Abstract

Maemunah, 2021. Ability to Write Number Symbols (shù zì) in Chinese for High School Students Celebes Global School Makassar. Thesis. Mandarin Language Education Study Program, Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Languages and Literature. Makassar State University (supervised by Misnawaty Usman and Hasmawati).This research is a descriptive quantitative research to describe the students’ ability to write Mandarin numbers at the 10th grade of SMA Celebes Global School Makassar which collected 14 students of class X of SMA Celebes Global School. The data of this study was gathered throght tests and documentation. The analysis result shows that the students’ ability to write the Mandarin numeric number is 81% or in good category. Keywords: Ability, Mandarin, Writing Chinese Characters, Number Symbols

Abstract

This research was conducted to obtain data and information regarding the analysis of complementary words of directions (Qūxiàng Bǔyǔ) 来 (Lái) and 去 (Qù) of Mandarin sentences in MAS An-Nuriyah Bontocini Jeneponto, grade XI. The type of this research used descriptive qualitative. The population in this study were 40 students of class XI MAS An-Nuriyah Bontocini Jeneponto consisting of 18 students of class XI science and 20 students of class XI social studies. The sample of this study was 18 students, and the sampling method was full sampling. The data of this study were obtained through an error analysis test of the complementary word of direction来 (Lái) and 去 (Qù) in Mandarin sentences of class XI Students of  MAS An-Nuriyah Bontocini Jeneponto. The data analysis used percentage technique with the results of the percentage analysis that 28%, it shows that the analysis of errors in the direction of complementary words of direction来 (Lái) and 去 (Qù) in of Mandarin sentences in MAS An-Nuriyah Bontocini Jeneponto, grade XI .

Abstract

This study is an ethnographic study with a qualitative approach which aims to determine the meaning and function of burning spirit money in the Chinese community of Makassar City in cross-cultural knowledge learning. The informants in this study were three Chinese people in Makassar City who still carry out the tradition of burning spirit money with observation and interview data collection techniques. The results of the interview were written into a transcript which was made into an abstraction. The abstractions that have been made are grouped based on the taxonomy of the research domain, a cultural theme is determined for writing an ethnography. The results of the study concluded that the meaning of burning spirit money was to honor those who had died and that spirit money was used to ransom the King of Hell so that the departed ancestors could be immediately released. Burning spirit money serves so that family members who have died can buy whatever they want in the afterlife. The cultural values contained in the burning of spirit money are religious values and cultural education values. The importance of studying cross-cultural knowledge is to avoid misunderstandings between people with different cultures. Keywords: Spiritual Money, Chinese Society, Cross Culture

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengklasifikasi jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa kelas VIII SMP Kalam Kudus Makassar dalam penggunaan kata bantu bilangan [Liàngcí 量词] dalam kalimat bahasa Mandarin. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan tes penggunaan kata bantu bilangan dan angket. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode analisis kesalahan yang dikemukakan oleh Ellis. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Kalam Kudus  Makassar yang terdiri dari 20 siswa. Data penelitian ini bersumber dari analisis kesalahan penggunaan kata bantu bilangan [liàngcí量词] dalam kalimat bahasa Mandarin. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan penggunaan kata bantu bilangan sebanyak 162 total kesalahan. Kesalahan penggunaan kata bantu bilangan [Liàngcí 量词]  berdasarkan kategori kesalahan yaitu hampir tidak ada kesalahan adalah kata bantu bilangan gè 个sebanyak 8,02%; zhī 只sebanyak 9,25%; tái台sebanyak 9,87%; shuāng双sebanyak 9,25%; kǒu口sebanyak 9,25%; suì岁sebanyak 8,02%. Kesalahan penggunaan kata bantu bilangan [Liàngcí 量词] berdasarkan kategori kesalahan yaitu kurang sekali adalah kata bantu bilangan bēi 杯sebanyak 10,49%; běn本sebanyak 12,34%; wèi 位sebanyak 11,11%; jiàn件sebanyak 12,34%. Hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa faktor penyebab terjadinya kesalahan kata bantu bilangan [Liàngcí 量词] yaitu kurangnya perbendaharaan kosakata, kurangnya siswa dalam mengulangi pelajaran, kurangnya ketelitian.Kata Kunci: Analisis Kesalahan,  Kata Bantu Bilangan [liàngcí 量词, Bahasa Mandarin.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa dapat dikembangkan dengan  berbagai teknik.  Salah satu teknik di antaranya adalah teknik pembelajaran berkelompok. Fungsi pembelajaran kelompok dapat  dipandang dari dua paradigma yaitu paradigma psikologi dan paradigma sosial. Dari segi paradigma psikologi, pembelajar dapat merasa diakui, diterima dan dihargai dalam bekerja dengan orang lain lain dalam kelompoknya.  Sedangkan  aspek  paradigma sosial dapat menyebabkan terciptanya aktifitas yang produktif karena terpeliharanya hubungan sosial yang dapat mempengaruhi sikap anggota kelompok. Pengajar berperan dalam pembelajaran tersebut sebagai pengamat,  motivator,  dan fasilitator. Langkah – langkah dalam pembelajaran tersebut adalah tahap pembentukan kelompok dan tahap penyajian. Tahap penyajian ini meliputi persiapan dan penyusunan unit-unit pembelajaran (planungsphase), pelaksanaan (Durchfuhrungsphase), penyajian pelajaran yang telah disusun dalam unit-unit pelajaran, dan perangkuman atau umpan balik. Kata kunci : kemampuan berbahasa, pembelajaran berkelompok

Abstract

This study aims to examine the function and meaning of feng shui for the Chinese community in Makassar City. This research is an ethnographic study. Research data were obtained through interviews. The informants of this study were selected from Chinese residents in Makassar City. The results showed that feng shui means to harmonize, balance, and harmonize between humans and the universe. Meanwhile, the function of feng shui is as a benchmark to organize and arrange buildings to create good and balanced energy to bring good luck. The learning of knowledge across feng shui cultures is a stage so that the Chinese community is aware of their own culture and the local community respects the existence of cultural diversity.Keywords: Fengshui, Chinese Society, Makassar City, Cross-Cultural Knowledge

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study aimed at obtaining data about the error rate and forms of errors in writing Chinese interrogative sentences for the sixth-grade students of SD Frater Thamrin Makassar. The population in this study were all students of class VI SD Frater Thamrin Makassar with a total of 28 students. The sampling technique was carried out using total sampling, so that the entire population was used as the research sample, namely 28 people. The research data was obtained by giving a sentence writing test and a sentence composing test. Data analysis techniques using percentages. The results showed that there were 33 errors in preparing interrogative sentences with a percentage of 14.3% and errors in writing interrogative sentences as many as 39 errors with a percentage of 16.9%. The total errors in writing interrogative sentences are 72 items, including in the category of Fairly High with a percentage of 31.3%. There are three forms of errors in this study, namely the form of errors in the use of vocabulary, the form of errors in sentence structure, and the forms of errors in the use of question words. Keywords: Error Analysis, Writing, Introgative Sentences, Chinese

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus yang dirancang untuk memberikan informasi tentang keyakinan guru dalam mengajarkan kosakata bahasa Inggris di kelas pada Kelompok Bermain dan Taman Kanak-Kanak Kharisma Makassar. Terdapat tujuh orang guru sebagai subjek penelitian. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keyakinan guru dalam mengajarkan kosakata bahasa Inggris terletak pada kemampuan guru menguasai konsep pembelajaran bahasa asing untuk anak, memahami peran guru dalam mengajar dan pentingnya pendekatan komunikatif dengan anak.
