Abstract

In today's learning process, we are required to be able to adapt to the digital world. One of the points to pay attention to is making learning videos. Students in the latest curriculum are required to be creative and produce learning videos. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out training in making learning videos on mathematics subjects with the help of Filmora video editing software to then upload them to the YouTube channel. The implementation of the service is aimed at final (seventh) semester students with the hope that when they graduate and finish studying and enter the world of work in the education sector, they will be equipped with optimal abilities, one of which is being able to produce learning videos. The first thing that the service lecturer does is observe students who will be given training, specifically students in the seventh semester of the Mathematics Education study program by giving pre-tests and post-tests. From the pre-test results, it is known that before the treatment (training) was carried out, the value of understanding learning videos was 30%, understanding the use of learning video software 20% and understanding channels for uploading learning videos on the internet 30%. After training and making learning videos, student understanding increased to 70% for learning videos, 60% for learning video software, and 70% for uploading learning videos on the internet. It is hoped that activities like this will be carried out regularly in order to provide education and enlightenment to parties who need it.

Abstract

Reading literacy and mathematics literacy are important focuses in the Minimum Competency Assessment launched by the government. This study aims to provide an overview of how teachers in schools design numeracy literacy questions and factors that affect the design process. The subjects in this study are 14 subject teachers at one of the Tsanawiyah Madrasah in Sleman, Yogyakarta. The data collected were in the form of teacher designs, field notes, and interview results. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the question design made by the teacher, it can be seen that most teachers choose to design reading literacy questions rather than numeracy questions. The content selected in literacy is mostly informational text, while for numeracy the largest content is numbers. The cognitive process that is the goal of most problems in literacy is the process of interpretation and integration, while in numeracy problems most of them are at the level of comprehension. Both literacy and numeracy matters, the dominant context used is the personal and scientific context. The factors that affect the design of numeracy literacy questions are the availability of resources and support, curriculum and assessment factors, time and workload factors, and internal teacher factors

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh model pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) berbasis etnomatematikaa terhadap peningkatan kemampuan numerasi peserta didik pada jenjang Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest, dimana satu kelas eksperimen diberikan tes kemampuan numerasi sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model pembelajaran tersebut. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes kemampuan numerasi, jenis data dalam penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari nilai pretes dan posttes peserta didik. Sampel penelitian adalah 12 siswa SMP Muhammadiyah Jetis yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan numerasi peserta didik yang signifikan setelah penerapan model pembelajaran RME berbasis etnomatematikaa yaitu sebesar 23,3%. Uji statistik menghasilkan nilai p=0,000 yang menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi. Pembelajaran berbasis konteks budaya lokal melalui etnomatematikaa membantu peserta didik memahami konsep matematika dengan cara yang lebih mudah diaplikasikan dan relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pengintegrasian budaya lokal ke dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan numerasi peserta didik, sehingga pembelajaran matematika menjadi lebih bermakna dan kontekstual.
