Abstract

Masa pandemi Covid-19 meningkatkan resiko tertular bagi tenaga medis di semua fasilitas kesehatan yang ada. Untuk mengurangi resiko penularan, maka dibuatlah protokol kesehatan, salah satu protokol yang diterapkan pada tenaga medis yang melayani masyarakat adalah penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD). Peningkatan penggunaan APD di fasilitas kesehatan menimbulkan persoalan tersendiri, yaitu semakin banyaknya limbah medis yang harus dikelola/dimusnahkan. Di lain pihak, pengelolaan limbah medis tidak bisa sembarangan karena tergolong limbah B3, harus mengikuti prosedur tertentu agar tidak ada resiko limbah medis tersebut kepada kesehatan masyarakat. Pengelolaan limbah medis juga memerlukan biaya untuk pengolahan dan pelayanannya. Usulan solusi yang ditawarkan adalah Teknologi Tepat Guna (TTG) berupa alat pengolah limbah medis dengan sistem pemusnahan/pembakaran, yaitu insinerator. Insinerator yang digunakan berbahan bakar biomassa arang dan kayu limbah. Abu sisa hasil pembakaran dapat dijadikan pencampur semen atau ditimbun di tempat pembuangan. Untuk mengetahui efektifitas dari alat, maka dilakukan pengujian pengukuran temperatur ruang bakar. Tahapan yang dilalui dalam pelaksanaan program ini adalah identifikasi kebutuhan mitra, perancangan, pembuatan, uji operasi, pendampingan operasional, dan penerapan TTG kepada mitra. Hasil dari pegujian insinerator didapatkan bahwa temperatur ruang bakar berkisar antara 350-450°C. Insinerator dapat digunakan untuk membakar limbah medis kering seperti APD, limbah medis plastik, sarung tangan karet, dan sejenisnya. Limbah medis basah seperti popok dan benda penyerap cairan lainnya, setelah pengujian, tidak terbakar habis sepenuhnya.

Abstract

Every day there are 830 women die from preventable causes related to pregnancy and childbirth. The preliminary study found 21 pregnant women with complications, there were 10 pregnant women who did not know how to overcome pregnancy complications and there were 11 pregnant women who did not understand what to do in the event of an obstetric emergency, even though it was all in the MCH book they had. The purpose of the study was to determine the use of maternal and child health books (MCH) by pregnant women in an effort to prevent pregnancy complications at the Murung Pudak Health Center in 2022. This research method is with descriptive-analytical methods. The design or design used in this study is a cross-sectional study research design. The results of the research in the category of Maternal Knowledge About the Utilization of MCH Books were obtained from 37 respondents, 34 respondents (91.9%) with the Good Category, 3 respondents (8.1%) with the Sufficient Category while the less category did not exist in terms of knowledge of the use of MCH books in efforts to prevent pregnancy complications.

Abstract

Pendahuluan. Daun Suruhan (Peperomia pellucida L. Kunth) merupakan tumbuhan yang banyak tumbuh di Asia Tenggara. Secara empiris suruhan digunakan untuk pengobatan mengatasi radang dan mengobati demam. Tumbuhan suruhan mempunyai potensi sebagai senyawa antikanker, antimikroba, dan antioksidan. Kemampuan tanaman suruhan sebagai tanaman obat diduga berkaitan erat dengan senyawa flavonoid. Selain jenis pelarut perbedaan konsentrasi juga mempengaruhi hasil ekstraksi. Tujuan. Mengetahui kadar flavonoid total dari daun suruhan berdasarkan perbedaan konsentrasi pelarut etanol 70% dan 96%. Metode. Penelitian  ini  menggunakan  analisis  data  secara  deskriptif  dengan prosedur penelitian  dilakukan metode ekstraksi maserasi  lalu dilakukan penentuan kadar flavonoid dengan pembanding kuersetin menggunakan Spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Hasil. Kadar flavonoid total untuk ekstrak etanol 70% dan ekstrak etanol 96% daun suruhan masing-masing adalah  4,139 mg QE/g dan 2,976 mg QE/g. Simpulan. Kadar flavonoid dalam penelitian ini yang terdapat dalam ekstrak etanol 70% daun suruhan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan etanol 96%.

Abstract

Abstrak Latar Belakang: Discharge planning adalah salah satu aspek penting yang berdampak pada kualitas pelayanan di rumah sakit. Penerapan Patient Centered Care memberikan perasaan keramahan, kepedulian, dan keamanan kepada pasien dapat menurunkan resiko terjadinya insiden pasien. Tujuan adalah menganalisis tingkat kepuasan pasien dimensi tangible, reliability, assurance, responsiveness dan emphaty dalam pemberian Discharge Planning yang menggunakan prinsip PCC di Rumah Sakit Sari Mulia Banjarmasin.Metode: Penelitian dengan metode cross sectional. Dilaksanakan di Rumah Sakit Sari Mulia Banjarmasin. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 pasien rawat inap. Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat.Hasil: Analisis diagram Kartesius didapatkan hasil berupa kuadran 1 dan 2 terisi oleh aspek Tangible, assurance dan responsiveness. Kuadran 3 terisi oleh aspek Tangible, responsiveness dan empathy. Sedangkan Kuadran 4 terisi oleh aspek reliability merupakan aspek yang dirasa pasien kurang penting untuk saat ini dan pelaksanaannya sudah melebihi dari apa yang pasien harapkan.Simpulan: Berdasarkan karakteristik tiap kuadran maka peningkatan aspek berdasarkan tingkat urgensinya adalah aspek pada kuadran 3, dilanjutkan oleh aspek pada kuadran 1, lalu kuadran 2 dan terakhir aspek pada kuadran 4. Kata Kunci: Discharge planning, Kepuasan, Patient Centered Care Background: Discharge planning is one of the important aspects that have an impact on the quality of service in hospitals. The application of Patient Centered Care provides a feeling of friendliness, concern, and security to patients and can reduce the risk of patient incidents. The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of patient satisfaction with tangible, reliability, assurance, responsiveness and empathy in providing discharge planning using PCC principles at Sari Mulia Hospital, Banjarmasin.Methods : This study used a cross sectional method. Held at Sari Mulia Hospital, Banjarmasin. The number of samples was 30 inpatients. Data analysis used univariate analysis.Results.: Analysis of the Cartesian diagram obtained results in the form of quadrants 1 and 2 filled with Tangible, assurance and responsiveness aspects. Quadrant 3 is filled with Tangible, responsiveness and empathy aspects. While Quadrant 4 is filled with reliability aspects, which are aspects that the patient feels are less important at this time and the implementation has exceeded what the patient expected.Conclusion: Based on the characteristics of each quadrant, the improvement of aspects based on the level of urgency is aspects in quadrant 3, followed by aspects in quadrant 1, then quadrant 2 and finally aspects in quadrant 4. Keywords: Discharge planning, Satisfaction, Patient Centered Care

Abstract

The development of animation is growing rapidly every year, the use of animation which currently covers all fields, ranging from the world of entertainment to the world of business. The purpose of designing this Animation Gallery is to further introduce animation to the public. Animation Gallery will be designed using analogy methods and themed Hi-Tech Architecture. Animation is analogous to an architectural design by borrowing the principle of movement in the animation itself, namely how the stages of an object moving in an animation. Generally, movement in animation works with 2 elements, namely keyframe and in-between. If in architecture the keyframe is compared as a space and in-between as a circulation.

Abstract

Rumah Banjar tipe bubungan tinggi merupakan salah satu model rumah tradisional di Kalimanan Selatan, yang mempunyai bentuk atap yang curam dan tinggi. Untuk melestarikan tipe rumah tradisional ini, maka bangunan-bangunan modern dibangun mengikuti tipe bubungan tinggi. Tipe rumah bubungan tinggi mempunyai kekayaan lokal yang perlu diteliti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mensimulasikan udara di sekitar rumah tradisional Banjar tipe bubungan tinggi, sebagai akibat dari angin di sekitar bangunan tersebut. Simulasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Simflow. Model rumah banjar berukuran panjang 37 m, dan tinggi 16 m. Arah angin divariasikan dari arah depan dan belakang dengan kecepatan aliran 5 m/s. Parameter yang diamati adalah profil tekanan dan kecepatan udara di sekitar bangunan secara horizontal dan vertikal. Dari simulasi yang dilakukan, didapatkan bahwa angin dari arah depan lebih berpengaruh pada parameter udara di sekitar rumah bubungan tinggi. Posisi konsentrasi kecepatan udara berada di bagian bawah atap bubungan tinggi. Hasil simulasi dapat digunakan sebagai pertimbangan dalam memposisikan ventilasi udara pada bangunan. The high ridge type Banjar house is one of the traditional house models in South Kalimantan, which has a steep and high roof shape. To preserve this type of traditional house, modern buildings are built following the type of high ridge. The type of high ridge house has local wealth that needs to be researched. This study aims to simulate the air around a traditional high-ridge type Banjar house, as a result of the wind around the building. The simulation was performed using Simflow software. The banjar house model measures 37 m long, and 16 m high. The wind direction is varied from the front and rear directions with a flow speed of 5 m/s. The parameters observed are the profile of pressure and airspeed around the building horizontally and vertically. From the simulations carried out, it was found that the wind from the front had more influence on the air parameters around the high ridge house. The position of the airspeed concentration is at the bottom of the roof of the high ridge. The simulation results can be used as a consideration in positioning the air vents in the building.

Abstract

The Banjar tribe in South Kalimantan has a traditional Bubungan Tinggi house, which is intended for nobles. This house is made of wood, in the form of a stilt with one roof angled upwards. This paper examines the solar geometry factor on the high ridge house, which is found on the pointed roof having a small geometric factor, so that the solar energy absorbed on the taper roof is small. This proves the local wisdom of the community in getting thermal comfort in their homes.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Masa pemulihan organ-organ reproduksi wanita yang mengalami perubahan selama kehamilan dan persalinan. Robekan pada perineum sering terjadi pada semua persalinan pertama. Hal ini mengakibatkan diperlukan perawatan yang intensif untuk mempercepat proses penyembuhan dan mencegah komplikasi infeksi yang dapat diakibatkan karena keterlambatan.Tujuan: Mengetahui perbedaan efektivitas antara penggunaan air rebusan umbi bawang dayak dengan air rebusan daun sirih hijau terhadap penyembuhan luka perineum pada ibu nifasMetode:  Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Desain quasi experimental dengan menggunakan model nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian adalah 30 responden ibu nifas. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi skala REEDA. Uji bivariat menggunakan mann whitney.Hasil: Berdasarkan analisis data bivariat didapatkan bahwa nilai p-value sebesar 0,045 yang bermakna kurang dari 0,05 sehingga hasil penelitian ini adalah adanya perbedaan perbedaan efektifitas air rebusan umbi bawang dayak dengan daun sirih hijau terhadap penyembuhan luka perineum.Kesimpulan: Bahwa alternatif lain yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu penyembuhan luka perineum pasca persalinan adalah menggunakan umbi bawang Dayak.Saran: Diharapkan dapat membantu ibu nifas dalam menggunakan obat herbal dalam merawat luka perineum. Bisa dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut tentang kombinasi air rebusan umbi bawang dayak yang digabungkan dengan daun sirih hijau. Kata Kunci : Air Rebusan, Daun Sirih Hijau, Penyembuhan Luka Perineum, Umbi Bawang Dayak ABSTRACT Background: The recovery period of female reproductive organs that undergo changes during pregnancy and childbirth. Tears in the perineum often occur in all first deliveries. This results in the need for intensive care to speed up the healing process and prevent infectious complications that can result from delays.Purpose:  To find out the difference in efficacy of Borneo Dayak onion decoction and green betel leaf decoction in promoting perineal wound healing in postpartum women.Methods:  The research method uses a quantitative approach. Quasi-experimental design using a nonequivalent control group design model. The research sample was 30 postpartum mothers. Data collection used the REEDA scale observation sheet. The bivariate test used Mann Whitney.Results: Based on the bivariate data analysis, it was found that the p-value was 0.045, which is less than 0.05, so the results of this study are that there are differences in the effectiveness of boiled water from Dayak onion bulbs and green betel leaves on healing perineal wounds.Conclusion: Another alternative that can be used to help heal perineal wounds after childbirth is to use Dayak onion bulbs.Suggestions; It is expected to help postpartum mothers in using herbal medicine to treat perineal wounds. Abstract

Peatland is a type of soil with a high organic content, typically more than 65 percent organic matter, high acidity, and low nutrient content. Vernonia cinerea, also known as Sawi Langit (Vernonia cinerea L.) in Indonesia, is one of the nutritious plants. The community uses this herb to treat fevers, wounds, discomfort, and ulcers. The secondary metabolite concentration of plants in peatlands is affected by nutrients such as carbon, nitrogen, and pH. Find out the secondary metabolite content of Sawi Langit leaf extract and the total flavonoid levels that grown on peatlands. The Rf value was estimated after the descriptive observational approach was obtained from the Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) profile of secondary metabolites with spray reagents, and the quantitative data was determined by UV-Vis spectrophotometry. Sawi Langit plants were found growing on peatlands with a pH of 3.77, N-total of 1.51%, and C-Organic of 4.16%. The best eluent for separating compounds is chloroform: methanol: water (2:5:3) for flavonoid compounds, ethyl acetate: methanol: water (16:1:2) for alkaloid compounds, chloroform: methanol (9:1) for steroid compounds, n-hexane: ethyl acetate (12:8) for terpenoid compounds, ethyl acetic: chloroform: acetic acid (15:5:2) for tannin compounds, and chloroform: ethanol: water (10:6:1) for saponin compounds. Sawi langit leaf extract has a total flavonoid concentration of 5.527 mgQE (Quersetin Equivalent)/g. Flavonoid, alkaloids, steroids, terpenoids, tannins, and saponins compounds were found in the TLC profile of Sawi Langit leaf extract, and the total flavonoid content of the leaf extract of Sawi Langit was 5.527 mgQE (Quersetin Equivalent)/g.

Abstract

Proficiency in English is an essential skill for physiotherapy students, given the extensive medical literature published in English and the necessity for effective communication with international patients. Therefore, the development of the "English for Physiotherapy" (EFP) module is crucial for enhancing the English language capabilities of physiotherapy students. This article presents a systematic review that evaluates the effectiveness of the EFP module in improving English proficiency among these students. The methodology involves a comprehensive review of relevant studies, which indicates that the EFP module significantly enhances English skills, particularly in understanding medical literature and interacting with patients. The review demonstrates that modules specifically designed around physiotherapy terminology are more effective than general English modules, as they improve both academic comprehension and professional communication skills. The findings of this study aim to advocate for the development of more specialized English language modules within physiotherapy programs to better prepare students for the global challenges they may encounter in their practice.
