Abstract

Integrasi Teknologi Informasi (TI) dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris menjadi salah satu inovasi yang dihadirkan sebagai cara untuk mengikuti perkembangan zaman dan arus media serta informasi. Hal ini memberikan tuntutan besar kepada para pengajar Bahasa Inggris untuk bisa menangkap peluang besar ini, yang sekaligus bisa menjadi tantangan di sisi lain. Salah satu aspek pentingnya adalah manajemen kelas Bahasa Inggris berbantuan TI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Manajemen manajemen kelas yang diaplikasikan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris berbantuan TI. Penelitian akan dilakukan di beberapa Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kabupaten Majene. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan model penelitian deskriptif yaitu mencari gambaran tentang bagaimana manajemen kelas yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam pembelajaran bahasa inggris berbantuan Teknologi Informasi (TI) dengan sumber data yang diperoleh melalui observasi, interview, studi dokumen. Data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis isi untuk hasil observasi dan interview. Target penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan pola manajemen kelas yang digunakan oleh guru beserta persepsi siswa untuk bisa dilakukakan analisis lebih jauh. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kelas yang diaplikasikan oleh guru Bahasa Inggris pada kelas berbantuan komputer di Kabupaten Majene meliputi; a) Manajemen kondisi fisik kelas, b) Manajemen tingkah laku siswa dan c) manajemen komunikasi dan interaksi guru-siswa/siswa-siswa, dan (d) Manajemen Waktu

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of organizational communication on the effective work climate in the Starpaction section of PT Sunstar Engineering Indonesia by formulating a problem on how much influence organizational communication has in supporting an effective work climate in the Starpactions section of PT Sunstar Engineering Indonesia. The limitation in this study is on the working climate in the startpaction section only, not in the whole section. The data collection method uses questionnaire distribution. The population in this study is employees of the Starpaction section, permanent employees, and fixed-time employees of the work agreement. The sampling technique used was a total sampling with a sample of 30 respondents. The data analysis methods used are validity test, reliability test, normality test, linearity test, simple linear regression analysis, and partial significance test (T-test), and Determination Coefficient Test (R-test) using the SPSS 26 application of 2024. The results of the t-test obtained a t-count value of 10,244 while the t-table was 1,701, thus, it can be concluded that t-count > t-table (10,244 > 1,701) From the results of the t-test, a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05 was also obtained so that it can be concluded that organizational communication has a positive and significant effect on the effective work climate in the Starpaction section of PT Sunstar Engineering Indonesia

Abstract

Smoking behavior, especially in adolescents or students, needs to be treated to reduce smoking behavior. In this situation, one way that can be done is with the help of a selfmanagement strategy. Self-management serves to manage themselves or regulate the behavior of the students themselves. This study aims to develop a learning media in the form of a self management module that is suitable for use byeducators as teaching materials. The approach used in this research is mixed methods. The type of research used in this research is research and development method. The subjects in this study were material experts and media experts. The data collection tool usedis a validation sheet to obtain an assessment from the validator. Product validation to two material experts which resulted in a conclusion with a feasible category and from a media expert to produce findings in a very feasible category.

Abstract

Background: Proportion is a key mathematical concept, but epistemological and didactical learning obstacles can hinder students' understanding. These challenges arise from limited contextual knowledge and procedural teaching methods. Identifying these obstacles through diagnostic assessments helps design effective learning strategies, enhancing students' proportional reasoning and problem-solving skills. Aim: This research aims to describe and analyze students' learning obstacles in Proportion material in terms of Proportional reasoning.. Method: The method used in this case is a research method qualitative focuses on obstacles to learning. Instruments used in studying learning obstacles designed based on the Proportional level of reasoning. The subject of this research comes from Al-Fahmi Palu Junior High School which consists of class VII, Data collection was carried out through written tests, interviews and observations. Result: The results of the research show revealing two main types: epistemological and didactical obstacles. Epistemological obstacles arise due to students' limited contextual knowledge, preventing them from applying known concepts to new problems, as seen in their difficulty modeling proportional relationships correctly. Didactical obstacles stem from procedural teaching methods that emphasize memorization over conceptual understanding, leading students to rely on fixed procedures rather than flexible problem-solving strategies. These findings highlight the need for varied and meaningful learning approaches to help students build a deeper understanding of Proportion concepts. Conclusion: The research found two types of student learning obstacles in solving Proportion problems: epistemological obstacles, due to limited contextual knowledge, and didactical obstacles, arising from teachers' procedural teaching methods and lack of varied practice, leading to difficulties in handling complex proportional reasoning.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan literasi digital berbasis budaya lokal bagi anak-anak pesisir Mandar melalui kemitraan dengan Rumah Baca Harapan (RubaH) Sahabat Pulau. Latar belakang kegiatan ini berangkat dari masih rendahnya keterampilan literasi digital anak-anak pesisir serta keterbatasan relawan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk pembelajaran. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 24 Agustus 2025 di SDN 32 Barane, Kabupaten Polewali Mandar, Sulawesi Barat dengan peserta sebanyak 16 relawan RubaH. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi survei kebutuhan, pelatihan literasi digital dasar, penyusunan konten digital berbasis budaya Mandar, diskusi partisipatif, serta evaluasi tindak lanjut. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman relawan tentang penggunaan perangkat digital, etika bermedia, dan integrasi budaya lokal dalam konten pembelajaran. Selain itu, seluruh responden memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap relevansi materi, metode penyampaian, dan kebermanfaatan kegiatan. Program ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan kapasitas relawan sebagai agen literasi digital sekaligus memperkuat peran rumah baca sebagai pusat pembelajaran alternatif. Dengan demikian, pengabdian ini berkontribusi pada terciptanya model literasi digital berbasis budaya lokal yang kontekstual, relevan, dan berkelanjutan bagi pengembangan literasi anak-anak pesisir Mandar.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) provides solutions and innovations regarding the Application of Dryer Equipment to Increase the Production of Awaina Terasi Business in Langsa City, Aceh. The activity was carried out with the target of this program being the Gampong Light Terasi Business group, one of which was the Awaina Terasi Business and community groups. The main problem faced by partners is the absence of an effective, practical, and inexpensive dryer for shrimp paste during the rainy season so that production is stopped. Activities carried out for partners during service are making and training in the use of dryers for shrimp paste. The results of this activity increase the knowledge of partners and local community groups which are the Gampong Light Terasi Business group in making shrimp paste dryers that are portable, low production costs, and easy to maintain. The shrimp paste dryer will increase the production of community entrepreneurs.

Abstract

The election of the village head often caused prolonged conflicts, resulting in the tenuation of the family cord. This study aims to determine the impact of the village head election on the family system in Lera Village, Wotu District, East Luwu Regency. This research is a qualitative research, with a sociological and syar'i approach. The village head election system that was carried out directly in Lera Village resulted in the tenuous family relationships that had been well established, and even disappointment between supporters sometimes ended in acts of violence. Although some can be resolved in a familial manner, there are also those that must end up in court, and these conditions pose a threat to the continuity of the democratization system at the level of village government. The basic principle of government administration in the concept of siyasah syar'iyyah is the realization of benefits, so that the election of village heads as a process or mechanism for choosing leaders should not cause impacts that can damage the family relationship that has been a characteristic of rural communities.

Abstract

This study explores the English-speaking challenges and coping strategies of introverted learners in an Indonesian senior high school EFL context. Using a qualitative descriptive design, ten eleventh-grade students at SMAN 1 Wonomulyo were purposively selected based on a personality assessment identifying them as introverted. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, a speaking test, and questionnaires. The findings reveal that introverted students commonly face difficulties in speaking tasks due to fear of judgment, discomfort in group settings, hesitation in expressing ideas, and slow verbal processing. These psychological and linguistic barriers significantly affect their classroom participation and oral performance. However, the students also demonstrated adaptive strategies such as memorizing prepared texts, managing their preparation time effectively, and responding positively to motivational support from teachers and peers. Additionally, they expressed a preference for game-based and relaxed learning environments that reduce performance pressure. The study highlights the need for inclusive and responsive language teaching practices that cater to diverse learner personalities. It contributes to the growing understanding of how personality traits influence language learning and provides practical implications for fostering speaking confidence among introverted learners in EFL classrooms.

Abstract

Penelitian identifikasi aliran fluida panas telah dilakukan di daerah manifestasi panas bumi Paya Meuligoe. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pola aliran fluida panas di Desa Paya Meuligoe, Aceh Timur. Pengambilan data pengukuran Self-Potential menggunakan konfigurasi fixed base dengan jarak interval elektroda 1 meter. Data didapatkan diolah menggunakan Microsoft Excel untuk mencari data potensial terkoreksi dan Software Surfer untuk memperoleh peta kontur isopotensial. Hasil penelitian metode SP didapatkan berupa data potensial di kawasan penelitian dengan intensitas nilai diperoleh adalah 12 mV, nilai terendah adalah -30 mV. Dari nilai sebaran potensial tersebut dapat dikatakan arah aliran fluida panas di daerah Paya Meuligoe mengarah dari selatan menuju utara.

Abstract

Pondok Kelapa merupakan salah satu desa di Kecamatan Langsa Baro Kota Langsa, Provinsi Aceh. Hampir semua warga di desa tersebut memiliki kebun kelapa. Mayoritas pekerjaan ibu-ibu PKK berprofesi sebagai ibu rumah tangga. Di sisi lain, di pasar Kota Langsa terdapat banyak para pedagang kelapa parut, namun limbah air kelapa yang dihasilkan dibuang begitu saja tanpa pengolahan sehingga menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan. Pencemaran tersebut sangat mengganggu estetika lingkungan yang menebarkan bau busuk, hal tersebut juga sangat berbahaya bagi kesehatan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, tim pelaksana PKM Universitas Samudra memberikan pelatihan pengolahan limbah air kelapa menjadi nata de coco. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat desa Pondok Kelapa, yaitu meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang menjaga lingkungan yang bersih, meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat tentang pengolahan limbah air kelapa menjadi produk pangan, dan meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat dengan menciptakan produk pangan yang bernilai komersial. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu survey lapangan, sosialisasi kegiatan, pelatihan, dan pendampingan untuk memonitoring dan mengevaluasi perkembangan hasil kegiatan untuk keberlanjutan program PKM di desa Pondok Kelapa. Kegiatan ini melibatkan masyarakat desa khususnya para ibu rumah tangga atau ibu PKK. Pembuatan nata de coco menghasilkan lembaran nata berwarna putih dengan ketebalan 2 cm dan rasa yang segar. Hampir tidak ada air kelapa yang tersisa, semuanya sudah diubah menjadi selulosa oleh bakteri A. xylinum. Melalui kegiatan pengolahan limbah air kelapa ini, diharapkan dapat meyelamatkan lingkungan yang tercemar di Kota Langsa dan produk yang dihasilkan juga dapat dikonsumsi sehari-hari serta dipasarkan sehingga dapat membantu meningkatkan perekenomian masyarakat desa Pondok Kelapa.
