This study aims to determine the quality of diagnostic test questions with regular straight motion material. This research is a descriptive study using a quantitative approach. In this research, Sujek was a class X student at Jagoi Babang 01 High School. The research instrument was in the form of question feasibility questionnaire addressed to the validator and the test used to test the characteristics of the questions including validity, reliability, level of difficulty and differentiating power of the questions and knowing the profile of students' conceptual understanding. The results of the study indicate that: (1) A total of 13 questions have very good assessment criteria by experts; (2) 9 questions are declared valid and 3 questions are invalid; (3) Reliability index of 0.81 with very strong criteria; (4) 11 questions have medium criteria and 1 problem is difficult keriteria; (5) criteria for distinguishing good as many as 4 questions, criteria are enough 6 questions and bad criteria 2 questions; (6) The percentage of students who understand the concept is 22.31%, misconceptions are 36.56% and do not understand the concept of 41.13%.

This Community Partnership Program (PKM) aims to increase knowledge and train teachers in creating and applying learning tools based on scientific approaches that contain the character and creating and applying contextual and innovative media/teaching aids in learning. The method of implementing PKM activities consists of socialization, seminars, training, mentoring, and implementation. Participants in PKM activities are science teachers at SMP and equivalent who are members of the MGMP IPA for SMP Kota Singkawang. The results of the activity show that the teachers are enthusiastic about participating in the series of activities carried out; the teachers are motivated to make science learning media and apply them in classroom learning. Teachers are motivated to create and apply learning models based on scientific approaches with character learning in the classroom.

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat (PPM) ini untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada guru sehingga keterampilan guru dalam merancang percobaan IPA berbasis inkuiri dapat ditingkatkan. Rancangan PPM yang digunakan adalah pendekatan pendekatan Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). Mitra pengabdian adalah guru-guru MGMP IPA Kecamatan Sanggau Ledo Kabupaten Bengkayang yang berjumlah 19 orang utusan dari 10 SMP/MTs Negeri maupun Swasta. Prosedur pelaksanaan melupiti tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan serta tahap evaluasi dan refleksi. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa para guru dapat merancangan alat percobaan IPA dan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis pembelajaran inkuiri. Evaluasi pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan mendapatkan penilaian yang baik dari peserta atau mitra pengabdian. Kata Kunci: pelatihan, percobaan IPA, inkuiri.

Pembelajaran yang menyenangkan tentu akan berdampak pada hasil belajar siswa, salah satu cara yaitu dengan menggunakan alat peraga dalam pembelajaran. Alat peraga yang digunakan selain dapat menyampaikan konsep dengan mudah dan menyenangkan bagi siswa juga harus dapat dibuat dengan mudah oleh guru. Untuk itu, dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan pembekalan pembuatan dan pemanfaatan alat peraga matematika dan IPA dalam pembelajaran bagi guru SD dan SMP yang ada di desa Tanjung Saleh. Berdasarkan hasil survei yang dilakukan sebelum pembekalan, diketahui bahwa rata-rata pengetahuan guru tentang alat peraga dan media masih belum maksimal. Setelah dilakukan pembekalan, pengetahuan guru tentang media dan alat peraga menjadi meningkat selain itu guru juga dapat menentukan alat peraga yang digunakan dalam pembelajarannya dan mampu untuk membuat alat peraga tersebut. Kata Kunci: alat peraga, pembelajaran Matematika, pembelajaran IPA.

PPM kali ini mengangkat tema pengenalan alat-alat Fisika Lanjut Bagi Guru MGMP IPA/MTs Kabupaten Bengkayang. Hal ini didasarkan pada hasil studi yang menemukan bahwa ada diantara guru IPA SMP/MTs yang belum menguasai dan memahami alat-alat yang terdapat di dalam laboratorium IPA. Sehingga pemanfaatan alat-alat laboratorium IPA tersebut belum maksimal.Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan PPM kali ini adalah dengan metode kolaboratif partisipatif. Metode ini merupakan penggabungan antara metode demonstrasi dan metode eksperimen. Dalam kegiatan ini, laboratorium Fisika IKIP PGRI Pontianak rancang menjadi 4 ruangan, yaitu mekanika (air track dan torsi), Fisika Modern, Elektronika digital dan Optika. Peserta yang hadir merupakan guru-guru yang tergabung pada MGMP IPA Kabupaten Bengkayang yang berjumlah 22 orang. Proses evaluasi kegiatan PPM dilakukan dengan memberikan angket kepada peserta. Hasil angket kepuasan peserta berkaitan dengan penyelenggaran PPM dengan nilai rata-rata 3.39 tergolong baik. Kata Kunci: alat-alat laboratorium, fisika lanjut

This study aims to determine: (1) student learning outcomes after application of the model Problem Based Learning on the material light in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Ledo Bengkayang, (2) student learning outcomes after application of conventional learning models on the material light in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Ledo Bengkayang, and (3) a comparison between student learning outcomes after application of Problem Based learning and conventional learning models in light of the material in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Ledo Bengkayang. This study design is Nonequivalent Groups Post-Test Only Design. The study population was all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Ledo consisting of four classes, namely class VIII A, VIII B, C VIII and VIII D. The research sample was determined by random cluster sampling technique and obtained a class VIII A as the experimental class and class VIII C as the control class. The data collection technique used is the technique of measurement, with the data collection tool is test description. The hypothesis was tested using the t test of the parties. Based on the analysis concluded that: (1) the average student learning outcomes after application of the model Problem Based Learning on light material in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Ledo Bengkayang is 73.24, (2) student learning outcomes after application of conventional learning model in the light of the material in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Ledo Bengkayang is 69.82, and (3) student learning outcomes after application of the model Problem Based learning is better than the student learning outcomes after application of conventional learning models in light of the material in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Ledo Bengkayang

TRAINING ON MAKING ICT-BASED PHYSICS LEARNING MEDIA FOR TEACHERS IN BENGKAYANG REGENCY, WEST KALIMANTAN. Improving learning quality is a crucial factor in the implementation of learning in schools to colleges. ICT contributes greatly to the dissemination of information materials to the world. It is one of the foundations of how important it’s to introduce and train teachers on the border to be proficient in information and communication technologies. The purpose of this activity is to train physics teachers in Bengkayang Regency to make ICT-based physics learning media. The goal of this dedication is teachers of physics that are incorporated in the MGMP Physics Regency of Bengkayang, West Kalimantan. The activity is located at SMAN 1 Bengkayang. This activity starts from the preparation phase of the situation analysis and problem of the partner and administration and coordination management with partners. Furthermore, at the stage of implementation of activities conducted is to provide mentoring to the partners through the training activities of ICT-based physics learning media generation. Steps at this stage include the introduction of ICT-based learning media, ICT-based physics media-making workshops and worksheet-making workshops as complementary media usage. The final stage is the evaluation of measuring the level of understanding and skills of participants after taking the training obtained from pretest, postest and observation sheet and designing the sustainability of the training program. From PKM activities that have been conducted, the planning and utilization training of ICT-based media learning for physics teachers in Bengkayang Regency, it can be concluded that the resource capacity is the teacher has increased. It is characterized by increased understanding of teachers about ICT-based learning media that can be used in teaching physics. In addition, teachers have been able to use Phet Simulation media and have been able to create Android applications on the concept of physics.

The problem in this research is to know how the process of developing mathematics physics instructional book based on inquiry approach and its supporting documents to improve students' mathematical problem-solving ability. The purpose of this research is to provide mathematical physics instruction based on inquiry approach and its supporting documents (semester learning activity plan, lesson plan and mathematical problem-solving test) to improve students' mathematical problem-solving ability. The development of textbook refers to the ADDIE model, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The validation result from the expert team shows that the textbook and its supporting documents are valid. The test results of the mathematical problem-solving skills show that all test questions are valid and reliable. The result of the incorporation of the textbook in teaching and learning process revealed that students' mathematical problem-solving ability using mathematical physics instruction based on inquiry approach book was better than the students who use the regular book.
