Abstract

Coral reef ecosystem is one of the ecosystems located in coastal areas which has a very important role for the community, both economically and ecologically. Rock or scleractinian corals are the main building blocks of coral reef ecosystems. The connectivity of coral reef ecosystems with other ecosystems has a very large influence on the life cycle of reef fish such as spawning, rearing, foraging, and sheltering places. Herbivorous fish are that eat turf algae or macroalgae that inhibit the recruitment of new corals. Labuan Bajo is one of the tourism destinations in Indonesia, especially marine tourism. Coral reefs in Labuan Bajo cover 10.8% of the total area of coral reefs in Indonesia located in Nusa Tenggara. The purpose of this study was to determine the health of coral reefs in the waters of Labuan Bajo. This research will be carried out from September to October 2021. The coral reef data collection method used is the Underwater Photo Transect (UPT), and for reef fish is using the Underwater Visual Census (UVC) method. Based on the research results, the percentage of hard coral is 20.16% of the total stations and rubble is 32.24%. The abundance of fish in Labuan Bajo waters ranges from 1608.89 - 4600.00 ind/ha, where the average abundance is 2919.78 ind/ha. All stations got a health index value of 3, this is indicated by the low coral cover, high coral resilience, and low herbivorous fish biomass obtained.

Abstract

The mangrove ecosystem lives along the coast and influenced by tidally process. The mangrove ecosystem has many functions and associated with different types of biota, one of them is macrozoobenthos. Macrozoobenthos is organism that live at the bottom of the substrate. This study aims to determine the community structure of macrozoobenthos and the influence of physic-chemical sediments parameters (temperature, salinity, pH nitrates and phosphates) of the abudance of macrozoobenthos in the Using Zone Taman Hutan Raya (Tahura) Ngurah Rai, Pemogan Village, Denpasar. Data analysis using by Bray Curtis index to see the similarity between the stations and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to see the parameters that influence the abundance of macrozoobenthos. Result showed that the diversity index of macrozoobenthos is low - medium, Eveness index is low - high and Dominance index is medium-high. The highest similarity is between station 3 and 4, while station 1 has no similarity with other. PCA analysis showed that abundance of macrozoobenthos was influenced by temperature, salinity, nitrate, and phosphate.

Abstract

Teluk Pegametan yang terletak di Kecamatan Gerokgak Kabupaten Buleleng, Bali tercatat memiliki potensi yang besar untuk pengembangan budidaya laut ikan kerapu. Penentuan lokasi budidaya merupakan faktor penentu keberhasilan budidaya ikan kerapu dengan sistem keramba jaring apung (KJA). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian lahan budidaya KJA ikan kerapu di perairan Teluk Pegametan, Kabupaten Buleleng, Bali. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) berdasarkan matriks kesesuaian kualitas perairan. Parameter kualitas air yang diukur meliputi kedalaman, kecerahan, suhu, salinitas, pH, oksigen terlarut, nitrat, ammonia, dan fosfat dengan pengukuran yang dilakukan di 11 stasiun penelitian. Tingkat kesesuaian lahan dibagi ke dalam 2 (dua) kelas kesesuaian, yaitu sangat sesuai (S1) dan cukup sesuai (S2). Hasil yang didapatkan menunjukkan bahwa kelas sangat sesuai (S1) sebesar 106,31 ha (24,90 %), dan kelas cukup sesuai (S2) sebesar 356,29 ha (73,51 %) dari total keseluruhan luas lahan potensial untuk budidaya ikan kerapu seluas 426,60 ha.

Abstract

Mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI) diarahkan menjadi seorang guru MI yang berkompeten, namun faktanya tak semua mahasiswa berminat menjadi guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis minat mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah terhadap profesi guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa program studi PGMI UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya angkatan 2019 dan 2020 berjumlah 138 orang. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data penelitian yaitu melalui penyebaran angket dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 45 orang atau 33% masuk kategori sangat berminat, 86 orang atau 62% masuk kategori berminat, 6 orang atau 4% masuk kategori cukup berminat, dan 1 orang atau 1% masuk kategori tidak berminat, data pendukung berasal dari indeks prestasi kumulatif yang bagus dan dominasi nilai A+ pada mata kuliah microteaching. Dari hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya dominan yang berminat dengan profesi guru.

Abstract

Teknik mind mapping merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran inovatif yang dapat mengembangkan ide-ide secara kreatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mind mapping untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks deskriptif pada peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Negeri 1 Glenmore. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini Classroom Action Research (CAR) atau penelitian tindakan kelas dengan melaksanakan 2 siklus yang setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 2 kali pertemuan. Dari hasil penelitian, peneliti menemukan bahwa teknik mind mapping dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks deskriptif peserta didik. Melalui nilai rata-rata peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diajar menggunakan teknik mind mapping menunjukkan bahwa sebelum tindakan (58,81), tindakan siklus I (67,40), dan tindakan siklus II (71,14). Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pada keterampilan menulis teks deskriptif peserta didik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris dengan penerapan teknik mind mapping untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks deskriptif memiliki dampak signifikan pada hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Negeri 1 Glenmore.

Abstract

This Research has been carried out in the absense of the value of Islamic religion to student at learning Islamic history in the school. The generation of Muslim civilization is a Muslim youth who will succeed the nation which will be passed down from generation to generation and will continue the struggle of the previous fighters in realizing the desired nation's hopes. The existence of history, becomes a reminder of the services of the martyrs' struggle for martyrs' who died on the battlefield in defending Muslims and fighting for the religion of Islam with the intention of lillahi ta'ala and solely for the sake of Allah SWT. Notes and memories are collected in a sheet that becomes a guide for students in studying the cultural histories of earlier Muslims. Islamic students are required to be the next generation of Muslim civilization. Islamic students are a milestone in the generation of national civilization which will later advance the development of the Islamic religion, especially in the current millennial era which is increasingly sophisticated and technology is very fast so that there are many understandings that exist outside of Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the challenges faced by vocational EFL (English as A Foreign Language) students during English oral presentations in class. A total of 30 students were selected as the sample through purposive sampling technique. Data were collected based on observation, questionnaires, and semi-structured interviews. The results showed that the most significant challenge faced by the students in class was anxiety during the question and answer session in the presentation activity. Technical difficulties during presentations were also a recurring problem. In addition, students also considered speaking and pronunciation as the most difficult aspects of their presentations. The results of this study provide knowledge that can also be a reference in overcoming anxiety, technical obstacles, and efforts to improve students' English skills, especially in the aspect of speaking as the main provision in classroom presentations.

Abstract

Social emotional development is a competency that every child must have in order to be able to adapt to their environment, both socially, namely the child is able to interact and communicate with the family, school and community environment, and emotionally, namely the child is able to express and express what he feels within himself. This research aims to describe the role of parents in the social emotional development of children in Bungah village. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with the research subjects being four children's parents. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This research uses data validity tests in the form of triangulation and extended observations. The results of the research show that the role of parents in the social emotional development of children is that parents act as educators, parents act as mentors, parents act as supervisors, parents act as facilitators and parents act as friends.

Abstract

A good learning process is a driving factor for success in education. In the learning process students are required to be active so that learning is effective and interactive, but basically teachers are still focused on worksheet books and do not involve students and teachers do not use learning media, so that student learning outcomes are less than optimal. This research aims to determine the influence of media images of Pancasila symbols in improving PPKn learning outcomes for students at SDN Siwalan. This research uses a quantitative Pre-Experimental Design approach with the One Group Pretest Posttest type. The sample used was 27 grade 1 students at Siwalan Elementary School. The results of research that have been tested for normality in the pretest and posttest are normally distributed. Judging from the pretest results, the SPSS output has a value of 0.093 > α (0.05), which means the data is normally distributed. From the SPSS output posttest results in the sig column. which has a value of 0.090 > α (0.05) which means the data is normal. From the results of the paired sample t test, sig results were obtained. (2-tailed) 0.000. If sign. (2-tailed) 0.000 < α (0.05) then Ha is accepted which means that there is an influence of the media of pictures of Pancasila symbols in improving the PPKn learning outcomes of class 1 students at SDN Siwalan and in the Normalized Gain test based on what has been done it is calculated using SPSS 26, the integration results are high.

Abstract

The use of repellents as anti-mosquito is currently feared to contain a lot of chemicals so it needs innovation to anticipate them. This study aims to make soybean oil as an innovation in making lotions and to know the manufacturing process. The method of extracting soybean oil is pressing using a Hydraullic Press. Soybean oil extraction based on 9 variables changes namely preheat temperature 100°C; 120°C; 140°C and pressure of Hydraullic Press 1800 psi; 2000 psi; 2200 psi as the test material, the best results were obtained at variable 5 with a variable 120°C and 2000 psi obtained the results of a density of 0,929 gr / ml, viscosity of 28,07 cP and a yield of 3,1%. Making lotion using variable 10 gr of the best soybean oil, Glycerin 20 gr, cetyl alcohol 4 gr, CMC 3 gr, Arabian Gom 0,5 gr and aquadest 10 ml, obtained the results of pH 6 and density 1,0428 gr/ml.
