Abstract

Pelatihan ini dilakukan untuk memabntu guru BK SMA Kabupaten Ponorogo dalam meningkatkan Kompetensi sebagai konselor melalui pelatihan konseling naratif. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan menggunakan tahapan SLA (Structure Learning Approach) yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan yakni instruksi, modelling, role playing, balikan ,dan pemberian tugas. Hasilnya dapat dilihat dai perubahan rata-rata pretest-posttes yang dilaksanakan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 3.01 point.  Saran untuk pelatihan selanjutnya dapat dikembangkan dalam bantuan layanan konseling naratif secara offline.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah konformitas teman sebaya dan kontrol diri berpengaruh terhadap pengambilan keputusan karir siswa. Pendekatan kuantitatif desain korelasional. Populasi penelitian yakni 80 siswa kelas XII MA Bilingual Batu. Penentuan sampel ditentukan dengan teknik sampling jenuh yang menjadikan seluruh populasi sebagai sampel penelitian karena jumlah yang tidak lebih dari 100 siswa. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan skala pengambilan keputusan karir berdasarkan teori Parson, skala konformitas teman sebaya berdasarkan teori Wiggins, serta skala kontrol diri berdasarkan teori Averill. Uji asumsi menggunakan uji normalitas, linearitas, multikolinearitas, dan heteroskedastisitas. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana dan analisis regresi berganda yang dibantu dengan aplikasi SPSS 26 for windows. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai sig. 0,168 0,05 pada analisis regresi berganda atau dapat dikatakan bahwa konformitas teman sebaya dan kontrol diri secara bersamaan (simultan) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengambilan keputusan karir siswa kelas XII MA  Bilingual Batu.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral group counseling with self-talk techniques to reduce anxiety in final-semester students. This research is included in quantitative research with experimental methods, and the research design used is one group pretest and posttest design. The research population is 2018 class students at Universitas Negeri Malang who are completing their thesis. We are taking research subjects using a purposive sampling technique. The subjects in this study were five students with high anxiety levels. Cognitive behavioral group counseling with self-talk techniques was carried out in seven sessions: one pre-counseling session, five counseling sessions, and one post-counseling session. We developed an anxiety scale instrument based on Nolen's theory. Based on the pretest and posttest results, it is known that cognitive-behavioral group counseling with self-talk techniques effectively reduces final semester student anxiety in completing thesis. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan konseling kelompok cognitive behavioral dengan teknik self-talk untuk mengurangi kecemasan mahasiswa semester akhir. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest and posttest design. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa angkatan 2018 Universitas Negeri Malang yang sedang menyelesaikan skripsi. Pengambilan subjek penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah lima mahasiswa yang memiliki tingkat kecemasan tinggi. Konseling kelompok kognitif behavioral dengan teknik self-talk dilakukan sebanyak tujuh sesi yaitu, satu sesi pra konseling, lima sesi konseling, dan satu sesi pasca konseling. Pengembangan instrumen skala kecemasan berdasarkan teori Nolen. Berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest diketahui bahwa konseling kelompok kognitif behavioral dengan teknik self-talk efektif untuk mengurangi kecemasan mahasiswa semester akhir dalam penyelesaian skripsi.

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the effect of the solution focused brief group counseling approach on academic procrastination. This quantitative research using quasi-experimental research design. The research design used was a pretest-posttest with a control group design. The research population is all public junior high school 6 Malang eighth-grade students in the 2021/2022 academic year. The research sample was obtained through a purposive sampling of 8 students and divided into experimental and control groups. The research instrument used is the Academic Procrastination Scale. Data analysis was used to test the differences in academic procrastination before and after being given short, solution-focused counseling, namely the Mann-Whitney Test. The results of the data analysis show that the significance value is 0.02 less than 0.05, meaning that the research hypothesis is accepted. So short group counseling focused on solutions significantly reduces academic procrastination in eighth-grade students. The results of the research can be used as an alternative to help solve student problems in counseling services, especially related to reducing academic procrastination. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pendekatan konseling kelompok ringkas berfokus solusi terhadap prokrastinasi akademik. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian quasi experiment. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest with control group design. Populasi penelitian seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Malang pada tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Sampel penelitian diperoleh melalui teknik purposive sampling yang terdiri dari 8 siswa dan dibagi ke dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah skala prokrastinasi akademik. Analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji perbedaan prokrastinasi akademik sebelum dan sesudah diberikan konseling ringkas berfokus solusi yaitu Mann-Whitney Test. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi 0,02 kurang dari 0,05, artinya hipotesis penelitian diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa konseling kelompok ringkas berfokus solusi berpengaruh secara signifikan untuk menurunkan prokrastinasi akademik siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Malang. Hasil penelitian dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai alternatif bantuan penyelesaian masalah siswa dalam layanan konseling khususnya terkait reduksi prokrastinasi akademik.

Abstract

Abstract: Pre-marital guidance in the Bride and Groom Course is considered not effective in preparing prospective brides, as evidenced by the high number of divorce cases. An innovative breakthrough is needed in helping the prospective bride and groom to be ready and mature to build a household. This study aims to produce a model of pre-marital guidance based on cyber education. The research design adapts the procedural model including determining the problem, planning, designing a product prototype, testing and revising the product. The research subjects were 280 students from universities in the Java region. The test subjects consisted of 2 material experts and 1 learning resource developer expert. The instrument is in the form of a questionnaire for pre-marital guidance material needs as well as a product assessment format. The development of producing pre-marital guidance model products, manifested in the form of Handbooks, Material Books and multimedia, is used for online pre-marital guidance services, through the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) platform. The material expert's assessment resulted in an index of 0.9 in the manual and 1.0 in the material book. Meanwhile, product evaluation by expert learning resource developers averaged 3.8 in the manual format and 3.85 in the pre-marital guidance multimedia. The Cyber ​​Education-based Pre-Marriage Guidance Model fulfills a very high level of acceptance. The pre-marital guidance model is theoretically acceptable through expert testing, so that it can be used in online pre-marital guidance services in tertiary institutions. Abstrak: Bimbingan pra nikah dalam Kursus Calon Pengantin, dinilai belum efektif dalam menyiapkan calon pengantin, dibuktikan masih tingginya kasus perceraian. Diperlukan terobosan inovatif dalam membantu calon pengantin agar siap dan matang membina rumah tangga. Penelitian bertujuan menghasilkan model bimbingan pra nikah berbasis cyber education. Desain penelitian mengadaptasi model prosedural meliputi menentukan masalah, merencanakan, mendesain prototype produk, menguji coba dan merevisi produk. Instrumen penelitian dalam bentuk format skala penilaian produk ahli materi dan ahli media. Pengembangan menghasilkan produk model bimbingan pra nikah, diwujudkan dalam bentuk Buku Pedoman, Buku Materi dan multimedia, digunakan untuk layanan bimbingan pra nikah secara daring, melalui platform Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni inter-rater agreement untuk menguji kesepakatan nilai akseptabilitas produk dari para ahli. Model Bimbingan Pra Nikah berbasis Cyber Education memenuhi tingkat keberterimaan yang sangat tinggi. Temuan penelitian menunjukan bahwa Model bimbingan pra nikah berterima secara teoritis sehingga dapat digunakan dalam layanan bimbingan pranikah di perguruan tinggi secara daring.

Abstract

Purpose: The need for diagnostic assessment in the independent curriculum necessitates school counselors to be able to provide valid and reliable instruments to assess students' conditions. One crucial aspect to consider is the psychological well-being of students. Therefore, training in developing non-cognitive diagnostic assessments is necessary to support counselor competencies in the era of independent learning curriculum. Method: The training utilized the ADDIE training model, starting from analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This model was employed to assist in implementing training tailored to the participant's needs. The evaluation was conducted through process evaluation and outcome evaluation. Practical Applications: The training resulted in the development of a psychological well-being scale by school counselors. Subsequently, the scale underwent construct validation by experts, as well as validity and reliability testing using SPSS 24. A guide for using the psychological well-being scale was then created, including rationale, usage instructions, interpretation guidelines, and sample assessment result presentations. Conclusion: The training successfully enhanced counselor competencies in developing non-cognitive diagnostic assessments.

Abstract

Prokastinasi akademik yang terjadi di kalangan siswa SMA mengalami peningkatan seiring berlalunya pandemic Covid-19 dan meningkatnya perkembangan teknologi dan media sosial. Siswa lebih memilih menunda mengerjakan tugas dan mengalami kejenuhan dalam kegiatan belajar. Prokastinasi akademik menjadi masalah yang harus segera ditangani di sekolah, karena berdampak pada prestasi akademik siswa. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian yaitu untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru Bimbingan Konseling (BK) dalam melaksanakan konseling dengan pendekatan Suryomentaram, sehingga dapat  meningkatkan kualitas pelaksanaan konseling yang dilakukan Guru BK dalam membantu menyelesaikan masalah prokastinasi akademik siswa. Metode belajar melalui tindakan (learning by doing) menjadi alternatif yang akan membantu guru BK dalam mengembangkan keterampilan konseling dengan pendekatan Suryomentaram melalui penyampaian informasi dan implementasi konseling pada siswa yang mengalami prokastinasi akademik. Hasil pelaksanaan pengabdian adalah peningkatan pengetahuan guru BK dan peningkatan keterampilan guru BK di SMA dan SMK dalam melaksanakan proses konseling dengan menggunakan pandangan Suryomentaram dalam mengatasi prokastinasi akademik siswa. Kata kunci—Konseling Suryomentaram, Guru Bimbingan Konseling, Pendampingan Guru Abstract Academic procrastination that occurs among high school students has increased along with the passing of the Covid-19 pandemic and the increasing development of technology and social media. Students prefer to postpone doing assignments and experience boredom in learning activities. Academic procastination is a problem that must be addressed immediately in schools, because it has an impact on students’ academic achievement. The aim of the service activity is to increase the competency of Counseling Guidance (BK) teachers in carrying out counseling using the Suryomentaram approach, so that they can improve the quality of counseling carried out by BK teachers in helping to solve students’ academic procrastination problems. The learning by doing method is an alternative that will help guidance and counseling teachers in developing counseling skills using the Suryomentaram approach through conveying information and implementing counseling for students who experience academic procrastination. The results of the implementation of the service are an increase in the knowledge of guidance and counseling teachers and an increase in the skills of guidance and counseling teachers in high schools and vocational schools in carrying out the counseling process using Suryomentaram’s views in overcoming students' academic procrastination. Keywords—Suryomentaram Counseling, Teacher Guidance Counseling, Teacher Mentoring

Abstract

This study examines the significance of the paths: (1) from social support to career adaptability, (2) from work value to career adaptability, (3) from self-esteem to career adaptability, (4) from social support to career adaptability via self-esteem, and (5) from work value to career adaptability via self-esteem. A total of 265 students from the Faculty of Education Universitas Negeri Malang who participated in the Asistensi Mengajar (AM) Program were selected using a simple random sampling technique. Four instruments were used to collect data: the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (CAAS), the Work Value Inventory (WVI), the Self-Esteem Scale, and the Social Support Scale. The data were analysed using path analysis. The findings revealed that all paths have significance values below 0.05, indicating that all proposed paths are acceptable.  The analysis also shows that work value has a direct effect on self-esteem, with a coefficient of 0.160, while social support exhibits a more substantial direct effect on self-esteem, with a coefficient of 0.412. Self-esteem directly influences career adaptability with a coefficient of 0.435. Indirectly, work value impacts career adaptability via self-esteem with a coefficient of 0.070, and social support influences career adaptability via self-esteem with a coefficient of 0.179. The total effects of work value and social support on career adaptability via self-esteem were calculated to be 0.230 and 0.591, respectively. These results suggest that social support has a more pronounced total effect on career adaptability compared to work value, primarily due to its stronger direct effect on self-esteem. The study underscores the critical role of self-esteem as a mediator in enhancing career adaptability through social support and work values.

Abstract

Peningkatan kualitas layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling dengan keberagaman budaya, menjadi tantangan tersendiri. Peningkatan kompetensi konselor sekolah yang diselenggarakan secara berkala oleh Musyawarah Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (MGBK) tidak cukup memfasilitasi permasalahan yang dialami oleh konselor di sekolah. Hal tersebut, diperparah dengan tidak semua konselor dapat mengikuti kegiatan MGBK dikarenakan jarak yang cukup jauh antar kecamatan di Banyuwangi.  Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah pelatihan Training Of Trainer (TOT) untuk MGBK SMA di Kabupaten Banyuwangi. TOT diselenggarakan dengan mengundang sejumlah konselor berbasis kluster wilayah untuk dilatihkan teknik bimbingan kelompok secara intens. Berdasarkan angket evaluasi yang diberikan kepada peserta pelatihan, memberikan penilaian diri 37% memberikan penalian 7 dan 8 atas kemampuan diri dalam penguasaan pengembangan program. 44, 4% memberikan penilaian 8 atas kemampuan pengembangan perangkat. Berdasarkan 27 peserta yang memberikan tanggapan pada angket evaluasi, secara keseluruhan akan mengaplikasikan teknik – teknik bimbingan kelompok yang telah diajarkan dengan persentase terbesar adalah permainan kelompok sebesar 59,3 persen.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of a prototype utilizing direct messaging (Instagram) to enhance self-disclosure among students at SMKN 7 Malang. Self-disclosure is crucial for adolescents, and social media plays a significant role in enhancing self-disclosure and in the field of education, including learning processes and information dissemination. However, social media can also have negative impacts such as addiction and new digital brain behaviors. Schools need to provide quality guidance and counseling services to students to effectively enhance self-disclosure. The approach used in guidance and counseling should emphasize efforts to build quality interpersonal relationships and focus on empowering students to understand the importance of enhancing selfdisclosure. Guidance and counseling services in schools play an essential role as a platform for students to express their feelings and receive professional help. Through counseling services, students can obtain a safe and comfortable space to express concerns, obstacles, or feelings that are difficult to share with others. Counselors will help students develop self-disclosure, thereby allowing them to have self-awareness, make appropriate decisions, and build effective coping strategies.
