Marriage due to premarital pregnancy become increasingly more common in Indonesia, although the behaviour is still deemed as inappropriate by the society and tend to be negatively stigmatized. This might affect the marriage satisfaction which could harm the overall quality of the marriage. The purpose of this study was to determine marital satisfaction on youth with premarital pregnancy. Participants in this study were nine young women who were married due to premarital pregnancy and residing in Kupang City. Data was collected using interviews and analysed with thematic analysis approach that revealed three main themes. The results showed that marital satisfaction varied in participants, in which six participants were more satisfied and enjoyed their current married life, while the other three participants were not satisfied due to dissatisfaction with aspects of equality of roles in household, parenting and sexual life. Implications from this results were discussed further in the article.

Stress occurs as a state under the pressure both physically and psychologically which blocks the individual’s and caused by the difference between what is expected to achieve and what is achieved. Individuals fail to achieve the goal because they cannot focus their attention directly and taking an action without awareness. The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of mindfulness on the stress of college students. This study hypothesizes that mindfulness has a negative effect on the stress of college students. The participants of this study were 400 college students of FKM Undana Kupang, aged 18-24 years old who were obtained by using simple random sampling. The analysis in this study used simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the value (sig) = 0.000 < 0.05 and the value of t count > the value of t table i.e. as the amount of 5,644 > 2.249, means that there is a negative effect of mindfulness on college student’s stress, the increasing influence of mindfulness, the decreasing stress on college students.

This study aims to determine the relationship between experiences as victims of bullying and the perception of adolescent body image. The hypothesis of this research is that there is a positive relationship between experiences as victims of bullying and the perception of negative body image in adolescents. Participants in this study involved 100 adolescents in Kupang City aged 15-23 years (79 girls and 21 boys) who experienced bullying in the past year. The study used a quantitative approach with a modified Forms of Bullying-Victimization scale and a modified Body Satisfaction scale. Hypothesis testing with the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique shows a correlation coefficient of 0.319* with a significance level of 0.0005 (p <0.01). The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between experiences as victims of bullying and perception of body image. This study concluded that the higher the level of bullying experienced by the victim, the higher the negative body image perception was.

Abstract: Subjective well-being is an important thing in one's life. Various ways are done by someone to feel welfare in his life. The position of the child in the order of birth is a condition that is determined at the time of conception, has a fundamental influence on its subsequent development. This is because parents generally have specific attitudes, treatments, and roles for their oldest child, middle child, and youngest child. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there are differences in the subjective welfare of Undana students based on birth order. The sampling technique used the Cochran formula with a standard error of 5%. So that the researchers managed to collect data as many as 433 students aged 18-24 years and have two or more siblings. The analysis in this study used an ANOVA significance value of 0.048 <0.05, so that H0 was rejected. If H0 is rejected, there is a significant difference in subjective welfare based on the birth order of students at the University of Nusa CendanaKupang.

Adolescence is a very important and critical part of an individual's development. This is because, in the stages of adolescent development, it is often marked by an identity crisis which causes an adolescent to be very vulnerable to conduct behavior that is not following prevailing norms and rules, such as deviant behavior. Adolescents who are found guilty according to the applicable law will be placed and fostered at the Special Development Institution for Children (LPKA) and referred to as Correctional Students (Andikpas). After serving a criminal period, adolescent ex-prisoner will come out and live again in society. However, this is not easy due to environmental resistance and the difficulty of carrying out social reintegration. On the other hand, this brings its lessons for adolescent ex-prisoners so that they can be grateful by seeing life more positively. This paper will discuss the different and unique overview of life gratitude of ex-prisoner adolescents. The discussion is hoped to be able to provide knowledge related to the gratitude of life and adolescent ex-prisoners.

This narrative review aims to discuss theories related to how nuns perceive meaning of their mission to serve children with special needs. Nun is a woman who offers herself and her life to God through the utterance of a promise/vows to carry out her mission through the ministry received from a tarekat / congregation in accordance with spirituality and the statutes of religious life. One of the nuns' missions is to serve children with special needs who have abnormalities or deviations from normal conditions in their growth and development, both psychologically, physically, socially, and emotionally, which hinder activities and interactions. Nuns serve children with special needs by seeking, nurturing, caring for, educating and living together, caring for, and meeting all the needs of children with special needs who are served as in the life of a family. Nuns interpret the duty of service to children with special needs in two complete dimensions, namely the vertical and horizontal dimensions. In addition, nuns interpret this service as a life calling from God so that it becomes a motivation for them to carry out their service duties and bring happiness.

Adolescence is a period of transition from childhood to adulthood that affected many aspects of development. Adolescent’s happiness remains one of the relevant topics to be researched. Plenty of factors can bring happiness to teenagers, similarly many factors can make adolescents experience unhappiness, one of which is being separated from their parents for a long time for reasons of working abroad or becoming a TKI (Indonesian Migrant Worker). This literature review discusses happiness on teenagers in general and on teenagers who have parents working as migrant workers. Evidence showed that adolescents with parents as migrant workers need support as they are threatened by negative factors that make them as one of the most vulnerable children in Indonesia.
