The Impact of Learning Skills on Academic Achievement and Learning Outcomes in High School Asri; Asniwati; Irwan

Abstract

In obtaining student achievements and learning outcomes, students must have good skills and abilities. However, the fact is that many students still have low achievement and learning outcomes. This is urgent to research because there is a difference between theoretical expectations and reality to analyze learning skills and academic achievement within groups and to analyze differences in learning skills between male students and female students. The method in this research is quantitative by testing ANOVA. The subjects were 180 high school students. Data collection technique is using a learning skills instrument that contains two parts. The first section contains the demographics of the respondents. The second part also contains questions regarding learning skills. Instruments are assessed on a critical scale of 1 to 5 by distributing instruments using Google. A data analysis technique is using SPSS Version 25.0. Data analysis was analyzed using the Pearson correlation test to measure the relationship between learning skills and academic achievement. The results and findings show that the exam results show that there are no significant differences in learning skills among fourth-level students of different genders. ANOVA test results show that there are differences in learning skills among students in achieving academic achievement. The Pearson correlation test shows that there is a positive relationship between learning proficiency and academic achievement. The conclusion is that in obtaining achievements and learning outcomes, individual student learning skills and good academic performance are still needed.

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas kepemimpinan transformasional di kalangan pengurus OSIS SMA Negeri 1 Pangkep. Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah membekali siswa dengan keterampilan kepemimpinan yang dapat menginspirasi dan memotivasi rekan-rekan mereka, serta meningkatkan kinerja organisasi sekolah. Mitra sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah 68 siswa yang merupakan anggota dan kandidat calon pengurus OSIS, dipilih karena peran strategis mereka dalam memimpin kegiatan siswa di sekolah. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pelatihan teori, workshop, dan pendampingan dengan metode simulasi, game dan rolepay yang dirancang untuk mengajarkan dan mempraktikkan prinsip-prinsip kepemimpinan transformasional. Kegiatan ini berlangsung selama 1 hari dengan evaluasi yang dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test, angket, serta observasi langsung. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan kepemimpinan peserta. Secara kualitatif, peserta merasa lebih percaya diri dalam memimpin dan bekerja sama dalam tim. Secara kuantitatif, terdapat peningkatan rata-rata 55% pada hasil post-test dibandingkan dengan pre-test. Program ini berhasil mencapai tujuannya dan memiliki potensi untuk diterapkan di sekolah-sekolah lain dengan penyesuaian sesuai kebutuhan setempat.

Abstract

Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru SMKN 5 Pangkep dalam menerapkan Deep Learning dalam pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini bertujuan membekali guru dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan praktis Deep Learning untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan berbasis data.. Mitra sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah guru-guru SMKN 5 Pangkep yang memiliki peran strategis dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam proses pengajaran. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pelatihan teori, praktikum, pengembangan modul pembelajaran, serta uji coba implementasi di kelas. Guru-guru diberikan pemahaman mendalam Deep Learning dalam pendidikan, serta praktik langsung menggunakan perangkat lunak yang relevan. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui kuesioner, observasi, serta uji coba pembelajaran berbasis Deep Learning di kelas. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan guru terhadap konsep Deep Learning. Secara kualitatif, peserta merasa lebih percaya diri dalam menerapkan teknologi ini dalam proses pembelajaran. Secara kuantitatif, 78% responden menyatakan bahwa workshop ini "sangat bermanfaat," mengindikasikan relevansi dan efektivitas program dengan kebutuhan guru. Program ini berhasil mencapai tujuannya dan memiliki potensi untuk diterapkan di sekolah lain dengan penyesuaian sesuai dengan kebutuhan kurikulum dan kesiapan tenaga pendidik.

Abstract

Digital marketing is becoming more dangerous because of phony reviews and information manipulation. To keep community-based enterprises going, it is important to follow ethical procedures. This study examines customer testimonials and Word of Mouth (WOM) practices in the digital marketing of Jipangta” Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs, also referred to as UMKM), investigates their influence on consumer trust and explores the integration of Islamic ethical values in digital promotional activities. Utilizing a qualitative case study methodology, the research incorporated comprehensive interviews with the business owner, social media administrator and consumers, alongside the observation of digital marketing practices on Instagram and WhatsApp Business and the documentation of social media content. Data were examined through the interactive model of Miles, Huberman and Saldaña, utilizing Islamic ethical principles (ṣidq, amanah, al-'adl, tadlīs, gharar) as analytical frameworks. Jipangta” MSME uses customer reviews and word-of-mouth as their main digital marketing tools. Testimonials are a form of social proof that builds trust in customers by being real. Both digital (e-WOM) and conventional methods help WOM happen and the strong social ties in Bone Regency make it even stronger. Islamic ethical standards are applied in specific situations, such as honesty (ṣidq) in advertising and accountability (amanah) in customer service. However, it is still hard to keep up with the same level of openness all the time. This study enhances the digital marketing literature by including Islamic ethics as an empirical analytical framework into local MSME contexts, offering a contextual comprehension of value-based marketing strategies in religious groups.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged the use of interactive learning media in elementary education. However, various digital innovations have not fully demonstrated a consistent pedagogical impact on student learning efficiency and interest, especially when media development emphasizes technical aspects rather than instructional design and outcome-based evaluation. This study aims to develop and evaluate a web-based educational game designed to improve elementary school students' learning efficiency and interest. The study used a design and development research approach, which included needs analysis, design, development, and evaluation stages. The research subjects consisted of 32 fourth-grade elementary school students. Data were collected through learning outcome tests (pre-test and post-test), task completion time measurements, learning interest questionnaires, and classroom observations. Quantitative analysis using a paired-sample t-test showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes after using the educational game (t(31) = 9.27; p < 0.001; d = 1.64) and a significant decrease in task completion time (t(31) = 8.11; p < 0.001; d = 1.43). Students' learning interest scores were in the high category (M = 4.21). These findings indicate that pedagogically designed web-based educational games are capable of simultaneously increasing the efficiency and learning interest of elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Influence of Performance Allowances, Organizational Culture and Motivation on Employee Performance. This research approach uses a quantitative approach of primary data through the distribution of questionnaires to 40 employees of the Regional Secretariat Organization Bureau of West Papua Province. To measure the direct influence of the variables of Performance Allowance, Organizational Culture and Work Motivation on Employee Performance with the help of an analysis tool using SPSS v.25. The results of the study show that partially the performance allowance variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, the organizational culture variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and the work motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, the variables of Performance Allowance, Organizational Culture and Work Motivation have a positive and significant effect on the Performance of Employees of the Regional Secretariat Organization Bureau of West Papua Province. From the results of the standardized Beta coefficients, it can be seen that the performance allowance variable is more dominant in influencing the performance of employees of the West Papua Provincial Secretariat Organization Bureau

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Digital Competence, Technology-Based Training, and Learning Innovation on the Teaching Performance of ITB Nobel lecturers in the hybrid work era. The population in this study were all permanent lecturers at ITB Nobel Makassar who were actively teaching in the current semester, totaling 126 people. In determining the number of samples for this study, the researcher used the Slovin formula, which aims to obtain a proportional and representative sample size for the population. Based on the calculation results, a sample of 96 respondents was obtained, which was considered to have been able to accurately describe the characteristics of the population. This study used multiple linear regression analysis techniques or models with the help of SPSS 25 software. The results showed that the third variable, both partially and simultaneously, had a positive and significant effect on the teaching performance of lecturers, with a contribution of 75.4%. The Learning Innovation variable is the most dominant factor in improving lecturer performance in the digital era. This study provides an empirical contribution to the development of a lecturer performance improvement model based on digital competency and pedagogical innovation, as well as providing practical effectiveness for strengthening human resource capacity in higher education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman tentang pengembangan karir usaha di sektor perkebunan kelapa sawit, serta memberikan solusi yang lebih terintegrasi untuk mengatasi tantangan yang dihadapi oleh pelaku usaha. Hal ini akan mendukung tidak hanya keberlangsungan usaha, tetapi juga meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat di Desa Salugatta dan sekitarnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif-asosiatif. Pendekatan kuantitatif dipilih karena data yang dikumpulkan berupa angka dan akan dianalisis menggunakan metode statistik. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa mental sukses berfungsi sebagai variabel dominan, memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap pengembangan karir dengan nilai p sebesar 0,001. Kemampuan wirausaha dan dana KUR juga berkontribusi, namun dengan pengaruh yang lebih kecil. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel tersebut menunjukkan dampak signifikan, menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan holistik dalam pengembangan usaha pertanian. Nilai penelitian ini penting untuk ilmu pengetahuan dan praktik kebijakan. Hasilnya menambah pemahaman tentang faktor psikologis dan praktis yang memengaruhi keberhasilan petani di sektor perkebunan. Temuan ini juga menjadi dasar bagi pemerintah dan lembaga untuk merancang program pelatihan yang fokus pada pengembangan mental sukses, kemampuan wirausaha, dan akses dana KUR, mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal.

Abstract

The development of information technology has had a significant impact and is applied in various areas of life, including the world of education. The aim of this service is to build and implement an information system that can increase speed and accuracy, as well as minimize errors in manual recording. The service methods used include interviews and literature studies, direct observation, and application design using the Waterfall method which includes needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing and maintenance. Thorough testing of the application is carried out to ensure the functionality, security, speed and reliability of the system. Training on the use of the application is held for teachers, administrative staff, and students to provide in-depth understanding and practical demonstrations. The test results show that the system can run well, while the user response is very satisfied with the online registration application and the training provided. The implementation of this QR code-based application is expected to increase operational efficiency and provide a better experience for prospective students and parents. This initiative is a real step in the digital transformation at SMKN 3 BONE, in line with the increasingly rapid development of information technology, as well as improving the quality of the registration and administration process at the school.

Abstract

The implementation of Field Work Practice (PKL) in vocational schools still faces administrative and monitoring challenges due to reliance on manual reporting systems. These limitations affect reporting efficiency, transparency, and teachers' ability to monitor student activities in real time. This community service activity aimed to implement and assist the use of a web-based PKL monitoring system at SMK Nasional Makassar to support digital monitoring, reporting, and evaluation of PKL activities. The implementation process included needs analysis, system design, implementation, user socialization, mentoring, and evaluation using the Waterfall approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature review. System evaluation was conducted through Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The Black Box Testing results showed that all main system functions operated properly in accordance with user requirements. Furthermore, the UAT results showed a feasibility percentage of 88.5%, indicating that the system was categorized as “Very Feasible.” The implementation of the system improved the effectiveness of real-time monitoring, digital reporting, data management, and administrative efficiency of PKL activities in vocational schools. The findings demonstrate that the web-based monitoring system can effectively support digital transformation in vocational education management.
