Abstract

Introduction: Mobile phones are currently undergoing development, with a variety of conveniences that they can do. Cell phones, or what is known as smartphones or smartphones at this time, produce electromagnetic wave radiation that affects the health of the human body. Aims: Knowing the effect of mobile phone electromagnetic radiation on human brain health. Method: Research using narrative-type Literature Review, journals, and books nationally and internationally. Electromagnetic radiation from mobile phone use affects several human health disorders. Results: Indications of these health problems can be in the form of tumors and cancer in the brain, which can cause stress, and disruption of sperm, gliomas, and red blood cells. Interference caused by the electromagnetic radiation of mobile phones to health is still a polemic. Conclusion: Electromagnetic radiation from mobile phone use can potentially cause some health disorders.

Abstract

Loss of Aircraft Control incidents have occurred frequently in the past few years. In the last 7 years, 5 aircraft have experienced Loss of Aircraft Control. Loss of Aircraft Control itself is the disappearance of the aircraft from the monitoring radar. The causes of loss of aircraft contact include the effects of weather. In the aviation system, weather does have a very big influence. To minimize the loss of aircraft contact, each aircraft is equipped with a weather radar or what is known as the WX Radar System. WX Radar System is an example of the application of electromagnetic waves, namely radio waves that work with the principle of the doppler effect. Where the radar will emit electromagnetic waves with a low frequency which will then be reflected back by weather particles in the earth's atmosphere. The results of the reflection are then displayed in the cockpit of the aircraft so that the pilot knows the weather conditions outside the aircraft so as to avoid things that are not desired such as loss of aircraft contact or Loss of Aircraft Control.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh spektrum warna pada perangkap lampu terhadap jumlah dan jenis serangga yang tertarik. Penelitian dilakasanakan di area sawah daerah Sukorejo, Kecamatan Sumbersari, Jember, Jawa Timur, berlangsung selama 12 jam mulai pukul 17.30 hingga 05.30 dan berulang hingga 3 hari. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimental kuantitatif dengan dua variabel yang diteliti yaitu jumlah serangga yang tertangkap dan jenis serangga yang tertangkap. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh sntara spektrum warna yang digunakan pada perangkap lampu terhadap jumlah dan jenis serangga yang tertankap. Perangkap yang mampu menangkap serangga terbanyak dan paling beragam jenisnya adalah perangkap dengan lampu berwarna putih sedangkan lampu yang paling sedikit menangkap serangga baik jumlah mauun jenisnya adalah perangkap dengan lampu berwarna merah.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore the computational thinking skills using Microcontroller under implementation of science module. Computational thinking is not only an investment in computer science, but can be applied across disciplines as a step towards solving higher-order thinking problems. Improving computational thinking skills helps students to adapt to the digital age of the 21st century. To improve these skills, a tool or media is needed, such as a learning module, that can guide students in performing activities in this area. This module contains student activity using microcontrollers as a tool for collecting data. The analysis data include practicality and effectiveness of the science module. The method used was a group pre-post test as learning assessment and use practicality observation sheet, student pretest - posttest and student response questionnaire. The results of this study are the practicality of 92% which is declared very practical, and the effectiveness of 0.78 obtained from the n-gain analysis which means it is quite effective, the p-value of paired sample t-test is less than the threshold of 0.05 which indicates a significant increase in students' computational thinking skills and direct student experience in connecting sensors related to technological applications applied in the world of agriculture and get a positive response with a score of 72% with a good category. From the results of the analysis obtained, it can be concluded that the implementation of the module can improve students' computational thinking skills
