Abstract

Production scheduling plays a critical role in manufacturing by determining the sequence and timing of production jobs while balancing multiple operational objectives, including lead time, tardiness, on-time delivery, and machine utilization. Achieving these objectives is increasingly challenging in dynamic manufacturing environments where production efficiency and delivery reliability must be optimized simultaneously. This study presents a descriptive evaluation of intelligent production scheduling using two complementary datasets representing a national steel manufacturing context. The first dataset contains 50 paired production-job records comparing conventional scheduling with optimized scheduling in terms of lead time and tardiness. The second dataset provides an aggregate performance benchmark of five scheduling approaches: First Come First Serve (FCFS), Shortest Processing Time (SPT), Earliest Due Date (EDD), Genetic Algorithm (GA), and Adaptive AI Scheduling. The job-level analysis summarizes paired changes in lead time, reported tardiness, and priority-group performance without interpreting the observations as evidence from a controlled field experiment. Benchmark results indicate that Adaptive AI Scheduling achieved the lowest reported total makes pan of 341.2 hours, compared with 487.3 hours under FCFS, representing a descriptive reduction of 29.98%. The same approach reported a mean tardiness of 1.4 hours, substantially lower than 12.6 hours for FCFS, while achieving 96.0% on-time delivery and 91.7% machine utilization. Across all fifty paired production records, optimized scheduling consistently produced shorter lead times than conventional scheduling. Reported tardiness also declined from three delayed jobs with 16.5 hours of total tardiness under conventional scheduling to one delayed job with 3.9 hours following optimization. Because the datasets do not include a common implementation protocol or experimental controls, the findings describe favorable scheduling patterns rather than causal effects of artificial intelligence. This study contributes a transparent evaluation framework that separates job-level scheduling comparisons from method-level performance benchmarks, providing practical decision support for intelligent manufacturing scheduling assessment and continuous production improvement

Abstract

Analisis kegiatan dalam maintenance mesin vertical sterilizer sangat penting dalam sebuah perusahaan untuk peningkatan kinerja dan dapat meningkatkan sistem secara efektif. permasalahan yang dihadapi pada industri untuk sekarang ini adalah bagaimana membuat efektif kerja dalam peningkatan kinerja perusahaan untuk menjaga kestabilan perusahaan dalam meningkatkan ekonomi dan menjaga kestabilan perusahaan dalam persaingan global. tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat kesiapan maintenance pada setiap mesin, persiapan mesin dalam kelancaran produksi dalam selanjutnya melakukan evaluasi pada setiap mesin dengan menggunakan model reliability centered maintenance (rcm) untuk tindakan kerusakan mesin dan perawatan tiap komponen yang sesuai dengan permasalahan mesin tersebut pada operasional produk. Penelitian ini dikhususkan  untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kerusakan mesin sterilizer dengan model RCM dan dapat mengetahui tindakan kegiatan perawatan yang tepat untuk setiap komponen yang ada pada mesin sterilizer. Data yang diambil pada penelitian ini yaitu data kerusakan mesin sterilizer. metodelogi penelian ini adalah analisis data sebelumna dan melakukan wawancara kegiatan perawatan mesin sterilizer dan jenis tindakan sesuai dengan perawatan pada mesin. hal ini sangat penting tindakan kegiatan perawatan yang tepat untuk tiap komponen mesin strerilizer. Hasil penelitian ini dapat melihat komponen Top Door dan Bottom Door tindakan perawatan yaitu Condition Directed (33,3%), untuk komponen pipa steam tindakan perawatan yaitu Failure Fainding (16,7%), untuk komponen Auger dan Manometer tindakan perawatan yaitu Run To Failure (33,3%), dan yang terakhir komponen Body Rebusan tindakan perawatan yaitu Time Directed (16,7%).

Abstract

PT. Jampalan Baru merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi sabun batang dan sabun cream. dalam memproduksi sabun batang perusahaan masih menghasilkan produk sabun yang belum memuaskan konsumen. maka diperlukan upaya untuk melihat sejauh mana pencapaian perusahaan yang perlu dipertahankan dan ditingkatkan oleh perusahaan dalam memproduksi sabun batang dengan tujuan mengetahui tingkat kepuasan konsumen dan memberikan usulan perbaikan produk dengan metode IPA. kepuasan konsumen itu suatu keadaan dimana kebutuhan, keinginan, dan harapan konsumen dapat terpenuhi melalui jasa atau produk yang dikonsumsi. Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) digunakan untuk membuat peringkat (rangking) bermacam-macam atribut jasa dan mengidentifikasikan tindakan apa yang perlu dilakukan oleh perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan PT Jampalan Baru memiliki kualitas yang sudah baik dan harapan terpenuhi. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa nasabah merasa puas dengan produk tersebut. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan jumlah rata-rata dari tingkat kepuasan konsumen pada hasil tingkat sesuaian responden yang mencapai 95%. Meskipun pada kenyataannya masih ada beberapa item atribut yang memerlukan peningkatan dan harus tetap diprioritaskan perbaikannya. Terdapat 3 atribut pada kuadran I, 5 atribut pada kuadran II, 3 atribut pada kuadran III dengan rekomendasi perbaikan pada kuadran Utama yaitu menambahkan pewangi pada sabun batang, mengurangi kadar air dalam pembuatan sabun dan menambah komposisi warna yang lebih cerah pada sabun batang.

Abstract

Analisis kualitas air kolam merupakan faktor krusial dalam budidaya perikanan yang berdampak langsung pada pertumbuhan ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan kualitas air kolam dengan mengimplementasikan model klasifikasi sistem cerdas dengan metode K-NN. Model ini digunakan untuk analisis dalam mengidentifikasi status mutu air dan hubungannya dengan pertumbuhan ikan. Kualitas air ikan dapat dinilai berdasarkan parameter fisik, kimia, dan biologis yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup ikan. Penelitian ini juga memanfaatkan berbagai algoritma klasifikasi cerdas untuk menganalisis data kualitas air, yang memungkinkan identifikasi cepat kualitas air kolam berdasarkan indeks pencemaran dan parameter lainnya. Algoritma KNN terbuki dalam klasifikasi kualitas air, dengan kinerja yang baik dalam berbagai aplikasi untuk melihat dalam mengoptimalkan hasil pertumbuhan ikan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem klasifikasi berbasis cerdas tidak hanya meningkatkan akurasi dalam penilaian kualitas air, tetapi juga memudahkan petani dalam pengambilan keputusan mengenai tindakan perawatan yang perlu dilakukan, seperti penggantian air atau penggunaan bahan kimia untuk penyesuaian kualitas air.hasil penelitian ini adanya analisis kualitas air kolam melalui model klasifikasi cerdas tidak hanya memberikan solusi teknologi yang efektif untuk perikanan, tetapi juga memperkuat pemahaman tentang hubungan antara kualitas air dan pertumbuhan ikan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap praktik budidaya perikanan yang berkelanjutan dan efisien.

Abstract

Persediaan material berperan penting dalam menunjang kelancaran kegiatan operasional PT XYZ. Hasil observasi awal menunjukkan adanya ketidaksesuaian antara data persediaan pada sistem SAP dengan kondisi fisik material di gudang, yang berpotensi mengganggu proses penyimpanan, pencarian, dan pengeluaran material. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kesesuaian persediaan, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebab ketidaksesuaian, serta menyusun usulan perbaikan pengelolaan persediaan material menggunakan metode DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), berdasarkan data stock opname bulan Februari 2025. Hasil pada tahap Measure menunjukkan tingkat akurasi persediaan sebesar 76,62%, dengan 59 dari 77 item sesuai, sedangkan 18 item (23,38%) mengalami ketidaksesuaian (16 stock shortage, 2 overstock). Tahap Analyze mengidentifikasi empat faktor penyebab, yaitu Man, Method, Material, dan Environment, meliputi kurangnya ketelitian petugas dalam pencatatan, pelaksanaan stock opname yang belum berkala dan masih manual, material tanpa label identitas, serta tata letak gudang yang belum optimal. Usulan perbaikan pada tahap Improve dan Control meliputi peningkatan ketelitian petugas, pemberian label identitas material, penataan ulang tata letak gudang, serta pelaksanaan stock opname secara berkala disertai monitoring dan audit SOP rutin.

Abstract

Buildings are an essential part of human life. Building maintenance is carried out to provide security and comfort for building users. This study aims to determine and analyze the implementation of building maintenance, the influence of maintenance factors on building maintenance, and what maintenance factors have a dominant influence on the comfort of building users at PT. Campina Ice Cream Industry Tbk. This study uses a quantitative approach to data collection using a questionnaire. The population used in this study were employees at the PT. Campina Ice Cream Industry Tbk has a total of 520 employees. Meanwhile, the research sample was 72 employees at PT. Campina Ice Cream Industry Tbk. The data was tested using the validity test and reliability test. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis with hypothesis testing using the t-test. The study results show that the condition of building maintenance is carried out at the factory of PT. Campina Ice Cream Industry Tbk, through architectural, mechanical, and electrical maintenance, has been carried out well, starting from wall and window maintenance and wall/glass cleaning, properly providing and maintaining health facilities, and holding office facilities and infrastructure, especially in regular electrical installations. The results of the t-test show that architectural, mechanical, and electrical maintenance has a significant effect on comfort. The building maintenance variable that has the dominant influence on comfort is the electrical maintenance variable.

Abstract

PT. Ika Bina Agro Wisesa (IBAS) is a company that produces products in the form of crude oil or CPO (Crude Palm Oil). The company sets a minimum production target of FFB that must be processed to reach 30 tons in one boiling with a minimum production target of 600 tons/day. The company is required to increase productivity. The problem so far is that the company has never measured the productivity of the production process, which will then affect the achievement of production targets. Measurement of productivity is critical because the measursizeoductivity can determine whether the company meets productivity targets for production or not. Therefore, it is necessary to measure productivity to assess the value of productivity and efforts to increase productivity in CPO production and how to increase productivity in CPO production and efforts to increase productivity using the Objective Matrix (OMAX) method at PT. Ika Bina Agro Wisesa. Analysis of productivity using the OMAX method, ratio 3 (labor productivity) and ratio 4 (machine productivity) has a very high percentage of poor performance, which means that ratio and 4 have an insufficient level of productivity. Unlike the case with the achievement of productivity ratio 1 (productivity of raw materials) and ratio 2 (productivity of working hours) wh, ich shows a low percentage of poor performance, which means that the productivity level of ratio one and ratio 2 has a better productivity level than ratio three and ratio 4 Analysis The results of the productivity index in the company decreased and increased for each month, in November it experienced a decrease of -79.49, while in December it experienced a significant increase in the amount of 595.02 and January at 69.98. in February decreased to -23.63. Furthermore, productivity in March - September 2021 was unstable, with an increase and dropped for July, a decrease of -0.64 and, a slight increase in August of 0.28.

Abstract

Indonesia is an earthquake-prone area; to reduce the risk of disasters, it is necessary to construct earthquake-resistant buildings. The concept of earthquake-resistant buildings attempts to make all structural elements into a unified whole that is not easily collapsed by an earthquake. In general, the planning of the structure of an apartment is made of a prototype whose structure is calculated to be earthquake-resistant. However, not all flats are built in earthquake-prone areas. One is in Central Borneo Province, which is not prone to earthquakes. The research aims to determine the comparison of the dimensions and reinforcement requirements on the prototype with Kriteria  Desain  Struktur (KDS) 'BC' Structural Design Criteria compared to structural planning in the Central Borneo Seismic Mitigation Area. Design standards refer to SNI 1727:2013, SNI 2847:2013, SNI 2847-2019, and SNI 1726-2019. The building being studied is the Type 36 Prototype Flat (5 floors) using concrete fc' 22.8 MPa and reinforcing steel my 420 MPa. Research on Columns and Beams' superstructure includes the design of the structural dimensions and reinforcement requirements. Structural dimensions and reinforcement area will be designed efficiently and declared safe by controlling the reinforcement ratio(p). Structural dimensional limitations. Structural calculation analysis using the  ETABS computer application.

Abstract

Transportation Land transportation influences national economic growth. Due to the existence of land transportation modes, the national economy can continue to grow from year to year. This study analyzed the variable relationship between land transportation through road length data, road condition data, and GRDP in the wholesale and retail trade sectors. The results of this study show that good national road conditions have a very low positive correlation (0.079). And has an insignificant relationship to GRDP (0.665 0.05). National road conditions have a shallow level of positive correlation (0.074). And has a negligible relationship to GRDP (0.679 0.05). Damaged national road conditions have a superficial negative correlation (-0.040). And has an insignificant relationship to GRDP (0.823 0.05). National road conditions severely damaged did not pass the requirements test, normality test results (0.024 0.05). Provincial road conditions are good, with a positive correlation (0.681). And has a significant relationship to GRDP (0.00 0.05). Medium local roads have a good level of positive correlation (0.586). And has a substantial relationship to GRDP (0.00 0.05). The condition of damaged provincial roads has a low negative correlation (-0.103). It has an insignificant relationship to GRDP (0.563 0.05). The condition of the badly damaged national road does not pass the requirements test, the normality test (0.024 0.05). Moderate district/city road conditions have an average positive correlation (0.356). And has a significant relationship to GRDP (0.039 0.05). The condition of district/city roads is damaged and has a shallow correlation level of (0.105). It has an insignificant relationship with GRDP (0.555 0.05). The condition of district/city roads is badly damaged and has a shallow correlation level of (0.105). It has an insignificant relationship with GRDP (0.555 0.05).
