Abstract

This study aims to depict the Islam’s history of development and Islamic civilization from its propagation to the present. The descriptive qualitative research approach utilized in developing this study intends to describe the development and civilization of Islam. A literature review collects data from numerous sources such as books, journals, papers, articles, and electronic media such as the Internet. The writer also employs qualitative data analysis and the deductive writing style in this study. The findings show that some of the basics of Islamic civilization proposed by Prophet Muhammad that can be known; mosque building, forming the ukhuwah islamiyah, and building relationships between non-Muslims. Therefore, during this civilization, one of the famous scholars, Nourouzabad ash-Shiddiqi, states that the periods are committed to two periodizations; the classical period of Islam (650-1250), a period of Islamic progress, and a time of disintegration modern period of Islam (1800-today) is marked by the rise of Islam in politics, military, social, and cultural spheres and the revival of philosophical thinking among some of the Arab scientists.

Abstract

Introduction: Taurodontism is a rare developmental abnormality affecting the permanent molars, resulting from the incomplete invagination of Hertwig’s epithelial root sheath at the proper horizontal level. Apexification treatment of a taurodont tooth is challenging and requires special attention due to the difficulty in finding the orifices, as well as the complexity involved in the preparation and obturation of the root canals. Case Reports: This case report aims to present the clinical management of apexification in an immature permanent molar with taurodontism, highlighting, endodontic treatment strategy, and the rationale for using calcium hydroxide as the material of choice. The apexification treatment with calcium hydroxide was performed on the immature maxillary left first molar (tooth 26) of an 11-year-old girl patient diagnosed with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis and mesotaurodontism. After six months, no subjective or clinical symptoms were reported. Although apical closure was not clearly evident on radiography, an apical stop was observed during clinical examination. Following this evaluation, tooth 26 was obturated with gutta-percha combined with a bioceramic sealer, and subsequently restored using direct composite restoration. An evaluation was performed three months post-treatment, incorporating clinical examination and radiographic and cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) imaging. Conclusion: This case report highlights the successful apexification of a maxillary first molar with taurodontism using calcium hydroxide. The patient remained asymptomatic throughout treatment, with radiographic evaluations indicating conditions within normal limits. Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) confirmed adequate obturation extending to the apical region and demonstrated definitive apical closure after six months follow-up.

Abstract

Problem Based Learning (PBL) adalah model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan fokus pada pemecahan masalah dalam kehidupan nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi model PBL dengan menggunakan fishbone diagram pada materi PAI. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan observasi dan wawancara untuk mendapatkan hasil dan informasi mengenai penerapan model PBL dengan teknik fishbone pada materi PAI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dengan teknik fishbone memiliki potensi untuk memotivasi siswa dalam menghasilkan solusi yang kreatif dan inovatif, serta meningkatkan kesadaran mereka terhadap isu-isu sosial yang relevan. Penelitian ini memberikan pedoman yang berharga bagi para pendidik dalam memilih model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik peserta didik mereka. PBL sendiri merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang berfokus pada pemecahan masalah di mana siswa belajar dan mengaplikasikan konsep-konsep teoritis yang mereka pelajari dalam kehidupan nyata. Penggunaan diagram fishbone dalam konteks PBL dapat membantu siswa dalam mengidentifikasi akar permasalahan yang ada serta mencari solusi yang efektif dan berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, implementasi PBL dengan teknik fishbone dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih mendalam dan bermakna bagi siswa, serta membantu mereka dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan analitis yang sangat diperlukan di era globalisasi ini.

Abstract

This community service aims to assist Puksemas in creating a drug-free society through the revitalization of the Parikesit Posyandu program. The method of activity carried out is with assistance and technical guidance through health education, lectures and discussions, as well as monitoring program evaluation. The target for this community service is all youth in Tirtomartani Village, especially the management of Parikesit Posyandu cadres. The activities were carried out starting from preparation to evaluation, which were carried out on November 10-30 2021. Assistance activities began with coordinating program implementation, counseling activities and assisting in the evaluation of the programs being carried out. The final assistance aims to increase knowledge about drugs for adolescents in Tirtomartani Village. The community service which was carried out in the Tirtomartani Village was attended by 21 Parikesit youth cadres. Knowledge of youth cadres before and after drug education increased knowledge with a mean pretest score of 62.38 and a mean posttest score of 95.24. So there is an increase of 32.86. Based on the Paired T-Test statistical test, there is a significant difference between knowledge before and after being given counseling about drugs with a p value of 0.000. Assistance is needed from the Kalasan health center so that Parikesit youth cadres can apply the knowledge they have gained so that they can assist the Puskesmas in carrying out drug prevention and control in adolescents.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) menuntut siswa untuk memahami konsep-konsep keagamaan yang sering kali bersifat abstrak dan filosofis. Namun, dalam praktiknya, banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam berkonsentrasi dan memahami materi PAI secara mendalam. Salah satu strategi yang dapat digunakan untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih kondusif adalah dengan memanfaatkan musik klasik. Sehubungan dengan itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak mendengarkan musik klasik terhadap pemahaman siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI, pengaruh musik klasik terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran PAI, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat penerapan musik klasik dalam pembelajaran PAI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR), yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi, menganalisis, dan mensintesis berbagai temuan penelitian yang relevan. Sumber data diperoleh dari database Google Scholar dan Scopus, dengan rentang publikasi tahun 2015–2025, untuk memastikan bahwa literatur yang digunakan bersifat mutakhir dan relevan dengan perkembangan penelitian terkini. Kriteria pemilihan literatur mencakup karya ilmiah yang membahas dampak musik klasik terhadap konsentrasi, pemahaman, dan hasil belajar siswa, terutama dalam konteks pembelajaran PAI. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pencarian literatur menggunakan kata kunci yang relevan serta operator Boolean (AND, OR, NOT). Sedangkan teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan mengelompokkan temuan utama dari berbagai penelitian dan menyusunnya dalam bentuk tabel untuk mengidentifikasi pola serta menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mendengarkan musik klasik dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi PAI dengan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih tenang dan meningkatkan daya ingat. Musik klasik juga berkontribusi pada peningkatan hasil belajar dengan meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dalam memecahkan masalah serta memperkuat konsentrasi dalam memahami konsep-konsep keagamaan. Namun, respons siswa terhadap musik klasik bervariasi tergantung pada preferensi individu dan kondisi lingkungan belajar. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa musik klasik dapat dijadikan sebagai strategi pembelajaran inovatif dalam pembelajaran PAI, terutama bagi siswa yang mengalami kesulitan berkonsentrasi atau memiliki kecemasan dalam belajar. Namun, penggunaannya perlu disesuaikan dengan karakteristik siswa untuk menghindari distraksi yang dapat menghambat pemahaman. Oleh karena itu, penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas musik klasik dalam setting kelas secara langsung serta mengidentifikasi jenis musik klasik yang paling sesuai dengan pembelajaran PAI.

Abstract

The teacher's position once looked down upon, is now considered a professional and even stipulated in Law no. 14 of 2005 Chapter II Article 2. Therefore, the position of the teacher now is no longer just teaching but also educating, fostering, motivating, and becoming a model for students. Efforts to instill commendable behavior in early childhood can be made through character education if a teacher understands his position. This study sought information about the teacher's position in instilling character education in early childhood at Shafa Marwah Karawang Kindergarten. The method used in this research is qualitative with descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques using passive participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the teacher's position in the development of early childhood character education at Shafa Marwah Karawang Kindergarten is not only as a learning resource, facilitator, manager, demonstrator, mentor, and evaluator but also has a position as a motivator. Teachers are also motivators because the teachers 1) explain or give direction and guidance on the objectives of each activity carried out, 2) arouse student interest will be encouraged them to learn and get used to it well, 3) use various learning models and strategies, 4) creating a pleasant atmosphere, and 5) giving awards or praise to students after doing commendable things.

Abstract

This research consists of two variables, namely the influence of demonstration methods and the learning outcomes of Islamic religious education, thus the aim of this research is to describe the picture of student learning outcomes using demonstration methods, as well as the influence of both in correlational relationships. The population in this study was students at SDN Tegalega II, and the sample was class II students at SDN Tegalega II, Ciampel. The research method used in this research is correlational research with a quantitative approach, this method was chosen to identify the relationship between the influence of demonstration methods on the learning outcomes of Islamic religious education. Data related to the influence of demonstration methods on the learning outcomes of Islamic religious education was collected using a questionnaire instrument, which was prepared using a Likert scale, a data analysis technique using detective and inferential analysis. The results of this study showed that the effect of the demonstration method was 12% in the low category, 72% in the medium category and 16% in the high category. So it can be concluded that the average influence of the demonstration method at SDN Tegalega II is in the medium category. Then the results of studying Islamic religious education were 16% in the low category, 60% in the medium category, 24% in the high category, so it can be concluded that the results of studying Islamic religious education for class II students at SDN Tegalega II are in the medium category. Based on the SPSS outpus in the coefficientsa table, it is known that the significant value (sig) is 0.719 > 0.05 so it can be concluded that HO is accepted and Ha is rejected, which means that “there is no influence of the demonstration method (x) on the learning outcomes of Islamic religious education (y). From the analysis results, it is known that the value R Square = 0.30, thus, it can be concluded that the influence of the demonstration method (x) on the desire to learn Islamic religious education (y) is 30%, while 70% is influenced by other variables that are not variables of this research.

Abstract

Early marriage is a contributing factor to stunting, which remains a serious problem in Indonesia, including in Janapria Village, Janapria District, Central Lombok Regency. This community service activity aims to increase community understanding, particularly among adolescents and parents, regarding the dangers of early marriage and its link to stunting. The activity method involved initial observation, legal counseling regarding the minimum age for marriage in accordance with Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 16 of 2019 concerning Amendments to Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage, nutrition counseling, and interactive discussions. Evaluation included pre- and post-tests, along with feedback from participants. The results of the activity showed an increase in junior high and high school students' understanding of the minimum age for marriage, as well as an increase in housewives' awareness of the role of balanced nutrition and the age of marriage in preventing stunting in Janapria Village, Janapria District, Central Lombok Regency. Participants' enthusiasm was evident in their active participation in discussions, Q&A sessions, and practical sessions on preparing balanced nutritional menus. The conclusion of this activity is that legal socialization and nutrition counseling contribute to increasing public understanding of law and health so that it can become a preventive strategy in reducing the number of early marriages and stunting in Janapria Village.

Abstract

Environmental pollution due to household waste remains a common problem in society that has not received serious attention. This is caused by the lack of public awareness about a healthy environment. Awareness will emerge through knowledge and a good attitude as well as real action to process waste correctly. This awareness is the responsibility of everyone, including youth organizations. As a platform for the younger generation, youth organizations can actively participate in creating cleanliness in the community through waste processing.. This study aims to describe youth knowledge, attitudes, and practices in managing waste in Mardisari, Kertosari, Temanggung. This study used a quantitative descriptive research design with 55 Mardisari youth as sample from a total population of 125 people by used simple random sampling technique. Data is collected by using questionnaires of knowledge, attitude, and practice about waste management. Data is analyzed by univariate analysis. This study shows that most of the youth are include in early adulthood (58.2%), female gender (58.2%), high school education (69.1%). Meanwhile, the description of youth knowledge was in the poor category (56.4%), their attitudes was negative (61.8%), their practices was in the poor category (58.2%). This result is expected to serve as a reference for the youth and the officials of Mardisari Village to play an active role in environmental protection by managing waste to create a healthy environment.
