Abstract

Penelitin ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendapatan usahatani bawang merah di Kabupaten Majalengka. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di satu Kabupaten sentra produksi bawang merah di Jawa Barat selama tiga musim tanam. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari data penelitian komoditas bawang merah Pusat Kajian Hortikultura Tropika (PKHT) IPB tahun 2015. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan oleh PKHT dilakukan melalui metode survei dan wawancara langsung dengan responden petani bawang merah dengan bantuan kuesioner. Responden petani bawang merah ditentukan secara purposive. Jumlah data responden yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 37 petani bawang merah di Kabupaten Majalengka. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriftif, analisis pendapatan serta analisis R/C rasio. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan usahatani bawang merah disetiap Musim (Musim Hujan, Musim Kemarau I dan Musim Kemarau II) di Kabupaten Majalengka, pendapatan usahatani atas biaya tunai maupun biaya total lebih besar dari nol. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa usahatani bawang merah dengan tingkat efisiensi teknis yang ada mampu memberikan keuntungan bagi petani. Hasil analisis R/C rasio juga menunjukkan bahwa usahatani di ketiga Musim menguntungkan untuk diusahakan karena nilai R/C rasio atas biaya tunai maupun atas biaya total lebih besar dari satu.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                        Sumatera barat yang merupakan salah satu sentra produksi peternakan ayam broiler. Selain itu daging ayam broiler merupakan konsumsi tertinggi daripada daging sapi maupun daging ayam kampung. Namun pada tahun 2017 terjadi penurunan produksi ayam broiler sebesar 0,21 persen. Hal ini menggambarkan adanya masalah aktivitas kewirausahaan terutama pada peternakan mandiri yang lebih rentan terhadap ketidakstabilan harga dipengaruhi oleh daya produksi, inovasi dan daya saing dalam melakukan usahanya. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh aktivitas kewirausahaan terhadap pertumbuhan usaha peternakan mandiri. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Partial Least Square (PLS). Data primer diperoleh dari wawancara menggunakan kuisioner. Data sekunder diperoleh dari literatur terkait. Hasil penelitian menujukan daya produksi dan daya saing tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Sedangkan inovasi berpengaruh signifikan sebesar 0.368. Artinya penting adanya usaha yang inovasi dan kreatif seperti penggunaan metode berproduksi baru. Variabel laten aktivitas kewirausahaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan usahanya sebesar 0.330.  Saran agar pemerintah dapat mempercepat pertumbuhan usaha dengan mengadakan pelatihan dan penyuluhan yang mendorong pertumbuhan usaha dilihat dari pendapatan dan skala usaha.Kata Kunci: inovasi, partial least square (PLS), peternakan ayam broiler, pertumbuhan usaha, pola mandiriABSTRACTWest Sumatra which is one of the centers of broiler chicken production. In addition broiler chicken meat is the highest consumption than beef or chicken meat. But in 2017 there was a decrease in broiler chicken production by 0.21 percent. This illustrates the problem of entrepreneurial, especially in independent farms which are more susceptible to price instability influenced by the power of production, innovation, and competitiveness in doing business. Therefore this study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial activity on the growth of independent livestock businesses. The analysis method used is PLS. Primary data were obtained from interviews using questionnaires. Secondary data were obtained from the relevant literature. The results of the research addressing the power of production and competitiveness have no significant effect. While innovation has a significant effect of 0.368. It means that there is an innovation and creative effort such as the use of new production methods. The latent variable of entrepreneurial has a positive and significant effect on business growth of 0.330. Suggestions that the government can accelerate business growth by holding training and counseling that encourage business growth seen from income and business scale.Keywords: broiler, business growth, independent pattern, innovation, PLS

Abstract

Shallot is one of commodities having high value, so that many farmers are cultivating it but Indonesia still remains as net importer of shallot. The objective of this study is to analyze the communication of government policies towards competitiveness on shallot commodity in the district of Majalengka. The data have been analyzed by the method of the Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM) to determine the level of profit and competitiveness, as well as the impact of the policy. A total of 37 farmers were selected as respondents by using purposive sampling technique. The result showed that shallot farming in the district of Majalengka was financially profitable but economically unprofitable. The analysis of the competitiveness showed the shallot farming in the district of Majalengka had no competitiveness. The government policy provides protection against the price of shallot. Meanwhile, the government policy towards the input is still a disincentive to farmers. Shallot farmers have to pay more expensive input than they should be. But simultaneously, the government policy on input and output is still supportive for shallot production in the country. Dialogical communication process with the bottom up approach can encourage the successful of implementation of policies to improve the competitiveness of shallot in the district of Majalengka.

Abstract

Empowerment cassava chips group based on pre prosperity family in Menteng Village, Bogor City and Neglasari Village, Bogor District purposed for reducing sum of poor family at two location. The special purpose is increasing income for poor families as the programme participants. The boundaries of poor family for the activity are pre prosperity family that have characteristic they could not eat twice a day, not have enough cloth for any activities, house condition not feasible, they could not access the health facilities and school because lack of budget. Steps of methode for building the new entrepreneur group based on pre prosperity family are 1) Selection and target approach; 2) Form the UMKM Miraos as “builder”; 3) Pre test; 4) Business motivation training, processing cassava chip training, marketing, and management business training; 5) Field study; 6) Introducing of suporting equipment for business; 7) Coaching and partner expansion; and 8) Post test. The result of empowerment activities resulted two groups small enterprises of cassava chips at both location. The two groups have earned additional income about IDR 60.000–150.000 per member in one cycle production after join the program. They also achieve increasing of knowledge and motivation about cassava chips business.

Abstract

The mismatch between the availability of vegetables and consumer demand is one of the causes of inefficient supply chains. This study aims to analyze the bullwhip effect on the organic leaf vegetable supply chain at PT Simply Fresh Organic (SFO). The analysis method used is a comparison between the coefficient of variation of orders created with the coefficient of variation in requests received by each supply chain institution. The data used are secondary data obtained from PT SFO. The measurement results show that the supply chain flow of organic leaf vegetables had a bullwhip effect at the PT SFO level and no bullwhip effect occurs at the retail level. The value of the BE supply chain value calculation at PT SFO shows a higher figure than at the retail level. The bullwhip effect at PT SFO occurred because of a rationing and shortage gaming policy. Therefore, each member of the supply chain must maintain transparency of data information and utilize digital technology to improve the accuracy of data forecasting requests and reservations quickly.

Abstract

Spatial is one issue that is important in assessing the concept of entrepreneurship. Interest studied the problems of spatial and entrepreneurship is to create business growth, through the support of business locations atmosphere, leading to the creation of entrepreneurial activity. The purpose of this study to (1) identify the determining factors of the characteristics of the zone; (2) to analyze the influence of the characteristics of the zone of entrepreneurial activity; (3) Analyze the effects of entrepreneurial activity on the growth of broiler chicken farm. The research was conducted by survey method, conducted in three zones in Jambi province with a total sample of 140 farmers. The results showed (1) Characteristics of the zone formed by the spatial characteristics, enterprises and entrepreneurs. (2) Characteristics of significant zones of direct and positive effect on entrepreneurial activity (3) entrepreneurial activities significantly affect the growth of broiler chicken farm, both of which have a positive relationship. In other words, the growth of the business acquired, occur because of the encouragement of entrepreneurial activity increased farmers.

Abstract

Abstract. This research is intended to analyze the efficiency and the factors influencing the choice of marketing of vanda douglas cutting orchids in Bogor district. Respondentsin this study requires 40 farmers vanda douglas cutting orchids. The analysis ofmarketing channel efficiency uses marketing margins, farmers' share and profit-to-costratio. The result of this research is there are three patterns of marketing channel ofVanda douglas cutting orchids: (1) farmers - village collector traders - wholesalers -consumers (2) farmers - wholesalers - consumers (3) farmers - florists - consumers.Seen from the efficiency of the most efficient marketing channel is on channel two thatis farmers - wholesalers - consumers. Where on this channel has a low margin of 72percent, farmer shares by 28 percent and the ratio of profit to the largest cost of 7.4. Ofthe seven factors that affect the quality of work. Vanda douglas hence significantexplanatory variable to response variable is farmer age, orchid sale price, long farmingand land area.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to analyze the performance of organic vegetable supply chains in each member chain to determine the direction of improvement in the fulfillment of consumer needs optimally. The performance of supply chains at the farm level will be differentiated by individuals and commodities. The analytical method used is the Supply Chain Operational Reference (SCOR) model taking into account the internal and external attributes. The primary data used is taken through observation and interview process, meanwhile secondary data obtained from related institutions. The results of measuring the performance of organic vegetable supply chains at all levels of the responsiveness and flexibility attributes have achieved the superior performance position. Meanwhile, the value of organic vegetable supply chain performance on asset attributes at the farm level only reaches a good position. But at the corporate level has reached the best performance position (superior). In general, the performance of the organic vegetable supply chain on the cost attribute still has not achieved good performance. So there is the need for improvement efforts through minimization of cost in each supply chain activity to improve performance.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, dikenal sebagai penghasil lada putih di pasar internasional dengan nama lada putih muntok. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan produktivitas adalah melalui penggunaan biji lada putih. Benih yang paling banyak digunakan oleh petani adalah varietas Petaling 1, LDK dan Merapen. Sikap petani terhadap pemilihan benih lada putih sangat penting untuk diketahui karena mereka adalah pelaku agribisnis utama yang akan menghasilkan lada putih. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sikap petani terhadap atribut biji lada putih. Penelitian ini melibatkan 60 responden petani lada putih. Analisis menggunakan multi-atribut fishbein menunjukkan bahwa sikap responden lebih memilih varietas biji lada putih Petaling 1 dibandingkan dengan varietas Merapen dan LDK. Kata Kunci: Provinsi Babel, lada putih, multiatribut Fishbein ABSTRACT Bangka Belitung Islands Province, known as a producer of white pepper in the international market with the name of muntok white pepper. One of the efforts to increase productivity is through the use of white pepper seeds. The most used seeds by farmers are varieties Petaling 1, LDK and Merapen. The farmers’ attitude to the selection of white pepper seeds is very important to know because they are the main agribusiness actors that will produce white pepper. The objectives of this research is to analyze the farmers’ attitude on the attributes of white pepper seeds. This research was involved 60 respondents of white pepper farmers. The analysis using fishbein multiattributes showed that the attitude of respondents prefers white pepper seed varieties Petaling 1 compared to Merapen and LDK varieties. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the characteristics of salted fish business in Muara Angke. This research was conducted in Muara Angke, North Jakarta, namely salted fish business. The salted fish business in Muara Angke is the largest fish and fish processing center in Jakarta. Data analysis in this research is qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative analysis using descriptive method to menggambarkandan describe the characteristics of salted fish business in Muara Angke. The results revealed that the characteristics of salted fish business in Muara Angke in general, among others: (1) The majority of businessmen of male sex and salted fish processing business is the main livelihood; (2) The education level of the majority of elementary school graduates; (3) they have sufficient experience in the processing of salted fish, (4) their income is mostly able to fulfill their daily needs (5) The business capital is obtained as personal capital; (6) the standard of living and welfare of salted fish farmers in general is still low, due to the small scale of business, and the majority of salted fish business is oriented only on the fulfillment of daily needs. Keywords: characteristic, salted fish, UMKM
