Abstract

PT Barokah Galangan Perkasa is a company located in East Kalimantan that is engaged in the manufacturing, repair, and maintenance of ships. The welding activity is the most dominant in shipbuilding, but the implementation of the occupational health and safety (OHS) system is not optimal. There have been several work accidents in the upper accommodation and cargo oil tank areas, such as falling from a height, being hit by welding sparks, and an electrical short circuit. The working conditions in this area are quite risky. Therefore, research on risk analysis is needed. HIRARC is a method for identifying a problem that is assessed at risk based on the likelihood and severity where the results of the assessment can determine the level of risk and give risk control for each work activity. Research results show that there were 40 potential hazards in the upper accommodation area with 77% low risk level, 12% moderate risk level, 8% high risk level, and 3% very high risk level. While in the cargo oil tank area there was 37 potentials hazard with 84% low risk level, 13% moderate risk level, and 3% high risk level. By knowing the risk level, companies can identify work activities that require prioritized improvement. They can also determine appropriate control to prevent the occurrence of such risks. Risk control in the upper accommodation area can be achieved through the implementation of administrative controls, utilization of PPE, and technical engineering controls.

Abstract

Kedai Kopi Gudang Kena adalah salah satu usaha minuman kopi di kota Samarinda yang berdiri pada tahun 2020 mencoba melakukan pelayanan sebaik mungkin, sesuai dengan janji yang diberikan kepada pelanggan. Kedai Kopi Gudang Kena yang berlokasi di Gg. Tridaya No. 29, Air Putih, Kec. Samarinda Ulu, Kota Samarinda juga mengandalkan ketepatan waktu dalam penyediaan layanan, serta menyediakan tempat yang nyaman bagi pelanggan untuk berdiskusi maupun berkumpul. Berdasarkan observasi awal, kedai kopi Gudang Kena mengalami penurunan jumlah transaksi selama 3 bulan terakhir dari rata-rata 50 transaksi perhari menjadi 30 transaksi perhari, serta beberapa keluhan seperti kurangnya soundsystem, kurangnya fasilitas hiburan, ruang gerak yang sangat sempit jika ramai pengunjung dan sering terjadi keterlambatan dalam penyajian minuman atau makanan pada saat ramai pengunjung. Untuk melakukan pengukuran kualitas layanan pada Kedai Kopi Gudang Kena digunakan metode SERVQUAL, dan Important Performance Analysis (IPA). Penelitian diawali dengan menyebarkan kuesioner persepsi dan ekspektasi pelanggan yang ditujukan kepada konsumen Kedai Kopi Gudang Kena Samarinda yang setidaknya 2 kali dalam 3 bulan terakhir ke Kedai Kopi Gudang Kena Samarinda. Kuesioner persepsi dan ekspektasi pelanggan digunakan untuk mengukur gap 5 pada pengukuran SERVQUAL. Berdasarkan hasil analisa menggunakan metode SERVQUAL diketahui bahwa pelayanan Kedai Kopi Gudang Kena sudah baik, dengan nilain mean persepsi konsumen sebesar 4,36. Metode IPA digunakan untuk menentukan prioritas perbaikan berdasarkan nilai gap pada tiap dimensi. Usulan perbaikan berdasarkan prioritas utama yaitu pada dimensi responsiveness terdapat atribut RES2 yang berada di kuadran A karyawan Kedai Kopi Gudang Kena memberikan layanann yang cepat kepada para pelanggan.

Abstract

Indonesia is the world's largest producer of palm oil, with millions of hectares of plantations. However, along with the growth of the palm oil industry, various challenges and issues related to the worker welfare have emerged. One important issue is musculoskeletal disorders or health problems associated with work in palm oil plantations. Workers in palm oil plantations are often exposed to heavy and repetitive work conditions, such as carrying heavy loads, performing monotonous movements, and working in non-ergonomic positions. These factors can increase the risk of musculoskeletal disorders, such as back pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, and other health issues. Therefore, this research aims to evaluate existing musculoskeletal disorders and provide recommendations for improvement and management of ergonomic risks in PT. DSN in Muara Wahau. The research methods include direct observation of palm oil farmers during their work, structured interviews to gather information on complaints and ergonomic risks, and the use of ergonomic analysis methods in accordance with the SNI 9011:2021 standard. The data obtained will be analyzed to identify ergonomic risk factors contributing to musculoskeletal disorders. The results of this study showed that  all of palm oil harvesting workers experienced high risk level on their neck, while all of palm oil transportation workers encountered high risk on their elbow. Stretching or warm-up exercises before and after work were recommended to reduce the risk of injuries caused by non-ergonomic work positions among harvesting workers. Furthermore, redesigning Hook-T was recommended in order to minimize the MSD among palm oil transportation workers.

Abstract

PT Kideco Jaya Agung is one of the coal mining companies in Paser Regency, East Kalimantan, using an open pit mining system which at the end of 2012 succeeded in realizing the production, transportation, shipping target of 34 million tons. Coal mining is carried out using excavating equipment and hauling equipment. Activities begin with land clearing using bulldozers and / or small excavators, blasting overburden and / or removal of overburden, cleaning coal, loading and transporting coal to the ROM Stockpile. Throughout 2021 there has been a decrease in production results, it is necessary to analyze the productivity of the company's performance, which in this case leads to the Mine Facility department because it is directly related to production. The need to analyze productivity measurements so that it can be seen whether the Mine Facility department in this company is productive or not. The productivity measurement method that can be used to solve the problem is Objective Matrix (OMAX), because the OMAX productivity measurement model overcomes the problems of complexity and difficulty of productivity measurement by combining all important productivity criteria into an integrated form and interrelated with each other and easy to combine.

Abstract

PT. DSN Group Tbk, a company operating in palm oil plantations, wood products, and renewable energy, manages a 112,450-hectare palm oil plantation, including 84,566 hectares of core plantation and 27,884 hectares of plasma plantation. This research aims to identify and measure productivity criteria in the palm oil plantation and suggest improvements. The Objective Matrix (OMAX) method was used to evaluate productivity, revealing that the highest productivity index in 2021 was 136.67% in March, while the lowest was -36.67% in September. In 2022, the highest index was 101.67% in August, with the lowest at -35% in May. The Fishbone Diagram identified causes for productivity declines: in 2021, human-related issues were the primary factor, while in 2022, failure to meet production targets was the main concern. Proposed improvements include redesigning harvesting tools to reduce worker fatigue, remapping the plantation, conducting regular checks for fruit quality, maintaining farm equipment, and training workers to prevent over-fertilization.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze service quality at Bank ‘X’ by applying the Banking Service Quality (BSQ) method. Service quality is a crucial factor in maintaining customer satisfaction and preserving the bank's competitiveness against other banks. The BSQ method is used to identify the dimensions of service quality that have the most influence on customer perceptions of services at Bank ’X’. This research employs a quantitative approach by collecting data through questionnaires distributed to customers of Bank ‘X’, the collected data are then analyzed using statistical techniques such as factor analysis to identify service quality variables that emerge from customer perceptions. Additionally, regression analysis is conducted to measure the influence of each dimension on customer satisfaction. The results of this research indicate a negative gap in the access variable, while the other variable experience a positive gap. Negative gap results are also found in the attributes of "customer service assistance," "number of tellers and customer service staff," and "queues at tellers and customer service." The Pearson product-moment correlation test results show that all variables are related to customer satisfaction. The influence of service quality on customer satisfaction at Bank ‘X’ is represented by the equation Y = -5.708 + 0.290X1 + 0.305X2 - 0.423X3 + 0.422X3 + 0.341X5 + 0.35X6. The results of the F-statistic test indicate that all service quality variables significantly influence customer satisfaction simultaneously. The t-statistic results reveal that the reliability variable does not have a significant partial effect on customer satisfaction, whereas the other variable have a significant partial effect on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Sebuah website diperlukan dalam sebuah instansi, perusahaan, ataupun tempat pendidikan. Universitas Mulawarman memiliki website beralamatkan www.unmul.ac.id dan memiliki aplikasi Sistem Informasi Akademik (SIA). Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap aplikasi SIA, mengetahui atribut yang perlu diperbaiki berdasarkan dimensi WebQual, dan memberikan usulan perbaikan dengan House of Quality (HOQ). Pengukuran tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa pada aplikasi SIA menggunakan metode WebQual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap aplikasi SIA adalah cukup puas dengan rata-rata kepuasan 3,030. Tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap dimensi usability adalah cukup puas dengan rata-rata kepuasan 3,160, terhadap dimensi information quality cukup puas dengan rata-rata kepuasan 3,124, dan terhadap dimensi interaction quality cukup puas dengan rata-rata kepuasan 2,806. Hasil dari Importance Performance Analysis menunjukkan atribut yang mempunyai tingkat kepuasan rendah dan tingkat kepentingan tinggi adalah ketepatan waktu aplikasi SIA dalam memberikan informasi sesuai kebutuhan pengguna dan tingkat relevansi aplikasi SIA terhadap informasi akademik berdasarkan IPA. Usulan perbaikan pada aplikasi SIA untuk mengatasi kedua atribut tersebut adalah memberi informasi tepat waktu sesuai kebutuhan mahasiswa seperti adanya deadline waktu antara dosen ke jurusan, jurusan ke fakultas dan menyediakan informasi yang relevan sesuai kebutuhan mahasiswa seperti jadwal kuliah, jadwal ujian, kapasitas kelas, serta adanya warning dialog untuk mengatasi kesalahan input mahasiswa jika persyaratan tidak memenuhi atau kesamaan jadwal kuliah.

Abstract

Berkah Abadi adalah usaha pembuatan batako berbahan dasar pasir dan semen. Dalam proses produksi terdapat masalah postur kerja yang tidak ergonomis. Masalah postur kerja terjadi pada 3 stasiun kerja dengan aktivitasnya masing-masing. Kondisi lingkungan kerja juga ikut mempengaruhi dalam proses produksi. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi keergonomisan postur kerja para pekerja batako dengan metode REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment). Hasil pengukuran skor akhir REBA pekerja pada bagian pencampuran bahan baku adalah 7 dengan tingkat resiko sedang. Bagian pencetakan yang terdiri atas peletakan adonan skor akhir adalah 8 dengan tingkat resiko tinggi, pengepressan batako skor akhir adalah 5 dengan tingkat resiko sedang, pengangkatan batako basah skor akhir adalah 9 dengan tingkat resiko tinggi. Bagian pengeringan yang terdiri atas proses membawa batako basah skor akhir adalah 4 dengan tingkat resiko sedang dan peletakan batako basah skor akhir adalah 10 dengan tingkat resiko tinggi. Dari hasil di atas postur kerja di UD. Berkah Abadi terbilang masih tidak ergonomis. Hasil pengamatan lingkungan kerja berdasarkan ergonomic checkpoints di UD. Berkah Abadi terdapat kondisi yang tidak ergonomis yaitu pada material handling, keamanan mesin, desain stasiun kerja, dan sumber bahaya. Usulan perbaikan untuk meminimalisir postur kerja yang tidak ergonomis adalah dengan membuat alat pencampur bahan baku agar mengurangi postur yang membungkuk. Pada Proses pencetakan batako dimensi mesin pencetak diubah agar menyesuaikan tubuh pekerja. Pada bagian pengeringan diberikan gerobak dorong untuk transportasi batako agar mengurangi beban yang diterima oleh tubuh, perubahan posisi tubuh meletakkan dan penataan ulang tumpukan batako dengan menyesuaikan ketinggian untuk mengurangi postur membungkuk. Lingkungan kerja di UD. Berkah Abadi disarankan untuk lebih memaksimalkan ruang yang tersedia di lingkungan kerja, memperbaiki tata letak area kerja, dan menggunakan alat bantu yang mengurangi postur kerja yang tidak ergonomis.

Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman untuk menunjang kinerja sumber daya manusia dibutuhkan teknologi yang mendukung aktivitas kerja. Dengan berkembang pesatnya teknologi, banyak perusahaan yang menggunakan perangkat lunak tertentu guna mempermudah dan mempercepat pekerjaan di perusahaan. PT. Sagatrade Murni adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang manufacturing engineering, yaitu pembuatan pipa untuk pengeboran minyak. Untuk menunjang kegiatan kerja, PT. Sagatrade Murni menggunakan Microsoft Dynamic Navision untuk mempermudah dalam mengontrol arah barang yang terdapat di PT. Sagatrade Murni. Microsoft Dynamic Navision adalah sebuah perangkat lunak perencanaan sumber daya perusahaan (Enterprise Resource Planning) buatan Microsoft. Pekerjaan yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan Microsoft Dynamics Navision terus-menerus mengakibatkan timbulnya beban kerja mental, oleh karena itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan usability software terhadap beban kerja mental operator. Metode NASA-TLX dipilih untuk mengukur beban kerja mental yang dirasakan oleh operator. Kuesioner SUMI digunakan untuk pengukuran usability, sehingga diketahui tingkat kepuasan terhadap penggunaan perangkat lunak. Uji korelasi Spearman digunakan dalam uji statistik untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara usability Microsoft Dynamics Navision terhadap beban kerja mental operator. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa beban kerja mental seluruh pekerja PT Sagatrade Murni yang menggunakan Microsoft Dynamics Navision berada pada rentang nilai 50-79. Rentang nilai tersebut menyatakan bahwa beban kerja mental yang dirasakan pekerja di PT Sagatrade Murni termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Tingkat kepuasan pekerja PT. Sagatrade Murni terhadap penggunaan Microsoft Dynamics Navision berada pada rentang nilai 67-100 yang berarti pekerja di PT. Sagatrade Murni merasa puas terhadap penggunaan Microsoft Dynamics Navision. Hasil uji Spearman didapatkan bahwa nilai Sig diperoleh 0,093 > α yang berarti H0 diterima. Sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa tidak adanya pengaruh usability Microsoft Dynamics Navision terhadap beban kerja mental yang dialami oleh pekerja di PT. Sagatrade Murni.

Abstract

Dzain Art is a business that offers  clothing screen printing services. The development of Dzain Art's business has not been optimal due to its relatively small income. The marketing strategies employed have not been optimal in attracting the market's interest in using clothing printing services. The right marketing strategy will influence potential customers to use the offered clothing printing services, which will have a positive impact on the business's development. Designing a marketing strategy using the SWOT method to formulate strategies that can be applied in marketing clothing printing and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to prioritize the best marketing strategies for Dzain Art. Score of the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) Matrix is 3.0118 and the score of the External Factor Evaluation (EFE) Matrix is 2.6765. Dzain Art's position based on the IE Matrix is in Quadrant IV, which indicates that the clothing printing business is in the Growth and Build condition. In Growth and Build position, Dzain Art is suitable for implementing intensive and integrative strategies. The formulation of marketing strategies on the SWOT Matrix produces nine marketing strategies that can be implemented to market clothing printing. The priority order of marketing strategies that Dzain Art can apply in marketing clothing screen printing using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is increasing and expanding collaboration with institutions or communities in providing uniform clothing,second priority is enhancing promotion through social media, and third priority is utilizing digital printing production equipment.
