Abstract

Background: Skill development is an activity that can be provided by LPKA officers and from the wider community, such as educational institutions. One of the trainings from the Community Partnership Program (PKM) that can be taught to LPKA Students is the manufacture of household soap and efforts and strategies to market it as a home product that is not inferior in quality to industrial products. This training is expected to increase the skills of students in producing quality soap products and improve the ability of students to do marketing so that they can be used as provisions for students when returning to society. Method: Students of LPKA II Bandung as non-productive community partners are targets that have the potential to develop their skills so as to reduce the burden on the government in overcoming employment problems. The program stages consist of training in making household soap products in the form of liquid dish soap and solid soap using natural materials that are easily obtained. Indicators of success from providing this material can be known by comparing the value of test results before and after the activities obtained by participants. Results: There was a significant increase in participants' knowledge about the quality and quality of soap and product marketing techniques (p < 0.05). Conclusion: There was a significant increase in participants' knowledge about the quality and quality of soap and product marketing techniques (p < 0.05).

Abstract

MAN 2 Kabupaten Bekasi terletak di Desa Cibening Kecamatan Setu. Jumlah ruang kelas di sekolah cukup memadai hanya saja belum lengkap dalam menunjang kegiatan belajar yang berbasis pengalaman kerja ilmiah. Ketidaklengkapan tersebut membatasi kegiatan pendidikan seperti dalam pembelajaran kimia. Selain itu, pembelajaran yang umumnya diberikan satu arah dapat menimbulkan turunnya minat siswa dalam belajar. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pelatihan berupa workshop pembuatan produk kimia terapan rumah tangga seperti deterjen cair dan sabun padat sebagai kegiatan pembelajaran kimia berbasis praktikum untuk meningkatkan partisipasi dan minat siswa sehingga mengubah pandangan internal siswa terhadap kimia. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental dan simulasi dengan suasana yang menggembirakan untuk memaksimalkan penyampaian materi yang diberikan. Pengukuran pengetahuan dan keberhasilan capaian dilakukan sebagai bentuk evaluasi kegiatan. Selama proses pembuatan produk, siswa antusias dan berpartisipasi aktif dari awal hingga akhir kegiatan. Berdasarkan analisis statistik uji-t berpasangan, terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan secara signifikan (p<0,05) antara nilai rata-rata sebelum (30,4) dan sesudah (65,2) kegiatan. Selain itu, hasil pengamatan menunjukkan adanya partisipasi aktif dan perbaikan pemahaman secara signifikan pada sasaran kegiatan.

Abstract

Research entitled The Effect of the Effectiveness of the Internal Control System on Business Success at Same Hotel Kendari. This study aims to determine the effect of the effectiveness of the internal control system on business success at Same Hotel Kendari, data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Data obtained from 30 people. Data analysis using simple regression. The analysis results show the regression equation Y = 7.022 + 0.605 X, this shows that if there is a change in the dimension of the Internal Control System by I unit, it will cause a change in performance by 60.5%. The effect of the Internal Control System on Business Success can be seen from the significance value of t in simple regression analysis, namely sig t = 0.00 < a = 0.05. The correlation coefficient (R) value of 0.809 means that the correlation between the independent variable Internal Control System (X) and Business Success (Y) is positive.

Abstract

This classroom action research, the authors are interested in focusing on the title "Improving Kangkung Planting Skills Through Hydroponic Media for Students with Medium Category Mental retardation in Class VII SLB Negeri Muara Bulian". The action was carried out in 2 cycles where each cycle had 3 meetings. The total of all meetings in this study were 6 meetings divided into several stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. The implementation of the action in the first cycle of moderately mentally retarded students got the results of Subject A's initial ability performance test with a score of 36.3 in the first cycle getting a value of 54.5, and in the second cycle getting a score of 72.7. Subject F has initial ability with a value of 54.5, in the first cycle the score is 72.7, and in the second cycle the score is 90.9. Subject R with initial ability with a value of 45.4, in the first cycle a score of 63.6, and in the second cycle a score of 81.8. Based on the results obtained, it was concluded that hydroponic media in improving the learning of kale planting skills for students with moderate mental retardation in grade VII at SLB Negeri Muara Bulian

Abstract

Piroxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. This drug can irritate the stomach as a side effect of oral administration. One strategy to overcome these side effects is transdermal delivery in polyelectrolyte hydrogel with iontophoresis. This research aims to study the pH-varying effect of polyelectrolyte hydrogel on piroxicam release from hydrogel via iontophoresis using a Franz diffusion cell. The formulation was made with pH variations, namely 4.2 (F1), 5.5 (F2), 6.4 (F3), and 7.4 (F4). Evaluations include organoleptics, pH, homogeneity, spreadability, viscosity, flow properties, conductivity, and diffusion tests. The polyelectrolyte hydrogel obtained was yellow and homogeneous with a pH variation of 4.2 ± 0.02 to 7.42±0.02, spreadability of 4.22±0.21 cm to 4.35±0.28 cm, viscosity 47,378 cps to 59,297 cps; flow properties include thixotropic plasticity; and conductivity 8.01±0.78 ms/cm to 9.58±1.00 ms/cm. Moreover, piroxicam was released from the hydrogel assisted by DC-type iontophoresis with flux values of 634.52 ?g/cm2 (F1), 427.91 ?g/cm2 (F2), 205.76 ?g/cm2 (F3), and 253.56 ?g/cm2 (F4). Statistical analysis showed that decreasing pH had a significant effect (sig<0.05) on increasing piroxicam release from hydrogel based on flux value. The release kinetic behavior of all formulas (F1-F4) does not show the same type of kinetic model based on the correlation coefficient value approach, which is closest to 1. Abstract

Pembelajaran yang efektif adalah pembelajaran yang menyediakan kesempatan bagi siswa untuk melakukan aktivitas seluas-luasnya dalam belajar. Perancangan kegiatan pembelajaran yang baik diperlukan dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang efektif, salah satu caranya adalah dengan memilih model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk diterapkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas (Hijrah, 2020:1-2). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk peningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) berbasis lingkungan pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di MAN 6 Ciamis X MIA tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Metode penelitain dalam penelitian berbentuk “ one grup pretest-postest design”. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelompok sampel yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X MIA di MAN 6 Ciamis dengan jumlah siswa 22 orang. Pengambilan data menggunakan instrument soal tes essay sebayak 8 soal dan data yang diperoleh berupa skor hasil belajar. Analisis data menggunakan uji Z dan diperoleh   sebesar 2,88 sedangkan  sebesar 2,33, dengan demikian  > , sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh implementasi model pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW) berbasis lingkungan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Secara kuantitatif hasil belajar siswa menunjukan peningkatan dengan rata-rata skor pretest dan posttest diperoleh N-gain 0,39 (termasuk kategori sedang).

Abstract

Orodispersible film (ODF) is a drug delivery gaining widespread acceptance because it disintegrates quickly and can be self-administered. ODF has the advantage of increasing the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) effectiveness by rapid dissolution in the oral cavity after direct contact with saliva. One of the components of ODF that influences the physical characteristics and dissolution of low-soluble drugs in water is surfactant. This material acts as a wetting or dispersing agent so the film can quickly disintegrate and release API. The method used is searching for international journal data using the Google Scholar. The surfactants reported to have been used in the ODF formulation are L-arginine, poloxamer 407, tween 80, and sodium dodecyl sulfate. In general, surfactant usage significantly affects the disintegration behavior of the film and API release. This behavior is caused by reducing the interfacial tension between phases by surfactants, which causes increased solid surface wetting and helps speed up the film disintegration and API dissolution from the ODF matrix. The conclusion is that surfactant usage with the appropriate type and concentration will help improve the ODF quality, especially in the disintegration properties of the dosage form and API dissolution.

Abstract

Tingginya tingkat pertumbuhan UMKM disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor dan juga pengaruh perubahan pola konsumsi masyarakat. Salah satu yang merasakan perubahan adalah industri rokok, dimana saat ini tren masyarakat mulai beralih dari rokok konvensional menjadi rokok elektrik. tren ini menyebabkan terbukanya peluang masyarakat membuka usaha terkait industri rokok elektrik seperti vape store yang menjual device dan liquid serta produk pelengkap seperti kapas, coil, peralatan bongkar pasang coil dsb. tingginya minat masyarakat terhadap produk rokok elektrik ini menyebabkan banyak pula yang berusaha dibidang ini, sehingga pemerintah juga mulai memperhatikan industri rokok elektrik di Indonesia. Berbagai peraturan terkait industri ini diterapkan seperti halnya pada industri lain seperti pengenaan Bea Cukai pada produk liquid. Pada tahun 2019 akhir, sempat beredar beberapa postingan mengenai harga jual produk-produk terkait rokok elektrik di media sosial terutama pada forum komunitas baik komunitas hobi maupun jual beli yang menyebutkan beberapa pasal dalam ketetapan penentuan harga. oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pelurusan dan pemberian informasi terkait proses penentuan harga dan juga aturan serta kebijakan hukum terkait harga. Bekerja sama dengan komunitas rokok elektrik di Tangerang Selatan, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi dan pemahaman pada pelaku bisnis dibidang rokok elektrik baik individu, kelompok usaha dan pengguna pada khususnya dan pelaku UMKM pada umumnya mengenai penetapan harga, aturan dan kebijakan hukum terkait penetapan harga. adapun metode yang digunakan berupa webinar dengan target peserta 30 orang. Kegiatan ini diharapan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman peserta mengenai praktik penentuan harga, penerapan aturan dan juga ketentuan hukum akan harga dan juga persaingan bisnis secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are one of the most popular drugs used, and the WHO model lists essential medicines due to their efficacy in reducing pain and inflammation. Orally administered is prone to causing adverse reactions, while injections administered are not conducive to self-administration of the drug because the patient feels uncomfortable, thereby reducing patient compliance. Transdermal delivery is one solution because it has the potential to improve the safety profile and increase the drug's bioavailability. The use of drug delivery systems based on colloidal particulate carriers such as niosomes has advantages over conventional dosage forms because these particles can act as a reservoir containing the drug and can increase penetration. Based on the discussion presented, gel-based niosomes formulations in various research results show better drug release and permeation through the skin compared to conventional formulations. The presence of cholesterol and surfactant components plays an important role in helping drug permeation through the skin in terms of increasing the number of permeating drug molecules and the depth of permeation that occurs. Hydrogel-forming polymers are the first choice for loading niosomes because they are biocompatible and easy to obtain. Carpobol is the polymer most chosen because of its ability to spread easily, forming homogeneous and transparent preparations.

Abstract

Starch is a natural biopolymer used as a film-forming polymer on oral thin film (OTF). Its solubility can increase by modifying enzymes to form maltodextrin (MDX). Sorghum is a potential plant because it contains relatively high starch, 72.3-75.1%. The concentration of film-forming and plasticizers in OTF will significantly affect its disintegration and mechanical properties. This study aimed to obtain the optimal formula for OTF cetirizine HCl based on MDX-sorghum as a film-forming and triethyl citrate as a plasticizer using the Response Surface Methodology (RSM). Sorghum starch was enzymatically modified and characterized physically and mechanically. The formula is optimized based on the disintegration and mechanical properties of the film on the contour plot using Central Composite Design (CCD) in RSM. The percentage error between the predicted and actual values in the response validates the suggested model. The results showed that the production of MDX-sorghum was successful with a characteristic value of dextrose equivalent (DE) 6,3±0,13; swelling power of 2.87; solubility of 52.9%; and a yield of 86.71%. Response data from the 14 formulas obtained include disintegration time of 85-172 seconds, elongation 64.86-109.32%, and tensile strength from 1.4 to 3.57 MPa. The optimal formula suggested a concentration of 4.56% MDX-sorghum and 10% triethyl citrate, with desirability of 0.87. The model validation results show an error percentage of <5%, so the suggested model can be accepted.
