Abstract

To achieve educational goals, it is expected that there are qualified teachers. But in fact, there are still many teachers who behave defiantly. One solution to solve this problem is to return to the books of the scholars. This research method is a qualitative method with the type of library research. The purpose of this study was to explore the competencies of Islamic Education teachers in the book Tadzkiratus Saami by Ibn Jamaah and their relevance to contemporary education. In this study, it was found that there are 5 PAI teacher competencies in his book and his thoughts are relevant to contemporary education. Through his knowledge of education, it is hoped that contemporary education can adopt and apply it.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of a strengthening program of religious character education for students in SMP Negeri 13 Padang which is accredited A in the city of Padang, West Sumatra. The research uses qualitative methods through a case study approach. Research data sources are taken from fourteen informants consisting of school principals, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and students of class IX.8 Research data were taken through in-depth interviews with all informants. The results showed that the implementation of the program for strengthening the religious character education of students at SMP Negeri 13 Padang had four supporting factors including the existence of a student character strengthening book, the desire of students, supporting religious activities, and adequate facilities and infrastructure. While the five inhibiting factors include: environment, peers, and cellphones. self-awareness of students themselves and lack of teacher supervision.

Abstract

Pendidikan Surau adalah lembaga pendidikan yang lahir dari rahim kultural masyarakat Minangkabau. Sejauh yang dapat ditelusuri, sebagai bentuk awalnya adalah surau yang dirintis oleh Syekh Burhanuddin Ulakan pada akhir abad 17 di Ulakan Pariaman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan metode kualitatif karena terdapatnya kepentingan terhadap penafsiran dan mencari makna dari teks-teks tertulis. Di kalangan tokoh-tokoh kaum tua pembaruan pendidikan dilakukan dengan mendirikan madrasah sebagai pengganti surau dan mendirikan organisasi seperti Ittihad Ulama Sumatera di Bukittinggi tahun 1921 yang dipimpin oleh Syaikh Sa’ad Mungka, Persatuan Madrasah-madrasah Tarbiyah di Bukittinggi tahun 1928 yang kemudian dirobah menjadi Persatuan Tarbiyah Islamiyah di Bukittinggi pada tahun 1931 yang ketuanya adalah Sultha’in atau sulthani Dt Rajo Dubalang. Sedangkan di kalangan kaum muda yang memiliki karakteristik sebagai gerakan pemurnian agama, pembaharuan dalam pemikiran dan pemahaman ajaran-ajaran agama dan modernisasi dalam pendidikan, sosial, dan politik, mendirikian sekolah-sekolah di antaranya Madras School oleh Syaikh Muhammad Thaib Umar (1874-1920), Madrasah Thawalib Padang Panjang tahun 1921 oleh Syaikh Abdul Karim Amrullah (1879-1949), Adabiyah School tahun 1909 Di Padang Panjang, dan mendirikan PGAI tahun 1919 di Padang oleh Syaikh Abdullah Ahmad (1878-1933) dan lain-lain.

Abstract

In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and the disaster of the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the human life. Humans are required to change their life perspective. The spirit is needed to survive, accompanying change, and is expected to become a locomotive for the changing of life and turn the obstacle become oportunities. This research was descriptive qualitative research. It describe the resilience and maturity of Islamic religious teachers in the industrial revolution 4.0 era and during the covid 19 pandemic. The survival and maturity of religious teachers can be seen from their activities in AGPAII. Islam as a religion revealed by Allah has the values ​​that immunize its adherents to survive and even become pioneers in their lives and civilizations. Through the AGIL analysis approach, this research shows that religious teachers who are well prepared and can survive, can be seen from the quantity and types of AGPAII activities during the Covid 19 pandemic. Religious values ​​play a strategic role to survive and to adapt and even be able to produce creative innovations

Abstract

maritime potential and requires commitment, multi-sectoral support that is developed in a planned, integrated and balanced manner. Tourism development must be able to mobilize all sectors of community life and need to be imbued with the basis of Minangkabau religious, social and cultural norms and must be directed to the preservation of religious and cultural values. The integration of tourism development issues in the Mandeh Region with issues of religious life development is intended so that development can develop in a positive and productive direction. Nyalo Mudiak Aia River. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observation and documentation methods. Data analysis in this study used the analytical method by Milles and Huberman in Sugiono (2009:16) which included data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. This study reveals that there are potential candidates for cadres to drive the religious life of the Nyalo Mudiak Aia River community with the community's interest in sending their children to religious schools and colleges. The participation of the government and universities is very strategic in realizing the continuity of good religious life, including in the form of providing facilities (enabling) and empowering in the form of mentoring the religious life of the community.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the education system of Syattariyah Tarekat in Nagari Ulakan in the 21st century. The method used in this study is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. This research was conducted in Nagari Ulakan. Data was collected by interview, observation, and documentation methods. The data that has been collected is then analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Validation of the data in this study using triangulation of sources, in which researchers compare data or information obtained in the field and then compare it with books, journals and all references related to the tarekat syattariyah education system. The results of the study show that the Syattariyah tarekat education system in Ulakan is still guided by the Syattariyah council professor in Indonesia, named Sheikh Abdurrauf as-Singkili, in the 21st century. Although in reality, on the ground there are some things that are slightly different from what Sheikh Abdurrauf as-Singkili formulated, this does not become an obstacle or reduce the interest of the Ulakan community to continue to study and adhere to the teachings.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the educational values contained in the Malamang tradition which includes the values of religious, social, moral and cultural education. As well as the implementation of the Malamang tradition. This research is a qualitative research with phenomenology research method. Data were obtained using interview, observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the educational values contained in the Malamang tradition in the people of Padang Pariaman Regency already exist, but some people still believe in this Malamang tradition as a ritual to mediate the safety of people who have meningeal. The Malamang tradition basically contains the cultural values of its bearer (Minangkabau) which should be inherited by today's society, such as the values of spiritual education (remembering to die and patience), social (cooperation, mutual cooperation), moral (unity and unity) and culture, because making lamang is done jointly by the community

Abstract

Persoalan krisis spiritual dialami manusia modern saat ini, beberapa pakar menyikapi permasalahan tersebut untuk kembali pada nilai-nilai agama. Hal ini dikarenakan nilai-nilai agama diyakini mampu mengatasi dan mengentaskan permasalahan krisis, yang dimaksud ialah nilai agama yang memilki dimensi spiritual. Penulis membahas nilai-nilai spiritual, melalui sebuah karya kitab klasik di abad pertengahan, dengan judul yang cukup terkenal di kalangan cendikiawan dan sejarawan, yakni kitab ‘Rihlah Ibnu Bathuthah’. Memuat tentang perjalanan seorang penjelajah Muslim pertama yang ditempuh oleh Ibnu Bathuthah dengan ragam pengalaman. Dalam melakukan penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan pendekatan studi pustaka (library research) dan teori Hermeneutika. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penulis menemukan kajian pada nilai-nilai spiritual dalam narasi-narasi kitab Rihlah Ibnu Bathuthah dengan temuan aspek nilai-nilai maqamat seperti taubat, wara’, syukur, tawakkal, ridha dan zuhud, pada nilai-nilai ahwal seperti raja’, khauf, mahabbah, sabar, yaqin dan muraqabah yang relevan dengan ilmu tasawuf, sebagai indikasi yang menunjukkan interpretasi dari sisi subjektif dengan teori-teori pendukung yang menggambarkan implikasi dari nilai-nilai spiritual dalam rihlah Ibnu Bathuthah .

Abstract

UUSPN  No. 20 tahun 2003 pasal 1 ayat 1 telah mengatur bahwa pendidikan sebagai usaha sadar dan terencana harus diwujudkan dalam suasana belajar dan proses pembelajaran yang memungkinkan peserta didik secara aktif dapat mengembangkan potensi dirinya untuk memiliki kekuatan spiritual keagamaan, pengendalian diri, kecerdasan, akhlak mulia, serta keterampilan yang diperlukan dirinya, masyarakat, bangsa dan Negara. Hal ini kurang terimplementasi dengan baik pada tataran praktis dunia pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan relevansi pendidikan berbasis spiritual pada sekolah dan madrasah di era revolusi industry 4.0. Sebagai penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan melakukan penelitian pada objek berupa penelusuran ide-ide dan khasanah pemikiran pada sumber-sumber kepustakaan, penelitian ini termasuk kategori penelitian kualitatif karena terdapatnya kepentingan terhadap penafsiran dan mencari makna dari teks-teks tertulis. Pendidikan Berbasis Spiritual memainkan peran yang sangat strategis dalam membentuk enam kualitas karakter yaitu kualitas spiritualitas tauhid, pembelajar, kreatif, kolaboratif, bertanggung jawab (takwa), dan karakter syakirin. Kualitas karakter ini merupakan syarat pending yang harus dimiliki sivitas sekolah dan madrasah untuk tetap bisa survive pada perubahan dan mampu menciptakan perubahan-perubahan.,

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of knowing the history, process and values of Islamic education contained in the tradition of descending baths in Tanah Garam Village, Solok City.This type of research is qualitative using an ethnographic approach. Sources of data in this study are informants who come from religious leaders, traditional leaders, community leaders and the community of Tanah Garam Village, Solok City. Data collection techniques in this study through observation, interviews and documentation.From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the descending bathing tradition was carried out after the entry of Islam to Minangkabau. The implementation of the tradition of taking a bath as a form of obedience to Allah's command, namely aqikah. The series of descending bathing traditions begins with the procession of the mother bako, bathing the baby, stepping over the fire, smoking the baby and praying together. While the values of Islamic education contained in the descending bath tradition are the value of gratitude, the value of friendship, the value of mutual cooperation, the value of alms, the value of honoring guests, the value of caring, and the value of worship.
