Abstract

Remaja merupakan masa peralihan dari masa anak-anak dan masa dewasa. Depresi pada remaja bukan sekadar perasaan sedih atau stres biasa, melainkan kondisi serius yang permanen dan memengaruhi perilaku, emosi, serta cara berpikir mereka. MBCT dapat melatih remaja mengembangkan metacognitive awareness, yaitu kemampuan untuk mengamati pikiran sebagai peristiwa mental yang sementara, bukan sebagai kebenaran mutlak. Melalui latihan mindfulness, remaja belajar untuk menjadi "pengamat" emosi mereka, menciptakan ruang antara diri mereka dan pengalaman emosional, yang memungkinkan respons yang lebih fleksibel dan adaptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas MBCT dalam menurunkan gejala depresi pada remaja. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dan kualitatif dalam menentukan efektivitas MBCT terhadap depresi pada remaja. Sebanyak 4 subjek dalam penelitian ini diwawancara, dinilai dengan skor BDI-II (Beck Depression Inventory) sebelum dan setelah diberikan MBCT. Analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis non-parametrik dikarenakan subjek yang diteliti hanya 4 orang. Berdasarkan analisis wilcoxon didapatkan hasil tidak signifikan dengan p=0.066, namun dengan besar efek -0.92 yang menandakan adanya efek yang besar dalam penurunan gejala depresi dengan MBCT. Hasil ini ditunjang dengan adanya peningkatan pemahaman remaja terkait depresi dan konsep mindfulness serta peningkatan remaja terkait aplikasi koping emosi yang adaptif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan mengidentifikasi sifat hubungan antara physical activity motivation dengan self-esteem dalam konteks tari rekreasional yang dilakukan oleh individu dewasa awal. Kriteria subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah laki-laki atau perempuan, berusia 18–25 tahun, dan menari sebagai kegiatan rekreasional setidaknya dua kali dalam satu minggu. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Physical Activity and Leisure Motivation Scale (PALMS) yang difinalisasi oleh RoyChowdhury (2012) dan Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) oleh Rosenberg (1965). Teknik analisis data seperti uji asumsi dan uji korelasi menggunakan bantuan software IBM SPSS for Windows versi 26. Hasil dari uji korelasi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara physical activity motivation secara umum dengan self-esteem. Sedangkan untuk masing-masing dimensi, terdapat 6 dimensi yang berhubungan dan 2 dimensi yang tidak memiliki hubungan dengan self-esteem.

Abstract

This study was conducted to identify the risk and protective factors of Indonesian women migrant workers in Malaysia. The risk factors are variables that contribute to one’s psychological stresses, while the protective factors are variables that contribute to one’s mental stability. The “risk and protective” concept is fluid, relative, and often overlaps according to the individuals and situations. Data for the qualitative study was gathered using semi-structured interviews with five Indonesian women migrant workers in Malaysia. The risk factors include family poverty, poor communication, employee conflicts, and workplace hostility. Expertise and professional experience, as well as family and state support, are identified as protective factors. A combination of both protective and risk factors was also discovered, namely the recruitment and departure processes, educational background, work knowledge, working hours, healthcare access, and coping mechanisms. Understanding these aspects allows individuals to take precautions against problems upon arrival in their destination states. An insight provided by this study might inspire the stakeholders to increase international migrant workers’ protection framework and further ensure their human rights.

Abstract

Working from home and schooling from home activities are widely reported to have an impact on parental burnout in parents due to the burden of care that arises when implementing policies to carry out all activities from home during the COVID-19 pandemic. Even though work and school activities have now returned to institutional buildings, it does not rule out the possibility that a pandemic situation will reappear in the future. Hence parents need to learn how to anticipate it. This article aims to provide an overview of the concept of parental burnout which has become a research trend on the theme of families during the pandemic. A search was carried out on the electronic databases namely Web of Science, Google Scholar, and ScienceDirect with the keyword "parental burnout" and produced 10 articles in English that were specifically selected and used for further review. The results of the conceptual review show a framework for parental burnout with dimensions, determinant factors, and impacts.Kegiatan bekerja dari rumah dan bersekolah dari rumah banyak dilaporkan berdampak pada parental burnout pada orang tua karena beban pengasuhan yang muncul ketika penerapan kebijakan untuk melakukan segala kegiatan dari rumah selama pandemi Covid-19. Meskipun saat ini kegiatan bekerja dan bersekolah sudah kembali di lakukan di gedung institusi, namun tidak menutup kemungkinan bahwa situasi pandemi muncul kembali di masa depan sehingga orang tua perlu belajar cara mengantisipasi terjadinya parental burnout. Tujuan ditulisnya artikel ini adalah untuk memberikan tinjauan mengenai konsep parental burnout yang menjadi tren penelitian pada tema keluarga di masa pandemi. Penelusuran dilakukan pada database elektronik Web of Science, Google Scholar, dan ScienceDirect dengan kata kunci “parental burnout” dan menghasilkan 10 artikel berbahasa Inggris yang dipilih secara spesifik dan digunakan untuk ditinjau lebih lanjut. Hasil dari tinjauan konsep menunjukkan karakteristik dari parental burnout yang dapat mengganggu kesejahteraan psikologis orang tua serta risiko dampak iring yang dapat terjadi pada anak dari orang tua yang mengalami parental burnout di masa pandemi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus kepada remaja perempuan korban kekerasan seksual di panti asuhan. Dalam penelitian ini, pelaku pelecehan seksual adalah teman laki-laki yang tinggal di panti yang sama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh pelatihan asertivitas untuk meningkatkan harga diri remaja korban pelecehan seksual yang tinggal di panti asuhan. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari 4 orang dengan rentang usia 12-18 tahun. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen one group pre and posttest design. Metode pengambilan data dilakukan melalui skala psikologi, wawancara dan observasi. Prosedur intervensi yang dilakukan dibagi menjadi 3 bagian utama yaitu pembukaan (pre-test/baseline), pelatihan dan terminasi (post-test). Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Coopersmith’s Self-Esteem Inventory (CSEI) dan Coopersmith’s Behavior Rating Form (BRF) For Self-Esteem. Prosedur intervensi yang dilakukan terdiri dari 6 sesi yaitu: relationship control (behavioral contracting), systematic rational restructuring: memberikan dan menerima pujian, mengekspresikan perasaan, menyampaikan permintaan, mengatakan ‘tidak’ pada permintaan yang tidak rasional dan behavioral rehearsal. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai p = 0.26 (p < .05) yang berarti terjadi peningkatan harga diri pada remaja putri yang mengalami pelecehan seksual di panti asuhan setelah pelatihan asertivitas.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the relationship between assertiveness and dating violence on female victims in late adolescence. Dating violence in this study refers to the victim’s experience, there are the use of negotiation, psychological aggression, physical assault, sexual coercion, and injury. There where 108 female respondents aged 17-20 years who had experienced dating violence participated in this study. Researchers conducted a survey as a data collection method that had been arranged through an online questionnaire, uses the Assertiveness scale to measure assertiveness and The Revised Conflict Tactics Scale (CTS2) to measure dating violence. In this study, the entire process of data analysis will be carried out by Jamovi for Windows 2.3.21. The researcher conducted an assumption test and correlation tes between assertiveness and 5 dimensions of dating violence in CTS2. From the results of data analysis, it is known that the assertiveness is negatively correlated with 5 dimensions of dating violence with a significance value <0.05. Thus, the lower the assertiveness, the more it spurs dating violence. Vice versa, the higher the assertiveness, the lower dating violence.Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mengetahui hubungan antara asertivitas dengan kekerasan dalam pacaran pada korban perempuan remaja akhir. Kekerasan dalam pacaran pada penelitian ini mengacu pada pengalaman korban, yaitu penggunaan negosiasi, agresi psikologis, serangan fisik, pemaksaan, dan cedera. Sebanyak 108 responden remaja akhir berjenis kelamin perempuan dengan rentang usia 17-20 tahun dan pernah mengalami kekerasan dalam pacaran telah berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Peneliti melakukan survei sebagai metode pengumpulan data, yaitu dalam bentuk kuesioner daring dengan menggunakan skala Asertivitas untuk mengukur asertivitas dan The Revised Conflict Tactics Scale (CTS2) untuk mengukur kekerasan dalam pacaran. Pada penelitian ini seluruh proses analisis data akan dilakukan dengan bantuan software Jamovi for Windows 2.3.21. Peneliti melakukan uji asumsi dan uji korelasi antara variabel asertivitas dan 5 dimensi kekerasan dalam pacaran pada CTS2. Dari hasil analisis data penelitian, diketahui bahwa variabel asertivitas berkorelasi secara negatif dengan 5 dimensi kekerasan dalam pacaran dengan nilai signifikansi <0,05. Artinya, semakin rendah asertivitas individu maka semakin tinggi kekerasan dalam pacaran yang dialami. Begitu pula sebaliknya, semakin tinggi asertivitas individu maka semakin rendah kekerasan dalam pacaran yang dialami.

Abstract

In the domestic context, physical violence often affects women and results in deep psychophysical trauma. This research examines the impact of violence on the process of searching for meaning in life among women victims of violence from their husbands by considering resilience and post-traumatic adaptation. This research uses a qualitative approach, applying an instrumental case study design to explore this complex phenomenon. A total of five women who experienced physical violence from their partners and who already had children were selected as participants through snowball and convenience sampling techniques. Qualitative data was collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using data reduction, data presentation and verification techniques to obtain a holistic and in-depth understanding of the subjective experiences of the participants. The results showed wide variation in the meaningfulness of life felt by participants, which was rooted in their unique experiences. The crisis resulting from violence becomes a starting point in the process of finding meaning, which leads to the formulation of new life goals, redefinition of personal freedom, increased life satisfaction, and a reflective attitude towards death. This research reveals that, despite experiencing a wide range of traumatic conditions, women have the power to find meaning and wholeness in life, offering new insights into resilience and self-healing.

Abstract

This study aims to explore factors of child marriage and experiences of girls married below 18 in Afghanistan. A scoping review was conducted in accordance with the PRISMA-ScR procedure. Articles were searched from Science Direct, Scopus, Google Scholar and WoS databases. There were seven journal articles that were included based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria set. Meta-synthesis method was used in this research. We found many factors that exist in Afghanistan namely; poverty, illiteracy and luck of access to education, war and instability, cultural and traditional practices, ethnicity and geography and misinterpretation of religious texts are among the main ones. Consequently, girls suffer from many types of violence (physical, emotional and sexual, and other) and psychosocial problems. In spite of these facts there was no specific study in terms of psychological impacts, income level, cultural and religious background, and psychosocial impacts of child marriage based on the findings of this study.

Abstract

Indonesia's geographical location makes it a potential country to experience natural disasters. As a vulnerable group, children need to receive information on preparedness for natural disasters. Therefore, the community service team designed and implemented the "PETACANA” as a disaster psychoeducation program at the school level. PETACANA aims to increase students' awareness of the risks of natural disasters and their impacts, as well as increase students' knowledge about mitigation and preparedness in facing them. The PETACANA was implemented at SDN Kalipang 01 Blitar on June 17th, 2023 involving 60 students from grades IV and V in elementary school. The program was carried out through lecture, group discussions, and creating disaster education posters. Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test showed that the PETACANA Program was significantly increased students' knowledge regarding risks, impacts, mitigation, and preparedness in facing natural disasters. Thus, schools need to implement disaster education programs to increase students' preparedness in facing disasters.

Abstract

Individual psychological health can be seen from the health of the skin. Some skin diseases such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis can be exacerbated by psychological problems. Based on this, a collaboration between specialist doctors and psychologists is needed to screen for psychological disorders in sufferers. One psychological screening instrument is the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS)-21; this study aims to test its validity and reliability. Non-probability convenience sampling was employed, and 292 participants aged 18-54 were willing to take part in the study. An internal structure validity test was conducted using confirmatory factor analysis, while concurrent validity was assessed by correlating DASS-21 with PHQ-9, GAD-7 and PSS scores. The reliability test was analyzed using composite reliability. The results of the CFA analysis showed that the data matched Lovibond's theory and that all DASS-21 items were valid (RMSEA =.076, CFI=.961, TLI = .955, SRMR = .065). The results of the concurrent analysis showed that the three scales had a positive correlation with the dimensions of DASS-21, while the reliability results showed a satisfactory value (.850 – .923). The results of the study indicate that DASS-21 is a valid and reliable instrument and can be used to measure depression, anxiety and stress in individuals with psoriasis and atopic dermatitis.
