Abstract

The designed online class is used to provide additional values to the learning process in theDepartment of Informatics Engineering of University of Palangka Raya. It basically does notreplace the entire learning process because the learning process is thus far implemented in theclassroom. Yet,the application of online classroom provides extra features, such as creating writtenmaterials directly on the web and uploading the materials in PDF or PPT which then can beobtained directly by students on the web. Students can upload their given assignments on the web aswell; therefore the lecturers no longer need to bring a stack of printed reports or papers of thestudent assignments.Modeling application of online class in this research aims at applying UML-based WebEngineering method (UWE) apart from waterfall engineering method which is often taught to thestudents of Department of Informatics Engineering of University of Palangka Raya.The result of this research shows that the website program on online class can be implementedby the lecturers and students majoring in Informatics Engineering by applying model application ofUML-based Web Engineering method (UWE).

Abstract

The selection of outstanding students at SMA Muhammadiyah in Central Katingan Districtis conducted to appreciate the excellent students in order to be more motivated and activein learning activities. Building a website-based information system can apply the waterfallmethod and Weighted Product Method (WP) in its manufacture. The software developmentmethod used in making the support system for the students selection is the weighted productmethod (case study: SMA Muhammadiyah in Central Katingan District) . This waterfallmethod according to Sommerville (2011) includes 5 (five) stages namely requirementdefinition, system and software design, implementation and unit testing, integration andsystem settings, operation and maintenance.Application testing is conducted using the blackbox testing method, where the results of thetest can see that the overall website-based decision support system is functions properly.However, it is expected that this application can continue to be developed and optimized forits use in the future, especially in terms of available features.

Abstract

The application of information technology in the field of Human Resource Management greatly facilitates the work of administrative issues in relation to Human Resource. The use of information technology in the processes requires well-trained human resources. As a company that has several units, the Human Resources who work at PT. JAMKRIDA are expected to have good performance to support the company's progress. Therefore, a performance evaluation system is needed. Decision support system used the Weighted product method to complete the calculation. Software development methodology applied waterfall starting from the requitments definition, system and software design to the implementation phase made by PHP and MyAdmin database, and black box testing. It is concluded that decision support system for evaluating the employee’s performances does assessment by using criteria and items of assessments referring to PT. Jamkrida. Assessments are carried out online so it is expected to replace the manual old system.

Abstract

The internet technology has been progressed very rapidly along by the time. It has resulted onefacility that is used in many aspects of living sector, known as website. Now, in the globalization era,website is used widely in many sectors of life such as education, social, health and business.This journal aims to create an information website of Electronic Farmer Agricultural OfficePulang Pisau Regency which uses notepad + +, PHP script and MySQL database that can be used onthe Windows operating system.The method that is used in collecting data such as interview by doing question and answerdirectly to the section that is connected to the object of the study. Direct observation is used to conveythe information. That is progressing in Electronic Farmer Agricultural Office Pulang Pisau Regencywith implementation SMS Gateway as a means of disseminating information to farmers andsurrounding communities. The literature review in collecting data by learning literature books aboutplan and design of one system. System design and data base planning are used by data flow diagram tocreate system model and entity relational diagram that describe the model of data relation.It is hoped the presence of this website can help the Agricultural Office Pulang Pisau Regencyin publish information Agricultural Office and information about farmers widely through the internetor by using SMS so that help people get information about Agricultural Office Pulang Pisau Regencyand information on prices of agricultural products.

Abstract

Learning hijaiyah letters is one alternative to understand Arabic. Basically it is used to read Al-Qur’an in the initial stages. The introduction of hijaiyah letters is an important element to educate the children in comprehending religious knowledge. Therefore, it needs an appropriate learning method or media and exact strategy to deliver it in early childhood stage so that it will contribute well in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to create a media to introduce and to learn hijaiyah letters with 2D animation on android-based to facilitate that knowledge especially for children. This application is equipped with cartoon characters image and quiz menu to practice children’s ability in recognizing hijaiyah letters. This application can produce sound pronunciation of hijaiyah letters and the children can learn to write the letters as well. This application is created using Android Studio, wavePad sound editor and CorelDRAW X7 for drawing and coloring. The method used is Luther-Sutopo, while the data collection applies literature search and interviews. This application can be installed on smartphones with the Android operating system for at least 4.2 (Jellybeand) version. The results of the questionnaire show that the responses from the users are in average value of 92.67% so that this application is worthy to be the appropriate hijaiyah letters learning

Abstract

There are several factors causing wildfire such as human error, gas leak, and electric short circuit. Those causes should be rapidly controlled. In case of that urgency, the tools to detect immediate fire is needed to give earlier warning quickly and automatically. In designing the detector,the use of several supporting components is also needed to construct the series of board Microcontroler ATmega16, temperature sensor LM35, fire sensor Flame V2, Modem Wavecom, and Alarm Bazzer, and the additional technology in the form of sms. The results of the prototype is to provide eralier warning via sms and alarm, the warning contains the recent conditation of the temparature. If the system of the micro-controller detects the abnormal temperature from the both sensor, the detector will send the notification to the user. Firthermore, the user directly receive the information and can give the quick responses to protect or to overcome the fire.

Abstract

AbstrakPada Unit Pelayanan Teknis Kesatuan Pengelolaan Hutan Produksi (UPT-KPHP) Kapuas Tengah Unit XI  Kapuas Tengah Unit XI dalam melaksanakan tugasnya masih belum menerapkan sistem informasi untuk memfasilitasi pengolahan data pegawai, pengolahan Daftar Urut Kepangkatan, pengolahan Sasaran Kerja Pegawai (SKP), pengolahan Penilaian Kerja Pegawai (PKP), serta Kenaikan Pangkat untuk jabatan struktural. Hal tersebut menimbulkan beberapa masalah bagi UPT-KPHP Kapuas Tengah Unit XI seperti penyimpanan informasi dalam bentuk cetakkan pada kertas, pencarian suatu berkas yang disimpan pada rak-rak berkas, kerusakan atau kehilangan arsip, dan sarana penyimpanan arsip. Sehingga, penyelesaian dari masalah ini adalah dibangunnya sebuah sistem informasi kepegawaian berbasis website bagi UPT-KPHP Kapuas Tengah Unit XI. Sistem Informasi Kepegawaian dirancang dan dibangun metodologi waterfall menurut Ian Sommerville. Adapun tahapannya yaitu Requirements Definition, System dan Software Design,  Implementation and Unit Testing, Integration and System Testing, Operation and Maintenance. Pada tahap Requirements Definition dilakukan pembuatan flowchart. Pada tahap System dan Software Design dilakukan pembuatan Data Flow Diagram (DFD) dan Entity Relational Diagram (ERD). Metode testing yang digunakan website ini adalah metode Blackbox. Sistem informasi kepegawaian ini dapat digunakan untuk memfasilitasi pembuatan SKP dan PKP oleh pegawai dan pimpinan, mengajukan usulan pangkat untuk jabatan structural, penyusunan Data Urut Kepangkatan,  dan membantu staff administrasi mengelola data kepegawaian. Kata Kunci: Sistem Informasi Kepegawaian, SKP, PKP, waterfall  AbstractIn carrying its duties, Unit of Technical Management of Unitary Forest Production in Central Kapuas Unit XI, had not yet implemented an information system to facilitate data processing of employees, process the rank of grade, organize employee performance objectives, process employee performance assessment, and manage the promotions for structural positions. It caused several problems for the unit such as storing information in the form of paper print, searching for a file in the stored file shelves, and damaging of archives or storing archives. Thus, the solution to this problem was the construction of a website-based personnel information system for Central Kapuas Unit XI.The personnel information system is designed and built a waterfall methodology by Ian Sommerville. There are some stages; Requirements Definition, System and Software Design, Implementation and Unit Testing, Integration and System Testing, Operation and Maintenance. Requirements Definition stage is conducted by creating a flowchart. While in System and Software Design stage, there is creation of Data Flow Diagram (DFD) and Entity Relational Diagram (ERD). The testing method used by this website is the Blackbox method.This personnel information system is used to facilitate the manufacture of employee performance objectives and employee performance assessment from the the employees to employer, submit the proposals for structural positions, draft the rank of grades and help administration staff to manage the data of employees. Keywords: Personnel information System, employee performance objectives, employee performance assessment, Waterfall

Abstract

Android is a widely used of technology. Location Based Service (LBS) is an android feature to find the location of user’s device by utilizing satellite facilities. Problems faced by the students in Informatics of Faculty of Engineering are the limited number of lecturing rooms and the lack information of the use of those rooms. LBS feature on android will answer those existing problems. The methodology for development is Prototype by Pressman which has saveral stages namely (1) communication and initial data collection, (2) quick design, (3) formation of prototype, (4) evaluation of prototype, (5) improvement of prototype and (6) final production. Flowchart is made at analysis stage as well as Unified Modeling Language (UML) at the design stage. The language programs are Java, JSON, SQLite. Map plans are designed through Google Earth Pro and Edraw Max 7 placed on the Google Map API where data storage is made in the Firebase and SQLite online databases as local databases with application development created by Android Studio. Application of Location Based Service (LBS) in Faculty of Engineering of University of Palangka Raya is applied the Google Map API by each marker point being made which generates various radius. When the application user enters into each radius, it will produce a notification of room information that contains lectures taking place in the rooms. Therefore, the rooms associated with lectures is identified

Abstract

All that requires a media to understand each other and understand one another. The media is language. Language is a medium for communication so cooperation will be created in various aspects. English is the connecting language used as a medium of communication between countries in the world. But some people find it difficult when learning English. The difficulty experienced is due to a lack of understanding of grammar, one of which includes tenses. Learning media as a means of improving the quality of education is very important in the learning process. The research methodology used is waterfall method as an application development methodology. The first step to do is to analyze the needs of the system made, including library research, data collection, consultation, and design. From this analysis a system design using usecase diagrams, activity diagrams and class diagrams is made as a system design to be made. After the system is designed, the next step is to write the program code. At writing the programming language program code used is java, android studio and genymotion as an emulator. Blacbox test results show the software can find out the functions that are not correct, interface errors, performance errors and functionally produce the expected results.

Abstract

Transport service or usually called travel1 is an inter-city transportation that many people use in Palangkaraya to travel among the cities. However, many people do not know the location of transport services in Palangkaraya and the informations obtained is still limited. Thus a system that provides computerized geographic information is needed. This study discusses the mapping of locations of transport services, location search, location data filters and the determination of the shortest path using the Dijkstra algorithm. For system development, it will apply the waterfall method. It is expected that the availability of a web-based system as a place to provide geographic information on the location of travel services is presented using the Google map API. In this study, the testing results for determining the shortest route on the public transport route can be determined by the Dijkstra algorithm. The transportation route is considered as a directed and weighted graph; the point represents a stop, and; side is as a vehicle lane. In the testing, firstly the user inputs the starting point on the map then looks for the destination on the destination search map, the system will display the initial shortest route output to the destination.
