Abstract

Perineal laceration is trauma to the perineum due to tearing of the birth canal or due to an episiotomy at the time of expulsion of the fetus from the uterus. One of the causes of infection and bleeding is perineal laceration. Old perineal laceration wound healing can increase the risk of infection so it is necessary to fulfill nutritional intake, especially protein which will help the growth of new cells in the perineal laceration wound so that the perineal laceration healing process can be accelerated. This study aims to determine whether the administration of boiled egg white has an effect on the healing of perineal lacerations in postpartum mothers at the Pratama Nining Pelawati Clinic. This type of research uses a quasi-experimental design with One Group Pretest and Posttest design. The population and sample in this study were all postpartum mothers on the first day at the Pratama Nining Pelawati Clinic, totaling 20 people with a total sampling technique. Data were collected using a check list sheet. The results showed that the majority of respondents who consumed boiled egg whites had fast perineal lacerations healing as many as 17 people (85%). Based on the results of data analysis with the independent Sample T-Test test, the p value = 0.000 (p <0.05) which means that there is an effect of boiled egg white on the healing of perineal lacerations in postpartum mothers. The results of this study indicate that there is a match between theory and facts in the field where the fulfillment of nutritional intake in postpartum mothers, especially foods rich in protein will help accelerate the healing of perineal lacerations. Protein from eggs is useful as a building block to replace damaged cells and help the formation of new tissue in accelerating the healing process of perineal laceration.

Abstract

Fishermen are prone to skin diseases due to the influence of sunlight where the splash of sea air on the skin can cause itching due to its thickness by the salt pulling from the skin. sea water is a cause of dermatitis with primary stimulation properties. Occupational contact dermatitis that occurs on the hands and the incidence rate for dermatitis varies from 2% to 10%. It is estimated that 5% to 7% of people with dermatitis develop chronic and 2% to 4% of whom are difficult to cure topical treatment. This method of community service consists of two stages, namely the first stage is planning the activities to be carried out, these activities are indications of needs, indications of weaknesses and solutions that will be carried out. The second stage is the implementation of which the village head has obtained permission to carry out the activity, the implementation of the activity is carried out for two days. Abstract

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are the leading cause of death in the world. Deaths every year are caused by PTM. The prevalence of non-communicable diseases in Indonesia from 2007 – 2018 has increased, such as diabetes, hypertension, stroke, joint/rheumatic diseases. Posbindu PTM is a form of community participation in activities for early detection, monitoring and early follow-up of risk factors for Non-Communicable Diseases independently and in delivery. The PTM Posbindu is a form of community effort (UKM) which then develops into a community-based health effort (UKBM) through promotive and preventive efforts to detect and control early on the presence of PTM risk factors in an integrated manner. This activity aims to provide health education about the use of Posbindu to detect non-communicable diseases and increase knowledge and change attitudes about infectious diseases. The method of implementing the activity is using observation sheets and questionnaires about the use of posbindu in Petapahan sub-district to detect non-communicable diseases. From the results of the activities carried out, the community was very enthusiastic about welcoming this activity. Through this activity, it is hoped that public knowledge can increase and change behavior to be healthy so that it can extend life expectancy. Abstract

Osteoarthritis (OA) also known as degenerative joint disease is the most common in all forms of arthritis and causes pain and disability in the elderly. This disease is characterized by progressive loss of joint cartilage, synovitis (inflammation of the synovium that lines the joints), joint pain, stiffness, and loss of joint movement (Lemone, 2018:1679). Cutaneous stimulation that can be done is Slow-Stroke Back Massage. The correct use of cutaneous stimuli: slow-stroke back massage can reduce pain perception and help reduce muscle tension which can reduce pain intensity, besides that it can also cause dilation of blood vessels and improve blood circulation in the tissue. The purpose of this study was to determine the Effect of Cutaneous Stimulation of Slow Stroke Back Massage on Osteoarthritis Pain Intensity in the Elderly at Susoh Health Center, in 2021. This type of research is experimental. Data were analyzed for bivariate calculations in this study using Pair Samples t-test with the provisions of 0.05. Based on the results of statistical tests using the paired sample t-test, the p value (= 0.000) < (= 0.05) can be concluded that the hypothesis in the study is accepted, meaning that there is a difference in the mean pain intensity before and after cutaneous slow stroke stimulation.
