Abstract

This research examines business model innovation (BMI), which has recently received attention from academics and practitioners due to the enhancement of global competition and the constant need to adapt to the changing environment. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to provide an overview of state-of-the-art research on business model innovation by conducting a systematic literature review. The author's review provides a deeper understanding and detail on the main components of Business Model Innovation (BMI). Likewise, the author's research identifies the role of digitalization in Business Model Innovation. This study comprises a comprehensive literature evaluation with a particular focus on studies linked to the use of digital technologies and business models to understand better attempts to promote the usage of digital systems. This study aims to promote the academic conversation about how industrial companies might use digital technologies to innovate business models and create a sustainable industry. Implementing new business models that promote the implementation of digital systems necessitates an essential shift of the corporate ecosystem into one in which appreciation is jointly generated by suppliers, environment partners, and consumers through resource optimization and efficient functioning and use of technology.

Abstract

Objectives - The aim of the study was to identify and analyze the effect of incentivesand monitoring on employee performance through work motivation at theDepartment of Public Housing, Residential Areas and Transportation, MojokertoRegency.Design/Methodology/Approach – The sampling technique used is the saturatedsample technique, in which the entire population is sampled, totaling 85 people withthe status of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) (excluding leaders) of the Public Housing,Settlement Areas and Transportation Office (DPRKP2) Mojokerto Regency. Theprimary data collection method uses a questionnaire while the secondary datacollection uses the literature study method. Data analysis techniques in this studyused instrument tests, path analysis tests, and classical assumption tests.Findings - Based on the results of the research and discussion, it is concluded thatincentives can increase work motivation and employee performance, supervision canincrease work motivation and employee performance, motivation and incentives can directly increase employee performance. The discussion of the findings is explainedin the research findings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the perception and knowledge of the Muhammadiyah community - one of the largest religious organizations in Indonesia - towards Sharia principles in investing in Islamic financial products. Using a qualitative approach with Qualitative Data Analysis Software (Q-DAS), data were gathered through in-depth interviews and participatory observations with members of the Muhammadiyah community. The results indicate that the participants have a significant awareness of Sharia principles. They acknowledge the prohibition of usury and the importance of avoiding investments in industries deemed haram according to religious teachings. Participants understood Sharia principles well and used them as guidelines for making investment decisions. However, the study also revealed that the Muhammadiyah community's knowledge of Islamic financial products requires improvement. There is a need for enhanced understanding of the concepts, features, benefits, and risks associated with Islamic financial products. Factors such as access to information, education, previous experience, and religious beliefs influence people's perception and knowledge in this area. The study concludes that while the Muhammadiyah community is highly aware of Sharia principles in investing, a deeper knowledge and broader understanding of Islamic financial products are essential.

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the effects of leadership style and empowerment on job satisfaction and performance in Madura's traditional jamu centres. The study employed a questionnaire to collect data from 69 workers. The findings, with T-Statistics (3.755) > T-Table (1.96), demonstrated that leadership style had a favourable and substantial impact on performance. However, according to T-Statistics (0.843) < T-Table (1.96), leadership style did not significantly impact satisfaction. T-Statistics (11.138) exceeded T-Table (1.96), suggesting a significant and positive influence of empowerment on performance. T-Statistics (1.167) revealed that empowerment had no discernible impact on commitment. < T-Table 1.96. T-Statistics (3.459) > T-Table (1.96) indicates a positive and significant relationship between job satisfaction and performance. Job satisfaction was a major mediating factor in the effect of empowerment on performance, but it was not a mediating factor in the impact of leadership style on performance. Madura's traditional jamu centres could benefit from this research by selecting a leadership style and giving their staff more authority.

Abstract

Abstract. This research explores employee perceptions of Sharia principles in the context of Human Resource Management (HRM) at Bank Syariah Indonesia in Malang City, East Java. The study employs a case study design with a qualitative approach, chosen for its ability to provide an in-depth understanding of how employees perceive and apply Sharia principles within the framework of Sharia-oriented HRM at the bank. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis involving a purposive sample of 15 employees from various positions within the bank, including staff and managers, with diverse lengths of service and demographic characteristics. The findings suggest that education and training focused on Sharia principles are crucial in shaping employees' understanding and attitudes. Additionally, a Shariah-oriented organizational culture positively influences employee behaviors and attitudes, aligning them more closely with the institution's values. These results offer practical implications for Islamic financial institutions, emphasizing the need to strengthen educational programs and enhance organizational culture to foster Sharia-compliant human resources. Furthermore, the study highlights opportunities for better employee development, particularly in developing technical skills and integrating Islamic ethical values. In conclusion, this research significantly contributes to the literature on Islamic-oriented HRM and provides valuable insights for practitioners and researchers in the field. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi persepsi karyawan terhadap prinsip-prinsip Syariah dalam konteks Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (MSDM) di Bank Syariah Indonesia di Kota Malang, Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yang dipilih karena kemampuannya untuk memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang bagaimana karyawan memandang dan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip Syariah dalam kerangka kerja MSDM yang berorientasi Syariah di bank tersebut. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan analisis dokumen yang melibatkan sampel purposif sebanyak 15 karyawan dari berbagai posisi di bank, termasuk staf dan manajer, dengan masa kerja dan karakteristik demografis yang beragam. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan dan pelatihan yang berfokus pada prinsip-prinsip Syariah sangat penting dalam membentuk pemahaman dan sikap karyawan. Selain itu, budaya organisasi yang berorientasi pada Syariah secara positif mempengaruhi perilaku dan sikap karyawan, menyelaraskan mereka lebih dekat dengan nilai-nilai institusi. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi lembaga keuangan syariah, yang menekankan perlunya memperkuat program pendidikan dan meningkatkan budaya organisasi untuk membina sumber daya manusia yang patuh terhadap Syariah. Selain itu, penelitian ini menyoroti peluang untuk pengembangan karyawan yang lebih baik, terutama dalam mengembangkan keterampilan teknis dan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai etika Islam. Kesimpulannya, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap literatur tentang HRM berorientasi Islam dan memberikan wawasan yang berharga bagi para praktisi dan peneliti di lapangan. Abstract

This study analyzes HR strategies for optimal performance at PT Al Barik Travel and Umrah Malang, focusing on building an outstanding team through a SWOT analysis. It identifies key strengths, such as a skilled workforce and strong customer relationships, and pairs them with emerging opportunities in the travel industry, including the growing demand for personalized services and digital solutions. Recommended SO strategies include leveraging skilled employees to explore new markets and enhancing customer experiences through innovative technology. Ultimately, the research concludes that aligning organizational strengths with market opportunities can lead to improved performance and competitive advantage, emphasizing the importance of continuous training and development within the team.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Destination Image and Digital Marketing on tourist interest in Banyuwangi as a tourism destination. This research was conducted using qualitative data analysis (QDAS) methods and data was collected through a survey of 150 respondents who visited tourist destinations in Banyuwangi. The results revealed that Destination Image and Digital Marketing play an important role in generating tourists’ interest to visit Banyuwangi. However, several aspects need to be improved in Banyuwangi Tourism's digital marketing strategy, such as improving the quality of digital content, collaboration between stakeholders, and increasing the target market. Strategic recommendations include further investment in creative and interactive social media campaigns, continuous updates to the destination's official website, and the development of mobile applications that add users' value. By implementing these recommendations, the government and tourism industry players can ensure that Banyuwangi continues to develop as an attractive and competitive tourist destination. Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada Analisis Kebijakan pengendalian Internal Persediaan Obat di Instalasi farmasi RSUD Waluyo Jati. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, studi kasus pada RSUD Waluyo Jati Kraksaan dengan mengevaluasi Kebijakan pengendalian internal persediaan Obat Instalasi farmasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Pemilihan Responden dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, kuesioner, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kebijakan pengendalian internal persediaan Obat Instalasi farmasi di RSUD RSUD Waluyo Jati Kraksaan telah melaksanakan praktek Kebijakan pengendalian internal dan belum terdokumentasi dengan baik. Namun evaluasi atas kebijakan pengendalian internal dilakukan tanpa dokumentasi yang memadai. Kebijakan pengendalian Internal bertujuan sebagai alat untuk mengawasi proses Kebijakan pengendalian Internal pada persediaan Obat Instalasi farmasi sehingga tujuan Rumah Sakit dapat tercapai. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pertama yang dilakukan pada pengelolaan persediaan farmasi di RSUD Waluyo Jati Kraksaan dengan menggunakan kerangka kerja SPIP.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengindentifikasi dan menganalisa tata kelola pemungutan Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan (PBB) dan kendala yang menghambat tata kelola pemungutan PBB di Kelurahan Patokan. Jenis Penelitian ini Kualitatif Deskriptif. Tenik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tata kelola pemungutan PBB dilihat dari metode POAC prinsip – prinsip manajemen dalam hal perencanaan (planning) tata kelola sudah cukup tersistem dan terarah, untuk pengorganisasian (organizing) dalam jumlah pemungut pajak sudah mencukupi dengan area luas Kelurahan Patokan disertai dengan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai,namun pada pelaksanaan (actuating) belum terlaksana dengan baik. Kurang efektif dalam hal koordinasi ,komunikasi dan pemberian perintah. dan untuk pengawasan (controling) sudah cukup baik sehingga penyimpangan dalam penagihan PBB dapat diminimalisir. Namun yang terpenting yang sangat mendukung terwujudnya tata kelola PBB yang lebih baik untuk mengoptimalkan penerimaan PBB adalah motivasi petugas pemungut dengan ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana, insentif , pengembangan diri dan ketersediaan SDM yang masih jauh dari harapan. Kekurangan ini mengakibatkan pemetaan dan pendataan serta database yang berguna untuk mendapatkan penerimaan yang sesuai target tidak tercapai, kendala lainnya adalah minimnya anggaran dan kepatuhan masyarakat sebagai wajib pajak yang masih rendah

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of remuneration and financial efficacy on financial well-being. The study used a quantitative approach and data was obtained by distributing questionnaires. Research respondents are administrative employees of state universities in Malang City. The questionnaires that were returned and declared eligible to be used as research data were 146 respondents, and then analyzed using SEM-PLS. The results showed that remuneration and financial efficacy had a positive effect on financial well-being. Financial efficacy has also succeeded in mediating the relationship between remuneration and financial well-being, although the value is relatively small. Remuneration as a form of compensation has been shown to increase financial well-being and financial efficacy contributes to strengthening this relationship.
