Abstract

Several carp farming farmers in Bakalan Hamlet expressed worry about frequent disease outbreaks, sluggish development, and carp mortality due to water quality that dropped below the culture requirement. In response to these issues, the water quality monitoring system was developed. The information gathered by the sensors will be transmitted to the Thingspeak webserver. Accessing the monitoring system and determining the current state of water quality measures can be accomplished by using a smartphone. Assume that the measurements for water quality do not fulfill the standards for cultured water in this case. Suppose the water quality parameters do not match the cultured water quality standards. In that case, the information will be displayed on a web interface via a smartphone so that gurami farmers know what steps will be taken to overcome this. This water quality monitoring system can benefit carp farmers so that the production of carp aquaculture is maximized. The result of this community service activity was that the tool was successfully made and worked well. The existence of this tool greatly helped the partner's response to this activity.

Abstract

A manufacturing company in production activities requires machinery and equipment. The machine has reliability, namely the opportunity for the machine to operate according to its function in a certain period. Company XYZ is a company located in Sidoarjo and is engaged in manufacturing with the main product being White Crystal Sugar (GKP). Company XYZ has several machines or equipment that operate 24 hours throughout the milling season with a series and parallel system so that the probability of damage to machine components is quite high. One of the machines that are often damaged is the boiler engine. Based on the problems that exist in this company, it is necessary to evaluate the engine performance at the boiler station during the milling period. The methods used in this research are Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Root Cause Analysis. The OEE value obtained by the machine at the boiler station at Company XYZ for machines that have a value above the ideal standard of 85%, namely bagasse carrier IV, bagasse carrier III, bagasse carrier II, belt conveyor, reclaimer I, and reclaimer II. Meanwhile for machines that have a value below the ideal standard of 85%, namely boilers KCC of 77.98%, boilers FCB of 81.73%, and bagasse carrier I of 82.37%. This condition shows that production is considered reasonable, but still shows that there is a large room for the company to make developments.

Abstract

To support industrial development in the era of super-smart society 5.0, the State Vocational High School 1 Kras Kediri seeks to produce competent graduates by applying a teaching model that has a constructive paradigm, involves the active role of students, and prioritizes practicum. It is intended that SMK graduates can compete in the 21st-century industry. The problem of schools today is the lack of complete learning support equipment. So that learning is less effective. On the other hand, the implementation of learning is still dominated by a teacher-oriented learning system. So to support the Computer Network Engineering skill competency program in basic programming subjects, a Line Follower Robot Trainer was developed. The Line Follower Robot Trainer that has been made has sophisticated specifications using an ESP32 microcontroller processor. In addition, 21st-century learning revitalization workshops were also conducted which were attended by teachers of SMK Negeri 1 Kras Kediri to strengthen the 21st-century learning paradigm based on students (student-oriented learning). In general, the results of the community service program that have been implemented can overcome the problems faced by SMK Negeri 1 Kras, the Computer Engineering expertise program in programming subjects.

Abstract

PT ABC ialah perusahaan di bidang usaha pembuatan Pipa PVC serta HDPE. Permasalahan yang terjadi di perusahaan yakni produk defect pipa HDPE sangat besar sehingg menyebabkan menyebabkan kerugian pada perusahaan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Lean Manufacturing Dan rekomendasi dengan menggunakan metodeFailure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Metode Lean Manufacturing Adalah metode yang sangat cocok digunakan dikarenakan untuk mencari tahu akar permasalahan dari defect yang terjadi. Dan supaya defect itu berkurang. Berdasarkan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) Terdapat reduksi waktu produksi sebesar 65 menit dari lead time pada big picture mapping awal sebesar 324 menit menjadi 259 menit pada big picture mapping usulan. Terdapat 3 waste yang memiliki nilai Risk Priority Number tertinggi yaitu Waste defect disebabkan oleh Suhu Hoper dan Extruder yang kurang stabil pada proses pemanasan mesin dan peleburan biji plastik, waste Overproduction disebabkan Planning produksi yang kurang tepat, Serta Defect yang terjadi membuat produk harus di kerjakan ulang. Waste waiting disebabkan Terjadi delay dikarenakan Menunggu pemanasan suhu dalam Hoper. Rekomendasi perbaikan yang dapat diusulkan yaitu Pembuatan jadwal perawatan atau maintenance pada mesin Hoper dan Extruder, dan jika memungkinkan mengganti ke mesin yang lebih baru dan dengan sistem yang terotomasi. Dan Menambah kapasitas mesin Crusher (pengolah defect) dengan kapasitas yang lebih besar agar defect tidak menumpuk di gudang defect, karena kapasitas mesin Crusher (pengolah defect) lebih kecil daripada defect yang di hasilkan.

Abstract

Tlogopatut village is a village in Gresik which good economic growth with many historical buildings. The growth of the community's economy has resulted commercial buildings along the main road. The visual of commercial buildings is not accompanied by control the appearance of the building that’s impact to the chaotic of the visual of city. Preservation of historic buildings is an effective way to control the visual of buildings and be a promotion. Increasing public appreciation in controlling the values ​​of old buildings on the visual of the city can be do with socialization, counseling, design consultation and make a visual design to the village. First activity is socialization to understanding of potentials historic buildings. Second, inform the results of the design of the visual arrangement of the building which from the potentials of the old building. Third, conduct consultations in arranging the appearance of the building that’s a local characteristics.

Abstract

PT. XYZ merupakan salah satu perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi garden furniture. Salah satu garden furniture dengan permintaan yang tertinggi yaitu jenis adirondack chair. Permasalahan yang dihadapi PT. XYZ yaitu tidak terpenuhinya target produksi dan sering terjadi bottleneck sehingga menyebabkan banyaknya waktu menganggur dan rendahnya efisiensi lintasan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu memperbaiki lintasan produksi agar waktu menganggur berkurang dan memperoleh tingkat efisiensi lintasan yang tinggi dengan analisis line balancing menggunakan metode Region Approach. Metode Region Approach adalah salah satu metode line balancing yang menggunakan teknik pengurutan waktu operasi kerja berdasarkan pendekatan wilayah. Hasil penelitian dengan metode Region Approach menunjukkan efisiensi lintasan mengalami peningkatan dari 76,03 % menjadi 95,14 %, balance delay mengalami penurunan dari 23,97 % menjadi 4,86 %, smoothness index mengalami penurunan dari 19,54 % menjadi 3,59 %, total waktu menganggur mengalami penurunan dari 38,03 menit menjadi 5,34 menit, jumlah stasiun kerja berkurang dari 7 stasiun kerja menjadi 5 stasiun kerja, dan kapasitas produksi perhari mengalami peningkatan dari 22 unit perhari menjadi 25 unit perhari.

Abstract

Intisari— Kelancaran proses produksi merupakan prioritas utama bagi setiap perusahaan. Ada beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kelancaran proses salah satunya ialah kinerja pada mesin. Pada pabrik Phosporic Acid selama periode Januari - Agustus 2021 terdapat 3 mesin yang memiliki breakdown tertinggi (dominan)yaitu mesin 1st Filter (Fil-2321), 1st Vacuum Pump (C-2323), dan Digester (R-2302 B), dengan waktu breakdown secara berurutan yaitu 2721,6 menit, 3427,2 menit, dan 4896 menit dengan total waktu breakdown 11044,8 menit atau 16.36% dari total waktu breakdown keseluruhan Tujuan diadakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai keefektifan mesin menggunakan metode OEE serta mengetahui faktor penyebab losses menggunakan metode FMEA. Dari hasil perhitungan didapatkan nilai OEE untuk mesin 1st Filter sebesar 80,86%, mesin 1st Vacuum Pump sebesar 80,43%, dan untuk mesin Digester sebesar 80,0058% dengan standard JIPM 85%. Dikarenakan hasil tersebut dibawah standard maka dilanjutkan dengan perhitungan six big losses dan didapatkan delay tertinggi yang mempengaruhi rendahnya nilai OEE ialah pada idle and minor stoppages losses. Dari hasil delay tersebut dilakukan analisis FMEA dan yang menjadi prioritas permasalahan pada mesin 1st Filter ialah roll coaster rusak dan came overtrack dengan nilai RPN 216, sedagkan untuk mesin 1st Vacuum Pump ialah motor fault dengan nilai RPN 216, dan untuk mesin Digester ialah material bersifat asam pekat dengan nilai RPN 210. Abstract— Smooth production process is a top priority for every company. There are several factors that affect the smoothness of the process, one of which is the performance of the machine. At the Phosphoric Acid factory during the period January - August 2021, there are 3 machines that have the highest breakdown (dominant) namely the 1st Filter (Fil-2321) engine, 1st Vacuum Pump (C-2323), and Digester (R-2302 B), with a time breakdown sequentially, namely 2721.6 minutes, 3427.2 minutes, and 4896 minutes with a total breakdown time of 11044.8 minutes or 16.36% of the total breakdown time. losses using the FMEA method. From the calculation results, the OEE value for the 1st Filter machine is 80.86%, the 1st Vacuum Pump machine is 80.43%, and for the Digester machine it is 80.0058% with 85% JIPM standard. Because the results are below the standard, it is continued with the calculation of six big losses and the highest delay that affects the low OEE value is the idle and minor stoppages losses. From the results of the delay, an FMEA analysis was carried out and the priority problems on the 1st Filter machine were a broken roll coaster and came overtrack with an RPN value of 216, while for the 1st Vacuum Pump machine a fault motor with an RPN value of 216, and for the Digester machine, acidic materials. concentrated with RPN value of 210.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the pump failure factors, determine alternative pump maintenance intervals as an alternative maintenance policy, and minimize maintenance costs using the cost calculation method (LCC).  In this study, observations and interviews were carried out to obtain data related to the centrifugal pump machine. From the LCC (Life Cycle Cost) calculation above, it can be seen based on table 4.20, it is found that the smallest cost value is in year (n) = 5 with the number of mechanics (M) = 3 with the result of calculating a total cost of Rp. 1,515,507,735. So, it can be concluded that TC2 < TC1 with these results, the proposed method in this study is accepted. The maintenance interval for each centrifugal pump component is for the Impeller of 1,673 hours by selecting the Discard task, Shaft of 698 hours by selecting the scheduled restoration task, Bearing by 322 hours by selecting the scheduled restoration task, Coupling by 698 hours by selecting the scheduled restoration task, Mechanical seal for 2,131 hours with the selection of the scheduled discard task. The results of the calculation of the total cost of Rp. 1,515,507,735 as TC2 with a total company cost of IDR 1,600,000,000. So, it can be concluded that TC2 < TC1.

Abstract

The smooth production process in the company is influenced by several factors, one of which is the machine. Machine maintenance is something that needs to be done by the company because it has an important role in the smooth production process. PT XYZ is a company engaged in the manufacture of fertilizers and chemicals. Phosphoric Acid Plant, production department III A, PT XYZ, in its production process, has 193 machines that are used to process phosphate rock. Based on a survey related to problems that often occur at the Phosphoric Acid Plant, it can be seen that three machines have the highest breakdown time, namely 1st Filter (Fil-2321), 1st Vacuum Pump (C-2323), and Digester (R-2302 B). From these problems, machine maintenance analysis was carried out using Total Productive Maintenance with Overall Equipment Effectiveness and Failure Mode Effect and Analysis methods.

Abstract

The availability of electrical energy is an important issue. Along with the growth of the human population, electrical energy also increases. This study addresses problems in the operation of the electric power system. One of the problems that occur is the power imbalance due to scale growth between demand and generation. Alternative countermeasures that can be done are to prepare for the possibility that will occur in the future or what we are familiar with forecasting. Forecasting using the multiple linear regression method with this research variable assumes the household sector, business, industry, and public sectors, and is considered by the influence of population, gross regional domestic product, and District Minimum Wage. In forecasting, it is necessary to evaluate the accuracy using mean absolute percentage error (MAPE). MAPE evaluation results show a value of 0.142 % in the household sector, 0.085 % in the business sector, 1.983 % in the industrial sector, and 0.131 % in the total customer sector.
