Abstract

Teenagers' dating style at this time tends to be risky, for example by kissing, touching sensitive parts, until some have had a relationship like husband and wife. This incident is inseparable from the sociodemographic characteristics of the adolescents themselves which include age, gender, education level, family roles, peers roles, and exposure to pornographic media. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of risky sexual behavior in adolescents in Bajera Village, Selemadeg District, Tabanan Regency Bali in 2022. This study was a descriptive study with cluster random sampling as a sample in Banjar Dinas Bajera Jero. The research sample was 99 people using google form. Adolescent characteristics were assessed by univariate technique including risky sexual behavior. Data processing is done with a computerized system. The results showed that the risky sexual behavior of adolescents in Bajera Village was in the less category as many as 86 (86.87%) respondents. For the sociodemographic characteristics of adolescents in the form of the highest age at the end of 63 (63.64%), the highest gender was in women 57 (57.58%), the highest education level was in SMA / equivalent 45 (45.46%), the highest family role was in good category 49 (49.50%), the highest peer role in the less category 79 (79.80%), and internet media as the pornographic media of choice the most.

Abstract

Breastfeeding technique is one of the factors that can influence breast milk production. Health guidance methods can increase the knowledge and skills of pregnant women in preparation for providing breast milk to their future babies. The aim of this research was to determine the differences in the skills of third trimester pregnant women before and after being given guidance on breastfeeding techniques at the Regional Level Implementation Unit of the Klungkung I Community Health Center. The type of research used was one group pretest-posttest. This research was carried out on April 11-May 11 2023 by means of purposive sampling. The population was 44 people and the sample was 32 people. The research instruments are in the form of observation sheets, Extension Event Units and Operational Procedure Units. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. There is a difference in the skills of pregnant women in the third trimester before and after being given guidance on breastfeeding techniques with a p-value of 0.000<0.05. Midwives are expected to be able to provide information on the importance of the benefits of breast milk for babies.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is the second deadly disease that occurs in women. The prevalence of cervical cancer in Indonesia in 2021 is 36,633 cases or 17.2% of all cancer cases in women. Cervical cancer has a high mortality of 19.1% of all cancer deaths. Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is the main factor causing cervical cancer. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in knowledge of teenage girl before and after being given health education by using animated video about HPV vaccinatoin. This pre eksperimental research used one group pretest posttest design which conducted in April 2024 with proportional cluster random sampling. Sampel used 56 teenage girl VII grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Kediri. Data collected by questionnaire. Data analysis used inivariate with frequency distribution and bivariate with Wilcoxon test based on significance level p<0,05. The results of the different hypothesis test found that the value of p= 0,000, so it could be concluded that there were the differences in knowledge of teenage girl before and after being given health education by using animated video about HPV vaccinatoin. It is suggested that further research to develop this study with other variables related to cervical cancer prevention with HPV vaccination.

Abstract

Laserasi perineum merupakan salah satu komplikasi persalinan yang dapat meningkatkan risiko perdarahan dan infeksi pada ibu. Upaya pencegahan melalui massage perineum menjadi salah satu pendekatan non-farmakologis yang efektif untuk meningkatkan elastisitas jaringan perineum. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu hamil dalam melakukan massage perineum sebagai upaya mencegah laserasi saat persalinan di Desa Medahan, Kecamatan Blahbatuh, Kabupaten Gianyar, Bali. Metode yang digunakan meliputi Komunikasi, Informasi, dan Edukasi (KIE) melalui ceramah, diskusi kelompok kecil, serta simulasi praktik menggunakan phantom. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan desain pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta. Sebanyak 30 ibu hamil terlibat dalam kegiatan ini. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada pengetahuan ibu hamil, dengan nilai mean dari 10,67 menjadi 20,00, serta keterampilan dari 7,63 menjadi 15,00 setelah intervensi. Seluruh indikator statistik, termasuk median, minimum, dan maksimum, juga mengalami peningkatan optimal. Kesimpulannya, bimbingan massage perineum efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu hamil serta berpotensi mencegah laserasi perineum saat persalinan. Program ini diharapkan dapat diimplementasikan secara berkelanjutan sebagai bagian dari upaya promotif dan preventif dalam kesehatan ibu dan anak. Perineal Massage Guidance for Pregnant Women as an Effort to Prevent Perineal Laceration During Childbirth in Medahan Village, Blahbatuh, Gianyar, Bali Perineal laceration is one of the common complications during childbirth that can increase the risk of bleeding and infection in mothers. Preventive efforts through perineal massage represent a non-pharmacological approach that can improve perineal tissue elasticity. This community service activity aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of pregnant women in performing perineal massage as an effort to prevent perineal laceration during childbirth in Medahan Village, Blahbatuh District, Gianyar Regency, Bali. The method employed included Communication, Information, and Education (CIE) through lectures, small group discussions, and practical simulations using a phantom model. Evaluation was conducted using a pretest–posttest design to measure improvements in participants’ knowledge and skills. A total of 30 pregnant women participated in this activity. The results showed a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge, with the mean score increasing from 10.67 to 20.00, and skills from 7.63 to 15.00 after the intervention. All statistical indicators, including median, minimum, and maximum scores, also showed optimal improvement. In conclusion, perineal massage guidance is effective in improving the knowledge and skills of pregnant women and has the potential to prevent perineal laceration during childbirth. This program is expected to be implemented sustainably as part of promotive and preventive efforts in maternal and child health.

Abstract

Kelas ibu hamil memberikan banyak informasi tentang perawatan kehamilan, persalinan, nifas, perawatan bayi dan penggunaan KB pascasalin, namun cakupan Kb pascasalin masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui hubungan antara keikutsertaan kelas ibu hamil dengan penggunaan kontrasepsi pascasalin di Puskesmas Sidemen. Jenis penelitian analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional, besar sampel 82 yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Jenis data sekunder yang diambil dari register ibu hamil dan register KB. Analisa data dengan chi square. Hasil penelitian karakteristik umur paling banyak responden berada pada kelompok umur 20-35 tahun yaitu 66 orang (80,5%), berdasarkan pendidikan paling banyak responden pendidikan menengah yaitu 41 orang (50%), berdasarkan pekerjaan lebih banyak ibu rumah tangga yaitu 57 orang (69,5%) dan berdasarkan paritas lebih banyak ibu yang multipara yaitu 56 orang (68,3%), mengikuti kelas ibu hamil 58 (70,7%), menggunakan KB pascasalin 60 (73,2%), mengikuti kelas ibu hamil menggunakan KB pascasalin 86,2%, yang tidak menggunakan 13,8%. Ibu yang tidak mengikuti kelas ibu hamil menggunakan KB pascasalin 41,7% yang tidak menggunakan 58,3%. Nilai p 0,006. Kesimpulan ada hubungan keikutsertaan kelas ibu hamil dengan penggunaan KB pascasalin. Kepada ibu hamil agar mengikuti kelas ibu hamil agar meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang KB pascasalin.
