Abstract

This community service program has the aim of increasing sales, reaching a wider sales market and adding insight to new consumers by using social media and the media is 59 second long and increase about 20 to 30 people on their instagram account. Partners in community service are Aftertaste CoffeShop, which is a shop engaged in the food and beverage sector, located at Komplek Kintamani Blok F no 7, Sungai Panas, Batam City. The method used in this activity is MDLC (multimedia development life cycle and implementation on social media. The implementation results show an increase in new marketing reach, an increase in turnover and an increase in new consumers.

Abstract

Barbershop as a service or business that offers facilities to consumers or customers to meet ongoing primary needs. The increasing development of barbershops in Bengkong is a testament to the awareness of men in maintaining their appearance. With the barbershop business in Bengkong, it causes competition in the business, especially in Nagaya Pangkas Om Boy’s, increase and decrease in the number or customers is not stable every month so that it has an impact on income. The problem obtained in this research is that Nagaya Pangkas Om Boy's business needs a company profile video to provide information to consumers or customers. The purpose of this research is to help Nagaya Pangkas Om Boy's efforts to promote and provide information to the public about the business of Nagaya Pangkas Om Boy's barbershop. The research method used is Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) with the stages, namely concept, design, material gathering, assembly, testing, and distribution. The result of this research is a company profile video which is implemented into social media Youtube and Instagram.

Abstract

In today’s society, along with the development of technology and knowledge, there are many ways that can be used to promote a business. One way to promote a business that is currently on the trend is promotional media content through the Instagram application, which is also known as Instagram ads. Instagram ads are posts or Stories that a business buys to promote to users’ Instagram feeds. They can seem just like regular Instagram posts but are always marked by a “Sponsored” badge. With a potential audience of more than 928 million people, Instagram ads are a key tool for any social media marketer to market their business. The purpose of this research paper is to design promotional media content on Instagram at the MSME restaurant "Lo Ka Ciong Cia Tang". The focus of the research is on the Promotional and Advertising sector for MSME business in the regional area. The data source used in this study is the primary data source, which means the data is obtained directly from the researcher through various methods, mainly interviews and observations.Results of the study discuss the promotional video content’s impact on the MSME business. This study finds that promotional media content on Instagram does bring a realizable impact to the business. This can be seen from the increase in sales in the few months since the promotional video was held, and the gradual increase in ordering through the WhatsApp application. It is important to remember that the results of this study cannot be separated from the influence of the control factors used

Abstract

Tanjak is an accessory used by the people at the time the Malay kingdom stood. However, the traditional era began to develop into the era of digital culture and Malay heritage is fading. The purpose of this study is a form of concern if culture is simply forgotten without any attempt to reintroduce it. With today's technology, climbs can be visualized using technology that can display 3D objects in the real world. This technology is usually called augmented reality, so tanjak can be known to the wider community which can be accessed using smart devices that support augmented reality and use the operating system android. This research itself uses the method Multimedia Development Life Cycle. In the process using a variety of software such as cinema4D, Unity, adobe illustrator. The output obtained is an application augmented reality with a .apk extension that can be downloaded using the google play store

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity (PKM) is to help solve the problems that exist in SMEs in Batam City. The partner in this activity is the United Stationery Store which is currently focusing on the online wholesale sector. So in this activity the author will help the United Stationery Store design a digital marketing system that suits the needs of the United Stationery Store, namely facebook shop, facebook ads, instagram ads, google ads, e-brochures, and e-catalogs. This activity was carried out using the interview method and community education. The result of the implementation of this activity is that the United Stationery Store has been able to implement the designed digital marketing system. Of all the systems implemented, google ads is a very effective marketing system at this time, then facebook shop and instagram ads. Facebook ads are the most ineffective or ineffective system compared to other systems. The author recommends that the United Stationery Store in the future can implement digital marketing compared to conventional marketing and the United Stationery Store can consider digital marketing with google ads, facebook shop, and instagram ads, especially google ads.

Abstract

PT. Riztour Indo Wisata is a business engaged in tourism which was founded in 2014, located at Ruko Shangrila Garden Blok A No. 18, Sekupang. The obstacles faced by PT. Riztour Indo Wisata while running its business activities in the form of the absence of a culinary website system that functions as a promotional tool to increase tourists who want to travel to the city of Batam. The methodology applied in this research is applied research that aims to solve problems in the modern world. The method used in this activity is SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) method which has 5 stages, namely requirement analysis, design, development, testing, maintenance. The tools are hosting, domain, wordpress, and page builder from elementor. The output of this research is in the form of a culinary website system that contains information about restaurants, recipes, typical food of the city of Batam. With this system, tourists PT. Riztour Indo Wisata makes it easier and faster to find information about culinary in the city of Batam

Abstract

Congklak is one of the traditional games that has become an important part of Indonesia's cultural heritage. The game entertains and teaches social values, strategic thinking, and basic skills such as counting. However, along with the development of technology and the emergence of modern games, the popularity of congklak has faded, especially among the younger generation. This research aims to develop a 3D animation-based tutorial video as a medium for preserving congklak by integrating traditional elements and modern technology. The research method utilizes a Research and Development (R&D) approach with a Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) framework. The results indicate that the developed animation video effectively engages young generations, raises cultural awareness, and provides broad accessibility through digital platforms. This study concludes that 3D animation can be an effective tool for preserving traditional games such as congklak.

Abstract

The transition to parenthood is a multidimensional challenge that often causes emotional and practical stress for new parents, particularly in understanding proper infant care. This study aims to address these issues by developing a 2D animated educational video titled "Being a New Parent". The video serves as an engaging visual medium to educate young couples about essential baby care practices, including hygiene, feeding, diaper changing, bonding, and sleep management. The animation was developed using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, consisting of six stages: concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. Production involved professional software including Adobe Illustrator for asset design, Adobe After Effects for animation, and Adobe Premiere Pro for final editing and audio integration. The final product is a 2-minute and 8-second video distributed via YouTube. Evaluation through interviews with new parents revealed that the animation effectively increased understanding of parenting basics, though suggestions for more detailed and context-sensitive content were noted. The results demonstrate that 2D animation is a powerful tool for digital parenting education, capable of simplifying complex information into a relatable and accessible format for the millennial generation.
