Abstract

This paper presents the design and development of an automatic dual energy solar powered Moringa dryer used to remove moisture. Moringa leaves are circulated by hot air evenly in a cylindrical mesh of aluminum mesh which rotates at 20 revolutions per minute through which hot air is passed to extract moisture from the leaves. The Arduino Uno or Atmega32 microcontroller works in conjunction with appropriate sensors to monitor and control humidity, moisture content, motor speed, room temperature, heater, and fan. Based on the moisture content in the Moringa leaves, the sensor sends a control signal to the controller. The results showed a good response in removing the initial moisture content from 18.5% to the final moisture content to 4% of green leaves without changing the nutritional value. Qualitative analysis showed that traditional drying, namely open drying, drying Moringa leaves each for 3 days in 12 hours with a final moisture content of 7%, while double solar drying only takes 3 days in 12 hours with a final moisture content of 4%, and produce better quality Moringa leaves. High efficiency in the drying process of Moringa leaves compared to traditional drying, where this tool can dry Moringa leaves faster by 3%.

Abstract

This research describes the performance of maximum power point tracking as a solar collector of PV system integration for agriculture product drying system. The system comprises of solar collector, tracking PV array, the battery bank, the micro controller and the DC converter. This system is design to enhance the work of solar collector in drying process.. This design is hoped to be an appropriate system in order to ensure the maximum result by providing solar radiation energy. This paper shows the experiment data of the voltage and power response in positioning the PV to yield a maximum photovoltaic array output power of solar drying system device.

Abstract

Background One of the health problems that still exist in Indonesia is the death of children under five years of age (toddlers). malnutrition status is still be the big cause. The condition of providing nutrition to children in Indonesia is very bad compared to the nutrition of children in the world. Therefore, this is a very important to children get good and balanced nutritional intake to support the child's growth in the future and permanently and at high risk, namely stunting. The purpose of this community service is to provide counseling on nutrition fulfillment in preventing stunting in toddlers. The method of implementing community service is directly using counseling methods, and physical examination of toddlers at posyandu in Rawang Itek Village, Panton Labu District, North Aceh Regency. The results of counseling and physical examinations at the posyandu indicated that the nutrition of toddlers in Rawang Itek village was in a good category, only mothers who had toddlers were still not doing frequent and routine health checks up for toddlers by bringing their children to the posyandu. Conclusion of community service it can be concluded that the role of the mother is very important in the development of toddlers. Toddlers must be routinely brought to the posyandu and carry out physical examinations and checks for nutritional status.

Abstract

At this time, electricity has become a primary need for the community, the existence of the State Electricity Company (PLN) is very supportive of all community activities. The high use of electricity can cause negative effects for users, where the higher the use of electricity, the greater the costs incurred. This is what triggers the emergence of things that are not wanted in society. One of them is the emergence of a desire to steal electric current. In general, people do not know what the risks are due to stealing the electric current. In addition, there are other ways to reduce excessive use of electricity, one of which is by assembling a solar micro-power plant, of which not many people know about the use of assembling the power plant. Based on this, service is carried out with the aim of providing explanations and adding knowledge to the community in the safe use of electrical energy; provide explanations and increase knowledge for the public about the risk of theft of electrical energy; increase community participation in using and protecting the environment by using alternative energy; foster a strong bond between the Blang Pulo gampong which is the closest village to the Malikussaleh University Bukit Indah campus and the Malikussaleh University academic community, especially the electric energy-saving extension team. The counseling activity on the risk of theft of PLN flows in the village of Blang Pulo is carried out in the following activity methods: Program introduction, assembly and delivery of various forms of energy, especially solar energy; The submission of a frugal living attitude according to Islamic law is accompanied by showing several verses of the Koran and hadith and conveying the risks due to stealing electric current. The expected results of this service are through the micro-solar electricity empowerment program and energy-saving counseling, It is hoped that the awareness, sensitivity and participation of lecturers and the community of Blang Pulo will grow and develop in the safe and efficient use of electrical energy so that there is an adequate supply of electricity and there will be no longer rotating blackouts caused by the limited supply of electricity from the PLN, and explain the consequences if electrical energy is stolen for personal or group use in order to be able to use electrical energy for free.

Abstract

This study discusses the use of solar energy as a clean and widely available alternative. The performance of solar panels is influenced by various factors including solar radiation, module, temperature, and distribution of the sunlight spectrum. Temperature issues in solar panels can be addressed through passive cooling, such as installing a heatsink. A passive cooling system is implemented by installing a heatsink with four layers of fins on the body panel of the solar module. The advantage of passive cooling with constellations is that it does not require additional energy from outside, while a large number of fins can achieve the best passive cooling constellation. Each heatsink utilizes eight fins with a total of three heatsinks, manufactured from aluminum. Vector values of wind speed, humidity, and temperature are studied through direct measurements. A 100 W polycrystalline solar module at a standard temperature of 25 ℃ produces an open circuit voltage of 22 +V.

Abstract

One of the products that need attention, especially related to packaging, is the Talang Salted Fish product, which has been selling Talang Salted Fish without using packaging. So that this study aims to design the packaging of talang salted fish to add selling value which can later be an attraction for consumers to buy it. The method used is value engineering and the analytical hierarchy process (AHP). The value engineering method is applied to increase the value, performance, and cost of packaging design consisting of brand criteria, net weight measurement, product identity, attractiveness, color suitability, typography, and font size. The Analytical Hierarchy Process  method is applied at the analysis stage to help determine the priority criteria in accordance with the wishes of consumers. The results showed that the alternative design with the highest performance value was alternative 1 (A-B-D-E), namely the design with packaging materials made of transparent plastic, the colors used were bright, the packaging was rectangular and all capital letters were used. This selected alternative design has a value of 0.039. This value is obtained from the performance of 38.9 and the cost of Rp. 1000 per pack.

Abstract

The village is the lowest regional unit in the state administrative apparatus in Indonesia Indonesia, where the village is currently entering a new era after the birth of the Village Law. Village are expected to become socially, culturally, economically, and politically independent. Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) as business and economic institutions is expected to welcome the village community to be more independent, especially in economy. Currently BMUG Pulo Makmue is still facing various obstacles in carrying out its operations, especially in determining business strategies to increase business scale based on priority scales. This study aims to determine the policy priorities that can be taken as a business strategy to increase the Business Scale of BMUG Ulee Makmue. With the increase in business scale, BMUG Pulo Makmue will become an independent and advanced BMUG so that it can meet the expectations of the people of Ulee Pulo Village in terms of improving their welfare. The research was conducted by conducting surveys and collecting data directly in the field while still applying the Covid 19 process. The research method used was the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) analysis to determine the potential for developing study BUMDes in Ulee Pulo Village. The expected result in this study is the potential of Gampong that can be developed by considering the available resources based on a priority scale.

Abstract

At this time the cost of electricity is very expensive which is felt by the community because the government is still exploring oil and natural gas which is the need for non-renewable energy sources that are running low. This non-renewable energy still dominates for power generation in the thousands of Mega Watts. To anticipate the problem of non-renewable energy that is so big, you can use the On Grid-Tie System, sunlight is converted into DC voltage through the Solar Module, a pure DC voltage that comes out of the solar module. And Off Grid-Tie System namely sunlight is converted into DC voltage through the Solar Module, pure DC voltage generated from the solar module. Then the pure DC voltage uses a DC to DC regulation module or is called a DC regulator. DC regulator which aims to regulate the storage of DC current into the battery. Then the battery is used to supply power to the inverter. The method used in this study uses an off-grid solar home system as a power supply for households that are far from the electricity network or save electricity consumption due to expensive electricity rates. For settings for the intensity of sunlight using a portable holder, the solar panels are shifted manually in order to get the optimal light intensity to produce large output power. In off-grid application testing at household loads, from a load test of 93.5 watts to 750 watts, it shows that the load current is getting bigger and the discharging current is also large so that the duration of using the off-grid system from a load of 93.5 watts is 6 hours long and at a load of 750 watts. up to 15 minutes. This is because the condition of the lead-acid battery is maintained from 13.56 to 11.5 Volt DC, the battery should not be forced below the 11.5 Volt voltage because it will cause damage to the battery. For the use of loads that respond to very high instantaneous currents such as electric irons, dispensers, rice cookers should use more batteries and use an off-grid system voltage higher than 12 Volt DC.

Abstract

A sterilizer is a pressurized steam vessel used to boil palm oil. The condition of the sterilizer at PT .X often emits steam at the door and body of the stew. Throughout 2020, there were 12 critical components that were frequently damaged, such as ball valve, actuator, exhaust valve, packing door, elbow, condensate nozzle, liner, pipe, condensate valve, strainer valve, pipe flange, and packing flange. Fault Tree Analysis is an analysis tool that graphically translates the combinations of errors that cause system failures. Reliability Block Diagram is a diagramming method for showing how reliability components contribute to the success or failure of a complex system. Based on the results of the failure calculation using fault tree analysis, the probability of failure of the horizontal sterilizer component is the ball valve 12.2%, exhaust valve 10.9% actuator 6%, door packing 0.24%, elbow 0.24%, condensate nozzle 4.8%, liner 8.61%, 0.25% pipe, 0.21% condensate valve, 4.4% filter valve, 0.22% pipe flange and 0.27% packing flange. The reliability value of the horizontal sterilizer from the calculation using the reliability block diagram is 85.69% if it operates for 8 hours, 62.93% if it operates for 27 hours, 39.6% if it operates for 54 hours, 13.34% if it operates for 117 hours. o'clock. o'clock. o'clock. hours and 1.81% when operating for 234 hours. To maintain reliability above 60%, the preventive maintenance schedule is: Every 80 hours of operation a door packing inspection is carried out. Every 234 hours of operation, elbow tubing and flanges are checked. Every 300 hours of operation, a pipe inspection is carried out. Every 450 operational hours an inspection is carried out on the ball valve, condensate nozzle, liner, actuator, and exhaust valve. Every 30 hours of operation, valve condensate, filter valves and packing flanges are checked.

Abstract

Undang-undang No. 30 tahun 2009 tentang Ketenagalistrikan. Kebijakan penerpan P2TL itu sendiri dilaksanakan berdasarkan pada Surat Keputusan Direksi PT PLN (Persero) Nomor: 1486.K/DIR/2011 tentang Penertiban Pemakaian Tenaga Listrik.  Pencurian listrik menjadi kasus yang perlu diwaspadai. Salah satu faktor, dilakukannya pencurian listrik karena adanya kenaikan tarif listrik dan para oknum masyarakat banyak alasan lainnya mencuri arus listrik. Maka banyak pelaku yang menjalankan aksi pencurian listrik dengan dalih ingin memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya. Tetapi perbuatan ini tidak dibenarkan. karena dapat membawa pengaruh buruk dan merugikan bagi banyak pihak.   Selain pengguna, bahkan negara juga akan terkena imbasnya. Pasal 51 Ayat 3Undang-undang Nomor 30 Tahun 2009 tentang Ketenagalistrikan menyebutkan, bahwa Setiap orang yang menggunakan tenaga listrik yang bukan haknya secara melawan hukum dipidana dengan pidana penjara paling lama 7 (tujuh) tahun dan denda paling banyak Rp.2.500.000.000,00 (dua miliar lima ratus juta rupiah). Kegiatan penyuluhan pelaksanaan Sosialisasi Penegakan Hukum Denda Administrasi Dan Sanksi Pidana Terhadap  Pencurian Arus Lisrik Di Gampong Blang Pulo Kecamatan Muara Satu Kota Lhoksemawe ini sebagai salah satu bentuk kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam mengemban amanat Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi. Penyuluhan ini merupakan bukti partisipasi dosen dan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan dan membudayakan program hidup hemat penggunaan daya arus listrik dan tidak melakukan pencurian daya listrik secara ilegal khususnya dalam penggunaan energi listrik. Kegiatan penyuluhan pelaksanaan Sosialisasi Penegakan Hukum Denda Administrasi Dan Sanksi Pidana Terhadap  Pencurian Arus Lisrik, diharapkan dapat meningkat cara pandang dan wawasan masyarakat dalam mengurangi aksi melakukan pencurian arus listrik.Ini akan memberikan dampak yang luar biasa terhadap keselamatan jiwa dan ketenangan hidup, dan juga dapat menimbulkan terjadinya kekurangan kapasitas daya energi listrik,  sehingga mengakibatkan kerugian bagi masyarakat lainnya karena kekurangan daya listrik dirumah-rumah; Akibatnya listrik bisa sering padam atau mati lampu, dan dapat memicu kebakaran akibat hubung singkat arus listrik. Diharapkan pada masyarakat bahwa dampak dari mencuri arus listrik dapat diancam pidana dan denda sebagaimana di atur dalam Pasal 51 ayat 3 Undang-undang Nomor 30 Tahun 2009 tentang Ketenagalistrikan menyebutkan, bahwa setiap orang yang menggunakan tenaga listrik yang bukan haknya secara melawan hukum dipidana dengan pidana penjara paling lama 7 tahun dan denda paling banyak Rp 2,5 miliar.
