that can be integrated into adolescent career planning such as religious, responsibility, hard work/ tenacity, and self-understanding.
