Abstract

Infectious diseases are one of the health problems in society that are difficult to overcome completely. Bacteria that can cause infectious diseases are Staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria. Diseases caused by bacterial infections are generally treated with antibiotics. The plant that has the potential to be developed as an antibacterial is lime (Citrus aurantifolia swingle). Lime contains flavonoids, phenols, and essential oils that can inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria. To determine the minimum and maximum inhibitory concentrations of lime juice in inhibiting Staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria. Literature review with narrative review design. The literature search was carried out through national journals, international journals, clinical keys, and textbooks for 2016 – 2020. The minimum inhibitory concentration of lime juice which can inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria at a concentration of 20%. While the maximum inhibitory concentration of lime juice which can inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria is at a concentration of 100%. Conclusion: Lime (Citrus aurantifolia swigle) effectively inhibits Staphylococcus epidermidis bacteria.

Abstract

In the era of technology that has developed rapidly today, of course, the use of computers can help human work to be faster, and more efficient, of course with the right hardware and software support. SMK 17 August 1945 is a vocational high school which consists of 2 majors, namely Administration and Book Management and Business Administration. At this time, book borrowing activities that occur in school libraries still use large books in recording borrowing and returning books, as well as in the process of collecting incoming books or new books to recording damaged books, until the reporting process is still done conventionally. Allows for errors in the recording process, data loss due to shabby old files or negligence of officers in terms of fines if there is a delay in returning books by students. Problems that occur during the process of borrowing and returning books in the library at this time, library information systems that can manage book borrowing data that can support and provide good services for staff, members and library visitors. Application of the waterfall model on software requirements, software system design, implementation and unit testing. While the information system design method will be described using a unified modeling language (UML), namely use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams and class diagrams.

Abstract

Death anxiety is an unpleasant emotional state that a person experiences when thinking about death. Anxiety can have a detrimental impact on mental health, especially in the middle adulthood stage, who experience death anxiety more often. One of the effective strategies to deal with death anxiety is to have mindfulness. The concept of mindfulness can help middle-aged adults to stay focused on doing and interpreting every activity or situation without thinking about abstract things, such as death. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between mindfulness and death anxiety in middle adulthood. The total sample of 275 middle-aged adults was selected by accidental sampling technique. Data were collected using the Mindful Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS) and Death Anxiety Scale-Extended (DAS-Extended). The results of data analysis using the Spearman-Brown Formula showed that there was a negative relationship between mindfulness and death anxiety in middle adulthood. In other words, higher mindfulness will be associated with lower death anxiety, and vice versa. Therefore, mindfulness is associated with reduced death anxiety in middle adulthood. Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the potential revenue of the tourism sector on Regional Original Income in three regions, namely West Kotawaringin Regency, East Kotawaringin Regency, and Palangka Raya City. The data used is qualitative data and is also supported by quantitative data, the method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data analysis uses the contribution of tourism income to Regional Original Income, namely using an analysis of the contribution of PAD based on the classification of contribution criteria. The results of this study indicate that the different tourist characteristics between the three regencies/cities have their own tourist attractions. But the number of tourists visiting only come directly to the tourist attraction, so that previously the tourism industry was a source of income for the private sector and the region through restaurant taxes or hotel taxes, now the source of income from the tourism industry is less contributing to Regional Original Income
