Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan karakteristik media pembelajaran powerpoint interaktif, 2) mendeskripsikan kualitas pengembangan media powerpoint interaktif, dan 3) mendeskripsikan respon siswa terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran powerpoint interaktif berbasis pendekatan kontekstual pada materi daur air muatan pelajaran IPA kelas V SD Negeri Putren Bantul. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) Borg and Gall. Penelitian ini hanya menggunakan sembilan langkah yaitu: (1) potensi dan masalah; (2) pengumpulan data; (3) desain produk; (4) validasi desain; (5) revisi desain; (6) uji coba terbatas; (7) revisi desain produk; (8) uji coba pemakaian, dan (9) revisi produk akhir. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Tahap validasi dilakukan oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan terhadap 3 orang siswa yang dipilih secara acak, dan uji coba pemakaian dilakukan terhadap oleh 13 orang siswa yang dipilih secara acak. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kuntitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) media pembelajaran powerpoint interaktif memiliki karakteristik yang menarik bagi siswa, 2) kualitas media pembelajaran powerpoint baik sehingga dapat digunakan dengan mudah oleh guru kelas, dan 3) media pembelajaran powerpoint interaktif mendapatkan respon yang sangat baik oleh siswa sehingga dinyatakan layak digunakan. Kategori yang didapatkan dengan rata-rata yang didapatkan; ahli media 3,7 dengan kategori “Sangat Baik,” ahli materi 3,32 dengan kategori “Sangat Baik,” guru kelas 3,67 dengan kategori “Sangat Baik,” dan siswa 3,90 dengan kategori “Sangat baik.” Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang digunakan pada penelitian ini mendapatkan respon yang “Sangat Baik”.

Abstract

Celengan dari botol bekas air mineral biasanya menjadi metode pembelajaran bagi anak-anak agar secara bertahap gemar menabung. Tapi di sisi lain memperaktikannya juga dapat berguna untuk mengurangi jumlah sampah dari plastik bekas yang tersebar di sekitar lingkungan tempat tinggal, yang mana apabila dibiarkan saja akan menjadi penyebab pencemaran lingkungan. Di sekitar kita botol-botol bekas sudah tidak asing lagi bagi kita, sehingga saya menuangkan ide untuk membuat kreasi dengan bahan dasar botol bekas menjadi sebuah tempat tabungan atau dengan istilah celengan yang menarik agar dapat mempunyai nilai jual yang tinggi. Kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan celengan dari botol bekas ini bertujuan untuk melatih keterampilan anak-anak untuk mengubah barang bekas menjadi barang yang berguna dan bermanfaat. Kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan celengan dari botol bekas ini bertujuan untuk melatih keterampilan anak- anak untuk mengubah barang bekas menjadi barang yang berguna dan bermanfaat. Barang bekas di ubah menjadi celengan untuk mengjarkan kepada anak-anak pentingnya menabung sejak dini. Melalui kegiatan ini anak-anak desa dapat mengembangkan kreativitasnya melalui pemanfatan barang-barang bekas yang dapat diolah menjadi produk yang bermanfaat bagi anak-anak di dusun banyudono. Kegiatan pembuatan celengan di Dusun Banyudono ini dihadiri oleh anak-anak yang sangat berantusias dalam melaksanakan kegiatan ini karena mereka dapat menghias celegan sesuai dengan yang mereka inginkan. Melalui kegiatan ini anak-anak Dusun Banyudono dapat mengembangkan kreativitas melalui pemanfaatan barang-barang bekas yang dapat diolah menjadi produk yang bermanfaat.

Abstract

The lack of learning media learning that dares make students find it challenging to learn, especially on the basic concepts of science. An alternative solution for students to learn independently is by developing modules with good module characteristics. This study aims to produce a product in the form of a valid science basic concept module according to the characteristics of a suitable module. This type of research is research and development research with Borg & Gall development procedures. The subjects of this study were three experts in assessment and one evaluation. The population in this study were elementary school teacher study students who took science courses, and the sample of this study was 9. The data collection technique in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires and product validation sheets. The data analysis technique was carried out using qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques. The results of this study indicate that the developed science module has clear, independent, independent, adaptive, user-friendly instructions with attractive graphics. The module validation results obtained an average of 103, with a very good category. The results of the response questionnaire distributed to ten students showed that as many as 80% of students added that they were accommodating in independent learning during the pandemic, and as many as 20%. Based on the modules developed were pretty helpful in implementing the learning process during the pandemic. It proves that the module developed is worthy of being used as a source of independent learning during the pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) analyze the level of critical thinking ability of fifth grade students based on visual learning style; 2) auditory; 3) kinesthetic. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The research subjects came from class V SDN 10 Kelapa Kampit Belitung Timur based on the results of questionnaire data processing with Rasch Model assisted by WinSteps Software, 6 subjects were selected, namely 2 people with visual learning styles, 2 people with auditory learning styles, and 2 people with kinesthetic learning styles. Then the subject was given a test in the form of a written description question, then the answers were analyzed and an interview was conducted. Data analysis techniques by collecting data, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The data collection techniques of this research are test and non-test techniques in the form of learning style questionnaires, critical thinking ability tests, and in-depth interviews on research subjects. The results showed that: 1) students with visual learning styles are able to fulfill 5 indicators of critical thinking ability. Students with visual learning styles are included in the very high level critical thinking category with a percentage of 84% and 92%; 2) students with auditory learning styles are able to fulfill 4 indicators of critical thinking ability. Students with auditory learning styles are included in the high level critical thinking category with a percentage of 76% and 80%; 3) students with kinesthetic learning styles are only able to fulfill 2 indicators of critical thinking ability. Students with kinesthetic learning styles belong to the low-level critical thinking category with a percentage of 32% and 40%.

Abstract

Tujuan – Observasi awal menunjukkan rendahnya kemandirian belajar peserta didik, yang ditandai oleh kurangnya inisiatif untuk belajar secara mandiri dan ketergantungan pada bantuan orang lain. Model Discovery learning diterapkan untuk mengatasi masalah ini dengan mendorong siswa untuk menemukan pengetahuan secara mandiri, berpikir kritis, dan memecahkan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa kelas VII dalam pembelajaran IPA melalui penerapan model Discovery learning. Hasil – Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemandirian belajar siswa dari siklus I (58%) ke siklus II (72%), menunjukkan bahwa model Discovery learning efektif dalam meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA di SMP Negeri 3 Sewon. Temuan – Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa model Discovery learning tidak hanya meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa kelas VII dalam pembelajaran IPA, tetapi juga keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah.

Abstract

Learning media in elementary schools is often neither innovative nor interactive. This presents a challenge for educators to design media that meets learning needs while engaging students. This research aims to develop board game-based learning media, "SICERIA," for fifth-grade elementary school IPAS subjects, specifically on the topic of the human digestive system. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) methode with the ADDIE model, encompassing analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Data collection involved observations, interviews, and questionnaires with students, educators, and subject matter experts. The results indicate that SICERIA received very positive ratings, showing improvements in learning motivation, visual quality, and implementation. This media enhances students' understanding of the abstract concept of the human digestive system and fosters collaborative learning and social skill development. Despite limitations such as a narrow material scope and relatively high production costs, SICERIA offers an innovative alternative aligned with the Merdeka curriculum. The positive feedback from students suggests that SICERIA is not only pedagogically effective but also visually appealing and relevant to learning needs. This research contributes significantly to the development of game-based learning media to improve elementary school education. Keywords: board game media; SICERIA; IPAS

Abstract

This paper outlines the implementation of Among Education, Environment, Economic, Culture, Healthy, and Outcome (Among E3CHO), a community engagement program in Bogoran Hamlet in Trirenggo Region of Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Among E3CHO initiative consists of multiple education, environment, economic, culture, and health engagement sessions aimed at generating a literacy story map, Peta Cerita Berliterasi, as an integrated outcome of community capacities. The program development followed community-based research methodologies, starting with the identification of challenges facing by the community using comprehensive questionnaires, followed by multiple community engagement programs. In the program, the health engagement session focuses on nutrition, and the economic session focused on tempeh dumpling preparation techniques. The educational environment engagement focuses on the cultivation of vegetables, medicinal herbs, flowers, and fruit plants using pots from repurposed plastic waste. Subsequent reflection and evaluation of each of the session in the programs were conducted to measure their efficacy and community satisfaction. The program led to a significant increase in knowledge of balanced nutrition, culinary arts, and cultural heritage among the community of Bogoran Hamlet. The integration of multiple aspects within one program increased the capacity of the Bogoran Hamlet community, creating a transformative literacy quality toward a sustainable positive impact on society.
