Abstract

Research on educational games for managing green bean seeds is important because it can increase children's understanding of agriculture, ecosystems and environmental responsibility. This also supports the development of ecological awareness from an early age and encourages future generations to care more about nature. Therefore, this research aims to identify the need for educational games that can facilitate students learning to manage green bean seeds. The research method is mixed research. The data collected is in the form of quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data collection techniques through giving questionnaires to 19 elementary school students. Qualitative data was obtained from observations of learning activities with the research subject, namely Grade 5 teachers. Quantitative data was analyzed through descriptive analysis with percentages, and qualitative data was analyzed using the Bogdan and Biklen model. The results of the analysis of observation activities during learning show that teachers still dominate material delivery activities, and rarely use digital learning media because they are limited to text-based learning media. This is also reinforced by student questionnaire responses which show that the majority of students are familiar with using Android smartphones. However, their smartphone use is mostly for entertainment such as watching YouTube and playing games, not for learning purposes. From the results of this research, it is clear that there are opportunities for developing educational games because students prefer to use smartphones to access games. Furthermore, most of them expressed interest in using this educational game so they could learn the material at home.

Abstract

Digital literacy is the capacity to use a variety of media for information access, analysis, and production, in this case for participants in the economy. In order to increase the digital literacy of UMKM actors, it is necessary to design learning media formulations that address the following issues: 1) a description of how LMS on Digital Marketing is used as a learning tool for UMKM actors, 2) viewpoints on and challenges faced by UMKM players in the field, and 3) learning media formulations that are needed. The observations' findings took the form of a tool for UMKM actors to assess their needs, which was then subjected to descriptive qualitative analysis. Researchers discovered that social media has been used as a learning tool in the field to help people comprehend digital literacy. but has not been implemented optimally, namely: 1) there are obstacles in delivering material, especially material that cannot be observed directly or abstractly, 2) material is too abstract becomes difficult in delivery, UMKM actors need media that can visualize detailed and correct digital literacy so that there are no misunderstandings about digital literacy, and 3) learning media that needs to be developed to increase digital literacy of UMKM actors is LMS Digital Marketing.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that is less attractive to students because it is con-sidered difficult to solve the problems, plus when learning they are often lazy which can cause many problems such as lack of understanding of con-cepts, not developing creative thinking patterns, and decreased academic achievement. Therefore, this study intends to identify the needs of Android-based digital learning media that are able to facilitate students learning math-ematics in a more fun and participatory way. The research method is quanti-tative research, with the data collection instrument, namely a questionnaire. The sample involved in this research consisted of 17 fifth grade elementary school students (5). Responses from the questionnaire were then analyzed descriptively with percentages. The results of this research indicate that stu-dents are used to using Android smartphones, they also often use them, only not for learning but for watching YouTube and playing games. Most of them also want a learning application with the material content being mathematics, so they can learn the material when at home, and in the end students have more time to study than watching Youtube when playing their smartphones, so it is necessary to develop an Android-based learning media for mathematics.

Abstract

Stunting remains a global health issue at present. One important factor in preventing stunting is adequate nutrition from early stages. However, access to accurate and timely nutritional information continues to be a challenge, especially in remote and rural areas. In response, this qualitative study aimed to analyze the use of Chatbots as a facility for accessing nutritional information in an ef fort to prevent stunting. The data were collected through questionnaires and interviews. It involves 40 mothers with toddlers actively participating in the local integrated health posts (posyandu) as research subjects, selected specifically using purposive sampling. The data obtained from this research will be analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The research findings indicate that the current methods of delivering nutritional information, such as lectures and guidebook s, have limited impact in preventing stunting. Therefore, a chatbot emerges as a suitable medium for providing accessible nutritional information. This study contributes to addressing the global health issue of stunting and offers a potential technological solution to enhance access to nutritional information.

Abstract

The era of the industrial revolution demands the ability of individuals to think at a high level amid technology-based civilization. Higher Order Thinking Skills are part of essential skills in the 21st century as a provision for future generations to avoid stuttering about future changes. Education becomes the most responsible field in producing quality human resources and has global competitiveness. Teachers as education implementers must realize that students' higher-order thinking skills can be developed if learning is organized in scenarios that are oriented towards active learning. Scientific-based learning scenarios can get students used to finding knowledge through experience, not from material already in the book. The concept of developing a scientific approach component that is integrated into the learning scenario aims to improve the HOTS of students. The development of the HOTS concept from four literature sources, namely concept Anderson & Krathwohl, Brookhart, Marzano, and the Assessment and Learning Center in Indonesia, is an effort to compile HOTS indicators by taking into account the strengths and weaknesses of each concept.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of ecological literacy learning for students of elementary school. The research approach applied is mixed method. In this case, the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by applying a descriptive qualitative interactive model approach by Miles and Huberman in which the steps are data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion. The results of research relating to students' knowledge and attitudes regarding ecological literacy show that the level of students' ecological literacy is lacking. If we look at the ecological literacy indicators, we get different averages, namely ecological knowledge of 8.71% (sufficient criteria), cognitive ability of 3.24% (poor criteria), environmental awareness attitude of 89.11% (good criteria), and environmentally responsible behavior of 75.33% (good criteria). Factors that influence students' implementation of ecological literacy learning are students' lack of knowledge and attitudes about ecological literacy. Students who have good ecological literacy will behave responsibly towards the environment through knowledge, skills and awareness of environmental problems so that ecological literacy plays a role in building character to care about the environment. Students' ecological literacy learning is carried out through several series of activities, namely providing space for students to improve their knowledge and attitudes about ecological literacy as well as real activities.
