Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this Community Service is to increase knowledge about making AI-based teaching modules and to produce complete teaching modules that are in accordance with the demands of the Merdeka curriculum. Research methodology: Community Service activities consist of preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The implementation of Community Service is carried out using lecture methods, interactive discussions, direct practice, assignments, and collection of teaching modules to increase teacher abilities and creativity. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire with the criteria of activities running very well to not well. Results: The implementation of Community Service is carried out using lecture methods, interactive discussions, direct practice, assignments, and collection of teaching modules to increase teacher skills and creativity. The products produced by teachers are complete and intact teaching modules that can be collected on the Google Drive link. This link can be accessed by the principal, teachers, and study programs as facilitators in mentoring sessions during assignments. Proof that teachers have completed the training is in the form of a 32 JP certificate that can be uploaded to the PMM account to add teaching points. Limitation: This training may be limited by the infrastructure and technology access conditions at SMPN 3 Sungai Kakap. For example, limited hardware such as computers, unstable internet, or limited access to more sophisticated AI devices can limit the effectiveness of the training. Abstract

Effective, interesting and enjoyable learning requires tools to support successful learning which are interrelated, namely teaching, learning activities and learning resources. Learning resources are a very important factor to support success in the learning process. The aim of this research is to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the angiosperm encyclopedia found in the school environment as a source of learning plant material for class X students at SMAN 4 Sungai Raya. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the 1974 Thiagarajan 4D research design (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). The data collection techniques used are measurement techniques and indirect communication techniques, instruments used include validation sheets, response questionnaires, and pretest posttest questions. The sample in the research used a Purposive Sampling technique, namely with a class X B population. The data analysis technique used was a test of validity, practicality and effectiveness. The validity results in this study were 88.38%, practicality 96.02%, the effectiveness obtained was an N-Gain value of 0.69 in the medium category.

Abstract

Learning models are techniques used to facilitate children in understanding the material delivered by the instructor. The learning model provided by the teacher to students ensures that their understanding aligns with the material and theme selected. This study aims to measure students' creativity and to determine significant differences in creativity levels between the experimental and control classes before and after applying the Project-Based Learning model and the Guided Discovery Learning model. This research employs an experimental method in the form of a quasi-experimental design. The design used is the nonequivalent control group design, which involves comparing subjects in the control group and the experimental group through pre-tests and post-tests. The results of the study show that students' creativity in the experimental class had an average pre-test score of 53.97, an average post-test score of 84.82, and an N-Gain result of 0.65, categorized as moderate. In the control class, students' creativity had an average pre-test score of 51.63, an average post-test score of 76.06, and an N-Gain result of 0.45, also categorized as moderate. There was a significant difference in students' creativity levels after learning with the Project-Based Learning model using a herbarium book on Pteridophyta material compared to the control group using the Guided Discovery Learning model through plant observation, with a 2-tailed significance value of 0.000 ≤ 0.005. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant difference in critical thinking skills of students taught with Guided inquiry learning model with students taught conventional learning model on virus material in class X SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak. The method used is quantitative with a pretest – posttest only group design experimental design. This research was conducted in class X SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak using simple random sampling technique with 2 class samples, namely class XA as the control class and XB as the experimental class. Data were obtained through pretest and posttest tests of students' critical thinking skills with essay questions. The data obtained was analyzed quantitatively by statistical tests. The results of the study showed critical thinking skills in the experimental class with the previous average score of 40.97 and afterwards 84.44. The critical thinking ability of conventional model students with an average score of 38.75 before and 60.13 afterwards. There is a significant difference in the Guided inquiry learning model on the critical thinking ability of grade X students of SMA Islam Bawari Pontianak.

Abstract

Bioteknologi mampu menjawab berbagai kebutuhan pangan melalui olahan makanan fermentasi. Pada perkuliahan bioteknologi telah dibahas mengenai teknink dan olahan ferementasi, namun pada saat evaluasi di dalam kelas, mahasiswa belum mampu menyebutkan secara benar apa saja variasi makanan dan minuman yang termaksud olahan fermentasi maka dari itu perlu adanya pendalaman materi berkaitan dengan bioteknologi, tidak hanya teori saja tapi melalui projek pembuatan makanan ferementasi sehingga mahasiswa memahami bagaiamana pembuatan produk fermentasi dengan benar. Model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk mendukung kegiatan belajar dan mengukur keterampilan kerja ilmiah salah satunya model pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengukur perbedaan hasil belajar dan keterampilan kerja ilmiah mahasiswa melalui pembuatan makan fermentasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperiment Design), dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan nilai uji t nilai sig (2-tailed) 0,77 > 0,05, sehingga dapat dikatakan tidak ada perbedaan yang sginifikan pada hasil belajar antara mahasiswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Sedangkan Nilai keterampilan kerja ilmiah mahasiswa pada kelas kontrol 81,92 dan kelas eksperimen 85 dengan kriteria sangat terampil.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan peningkatan keterampilan proses sains calon guru fisika setelah diterapkan pembelajaran inkuiri dan konvensional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan bentuk quasi eksperimen dan rancangan non-equivalent control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan keterampilan proses sains pada kelas yang diterapkan pembelajaran inkuiri adalah 38,09 sedangkan pada kelas yang diterapkan pembelajaran konvensional adalah 17,86. Hasil uji t independent sampel menunjukkan angka signifikansi yaitu 0,004 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Hal ini menandakan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima sehingga terdapat perbedaan peningkatan keterampilan proses sains calon guru fisika di kelas yang diterapkan pembelajaran inkuiri dan konvensional. N-Gain (g) pada kelas eksperimen adalah 0,65 dengan interpretasi sedang dan pada kelas kontrol adalah 0,27 dengan interpretasi rendah. Perbedaan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran inkuiri mampu meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains guru fisika.Inquiry Learning to Improve The Science Process Skills of The Pre-Service Physics TeachersThis study aims to determine the difference in the improvement of science process skills of physics teacher candidates after applied inquiry and conventional learning. This research uses the experimental method with quasi-experimental design and non-equivalent control group design. The results showed science process skills’ gain in the classroom applied inquiry learning is 38.09 while in the classroom applied conventional learning is 17.86. The result of the independent sample t-test shows that the significance is 0.004 less than 0.05. This indicates that H0 rejected and Ha accepted, so there is a difference in the improvement of science process skills of physics teachers in the classroom which is applied inquiry and conventional learning. N-Gain (g) in the experimental class is 0.65 with moderate interpretation and in the control class is 0.27 with low interpretation. The existence of such differences indicates that inquiry learning can improve the science physics teacher process skills.

Abstract

Education is all the knowledge learned throughout life in all places and situations that have a positive influence on the growth of each individual being that education takes place throughout life. The less than optimal learning outcomes of students are caused by the lack of student activity in the learning process, which is influenced by learning methods that are less interactive and effective. Biology learning materials that have not reached the Learning Objective Achievement Criteria (KKTP) are materials on the body's defense system. One of the innovations in Education is the use of the SSCS (Search, Solve, Create, Share) learning model. The method used is the Quasi Experimental Design method with a quantitative approach. The results of the study were the average Pretest in the experimental class, namely 50.31 after the SSCS (Search, Solve, Create, Share) learning model was applied, the Posttest value increased with an average value of 86.25. For the effectiveness value, the calculation results were 72.32 where 64.00 ≤ E ≤ 100% was declared effective. Based on the data analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the SSCS (Search, Solve, Create, Share) learning model can influence student learning outcomes and is effective for application in the learning process.

Abstract

Guru IPA di Kabupaten Mempawah menghadapi kendala dalam merancang LKPD yang menumbuhkan keterampilan abad ke-21 dan relevan dengan konteks lokal. Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi melaksanakan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat yang berfokus pada optimalisasi penyusunan LKPD berbasis model pembelajaran ReCLif bagi 15 guru IPA melalui pelatihan lima hari. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup ceramah, demonstrasi, diskusi, praktik terarah, penugasan penyusunan LKPD, serta sesi klinik berbasis umpan balik sejawat. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi guru, ditunjukkan oleh 60% peserta yang mampu menyusun kerangka LKPD secara mandiri pada tahap awal dan meningkat menjadi 73,3% guru yang menghasilkan draft LKPD layak setelah proses revisi. Uji coba awal LKPD di tiga sekolah mitra memperlihatkan respons positif siswa, peningkatan partisipasi bertanya, dan kemampuan mengaitkan konsep IPA dengan fenomena nyata. Selain itu, 86,7% guru menyatakan sangat puas terhadap praktik penyusunan LKPD dan 80% merasa terbantu oleh pendampingan fasilitator. Dengan demikian, kegiatan PKM ini terbukti meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mendesain LKPD berbasis ReCLif sekaligus memperkuat komunitas profesional MGMP. Namun, pendampingan lanjutan dan replikasi praktik masih diperlukan untuk memperluas dampak pembelajaran di daerah.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of various fertilizer types—NPK, organic, granulated, and block compost—on students’ environmental literacy within an environment-based horticulture learning context. The research aims to determine whether fertilizer-based practical activities contribute to measurable improvements in students’ environmental literacy. A quantitative approach was employed by comparing students’ environmental literacy levels before and after participating in horticultural practicum activities. Data were collected using standardized questionnaires and assessment instruments designed to evaluate environmental literacy. The improvement scores were analyzed using the N-Gain technique, and an independent sample t-test was conducted to assess the significance of the observed differences.The results show an average pre-practicum score of 55, which increased to 74 following the practicum. The independent sample t-test produced a significance value of 0.000, which is lower than 0.05. This indicates that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted, demonstrating that the fertilizer-based practicum had a significant impact on students’ environmental literacy. The findings suggest that integrating diverse fertilizer applications into horticulture learning can effectively enhance students’ environmental literacy. This supports the use of environment-based, hands-on learning strategies as a pedagogical approach for fostering environmental awareness and responsible behavior among students.
