Abstract

This study aims to investigate the evaluation and development of curriculum in education management through a systematic literature review (SLR). The study also seeks to identify gaps in the academic literature and make essential contributions to filling those knowledge gaps. Data was collected through a literature search on Google Scholar for articles published in Scopus-indexed journals. After screening with inclusion and exclusion criteria, 21 relevant articles were analyzed using NVivo software. This analysis includes identifying trends, distribution, research contributions, and the methodology used in these studies. Research trends show an increased interest in curriculum evaluation and development in recent years, reflected in the increasing number of research articles. The distribution of research articles by publisher, journal, and country of origin demonstrates the diversity of publication sources and international contributions in the academic literature on curriculum management. The analysis also revealed the diversity of research methodologies, covering a wide range of quantitative and qualitative methods. In addition, the use of software for data analysis is also highlighted in this study, showing a trend in the use of technology in facilitating research analysis. This study concludes that curriculum evaluation and development in education management is a complex and crucial topic, requiring a multidimensional approach and cross-border cooperation to understand it profoundly and overcome existing challenges. The study identifies gaps in the academic literature and provides a basis for further research and practice in curriculum evaluation and development.

Abstract

The role of the principal in curriculum management is critical to ensure effective implementation and alignment with educational standards and objectives. This study aims to determine the role of principals in curriculum management based on a systematic review of the literature using NVivo software. This research uses the SLR method with an inductive approach, and the analysis is carried out using NVivo software. A literature review study using NVivo found that: 1) After screening with inclusion and exclusion criteria, the number of relevant articles was 21. The articles are spread across various journals, with the highest number being four articles in the journal "School Leadership and Management"; 2) Principals have diverse roles in curriculum management, with the terms leadership, principal, curriculum, transformation, management, and supervision being the main focus; 3) The role of the principal in curriculum management has intrinsic and extrinsic factors based on a literature review using NVivo software that shows the conclusion that the factors of the principal's role in curriculum management include leadership, decision making, and coordination. This research provides a deep understanding of the role of principals in curriculum management, which can be a foundation for the professional development of principals and the improvement of the education system. By understanding the role and factors that influence it, educational institutions can identify problems and find more effective solutions to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) berperan penting dalam mewujudkan program wajib belajar 9 tahun. Keberagaman latar belakang siswa di sekolah baik sosial, budaya, suku, maupun ekonomi menjadi suatu hal yang tidak dapat dihindari. Pendidikan multikultural dirasa sangat penting untuk pembentukan karakter kebangsaan siswa di Sekolah. Desain penelitian ini adalah menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan model penelitian kualitatif lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan tekhnik triangulasi. Analisis data terdiri dari tiga aktivitas yang berlangsung yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan multikultural dalam pembentukan karakter kebangsaan siswa SMP N 1 Pangkalan sudah dilaksanakan dengan maksimal melalui pendidikan agama islam dengan kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas dan diintegrasikan dengan kegiatan di luar kelas seperti shalat berjama’ah, kerja bakti, memasak bersama saat perayaan hari raya qurban, lomba menghias kelas, program pergantian pengurus kelas setiap tiga bulan sekali. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seperti kesenian, olahraga, dan pramuka.

Abstract

Divorce between a man and a woman, whether due to death, divorce, or a court decision, results in the application of the law of 'iddah (a waiting period) in Islam.  Compilation of Indonesian Islamic Law (KHI) Chapter VI Article 40 letter b concerning the Prohibition of Marriage, that it is prohibited to enter into a marriage if a woman is still in the 'iddah period with another man. This marriage prohibition applies to both men and women simultaneously.'Iddah is a stipulation of Allah's Shari'a for women who have broken up with their marital relationship to carry out the waiting not to get married at a certain time to hifdz an-nail that guarantees the honor of the child's lineage in the family so that by 'iddah the woman's womb is clean from pregnancy and the most basic goal of ‘iddah is for ta'abbudi. So, based on ta’abbbudi, the law of carrying out 'iddah is obligatory and sinful for those who break it, both men and women. So, The legal implications for those who marry during the 'iddah period, either iddah due to death or divorce for both men and women who have or have not had sexual intercourse, are that marriage is broken (faced) and must be annulled, and if they have had sexual relation, both of them' you have committed adultery and sinned, even according to Imam Malik because of sexual intercourse, it is haram for a husband who marries a woman during 'iddah to remarry that woman forever. Jumhur ulama allows both men, whether the first husband who divorced her or the second husband who marries a woman during the 'iddah period, to remarry her on condition that the woman has carried out her two periods of 'iddah perfectly, furthermore allowed to marry the man she chose.

Abstract

As a result of the Mount Semeru eruption disaster, disaster victims experience a crisis of the meaning of life for adolescents while taking meaningful learning and affecting their level of spirituality. The meaning of life alone makes a significant contribution to adolescent spirituality. Learning from experience in the form of the psychospiritual impact of the disaster, it is necessary to make efforts to reduce the bad risks due to disasters, especially those that are preventive in nature, namely the logoanalysis program. The purpose of this research is to analyze school wellbeing in youth staff through logoanalysis. This research method is action research with an experimental type with One Group Pretest-Posttest and a research sample of 30 people. Data collection was carried out using the Psychological Preparedness Scale for Disasters and analyzed using the paired sample t-test. The results showed that after the training the average score of positive affect level of School Well Being in Adolescents at the Lumajang Regency Refugee Site after the treatment had increased from 18.70 to 23.10. The conclusion is that there is a significant difference regarding the decrease in negative affect on respondents before and after treatment.Akibat dari bencana erupsi Gunung Semeru telah membuat korban bencana mengalami krisis makna hidup bagi remaja saat menempuh belajar yang berarti serta mempengaruhi tingkat spiritualitas yang dimiliki. Makna hidup sendiri memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap spiritualitas remaja. Belajar dari pengalaman berupa dampak psikospiritual dari bencana tersebut, perlu dilakukan usaha-usaha untuk mengurangi resiko buruk akibat bencana terutama yang bersifat preventif yaitu program logoanalisis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk untuk menganalisa school wellbeing pada tenaga remaja melalui logoanalisis. Metode Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan (action research) dengan jenis eksperimen dengan One Group Pretest-Posttest dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 30 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Skala Kesiapan Psikologis terhadap Bencana dan dianalisis dengan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa setelah pelatihan terjadi skor rata-rata tingkat afek positif School Well Being Pada Remaja di Lokasi Pengungsian Kabupaten Lumajang setelah dilakukan perlakuan mengalami kenaikan dari 18.70 menjadi 23.10. Ada perbedeaan yang signifikan terkait penurunan afek negatif pada responden sebelum dan setelah perlakuan.

Abstract

Budaya membaca membantu membuka mata semua orang, terutama siswa untuk melihat informasi terbaru bahkan sejarah yang telah lalu. Minimnya pembiasaan membaca juga dialami oleh siswa, terutama di sekolah dasar. Untuk mencapai tujuan menumbuhkan minat dan keterampilan membaca siswa di sekolah dasar, kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) harus dimasukkan dalam program literasi dan kebiasaan baca. SD N II Desa Kutamaneuh terletak di Kecamatan Tegalwaru Kabupaten Karawang yang berada dipedesaan menjadi objek kegiatan PkM pendampingan pembiasaan literasi siswa SD N II Kutamaneuh memalui Pojok literasi ini bertujuan untuk membantu masyarakat sekolah dalam meningkatkan minat dan literasi siswa dalam membaca. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan PkM ini adalah pendampingan melalui 3 tahap yaitu perencaan (observasi dan perencanaan pojok baca), pelaksanaan (kegiatan rutin pojok literasi dan program bimbingan litersi), dan monitoring dengan melibatkan siswa SD N II Kutamaneuh kelas 4,5 dan 6, pendidik dan pejabat desa setempat. Pelaksanaan Pendampingan literasi dilaksanakan 3x di bulan Januari melalui kegiatan pojok rutin literasi dan bimbingan literasi oleh pendidik bersama mahasiswa KKN Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang.

Abstract

Workshop ini mendukung pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal dengan memberikan keterampilan dan pengetahuan kepada Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) dalam pengelolaan makanan tanaman terubuk. Hal ini dapat meningkatkan pendapatan mereka serta kontribusi terhadap ekonomi desa. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan mendalam kepada KWT mengenai tanaman terubuk, termasuk jenis-jenisnya, teknik bertani yang efektif; meningkan keterampilan praktis tentang teknik pengelolaan tanaman terubuk, pemilihan varietas yang tepat; mengembangkan pemahaman anggotan KWT dalam pengelolaan bisnis, termasuk pemasaran produk, perencanaan keuangan sederhana dan strategi untuk meningkatkan daya saing di pasar; pengenalan produk olahan tanaman terubuk menjadi produk-produk bernilai tambah, dan memberikan pemahaman tentang aspek hukum dan perizinan yang berkaitan dengan usaha tanaman terubuk. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini yaitu workshop yang dilakukan secara luring (tatap muka). Melalui kegiatan Workshop pendampingan UMKM Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan teoritis maupun praktis mengenai pengelolaan, perizinan dan pemasaran bahan atau produk hasil olahan dari Tanaman terubuk yang ada di Desa Cintawargi Kecamatan Tegalwaru Kabupaten Karawang

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effect of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Social Media Marketing on the decision to purchase course packages through purchase interest as an intervening variable at LKP Yale Communication. The main focus is to identify how these two digital marketing approaches influence purchasing decisions and the extent to which purchase interest acts as a mediator in the process. Methodology: This study uses a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 185 respondents. The variables studied include SEO, Social Media Marketing, Purchase Interest, and Purchase Decisions. Data analysis was performed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method to measure the relationship between these variables and to see the direct and indirect effects. Results: The results of the analysis show that: SEO has a significant direct effect on Purchase Interest and Purchase Decision.  Social Media Marketing has a significant effect on Purchase Interest, but does not show a direct effect on Purchase Decision. Purchase Intention serves as a significant mediating variable in the relationship between SEO and Social Media Marketing on Purchase Decision. Findings: This study found that: SEO strategies are more effective in directly influencing purchase decisions than Social Media Marketing. Social Media Marketing plays an important role in generating purchase intention, which in turn influences purchase decisions. Purchase intention is a key element in linking the impact of SEO and Social Media Marketing on Purchase Decisions. Novelty: The innovation of this study lies in combining SEO and Social Media Marketing in a single analytical framework that considers the role of purchase intention as an intervening variable. This provides new insights into how both digital marketing strategies can be effectively utilized in the context of non-formal education. Originality: Although many previous studies have explored SEO and Social Media Marketing separately, this study offers a new perspective by combining these two elements and making purchase interest a mediator. This study also enriches the literature in the non-formal education sector, which is often under-researched by academics. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study shows that integrated digital marketing strategies are very important for increasing purchasing decisions in the non-formal education sector. The results of the study emphasize the need for greater attention to SEO as an effective tool to directly influence purchasing decisions, while Social Media Marketing should be seen as a means to develop consumer purchase interest. This study is expected to contribute to the development of digital marketing strategies and serve as a reference for further research in this field. Type of Paper: research article

Abstract

Background: School-age children were considered vulnerable to health problems, especially dental health. In 2018, the prevalence of dental and oral problems in children aged 5–9 years in Indonesia reached 67.3%, in Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY) 65.6%, and in Sleman 42.64%. Brushing teeth was an effort to prevent dental and oral problems in children, so health education through animated media became a promotive strategy to support the Indonesia Free from Caries 2030 program. Objective: To determine the effect of animated media on toothbrushing practices in children at SDN Margomulyo 1. Methods: This study was quantitative research using a one-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design. It involved 47 students from grades 1 and 2 as samples using total sampling. Toothbrushing practice was measured using observation sheets before and after health education with animated media. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyses. Bivariate analysis was performed using the Marginal Homogeneity test with The SPSS Program. Results: Before the intervention with animated media, most respondents were in the poor category, with 42 respondents (89.4%), and 5 respondents (10.6%) were in the fair category. After the intervention, 46 respondents (97.9%) had good toothbrushing practices. Statistical analysis using the Marginal Homogeneity test showed a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.05). Conclusion: This study showed that animated media were effective in improving children’s toothbrushing practices and could be utilized in school health promotion.
