Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa berdasarkan kecerdasan logis matematikanya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MTs Nurul Mujtahidin Wolulu yang melibatkan 10 orang siswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Selanjutnya dipilih 5 siswa untuk diwawancarai yang terdiri dari 1 siswa dengan kecerdasan logis matematika sangat tinggi, 1 siswa dengan kecerdasan logis matematika tinggi, dan 1 siswa dengan kecerdasan logis sedang, 1 Siswa dengan keceerdasan Logis Matematis Kurang dan 1 Siswa dengan Kecerdasan Logis Matematis Sangat Rendah. Hasil yang diperoleh (1) Terdapat siswa dengan kecerdasan logis matematika sangat tinggi memiliki rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis kategori sangat Baik yaitu dengan rata-rata nilai 83,33 (2) Terdapat siswa dengan kecerdasan Logis matematika Tinggi memiliki rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis kategori Baik yaitu dengan rata-rata nilai 75,00 dan (3) Terdapat siswa dengan kecerdasan Logis matematika Sedang memiliki rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis kategori Cukup yaitu dengan rata-rata nilai 65,27. (4) Terdapat siswa dengan kecerdassan Logis matematis rendah memiliki kemampuan pemecahan matematis kurang yaitu dengan rata rata nilai 58,33. (5) Terdapat siswa dengan kecerdassan Logis matematis sangat rendah memiliki kemampuan pemecahan matematis sangat kurang yaitu dengan rata rata nilai 37,50. Dari 10 siswa kelas VIII MTs Nurul Mujtahidin Wolulu diperoleh bahwa rata-rata kecerdasan logis matematisnya yaitu 65,00 yang berada pada kategori sedang. Serta dari 10 siswa kelas VIII MTs Nurul Mujtahidin Wolulu diperoleh bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa berada pada kategori cukup dengan rata-rata nilai 64,20.

Abstract

This devotion is aimed to improve the ability of teachers to process research data usingSPSS. Things that the background is the lack of the use and knowledge of teachers in theuse of SPSS and research works of teachers is lacking, one possible cause is the inabilityof teachers in data processing, especially using SPSS. This devotion includes four phases,namely, preparation, determination of the participants, the training and guidance of theuse of SPSS, and direct practice of use of each of the steps in the data analysis in SPSS.The methods used include lectures and question and answer, targeted discussiongroups, guidance and simulation data analysis, and direct practice with SPSS dataanalysis, and administration tasks. Outputs produced is yielding clues analysis workprogram SPSS for teachers and guidance techniques and operation of SPSS in dataprocessing as well as the need to retrieve accurate results and capable operation of SPSSin data processing based on the instructions of work to be able to determine the validdata instrument and obtain accurate results.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: To determine students' learning achievement in mathematics based on parenting styles of students at SMP Negeri 3 Wundulako and to find out the difference in students' learning achievement in mathematics based on parenting styles at SMP Negeri 3 Wundulako. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Wundulako, totaling 47 students divided into 2 classes, namely VIII A and VIII. This study uses descriptive quantitative research, where the researchers used descriptive methods with quantitative approaches. The results showed that: Differences in students' learning achievement in mathematics based on parenting styles of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Wundulako.

Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to find out the advantages and disadvantages of the sevima edlink application through application in lectures using mixed methods. The advantages and disadvantages obtained are expected to be input for the university for the development of a better campus LMS. A good LMS will support the implementation of good MBKM through distance learning programs. In addition to finding out the advantages and disadvantages of Edlink, another important point is to involve students including lecturers involved to actively participate in using learning technology. This is one of the important points of this research. The methods used were case study, in-depth interview and participative observation. The research instruments were questionnaires and interview guidelines. The results of this study indicate that edlink is very feasible to use as a campus LMS although there are some features that must be improved.

Abstract

Indonesian students' performance still tends to be low in solving mathematical problems. In order to explore this issue, further studies are needed to determine the ability of students to solve mathematical problems in various mathematical materials. Therefore, this study aims to describe students' mathematical problem solving ability on geometric sequence material. Descriptive qualitative method was used to describe three research subjects (students of SMAN 6 Bombana) who each represented high, medium, and low ability levels. Tests and interviews were given to collect data which were then analyzed to find out how students' work and errors in solving mathematical problems. The results showed that based on Polya's problem solving indicators, subjects with high and medium ability could solve the problem well, although subjects with medium ability needed two attempts (changing the solution plan) to get the correct answer. Meanwhile, subjects in the low category could not solve the mathematical problems presented in three attempts. In addition, two student errors were found in the solution process, namely: 1) incorrectly using the concept; and 2) incorrectly determining the ratio of the sequence. This study also found a positive participation of adversity quotient as a good mentality for students in solving mathematical problems.

Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK) memunculkan program pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan partisipasi budaya di sekolah. Pembelajaran matematika yang berorientasi pada budaya seringkali melibatkan materi matematika yang berhubungan dengan perhitungan. Bidang yang menghubungkan matematika dengan budaya ini dikenal sebagai etnomatematika. Salah satu contoh nyata yaitu adanya unsur matematika pada bangunan Rumah Adat Mekongga. Dari bangunan rumah adat terlihat unsur budaya dalam hal ini budaya Suku Tolaki Mekongga yang memiliki nilai seni yang tercermin dari gaya arsitektur bangunan. Mengkaji dan mengeksplorasi rumah adat Raha Bokeo Suku Tolaki Mekongga sebagai alternatif sumber belajar matematika berbasis kebudayaan lokal Suku Tolaki menjadi tujuan dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunkan jenis pendekatan etnografi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah peneliti sendiri dan teknik analisis data mengacu pada metode yang dekemukakan oleh Miles Dan Hubermann. Dalam penelitian ini, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi yang dilakukan pada Rumah Adat Mekongga, wawancara dilakukan dengan dua narasumber yaitu arsitek rumah adat sekaligus ahli sejarawan Suku Tolaki Mekongga dan ketua adat Suku Tolaki Mekongga dan dokumentasi yang berbentuk foto atau dokumen yang berkaitan. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu terdapat konsep-konsep geometri pada bangunan Rumah Adat Mekongga seperti persegi panjang, segitiga sama kaki, segitiga siku-siku, prisma segi empat dan pencerminan atau refleksi. Selain itu, juga terdapat aktivitas matematika dalam proses pembangunan rumah adat seperti aktivitas mengukur, aktivitas merancang bangunan, aktivitas menjelaskan dan aktivitas menentukan lokasi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the average increase in the mathematical representation ability of students who are taught using Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning and conventional learning and to see the effectiveness of the TAI learning model with a constructivist approach. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Samaturu in the even semester. Sampling was carried out using cluster random sampling technique as the experimental unit selected two research classes. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Furthermore, the results of inferential statistics on hypothesis testing using the t-test. Based on the results and discussion in this study, several conclusions were obtained, namely: (1) students' mathematical representation abilities before being taught by the TAI model with a constructivism approach consisting of 19 students showed an average of 14.08, with a standard deviation of 5.78615; (2) students' mathematical representation abilities after being taught using TAI learning with a constructivism approach show an average value of 58.72, with a standard deviation of 7.332761; and (3) Learning mathematics through the TAI learning model is more effective than conventional learning.

This is one of the important points of this research. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah mencari tahu kelebihan dan kekurangan aplikasi sevima edlink melalui penerapan dalam perkuliahan yang menggunakan metode campuran. Kelebihan dan kekurangan yang diperoleh diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan bagi universitas demi pengembangan LMS kampus yang lebih baik. LMS yang baik akan mendukung terlaksananya MBKM yang baik melalui program belajar jarak jauh. Selain mencari tahu kelebihan dan kekurangan Edlink, poin penting lainnya adalah melibatkan mahasiswa termasuk dosen yang terlibat untuk ikut aktif dalam menggunakan teknologi pembelajaran. Hal ini yang menjadi salah satu poin penting dilakukannya penelitian ini.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the contextual learning model assisted by hands on problem solving in improving students' mathematics learning outcomes. The population in this study were all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Latambaga. Sampling in this study used cluster random sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out by giving tests in the form of description tests and non-tests. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with hypothesis testing using independent t-test. The results of inferential research using the t-test have been obtained value  or H, rejected. This shows that the contextual learning model assisted by hands on problem solving is effective in improving student learning outcomes.
