Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of organizational strategy and infrastructure management on the performance of vocational high school teachers. Research using quantitative methods and research design using path analysis. The population of this study was 35 teachers of SMK 27 and SMK 1. This study found more of the following: 1. There was a positive direct effect on organizational strategy in improving performance; 2, there is a positive direct effect on the management of infrastructure suggestions on performance.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing whether there is an influence of leadership behavior and organizational culture on the performance of educators at the Women's Police School (Sepolwan) Lemdiklat Polri. Measuring the performance of educators at Sepolwan Lemdiklat Polri is based on factors of leadership behavior and organizational culture. The method used in this research is survey research with a quantitative approach. The analysis used is path analysis, which tests and measures the direct effect of one variable on another. The population in this research was 158 respondents. The sample in this study was taken using a simple random technique and a sample technique from Slovin with the calculation results of 78 educators. The finding of the research is that leadership has a positive direct effect on the performance of the National Police's teaching staff. Good leadership will have a positive influence on improving the performance of the National Police's teaching staff. Organizational culture has a positive direct effect on the performance of Polri's educators. The stronger the organizational culture of the National Police, the better the performance of its educators. Organizational culture has a positive direct effect on the performance of the National Police's teaching staff. The leadership of a qualified National Police principal can have an impact on enhancing a conducive organizational culture.

Abstract

Due to the difficulties of obtaining work in Indonesia and the low level of education, some people have been forced to seek employment overseas. However, a good wage outside of Indonesia does not ensure that when they return to Indonesia, they would be self-sufficient with the money they have earned and will not have to work as migrant workers afterwards. The purpose of this study is to assess BPPPTKI Serang's empowerment program for Indonesian migrant workers. This research employs a qualitative approach as well as an evaluation approach. CIPP was employed as the evaluation model (Contexts, Input, Process and Product). This article focuses solely on the product and impact of this empowerment program, and it does not cover other aspects of CIPP. The study's findings revealed that, while the program's idea was excellent, the results were not. The majority of Indonesian migrant workers who return to work overseas demonstrate this. This, of course, goes against the program's stated goal of producing independent migrant workers once they've worked as migrant workers. In terms of concept, this program still has to be improved upon, particularly in the form of a post-program control procedure to encourage migrant workers to be more productive. Keywords: migrant workers, CIPP, empowerment program, productive.

Abstract

Abstract This activity aims to train teachers of Bobojong Village Elementary School, Cianjur Regency to have: 1). Understanding of the concept of student cohort needed in educational planning to realize an effective school. 2) The ability to process educational data into student cohorts to find the level of efficiency that can help facilitate the realization of effective schools. 3) Ability to analyze student cohorts needed in realizing an effective school. The activity methods used are brainstorming methods, interactive discussions, seminars, individual assignments, and performance evaluation. The results of this training activity are that the teachers of Bobojong Village Elementary School, Cianjur Regency as training participants have: 1) had an understanding of the concepts of data and information needed in educational planning to produce effective school management; 2) able to compile a cohort of students that can be used to find various educational problems in order to facilitate the process of effective school management; 3) able to find the efficiency of education delivery from the student cohort compiled and follow up by finding solutions to improve the efficiency of the implementation of school education for which they are responsible; and 4) be able to identify population data processing techniques and educational data that are often used for educational planning purposes. To see the more tangible impact of this training activity, this training needs to be followed up by providing assistance to school teachers in need, and partnering with the KKG or with the local Religious Education Office. It should be considered to form a foster school for Jakarta State University as a form of the third dharma of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely the dharma of community service. Abstrak Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk melatih guru Sekolah Dasar Desa Bobojong Kabupaten Cianjur agar memiliki: 1). Pemahaman terhadap konsep kohort siswa yang diperlukan dalam perencanaan pendidikan guna mewujudkan sekolah efektif. 2) Kemampuan mengolah data pendidikan kedalam kohort siswa guna menemukan tingkat efisiensinya yang dapat membantu memperlancar perwujudan sekolah efektif. 3) Kemampuan menganalisis kohort siswa yang dibutuhkan dalam mewujudkan sekolah efektif. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan ialah metode curah pendapat (brainstorming), diskusi interaktif, seminar, tugas individual, dan evaluasi kinerja. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah para guru Sekolah Dasar Desa Bobojong Kabupaten Cianjur sebagai peserta pelatihan telah: 1) memiliki pemahaman terhadap konsep data dan informasi yang diperlukan dalam perencanaan pendidikan guna menghasilkan manajemen sekolah efektif; 2) mampu menyusun kohort siswa yang dapat digunakan untuk menemukan berbagai permasalahan pendidikan guna memperlancar proses pengelolaan sekolah efektif ; 3) mampu menemukan efisiensi penyelenggaraan pendidikan dari kohort siswa yang disusun dan menindaklanjutinya dengan mencari solusi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi penyelenggaraan pendidikan sekolah yang menjadi tanggungjawabnya; dan 4) mampu mengidentifikasi teknik pengolahan data penduduk dan data pendidikan yang kerap digunakan untuk keperluan perencanaan pendidikan. Untuk melihat dampak yang lebih nyata dari kegiatan pelatihan ini maka pelatihan ini perlu ditindaklanjuti dengan memberikan pendampingan kepada para guru sekolah yang membutuhkan, dan bermitra dengan KKG atau dengan Dinas Pendidikan Agama setempat. Perlu dipertimbangkan untuk membentuk sekolah binaan bagi Universitas Negeri Jakarta sebagai wujud dharma ketiga dari Tri Dharma PerguruanTinggi yaitu dharma pengabdian kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

This study analyzed the effect of organizational climate and quality of work-life on teachers’ creativity throughout state vocational high schools in Serang, Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic. This work involved 164 civil servant teachers in state vocational high schools in Serang, Indonesia as the sample. As the major analysis tool, we used a multiple linear regression model. The hypothesis test used the t-test and f-test. The study revealed that: i) Organizational climate positively and significantly influenced the civil servant teachers’ creativity amid the COVID-19 pandemic with a significance value of .000 (α<.005); ii) The quality of work-life also had a positive and significant effect on the teachers’ creativity during this difficult situation has significance value of .000 (α<.005); and iii) The quality of their work influenced both organizational climate and the creativity of state vocational high school teachers living in Serang, Indonesia, with a determination coefficient of .861 or 86.1% during the pandemic.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and describe comprehensively the influence of organizational culture and work environment on the work effectiveness of public high school teachers in Central Jakarta. This research was conducted at a public high school in Central Jakarta. This research method uses quantitative research survey methods, as for analyzing the data using path analysis. The path analysis technique in this study is to determine the causal relationship between variables or the direct influence of exogenous variables on endogenous variables. The endogenous variables in this study are work effectiveness, while the exogenous variables in this study are organizational culture and work environment. Data was collected through filling out a questionnaire. Based on the calculation results obtained path analysis: 1) organizational culture has a direct effect on the effectiveness of teachers' work with a path coefficient value of 0.728 and tcount of 15.510, meaning that organizational culture has a positive direct influence on the effectiveness of teachers' work, which can be accepted increasing. A good organizational culture increases the effectiveness of teachers' work. 2) the direct effect of the work environment on the effectiveness of the teacher's work, the path coefficient is 0.699 and tcount is 14,277. That is, the work environment has a direct effect on the effectiveness of the teacher's work. 3) Organizational culture has a direct positive effect on the work environment with a path coefficient value of 0.671 and tcount 13,218.

Abstract

This article presents the integration of Total Quality Management (TQM) in leadership within the Christian Theological College in Salatiga. Christian Theological Colleges have a unique responsibility in developing not only academic aspects, but also student spirituality. The integration of TQM in leadership in this environment leads to holistic efforts to improve the quality of education. Through a qualitative approach with descriptive methods accompanied by descriptive analysis to obtain an integrative concept of leadership and TQM within the scope of the Christian Theological College in Salatiga. The research results showed that to integrate TQM and Leadership, a change in the quality paradigm of the leadership team is needed, an obsession with quality and building clear and open communication in order to produce a solid team. The integration of TQM in the leadership of Christian theological colleges will provide a solid foundation for achieving higher quality education while integrating spiritual and moral values in the educational processTulisan ini menyajikan perihal integrasi Total Quality Management (TQM) dalam kepemimpinan di lingkup Perguruan Tinggi Teologi Kristen di Salatiga. Perguruan Tinggi Teologi Kristen memiliki tanggung jawab yang unik dalam mengembangkan tidak hanya aspek akademis, tetapi juga spiritualitas mahasiswa. Integrasi TQM dalam kepemimpinan di lingkungan ini mengarah pada upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan yang holistik. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif disertai dengan analisis deskriptif untuk mendapatkan konsep integratif kepemimpinan dan TQM dalam lingkup Perguruan Tinggi Teologi Kristen di Salatiga. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa untuk mengintegrasikan TQM dan Kepemimpinan diperlukan perubahan paradigma mutu dari tim pemimpin, obsesi pada mutu dan membangun komunikasi yang jelas serta terbuka dalam rangka menghasilkan tim yang solid. Integrasi TQM dalam kepemimpinan perguruan tinggi teologi Kristen akan memberikan landasan yang kokoh untuk mencapai kualitas pendidikan yang lebih tinggi sekaligus mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai spiritual dan moral dalam proses pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini meneliti hubungan yang berkaitan dengan transparansi keuangan sekolah dan partisipasi orang tua dengan menggunakan metode tinjauan literatur sebagai pendekatan penelitian. Tujuan utamanya adalah untuk meneliti dampak informasi keuangan sekolah terhadap tingkat keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak-anak mereka. Penelitian ini menganalisis berbagai sumber informasi seperti makalah, jurnal, dan penelitian mengenai topik tersebut. Hasil tinjauan literatur menunjukkan bahwa tingkat transparansi keuangan yang tinggi di lingkungan sekolah berperan penting dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan orang tua siswa. Transparansi keuangan menciptakan landasan kepercayaan yang kuat antara sekolah dan orang tua. Orang tua cenderung lebih terlibat dalam kegiatan sekolah ketika mereka mempunyai akses yang mudah terhadap informasi mengenai pengelolaan keuangan sekolah. Komunikasi yang efektif adalah kunci meningkatkan transparansi dengan menyediakan informasi keuangan yang jelas, mudah dipahami dan dapat diakses melalui berbagai saluran komunikasi. Hasil temuan ini menyoroti urgensi dan relevansi pentingnya transparansi keuangan dalam mendorong keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak-anak mereka. Dengan mendorong transparansi keuangan yang efektif, sekolah dapat memperkuat kemitraan dengan orang tua, menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang inklusif, dan meningkatkan keterlibatan orang tua dalam upaya pendidikan anak-anak mereka. Kesimpulannya transparansi keuangan di sekolah tidak hanya merupakan kunci untuk mendapatkan kepercayaan, namun juga merupakan faktor penting bagi kelanjutan keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh supervisi akademik, komunikasi interpersonal, disiplin kerja, dan motivasi guna meningkatkan kinerja guru. Topik ini dipilih berdasarkan signifikansi dari performa edukatif guru sebagai pilar utama dalam sistem pendidikan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur, penelitian ini menelaah sumber-sumber relevan untuk mendapatkan insight yang komprehensif mengenai interaksi dan kontribusi dari keempat variabel tersebut terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru. Dalam penelitian ini, supervisi akademik sebagai elemen esensial untuk memandu dan meningkatkan kualitas instruksional, sementara komunikasi interpersonal yang efisien antara guru dan pemangku kepentingan sebagai elemen kunci menciptakan suasana kerja yang produktif. Disiplin kerja merupakan fondasi bagi etika profesional guru, dan motivasi kerja yang tinggi merangsang kreativitas dan dedikasi dalam pengajaran. Studi ini menyelidiki berbagai teori dan hasil penelitian yang ada berkaitan dengan masing-masing variabel dan sinergi antar mereka dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. Hasil dari studi ini menekankan pentingnya pendekatan yang terintegrasi untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru, yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara keseluruhan. Ini mengindikasikan bahwa perbaikan dalam kinerja guru melalui pendekatan holistik ini tidak hanya memberi manfaat pada proses belajar mengajar tetapi juga pada hasil edukatif secara lebih luas.
