<![CDATA[Local wisdom plays a crucial role in disaster mitigation, as exemplified during the 2023 eruption of Mount Merapi. Amid the eruption, societal myths circulated, asserting that Merapi erupted to conceal mining-induced holes. The statement was made by the Sultan of Yogyakarta Special District (Sultan DIY) during an interview with the media. It then receives responses and pros and cons from the community, then forms a community perspective. Researchers analyzed data from a Jogja TV interview with the Sultan, using semiotic analysis and Foucault's power relations theory. The findings reveal that there is discourse and knowledge that portrays Merapi's eruption as a corrective response to mining damage. This narrative gained societal acceptance, highlighting the influential role of local authorities in shaping disaster perceptions. However, the discourse also raises the counterpoint of disagreement.]]>

<![CDATA[Current educational needs are required to adapt to global needs. The education system must be able to keep up with market demand. This has an impact on shifting educational ideology, including discourse in it. This study aims to uncover the discourse of entrepreneurship school at The Naff Elementary School Kediri, East Java. This study uses a qualitative method with a hermeneutic approach. This study uses Michel Foucault's theory of discourse analysis. The results of this study indicate that the discourse of entrepreneurship school has an impact on the education system with the ideology of capitalism behind it. <![CDATA[Penelitian ini mengkaji aksesbilitas dan sikap sosial yang positif pada lingkungan akademis dapat mendukung penyandang disabilitas dalam melakukan kegiatan belajar di tingkat perguruan tinggi. Pendidikan merupakan hak seluruh masyarakat, selayaknya perguruan tinggi berbasis inkulusi dapat menyediakan aksebilitas penyandang disabilitas yang memadai untuk menunjang kegiatan belajar mengajar. Aksebilitas diberikan dengan menyediakan jalur khusus ramah disabilitas. Sikap sosial lingkungan akademis yang positif juga menjadi pendukung untuk penyandang disabilitas dapat menyelesaikan pendidikanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan penyediaan aksebilitas dan sikap sosial lingkungan akademis dapat membantu penyandang disabilitas dalam menempuh pendidikan di tingkat perguruan tinggi. Analisis data diperoleh dari pengumpulan data berupa penyusunan hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatatif dengan pendekatan teori keadilan komutatif Aristoteres. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa mahasiswa penyendang disabilitas dari Universitas Negeri Surabaya merasa terbantu dengan adanya fasilitas aksibel yang menyediakan sarana prasara pembelajaran untuk memudahkan kegiatan belajar. Dukungan sosial dalam lingkungan akademis menambah semangat untuk belajar sehingga dapat menyelesaikan studi pendidikan tinggi dengan baik. ]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract: This research aims to investigate the impact of ecology-based digital literacy on the formation of ecological awareness among millennial generations in higher education. Millennials, as a significant demographic group, play a key role in shaping the future of the environment. In this context, digital literacy serves as an essential tool for disseminating knowledge and motivating pro-environmental actions. The research method employed a case study approach within the higher education environment, involving a group of millennial students participating in ecology-based digital literacy. Data were collected through initial observations, pre- and post-assessment of ecological awareness, and in-depth interviews. The research results indicate that ecology-based digital literacy can enhance ecological awareness among millennials. Participants or informants demonstrated an understanding of environmental issues and skills in using digital technology to disseminate pro-environmental information. In-depth interviews revealed that ecology-based digital literacy provides additional motivation for engaging in concrete actions that support environmental sustainability. The research findings have significant implications for the development of more effective environmental education and targeted pro-environment communication strategies for the millennial generation. In conclusion, ecology-based digital literacy can be a powerful means of shaping ecological awareness among millennials and motivating them to take positive actions in support of environmental sustainability.]]>

<![CDATA[Peran media berfungsi sebagai penyalur informasi yang sepenuhnya tidak netral dalam memproduksi wacana dalam masyarakat. Dan informasi yang disampaikan membentuk realita yang tidak netral. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis Teun A Van Dijk. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua jenis data, yaitu primer dan sekunder. Data primer diambil dalam tayangan ulang di platform youtube TvOne program acara Perempuan Bicara episode “Dianggap Hina Jokowi, Rocky Terancam Masuk Bui”. Data sekunder diambil dari artikel, jurnal, berita, buku, tesis yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini. Setelah data diolah menggunakan analisis wacana kritis Teun A Van Dijk, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teori bahasa dan kuasa Bennedict Anderson dan ruang publik Jurgen Habermas. Peneliti menemukan dua wacana yang berkembang, yaitu pro dan kontra. Dalam wacana pro Rocky Gerung bahwa tidak masalah Rocky mengkritik pemerintah dengan kata-kata ‘bajingan tolol’ atau gaya satir karena parlemen gagal menjalankan fungsinya sebagai pengkritik pemerintah. Dalam wacana kontra Rocky Gerung bahwa Rocky melakukan kasar dalam berbahasa, kekerasan psikologi dalam komunikasi, bertanggung jawab dalam ucapan sehingga Rocky pantas dihukum karena menggunakan kata-kata ‘bajingan tolol’.]]>

<![CDATA[Purpose – This research analyzes the competitive advantage of tourist villages influenced by VRIN and non-VRIN resources on the performance of tourist village businesses. The sporadic nature of village tourism development and the difficulty of getting out of the pioneer level are the problems raised in this study.Design/methodology/approach –This research collected primary data on respondents who were workers from tourist villages, according to the established criteria. A total of 383 research respondents were obtained from distributing questionnaires. Using a quantitative approach, this study analyzed the relationship between VRIN resource and non-VRIN resource variables on competitive advantage, which then affects business performanceFindings – The research of the study shows that VRIN resources significantly influence competitive advantage, which then affects business performance. The results of the study also show that non-VRIN resources do not affect competitive advantage. This shows how VRIN resources play a role in forming the unique value of tourist villages as well as traditional resources that are no longer relevant in forming the competitive advantages of tourist villages.Research limitations/implications – This research has limitations in generalizing the research results, where the research context was only conducted in Indonesia, precisely in East Java. Further research can develop the research by adding the geographical scope of the research sample.Practical implications – This research underlines the importance of strategic development of tourist villages based on a resource-based view approach. Development based on intangible assets, integration, and collaboration with other parties can be done by tourist villages.Originality/value – The use of the resource-based view approach in analyzing the competitive advantage of tourist villages is still not widely used, which then becomes the unique value of this research.]]>

<![CDATA[Early marriage is a marriage between a prospective bride and groom who have not reached the age of 19 years. The Madiun Regency Population Control and Family Planning, Women's Protection and Child Protection Office is one of the footholds in reducing the number of child marriages in the Madiun Regency area. This study aims to determine the role of the Madiun Regency Population Control and Family Planning, Women's Protection and Child Protection Office in suppressing early marriage rates and what efforts are made to have a positive impact on reducing marriage rates in Madiun Regency. This research is a qualitative study from the perspective of Talcott Parsons' functional structural theory. The data collection techniques used are structured interviews with employees of the Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Division, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the role of the Madiun Regency Population Control and Family Planning, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Office in reducing the number of early marriages with efforts including socialization to schools, establishing children's forums, and conducting MoUs with the Religious Court to facilitate premarital counseling as a condition for applying for marriage dispensation (Diska).]]>

<![CDATA[Peningkatan partisipasi politik masyarakat desa menjadi langkah penting untuk mendukung demokrasi yang sehat. Artikel ini membahas program penyuluhan masyarakat di Desa Tlatah, Bojonegoro, yang bertujuan meningkatkan partisipasi pemilih dalam Pemilu 2024 dan menekan angka golput. Kegiatan ini melibatkan mahasiswa dari berbagai universitas di Jawa Timur di bawah bimbingan Algoritma Research and Consulting, dengan pendekatan fenomenologi dan metode penyuluhan interaktif. Program ini dirancang melalui pelatihan, koordinasi dengan pengurus desa, dan penyampaian materi edukasi politik berbasis diskusi serta simulasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran politik masyarakat, berkurangnya angka golput, dan antusiasme lebih besar terhadap partisipasi dalam pemilu. Dengan pendekatan yang terstruktur dan relevan, kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam memberdayakan masyarakat desa untuk mendukung proses demokrasi secara aktif.]]>

<![CDATA[Perilaku kekerasan yang di lakukan oleh senior kepada junior di lingkungan pendidkan masih banyak di temukan di berbagai sekolah maupun universitas. Kasus kekerasan yang di lakukan oleh senior kepada junior banyak menimbulkan perhatian di karenakan kasus kekerasan yang di gunakan oleh senior kepada junior hingga saat ini masih tetap ada. Maka dari itu tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat faktor apa yang melatarbelakangi perilaku kekerasan dalam senioritas di lingkungan pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Sedangkan untuk pengumpulan data yakni melalui studi literature dari berbagai jurnal, buku serta website yang sesuai dengan topik yang di bahas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang menyebabkan perilaku kekerasan dalam senioritas masih tetap ada adalah kurangnya kontrol sosial dari tiga lingkungan pendidikan yakni keluarga, sekolah, serta masyarakat. Untuk dapat menghilangkan kekerasan dalam seniroitas di perlukan kerja sama dari ketiga lingkungan pendidikan tersebut untuk melakukan kontrol sosial dalam perilaku remaja di lingkungan pendidikan.
