Abstract

Abstract The Tiktok Shop problem is getting hotter day by day. One side believes that Tiktok Shop can be a vehicle for MSMEs to expand their network and increase their market share. However, on the other hand, Tiktok Shop is actually considered a threat and challenge for MSMEs to develop their business because Tiktok Shop is different from other e-commerce, especially regarding the presence of foreign products, procedures that are not carried out well, and it is suspected that Tiktok also acts as a seller so that Tiktok Shop is too overpowered and has a big potential to kill MSME businesses. Moreover, MSMEs are the cornerstone of the Indonesian economy. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the existence of the Tiktok Shop for MSMEs, whether it is an opportunity or a threat. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. This research uses secondary data obtained by researchers from scientific journals, books, credible websites and other reliable sources. The analysis technique in this research uses observation analysis techniques, data collection, data selection, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the existence of Tiktpk Shop for MSMEs is more of a threat than an opportunity. Keywords : Tiktok Shop, MSMEs, Challenges, Oportunity.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of lifestyle, digital wallets and financial literacy on the financial behavior of students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Manado State University (FEB-UNIMA). The background of this study is based on the phenomenon of student financial behavior that tends to be consumptive, has difficulty saving, and does not understand the importance of long-term financial planning. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method by distributing questionnaires to active students majoring in Management and Accounting, class of 2021–2024 who use digital wallets and are recipients of KIP-Kuliah scholarships. The data analysis technique used is Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS 4 software. The results of the study show that lifestyle, digital wallet, and financial literacy simultaneously have a significant effect on student financial behavior. Partially, the three variables also have a significant effect. Thus, this study emphasizes the importance of improving financial literacy as well as managing lifestyle and using digital wallets wisely to create healthy financial behavior in students.

Abstract

Employee performance is a strategic issue in public organizations because it directly affects the quality, timeliness, and accountability of public services. In regional government institutions, performance improvement is frequently linked to human resource development efforts especially improving educational qualifications, implementing relevant training, and maintaining job satisfaction. This study investigates the influence of education level, training, and job satisfaction on employee performance at the Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPRD) Department of North Sulawesi Province. This research employed a quantitative correlational design. The population consisted of 145 employees, while the sample comprised 94 respondents selected through purposive sampling with a minimum tenure criterion of three years. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption testing, and regression analysis with IBM SPSS. The results indicate that education level, training, and job satisfaction significantly affect employee performance both partially and simultaneously. The multiple regression model obtained was Y = 11.086 + 0.135X₁ + 0.137X₂ + 0.018X₃, where Y is employee performance, X₁ is education level, X₂ is training, and X₃ is job satisfaction. Partial tests showed significant effects for education level (t = 47.089, sig = 0.002), training (t = 50.328, sig = 0.000), and job satisfaction (t = 34.241, sig = 0.003). Simultaneously, the three predictors significantly influenced performance (F = 69.534; sig = 0.001), with Adjusted R² = 0.812, meaning 81.2% of the variance in employee performance was explained by the three variables. The findings suggest that public agencies seeking to strengthen performance should prioritize (1) structured educational development aligned with job demands, (2) equitable access to relevant training programs supported by evaluation, and (3) organizational policies that enhance job satisfaction through work environment improvements, fair compensation perceptions, supervisory support, and clear career pathways.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk menelaah sejauh mana penguasaan teknologi, partisipasi dalam organisasi, dan kemampuan adaptasi memengaruhi kesiapan kerja mahasiswa FEB UNIMA. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada mahasiswa aktif FEB UNIMA dengan total populasi sebesar 280 orang. Sebanyak 74 responden dianggap layak setelah serangkaian skrining yang bertujuan untuk menghilangkan bias dalam penelitian ini. Selanjutnya, data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, regresi linier berganda, uji t, dan uji F dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara bersama-sama (simultan), variabel penguasaan teknologi, keaktifan berorganisasi, dan adaptabilitas memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa. Namun, ketika dianalisis secara parsial, penguasaan teknologi tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja, sementara keaktifan berorganisasi dan adaptabilitas terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan dalam meningkatkan kesiapan kerja mahasiswa FEB UNIMA. Dengan demikian, perlu dorongan bagi mahasiswa untuk bersikap proaktif dalam melibatkan diri dalam organisasi sebagai wadah untuk belajar dan mempersiapkan diri dalam dunia kerja yang penuh dinamika This study was conducted to explain the extent to which technological mastery, organizational participation, and adaptability affect the work readiness of FEB UNIMA students. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach, with data collection through questionnaires distributed to active students of FEB UNIMA, with a total population of 280 people. A total of 74 respondents were considered eligible after a series of screenings aimed at eliminating bias in this study. Furthermore, the collected data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, t-test, and F-test with the help of SPSS software. The results showed that together (simultaneously), the variables of mastery of technology, organizational activeness,and adaptability have a positive and significant influence on student work readiness. However, when analyzed partially, mastery of technology does not have a significant effect on work readiness, while organizational activeness and adaptability are proven to have a positive and significant influence on increasing the work readiness of FEB UNIMA students. Thus, it is necessary to encourage students to be proactive in involving themselves in organizations as a forum for learning and preparing themselves in a dynamic world of work

Abstract

The major problem facing by the Regional Secretariat of Minahasa Regency is the lack of leaders’ attention to employees’ motivation and passion at work. This study aims to measure the relationship between leadership and employees’ work motivation in the Regional Secretariat Office of Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. It occupies a central role in advancing employees’ work motivation and passion. This study uses a quantitative method to measure leadership’s effect on employees’ motivation and work passion. Questionnaires were used as the main instrument to obtain the data. These questionnaires were distributed to all respondents in this study. This study’s population was predominantly made up of twenty-four employees in the Regional Secretariat Office of Minahasa Regency. Due to the limited population (24 employees), this study used all of the population as the samples. The results of this study showed a significant relationship between leadership and employees’ motivation. Since leadership is directing and influencing employees’ activity process, leaders should diligently extend it to their organizations utmost.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The quality of school administrative services plays an important role in supporting the effectiveness of educational management and the satisfaction of school stakeholders, as it directly affects the smooth implementation of academic and non-academic activities. This study aims to analyze the quality of administrative services, identify the obstacles encountered, and describe efforts to improve services at SMA Negeri 1 Tomohon. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using observation, in-depth interviews, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) for data collection. The research informants consisted of the principal, administrative staff, teachers, students, and parents as users of school administrative services. This approach enabled the researcher to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the actual conditions of administrative services from various perspectives. The findings revealed that the administrative services had been implemented in an orderly, structured, and responsive manner according to users’ needs. However, the main obstacles were the limited optimization of system digitalization, limited human resources, and workload fluctuations that affected service effectiveness during certain periods. Improvement efforts were carried out through regular service evaluations, the development of digital archiving systems, and the enhancement of administrative staff competencies through training. In addition, institutional commitment became an important supporting factor in promoting sustainable service improvement. Therefore, strengthening an integrated digital-based administrative system is a key strategy for creating more effective, adaptive, and user-oriented services in the modern education era. ABSTRAK Kualitas layanan administrasi sekolah memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung efektivitas manajemen pendidikan dan kepuasan warga sekolah karena berpengaruh langsung terhadap kelancaran kegiatan akademik maupun nonakademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas layanan administrasi, mengidentifikasi hambatan yang dihadapi, serta mendeskripsikan upaya peningkatan layanan di SMA Negeri 1 Tomohon. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Informan penelitian terdiri atas kepala sekolah, staf administrasi, guru, siswa, dan orang tua sebagai pengguna layanan administrasi sekolah. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan peneliti memperoleh pemahaman yang komprehensif mengenai kondisi riil pelayanan administrasi dari berbagai perspektif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan administrasi telah berjalan cukup tertib, terstruktur, dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan pengguna. Namun, kendala utama masih ditemukan pada belum optimalnya digitalisasi sistem, keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, serta fluktuasi beban kerja yang memengaruhi efektivitas pelayanan pada periode tertentu. Upaya peningkatan dilakukan melalui evaluasi layanan secara berkala, pengembangan sistem pengarsipan digital, dan peningkatan kompetensi tenaga administrasi melalui pelatihan. Selain itu, komitmen kelembagaan menjadi faktor penting dalam mendukung perbaikan layanan secara berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, penguatan sistem administrasi berbasis digital yang terintegrasi menjadi strategi utama dalam menciptakan layanan yang lebih efektif, adaptif, dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan pengguna di era pendidikan modern.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of organizational culture and work motivation both partially and simultaneously on the effectiveness of employee work in five hotels in Tomohon And Tondano Cities. For the method used in this study, namely the quantitative method using a sample of 73 employees, and to analyze the data in this study, multiple regression analysis was used. The results found in this study, namely organizational culture and work motivation, both partially and collectively, affect the effectiveness of employee work. Presumably, with the conduct of this study, parties from the five hotels in Tomohon and Tondano Cities can fix the shortcomings that affect the effectiveness of employee work as explained in this study, as well as for subsequent researchers who will conduct research with the same variables and objects as those in this study, not plagiarizing from this study, but rather it only makes this research a reference or reference.
