Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of the analysis of students' understanding of mathematical concepts, and the indicators that are mastered and not yet mastered by students in terms of area and circumference of flat shapes for YouTube video media during the limited PTM period. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method with case study. The subjects in this study were students of class IVA at SDN Panularan No. 6 Surakarta in the academic year 2021/2022. The number of students as many as 28 people. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is analysis according to Miles and Huberman through 3 stages, including data reduction, data presentation, data verification/conclusion. The results showed that students' understanding of mathematical concepts on the area and perimeter of flat shapes using youtube video media in class IVA SDN Panularan No.06 Surakarta was generally in the medium category. In this study, 5 indicators of mathematical concept understanding were used, 3 indicators were categorized as medium, and 2 indicators were categorized as low. Indicators included in the moderate category include: restating the concepts learned, presenting concepts in mathematical form, developing the requirements of a concept by choosing procedures to be used in solving problems, while the 2 indicators are classifying objects according to certain properties based on mathematical concepts , and applying the concept in a problem is still low.

Abstract

The results of this study indicate that during the pandemic students' learning motivation decreases. If this is allowed to continue, it will have a negative impact on the future of Indonesian education. So it takes the role of the educator as a teacher and as a motivator in various ways so that it is expected to be able to increase student learning motivation. Based on the research that has been done and the explanations presented, it can be concluded that there are several roles played by the teacher in increasing the learning motivation of the students of SD Negeri Setono during the covid-19 pandemic, including 1) the teacher as a demonstrator, the teacher always studies and prepares material. 2) The educator as a class manager, the teacher creates a comfortable atmosphere and conducts active learning. 3) The teacher, as a mediator, the teacher chooses the learning media according to the student's learning needs. 4) teachers as facilitators, teachers understand and provide facilities to students. 5) the teacher as an evaluator, the educator evaluates by giving assignments, holding tests, and giving homework. 6) the teacher as a motivator, instils a sense of enthusiasm and also provides motivation in various ways .

Abstract

The goal of this research  is to improve the ability of students in class V of Karangasem I State Elementary School Surakarta in Academic Year 2019/2020 to find the main ideas by using Cooperative Script learning model. The form of research is classroom action research. Subjects in the study found teachers and 34 students. The phase carried out in this study consisted of 2 cycles. Data collection used in this research by interviewing, gathering ability tests to find main ideas and analyzing documents. The validiity of the data used is content validity, source triangulation, and technique triangulation. The data in this study consisted of qualitative data an quantitative data. Quantitative data analysis uses comparative descriptive analysis techniques, while qualitative data uses miles and huberman analysis models. The first cycle, obtained classical completeness 52,94% and increased in the second cycle as much as 82,35%. Based on the above data it can be denied that the Cooperative Script learning model can improve the ability of students to find the main ideas in grade V students of Karangasem I Elementary School Surakarta in the academic year 2019/2020.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: 1) to improve listening skill through the application of Directed Listening Thinking Activity strategy, and 2) to describe the result of application Directed Listening Thinking Activity strategy. This research is classroom action research with two cycles. The subject of this reseach were student of the 2nd student at State Primary School Pajang 2 no. 171 Surakarta in the 2019/2020 academic year, totalling 26 student. The research uses data collect technique in the form of interview, observation, analysis of documentation and test with data analysisof content validity, technical triangulation and source triangulation. The analysis of the data used is describe comparative analysis and the interactive analysis model of Miles-Huberman. The first cycle resulting in a percentage of 53,84% in classical, and the study continued with the second cycle with the percentage of 84,61% in classical terms. The conclude is the ability to solve skill listening on 2nd student at Primary School 2 Pajang 2 no. 171 Surakarta in the 2019/2020 academic year can be improved throught the Directed Listening Thinking Activity Strategy.

Abstract

Ganik Sita Nur Utami. K7119095. Dr. Riyadi, M.Si. Drs. Tri Budiharto, M.Pd. HUBUNGAN PENGELOLAAN KELAS DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA KELAS V SD NEGERI SEKECAMATAN LAWEYAN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2022/2023. Skripsi, Surakarta: Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan. Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta, Juli 2023.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara pengelolaan kelas dengan hasil belajar matematika kelas V SD Negeri Sekecamatan Laweyan Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik SD kelas V Kecamatan Laweyan tahun pelajaran 2022/2023, sedangkan sampel pada penelitian yaitu yaitu peserta didik SD kelas V SDN Karangasem II, SDN Karangasem IV, SDN Kleco I, dan SDN Tunggulsari II. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan Cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data atau instrumen menggunakan tes dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana, analisis korelasi sederhana, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara pengelolaan kelas dengan hasil belajar matematika kelas V SD Negeri Sekecamatan Laweyan Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023 dengan peirsamaan reigreisi Y ̂ = 21.622 + 0,735X. Koefisien korelasi r_xy= 0,321, dengan signifikansi thitung = 2,711 > ttabel = 1,669. Besar koefisien korelasi diinterpretasikan tergolong pada kategori yang rendah. Koefisien Determinasi diperoleh 0,103 artinya kontribusi pengelolaan kelas terhadap hasil belajar matematika sebesar 10,3%.

Abstract

Guru mempunyai peran penting dalam perkembangan kemampuan membaca siswa. Namun, banyak siswa yang memiliki kemampuan membaca kurang baik. Oleh karena itu, guru perlu melakukan upaya-upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa kelas I SDN Setono. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan guru, kepala sekolah, dan siswa, serta observasi tidak terstruktur. Analisis yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis kesalahan berbahasa Tarigan yang didukung dengan triangulasi sumber dan teknik keabsahan data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa guru terbukti mampu berperan sebagai demonstran, pengelola kelas, dan mediator dalam kemampuan membaca siswa kelas I dengan baik. Guru menjelaskan materi bacaan permulaan dengan jelas, mengelola kelas dengan suasana dan aturan yang cukup jelas, serta guru juga menggunakan media bacaan permulaan yang cukup bervariasi. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru telah berperan cukup baik melalui berbagai upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I.

Abstract

This purpose of this research was 1) know wheter there was a correlattion between the reading interest and the competency of reading comprehension; 2) knowing whether there was a correlattion between the diction mastery and the competency of reading comprehension; 3) knowing whether there was a correlation between both the reading interest and the diction mastery toghether with the competency of reading comprehension.The research was a quantitative survey correlational study. The population of this research was all the students of government elementary school at grade 4TH in kartasura for about 39 schools. The sample of this research was taken with simple random sampling technique.  Five elementary schools was used as the sample by taking the whole students of grade 4 of each government elementary school with the total amount of the students is 110 students.The data was collected through the test instrument in the form of objective choice for the variable of the competency of reading comprehension and also the diction mastery. It was also collected through the questionnaire for the variable of reading interest given to the students. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that there was a significant correlation between the reading interest and the competency of reading comprehension ry1 (0.60034), the coefficient of the correlation was tested with the t test, the result tcount (7.8011)> ttable (1.9822) showing a significant correlation between the diction mastery and the competency of reading comprehension ry2 (0.794),, the coefficient of the correlation was tested with the t test, the result tcount (13.5745)> ttable (1.982)showing a significant correlation  between both  the reading interest and the diction mastery with the competency of reading comprehension ry12 for about 0,815. The coefficient of significance with the F test obtained Fcount = 106.00131 real level á = 0.05, with df =107 obtained Ftable = 3.081 then Fcount > Ftable.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of rewards and ice breaking activities on the level of interest in learning mathematics among fifth-grade students in Laweyan, Surakarta. The research use quantitative method, specifically utilizing a quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design. Data for the study were gathered together through a pretest and posttest questionnaire to measure students’interest in learning mathematics. The sampling technique employed was cluster random sampling, ensuring that the sample is both effective and representative. The findings indicate that experimental group show a higher level of interest in learning compared to those in the control group. The hypothesis test results, with an Asymp. Sig value of , reject the null hypothesis () and confirm a significant impact of the intervention (), involving rewards and ice breaking, on interest in learning mathematics (). The test outcomes provide evidence of positive impact of offering rewards and engaging in ice breaking activities on the interest in learning mathematics among fifth-grade students.

Abstract

Learning media is an intermediary in learning to make it easier for teachers to convey material to students. This study aims to determine the process and results of developing e-flipbook based learning media through Canva that are valid and practical. This study uses the Research and Development (RnD) development research method through the Borg and Gall model modified by Sukmadinata which includes 3 stages, namely preliminary study, model development and model testing. This research is limited to the development stage. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. Research instruments in the form of observation, interviews, documentation studies, and questionnaires. The results of the research produced valid learning media because it obtained an assessment from material experts of 86.52% and an assessment of media experts of 85.5%. And produce learning media that is practical because it gets an assessment from students with a result of 95.66%. The theoretical implication of this research is that learning media is declared valid and can be used as a reference in further learning and research. The practical implication is that the media is presented in the form of an interesting digital book with the addition of quizzes, pictures, learning videos and evaluation questions.

Abstract. This research aims are: 1) to improve writing skills again through the application of cooperative learning in the type of think talk write, and 2) to describe the results of the application of cooperative learning in the type of think talk write. This research is a class action research with two cycles. The subjects of this study were 4th grade students at Karangasem III Elementary School Surakarta in the academic year 2019/2020, totaling 31 students. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, documentation analysis and tests with content validity data analysis, technical triangulation and source triangulation. Analysis of the data used is describing comparative analysis and Miles-Huberman interactive analysis models. The conclusion is that the writing skills of the 4th grade students at Karangasem III Elementary School in Surakarta in the academic year 2019/2020 can be improved through cooperative learning in the type of think talk write.
