Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Mahasiswa (LKM) berbasis project pada matakuliah Evaluasi Hasil Belajar Geografi dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Selain itu, juga bertujuan untuk: (1) meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada matakuliah evaluasi hasil belajar geografi TA 2017/2018, dan (2) mendeskripsikan respon mahasiswa TA 2017/2018 terhadap LKM yang telah dikembangkan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket, tes dan lembar v­alidasi. Angket digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data respon mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan LKM di kelas A Reguler TA 2016/2017, tes digunakan untuk menilai hasil belajar mahasiswa melalui penggunaan LKS berbasis project, dan lembar validasi untuk mengukur kelayakan LKM yang dikembangkan. Validasi LKM dilakukan oleh 2 orang validator materi dan media. Indikator penilaian kelayakan LKM berupa kelayakan isi atau materi, kebahasaan, kegrafisan dan penyajian. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) LKM berbasis project sangat layak digunakan (2) hasil belajar mahasiswa kelas A Reguler TA 2017/2018 mengalami peningkatan jika dibandingkan dari ketiga nilai pre-test, mid semester dan post-test, namun hasil belajar secara keseluruhan masih perlu ditingkatkan dimana dari 26 mahasiswa, hanya 15 mahasiswa yang mendapat nilai di atas KKM, (3) respon mahasiswa terhadap LKM berbasis project cukup baik. Kata kunci : Pengembangan, LKM, ADDIE, Project The purpose of this study was to develop student worksheets (MFIs) in order to evaluate project-based Geography Learning using the ADDIE development model in the academic year 2017/2018. In addition, it also aims to: (1) improve student learning outcomes in the course of evaluating geography learning outcomes in Regular Class A 2017/2018 school year, and (2) describe students' responses to the developed student worksheets. Data collection was carried out with questionnaires, tests and validation sheets. The questionnaire is used to assess the student responses to the use of the worksheet, the test is used to assess student learning outcomes through the use of project-based worksheets, and validation sheets for feasibility of project-based student worksheets. Assessment of the feasibility of student worksheets is carried out by 2 material and media validators. Indicators evaluate the appropriateness of student worksheets in the form of content or material feasibility, linguistics, graphics and presentations. Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results showed that (1) project-based student worksheets were very feasible to use %, (2) the learning outcomes of Regular Class A students in the academic year 2017/2018 had increased compared to the pre-test, semester semesters and post-test , but still not significant, where out of 26 students, only 15 students scored more than 80 Minimum Completeness Criteria - KKM, (3) student responses to project-based student worksheets were good.Key words: Development, LKM, ADDIE, Project

Abstract

ABSTRAK            Tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah  menghasilkan  bahan  ajar  untuk  matakuliah   Biogeografi yang layak digunakan  oleh  mahasiswa  di kelas B reguler angkatan  2016/2017.  Tujuan lain  yang  ingin  dicapai melalui penelitian ini mendiskripsikan respon mahasiswa kelas B Reguler TA 2016/2017 terhadap bahan ajar berbasis konstruktivis  yang dikembangkan.  Metode pengembangan bahan  ajar  ini  mengacu  pada  kerangka  pikir  Thiagarajan  dan  Semmel  &Semmel. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dengan indikator penilaian kelayakan berupa kelayakan isi atau materi, kebahasaan, kegrafisan dan penyajian. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) bahan ajar yang dikembangkan sudah layak untuk digunakan. Sesuai dengan hasil validasi kedua validator berkisar antara 97.19 dan 98.75 (2) respon mahasiswa mengenai bahan ajar ini tergolong bagus. 64% mahasiswa menyatakan sangat setuju bahwa buku ini berguna bagi mereka, dan 36 % menyatakan setuju. 91 % mahasiswa menyatakan bahwa penggunaan bahasa dalam bahan ajar ini sangat jelas dan mudah dipahami. Selanjutnya, 73% mahasiswa menyatakan bahwa  pertanyaan yang diajukan di dalam bahan ajar ini juga sudah jelas serta isi pembelajaran sudah sesuai dengan harapan mereka. Pendapat ahli dan respon mahasiswa beberapa hal yang perlu diperbaiki ialah desain buku serta tata gambar, tabel dan diagram.Kata Kunci : bahan ajar, konstruktivis, biogeografiABSTRACTThe main objective of this research is to produce teaching materials for courses eligible Biogeography used by students in class B 2016/2017 regular forces. Another goal to be achieved through this study to describe the response of students of class B Regular TA 2016/2017 of constructivist-based teaching materials developed. The development of teaching materials refers to the framework Thiagarajan and Semmel & Semmel. The data was collected through a questionnaire with a feasibility assessment indicators qualifying the content, language, kegrafisan and presentation. The data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative.The results showed that (1) the material developed is feasible to be used. In accordance with the validator validation results ranged from 97.19 and 98.75 (2) The student's response is quite good material. 64% of students stated strongly agree that this book is useful for them, and 36% agree. 91% of students stated that the use of language in teaching materials is very clear and easy to understand. Furthermore, 73% of students said that the questions asked in these materials was also clear and the learning content is suitable to their expectations. Expert opinion and the response of the students are some things that need to be corrected is the design and layout of images, tables and diagrams.Keywords: Learning Material, Constructivist, Biogeography

Abstract

The development of Industrial Revolution 4.0 has implications for all areas, including education. One of the emerging indicators is the application of the independent learning curriculum. Every human being has the right to learn wherever and whenever this is in accordance with the conceptual application of the curriculum. This research aims to develop an integrated social science learning model between faculties/universities that will be used to succeed in the independent learning curriculum at the Faculty of Social Sciences of Medan State University (FIS Unimed). The research is research and development in the field of education that uses data collection techniques using documentation studies, interviews, and workshops, the data sources used are lecturers and students of FIS Unimed. The research stage refers to the R&D research stage (Gall, Borg, & Gall,) [5], the stages performed include: 1) Research Planning 2) Subject Determination Model 3) Preparing Learning Tools for Model 4 Courses)) Input Course Content into LMS 5) Testing (simulation) and evaluation of Content 6) Follow-up improvements 7) Dissemination. The results of the analysis show that the development of model courses as part of the integrated social science learning model across faculties/universities in preparation for independent learning in FIS Unimed based on 4 criteria for learning models, namely 1)field-based learning in the Anthropology education Study Program 2) practice-based learning in the Geography Education Study Program 3) seminar-based learning in the Historical Education Study Program and 4) attitude-based learning in the Civic Education Study Program is very practical. The average practicality score of this model is based on students 'and lecturers' responses was 85, which categorized as very practical. Thus, the learning model course that has been developed will be used as a prototype for other courses at FIS Unimed in the framework of implementing the curriculum for independent learning in the future.

Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini secara umum bertujuan untuk Standarisasi Produk “Industri Olahan Rumah Tangga Manisan”pada Kelompok Usaha Peningkatan Pendapatan Keluarga Sejahtera (UPPKS) Kasih Ibu Kampung KB Kelurahan Limau Sundai Binjai.PKM ini memiliki target khusus dan luaran. Target khusus dan luaran yang akan dihasilkan berupa satu artikel yang dipublikasikan melalui jurnal BerISSN online, prosiding dari seminar nasional berISBN online, publikasi pada media massa cetak/online/repocitory Perguruan Tinggi, peningkatan daya saing. Mitra dalam PKM ini adalah “Putri Ranjani Manisan” dan “Juliani Manisan”.  Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh anggota mitra pengelola manisan yaitu desain produk kemasan yang kurang menarik, proses sertifikasi halal produk, alternatif pemasaran dan penyusunan laporan keuangan. Produk yang dihasilkan tidak mampu bersaing dengan produk sejenis yang dipasarkan di pasar modern sehingga hanya dipasarkan di warung-warung desa dan pasar tradisional dikarenakan tidak memiliki desain kemasan yang menarik dan sertifikat halal.Halini tentu menghambat peningkatan pendapatan mitra. Sehubungan dengan permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra, maka pada program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini akan diwujudkan standarisasi dan sertifikasi halal produk dari LPPOM MUI, desain kemasan yang menarik, pelatihan pembukuan dan pemasaran secara online. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah metode pendidikan, sosialisasi, pendampingan standarisasi produk, pelatihan pembukuan dan manajemen usaha, pelatihan pemasaran secara online. Tingkat keberhasilan dari kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat dana BOPTN ini akan terukur dari dihasilkannya : 1) Desain Kemasan yang menarik yang memiliki logo halal, 2) Sertifikat Halal dari LPPOM MUI dan  3) Laporan Keuangan serta 4) Akun Toko Online.

Abstract

This Community Partnership Program (PKM) generally aims to assist Business Groups in making Serundeng Kepah as a typical Tanjungbalai dish in making this product utilizing marine food or natural resources in Tanjungbalai City. Partners in this PKM are Business Groups in Pantai Burung Village, South Tanjungbalai District, Tanjungbalai City. The problem faced by partner members is the lack of knowledge in managing and utilizing existing natural resources as a product of the Tanjungbalai food development business. The method used to achieve the objectives of this service activity is the method of education, socialization, assistance in product manufacture, and business management on products that have been produced. The results of the activities, an increase in the quality of human resources in knowledge in the management and utilization of local natural resources and business management; Serundeng Kepah Products as Tanjungbalai Specialty Food; and Logo Making, Packaging design and product IPR.

Abstract

Pembelajaran case method dan team-based merupakan salah satu Indikator Kinerja Utama (IKU) yang diterapkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia nomor 3/M/2021. Pembalajaran case method dan team-based adalah pembelajaran yang dibebankan kepada mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis (critical thinking) mahasiswa, memecahkan masalah, mencari solusi, dan menumbuhkan kemampuan berkomunikasi. Pembelajaran ini juga bermanfaat untuk dosen sebagai tenaga pengajar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan yang lebih tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat ketercapaian penerapan case method dan team-based project dalam pembelajaran berdasarkan kebijakan Jurusan. Penelitian ini menggunakan merupakan penelitian pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Geografi angkatan 2020-2022 berjumlah 454 dan sampe penelitian sebenyak 215 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner (angket) yang disebarkan kepada mahasiswa melalui google form. Hasil penelitian yaitu implementasi case method dan team-based di Jurusan Pendidikan Geografi masih belum berjalan secara maksimal, hal ini dikarenakan beberapa faktor yaitu kurangnya pemahaman mahasiswa dalam tujuan penerapan penugasan case method dan team-based, langkah-langkah penugasan case method dan team-based yang dilampirkan dalam Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS) masih belum jelas, dan kurangnya partisipasi mahasiswa dalam penugasan case method dan team-based.  Kebijakan Jurusan dalam penerapan case mmethod dan team-based project masih belum efektif dikarenakan mahasiswa masih belum mengetahui tujuan dan manfaat dalam penerapan case method dan team-based project.

Abstract

Mangrove restoration is an effort to restore degraded mangrove ecosystems with the aim of increasing environmental sustainability, biodiversity conservation and providing social and economic benefits for the community. This research aims to determine the extent to which mangrove restoration can influence the socio-economic life of the community in Batu Panjang Village, Bengkalis Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by systematically analyzing and processing data based on the results of observations and interviews with farmer groups, village officials and stakeholders in Batu Panjang Village. The results of this research show that restoration activities provide (1) a positive impact on increasing community knowledge and understanding regarding the function and role of mangroves in coastal area conservation efforts, (2) community empowerment has been carried out by forming a farmer group, namely the Jeram Batu Panjang (JBP) group and the STYA group which plays a role from the land clearing stage, to the planting stage, (3) but has not yet provided/shown a significant impact in increasing income which will affect the social and economic conditions of the community in Batu Panjang Village, Rupat District. This is shown by the research results that the income earned by the community from mangrove restoration activities from the land clearing stage to the planting stage is only around IDR 475,000 on average, still far below the Bengkalis Regency Minimum Wage of IDR 3,599,029.72.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Digital Literacy Skills Students of Geography Education Department, Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Negeri Medan. The data collection techniques used were tests and questionnaires as well as direct observation of respondents' social media accounts, then analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results showed that: Overall, the digital literacy skills of Geography Education Department students are classified as good with an average score (70.58) and percentage score (63.58%). When viewed according to its aspects, the knowledge aspect is classified as good with an average score (8.39) and percentage score (64.58%), the attitude aspect is classified as very good with an average score (42.83) and percentage score (85.67%), but the skill aspect is less with an average score (19.35) and percentage score (40.31%). The digital literacy ability of men with an average score (70.71) and percentage score (63.71%) was higher but not significantly different from women who had an average score (70.51) and percentage score (63.52%). Most students of Geography Education Department are not very active in using social media (84.06%) and their uploads are more personal content (30.57%) than work content (4.26%).

Abstract

Revolution 4.0 equips educators with the knowledge, abilities and skills to teach students effectively by using technological resources such as educational media such as Canva, Kahoot, Quiziz, and other platforms. Students by utilizing technological resources such as educational media such as Canva, Kahoot, Quiziz , and other platforms . The aim of this research study is to understand the theoretical problems or problems that teachers encounter when using learning media in Medan City High Schools. This is to understand the basic problems or problems that teachers encounter when using teaching media in Medan City High Schools. One of the research methods used in this research is the descriptive qualitative research method. This research is descriptive research with qualitative methods. The techniques used are documentation, observation and interviews. Research findings show that research shows that there are problems with the teaching methods used in high schools in Medan, including inconsistent use of teaching media and problems with the use of teaching media in these schools.There are problems with the teaching methods used in high schools in Medan.
