Abstract

Produk pembiayaan Ar-Rum pada Pegadaian Syariah dirancang untuk membantu pemilik usaha kecil dan mikro mengembangkan usahanya dengan sistem angsuran yang menggunakan jaminan BPKB motor atau mobil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak pembiayaan Ar-Rum terhadap pertumbuhan usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah di Pegadaian Syariah cabang Ngabul Jepara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembiayaan Ar-Rum memberikan kemudahan dan kecepatan dalam proses pengajuan dan pencairan dana, serta pendampingan dan edukasi kepada nasabah. Jumlah nasabah Ar-Rum yang terus meningkat setiap tahun menunjukkan minat yang tinggi dari UMKM terhadap produk ini. Pegadaian Syariah membantu UMKM mengatasi keterbatasan modal, memungkinkan mereka untuk mengembangkan usaha dan meningkatkan pendapatan, serta memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the dynamics and implications of the Pesantren Law Number 18 of 2019 on the life of Pesantren in Indonesia. This law is considered a form of state recognition of the existence of Pesantren, but it has also triggered a polemic regarding the politicization of Pesantren. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, exploring in-depth related issues. The main data sources are trusted online news and related official documents. The research results show that the Pesantren Law is an effort for state recognition, but also opens up opportunities for excessive intervention. Various parties have various views regarding the implementation of this law. This research contributes a theoretical understanding of the dynamics of the relationship between the state and Pesantrens, as well as its implications for public policy, Islamic politics, and the sociology of religion. Practically, the results of this research can provide input for the government, Pesantren institutions, and other stakeholders in responding to the implementation of the Pesantren Law.

Abstract

The Timber Legality Verification System (SVLK) is one of the emerging government initiatives to tackle illegal logging and promote legal timber in Indonesia to International Country. The system aims to ensure that timber and wood products produced in Indonesia come from verifiable legal sources. SVLK is implemented through certification mechanism by independent party (Wood Legality Verification Institution / LVLK) which has been accredited by National Accreditation Committee. The purpose of this study is to find out how the influence of the implementation of government rules on the obligation to have SVLK against companies that export wooden furniture products in Jepara. This study will use 30 companies engaged in the export of Wood Furniture to foreign countries who entered as members of the Indonesian Furniture and Handicraft Association (HIMKI) Jepara Raya, Central Java. The results of this study will be forwarded to stakeholders related to SVLK implementation obligations in the furniture industry,whether the policy has a positive or negative impact on furniture industry exports in Jepara This research is descriptive and qualitative. Data collection methods were conducted using field research with interviews and some questioner to obtain primary and secondary data, observation, and literature.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Sharia Supervisory Board ( DPS ) in assessing the conformity of savings products at KSPPS Artha Makmur Jaya with sharia principles. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with DPS members, KSPPS BMT management, and other related parties, and supplemented with secondary data from relevant documentation and literature. The results of the study indicate that DPS has a significant role in ensuring the sharia conformity of savings products, with active involvement in the design, evaluation, and monitoring processes of the products. Despite facing challenges such as limited resources and differences in interpretation of sharia principles, DPS has succeeded in carrying out its duties through increased cooperation and a collegial approach in decision-making. The existence of DPS has been proven to increase sharia compliance and member trust in KSPPS Artha Makmur Jaya. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of strengthening the capacity and coordination of DPS to support the development of sustainable sharia finance at KSPPS. K

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran penting Knowledge Management dalam peningkatan pelayanan di KSPPS Artha Yasmin Az-Zahra Jepara, dan untuk menganalisis permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam keterbatasan pengetahuan serta banyaknya aturan yang telah ditetapkan. Dengan desain penelitian kualitatif deskriptif penelitian ini dilakukan, kemudian sumber data primer dan sekunder merupakan teknik dalam mengumpulkan. Knowledge Management sangat penting bagi karyawan, Dalam hal ini mendorong koperasi untuk mengikuti perkembangan teknologi dan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Komunikasi yang efektif dan pelatihan rutin sangat diperlukan untuk membangun pengetahuan yang kuat di antara karyawan, serta tantangan utama dalam Knowledge Management adalah dari internal, yaitu motivasi karyawan dan sifat manusia yang mudah lupa, sehingga diperlukan strategi yang tepat untuk mengatasinya. Implikasi kebijakan yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan pengembangan program pelatihan berkelanjutan, motivasi dan insentif untuk karyawan, penguatan sistem Knowledge Management, komunikasi dan kolaborasi tim yang efektif, peningkatan literasi digital, serta pembuatan dokumen dan notulen rutin.

Abstract

Islamic financial institutions, such as Islamic banks and non-bank financial institutions adhering to Sharia principles, play a crucial role in providing financial solutions that comply with Islamic guidelines. This research aims to understand the role of Islamic financial institutions in enhancing the economy through working capital financing for SMEs in Jepara. This study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing interviews and documentation for data collection. The data analysis technique used is the interactive analysis model. The results of this research conclude that there are three significant roles of Islamic Financial Institutions in boosting the economy through working capital financing for SMEs in Jepara: 1) Providing halal and interest-free working capital, 2) Enhancing the capacity and competence of SMEs, and 3) Promoting local economic development and job creation.

Abstract

Islamic banking has developed into an important part of the world's financial system, especially in Indonesia, which is one of the most populous Muslim countries in the world.. The existence and role of banking in Indonesia, both for society and for large, medium, and small industries, have a significant impact. This is caused by the high demand for banking services, whether for capital strengthening or fund storage, which has become an essential part of daily life. This study aims to analyze the role and contribution of Islamic banking to Indonesia's economy through a historical perspective. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the research examines the development of Islamic banking since the establishment of Bank Muamalat in 1992 to the present. The findings reveal that Islamic banking makes an important contribution in supporting the national economy, particularly through Sharia-based financing focused on empowering micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). However, Islamic banking faces significant challenges, such as low Islamic financial literacy, limited product innovation, and competition with conventional banking. To address these obstacles, strategic measures are required, including strengthening regulations, enhancing Islamic financial literacy education, and leveraging digital technology to expand access to financial services. These findings emphasize that collaboration among the government, society, and industry players is essential to strengthen the role of Islamic banking as a driver of equitable and sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

Islamic Financial Institutions are institutions that have a large role in the growth of the country, but in reality the interest in saving in Islamic Financial Institutions is still relatively low. This study aims to analyze the effect of promotion and service quality on interest in saving in Islamic Financial Institutions. The method used in this study is quantitative. The study was conducted at PT. SAMI-JF Jepara in June 2024 with 130 respondent samples. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to the research sample. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression techniques with the help of SPSS software. The results of the study show that partially the promotion variable affects the variable of interest in saving, partially the variable of service quality affects the variable of interest in saving and simultaneously the promotion variable and the variable of service quality affect the variable of interest in saving. This study has a role in formulating the right formula to increase interest in saving in Islamic Financial Institutions so that they are not less prestigious than Conventional Financial Institutions.

Abstract

Despite the enactment of legal restrictions on early marriage, the issue persists, particularly in rural areas of Central Java, where rates have increased. This study's main problem is the significant knowledge gap regarding how formal age-restriction policies are mediated and often undermined by deeply ingrained social and cultural norms at the community level. While previous studies have provided a broad overview of the impacts, they often lack a nuanced, micro-level understanding of the complex tensions between policy intentions and local realities. This research, therefore, provides a focused, qualitative analysis of the socio-economic dynamics of early marriage in a specific case study of rural Jepara, Indonesia. The study’s primary objectives were to analyze the social and economic impacts of the policy, identify community-level challenges, and offer actionable recommendations. A qualitative case study design involved in-depth interviews with 30 purposively selected informants, including adolescents, parents, community leaders, and government officials. The data, collected through interviews and observations, were analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal a compelling tension between the policy's aims and strong traditional norms, such as the stigma of delaying marriage. While the policy has positively influenced families to prioritize education and long-term economic welfare, social pressure has significantly hampered its effectiveness. This study's unique contribution lies in its in-depth exploration of this tension, providing a grounded basis for future policy and community interventions. The conclusion clarifies how these findings address the research objectives and offers concrete recommendations for a more holistic approach that combines legal measures with targeted, community-based support and dialogue.

Abstract

The community service program for UMKM Gethuk Frozen ‘Sri Gethuk’ in Watuaji Village, Keling District, Jepara Regency, was carried out through halal certification and packaging innovation as a strategy to strengthen the competitiveness of local products. This program was motivated by the limited access of the UMKM to modern markets due to the lack of halal certification and the use of simple packaging. The aim of the service is to enhance product legality, quality, and attractiveness through a participatory problem-solving approach. Implementation methods included field observation, halal certification socialization and education, guidance in document preparation, facilitation of certification by the service team, packaging design development, and monitoring and evaluation. Results indicate that with active facilitation, the UMKM successfully obtained halal certification, improved packaging quality to be more appealing and informative, and implemented better production standards. The program’s impact is evident in increased consumer trust, expanded market access, and improved internal capacity of the UMKM. Thus, this program successfully strengthens the competitiveness of local products and empowers the UMKM sustainably.
