Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).The cause of damage to chili plants is caused by plant pest organisms (OPT), including mite-type pest organisms (Acariformes). This study aimed to inventory the types of mites that attack chili plants. Field research has been carried out on chili plants in three villages namely Timbangan Village, Pulau Semambu Village, and Palemraya Village, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra and Laboratory observations were carried out at the Entomology Laboratory of the Plant Protection Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This research was conducted starting on August 26 to September 8, 2022. Sampling was carried out descriptively and data collection in the field was carried out in a survey with systematic random sampling technique at the observation location. Sampling of chili plants was selected when the chili plants had entered the production phase which showed symptoms of attack on chili. Samples of mites were taken from the leaves and individual mites were taken and then observed under a microscope. The results obtained from all samples showed that the red mites (Tetranycus sp.) and yellow mites (Polyphagotarsonemus latus) were the red mites (Tetranycus sp.) and yellow mites (P.latus). From the samples taken from the survey in three villages, two species of mites were found. Of the 7 samples that have been identified, a red mite species (Tetranycus sp) was found in the first village located in Timbangan Village. In the second village, located in Palemraya Village, from 5 samples that have been identified, a yellow mite species (P.latus) was found. The last village, located in Pulau Semambu Village, found the same species as Palemraya Village, namely the yellow mite (P.latus). The mites found in the study in the chili area in three villages in Ogan Ilir were mites of the species Tetranycus sp and P.latus. Mite control in chili can be done biologically by utilizing natural enemies of mites such as the beetle Amblysiuscucumeris Oriusminutes, Coccinellidae Coccinellarepanda.

Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Pest control on long bean plants by utilizing natural enemies is part of a control method that emphasizes ecological aspects that are safe and recommended. This study aimed to determine the presence and availability of insect pests and predatory insects in long bean plantations. The types of traps used in this study were Pitfall Trap, Yellow Trap, and Sweep Net. Observations and sampling were carried out in the vegetative phase of long bean plants in three villages: Tanjung Seteko, Tanjung Pering and Permata Villages. Then, the trapped insects were put into vials that had been given 70% alcohol and identified using identification guidebooks and journals. Based on the results of the research, the insect pests found were Agelastica alni, Aphis craccivora, Aulocophora similis, Aulacophora femoralis, Bactrocera triyoni, Bactrocera dorsalis, Nezara viridula, Proxys punctulatus, Riptortus linearis, Sehirus cenctus, Spodoptera litoralis, Maruca vitrata, Brachyplatys subaeneus, Dissosteira carolina. While the predatory insects found were Coccinella transversalis, Pantala flavescens, Proctacanthus milbertii, Stagmomantis carolina, Anax parthenope, Odontoponera denticulate and Oecophylla smaradigna. The highest number of insects obtained were from pests with a total of 14 species with the most from the order Hemiptera. Thus, the availability of insect pests and predators in long bean plantations is different because farmers apply synthetic insecticides so that pest insect species dominate. Based on the observations and analysis of the results, the authors suggest that this research can be redeveloped by making observations in two phases, namely the vegetative and generative phases.

Abstract

Adolescence are part of an age group from 10 years to before the age of 18 years. Efforts to maintain adolescent health aim to prepare adolescents to become healthy, intelligent, high-quality and productive adults and to participate in maintaining, nurturing and improving their health. Adolescent health is very important to pay attention to because during adolescence, teenagers experience significant changes physically, psychologically and socially. Adolescent health efforts include positive coaching, accident prevention, violence prevention, reproductive health, prevention and control of infectious diseases and prevention of non-communicable diseases, nutrition and physical activity, mental health, and adolescent health in crisis situations. This community service takes the topic of reproductive health to increase participants' knowledge about reproductive health. This community service method uses an educational approach through counseling with a total of 38 teenagers who are members of the community from Kesek Village, Labang District. Counseling is carried out by involving lecturers whose expertise is adapted to the problem. The results of the counseling showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge as demonstrated by the post-test results. Participants in the good category increased in number from 3 people (13,2%) at the pre-test to 26 people (68,4%) at the post-test. The results of the outreach found that many teenagers still do not care about reproductive health problems associated with stunting cases. The impact of the service is that there is an increase in teenagers' knowledge regarding efforts to prevent stunting disease related to reproductive health. For this reason, teenagers need to make preventative efforts by maintaining their diet and carrying out early examinations at the nearest health service

Abstract

Hama Oryctes rhinoceros (Coleoptera:Scarabaeidae) merupakan hama  penting pada kelapa sawit. Pengendalian secara terpadu dan berkelanjutan harus senantiasa dilakukan. Penggunaan bakteri entomopatogen Bacillus thuringiensis menjadi alternatif bagi pengendalian kimiawi. Tujuan penelitian untuk mempelajari efektivitas B. thuringiensis yang diperbanyak dengan  bahan limbah padat terhadap mortalitas O. rhinoceros. Percobaan dirancang dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dan dilakukan di rumah bayang, dengan 6 perlakuan meliputi :  P1: onggok + bungkil kelapa sawit (2:1), P2: onggok + ampas tahu (2:1), P3 : onggok + bungkil kacang tanah (2:1), P4 : onggok + ampok jagung (2:1), P5 (kontrol air), P6 (kontrol insektisida) dan dilakukan sebanyak 4 ulangan. Serangga uji berupa larva Oryctes instar 3, sebanyak 10 ekor per ulangan. Keadaan di rumah bayang dengan suhu udara berkisar 25,1˗40,2 oC dan kelembaban udara 52,9˗99%. Mortalitas larva tertinggi pada hari ke 20 (82,50 %) pada perlakuan P1 (onggok+bungkil kelapa sawit, 2:1), dan terendah pada P3 (onggok + bungkil kacang tanah, 2:1) (47.5%). Larva yang tetap hidup menunjukkan gejala penurunan berat dan panjang tubuh. Gejala infeksi berupa perubahan warna tubuh, tidak aktif dan gejala kematian berupa tubuh lunak dan berair. Penggunaan B. thuringiensis sebagai agens pengendali hama merupakan cara pengendalian  yang prospektif.

Abstract

Abstract: Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disease characterized by elevated blood glucose levels or hyperglycemia, which typically occurs due to an imbalance between insulin production, availability, and demand in the body. The aim of this study was to identify several factors influencing blood glucose levels in diabetes mellitus patients. The study design used in this research was cross-sectional. The study was conducted at the Bangetayu Community Health Center. The study was conducted in February 2024. The population consisted of all DM patients enrolled in the Prolanis program. The sample size was 119 participants. Purposive sampling was used for sample selection. The research instrument employed a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using univariate and bivariate methods. The results of the study showed a significant association between dietary compliance (p-value: 0.001) and physical activity (p-value: 0.022) with blood glucose levels. It is recommended that health centers enhance the effectiveness of health education programs for diabetes patients regarding the factors that can trigger an increase in blood glucose levels.Keywords: Physical Activity, Diabetes Mellitus, Diet.

Abstract

Permintaan layanan informasi pada suatu bagian dalam satu perusahaan tentu menjadi sebuah kegiatan yang rutin terjadi, namun jika permintaan layanan informasi dilakukan dalam jumlah yang banyak dan waktu yang padat tentu akan menjadi sebuah masalah. Untuk menangani permasalahan menumpuknya permintaan layanan informasi seperti keluhan pelanggan, permintaan data konsumen, pelayanan nasabah baru, dan permasalahan serupa maka banyak diterapkan pengembangan asisten virtual atau biasa disebut dengan chatbot.Chatbot merupakan suatu aplikasi asisten virtual yang mampu melakukan interaksi secara langsung kepada setiap pesan yang masuk tanpa perlu menunggu operator untuk membaca dan membalas pesan-pesan tersebut, sehingga chatbot merupakan solusi yang dinilai efektik untuk menangani permasalahan dalam permintaan layanan informasi yang menumpuk. Selain itu, pengembangan chatbot juga berguna untuk memberikan layanan pemberian informasi yang lebih responsif bagi kolektor perusahaan. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan pembuatan suatu aplikasi chatbot dengan platform LINE menggunakan metode extreme programming dan startegi forward chaining yang bertujuan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi bagi kolektor di PT. Indomobil Finance Indonesia serta melakukan penghematan terhadap biaya operasional yang dikeluarkan oleh PT. IMFI (Indomobil Finance Indonesia). Hasil dari pengembangan sistem berjalan pada layanan informasi kolektor PT. IMFI (Indomobil Finance Indonesia) menghasilkan sebuah aplikasi chatbot berbasis LINE. Hasil dari pengujian blackbox testing serta user acceptance test menghasilkan persentase keberhasilan aplikasi Chatbot Kolektor mencapai 95%, dan presentase kegagalan aplikasi 5%, angka tersebut menunjukkan bahwa proses pembuatan aplikasi chatbot untuk memenuhi kebutuhan layanan informasi bagi kolektor PT. Indomobil Finance Indonesia berhasil dilakukan dan seluruh fungsional berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. AbstractRequests for information services at a certain point in a company are certainly a routine activity, but if requests for information services are carried out in large numbers and at a tight time, it will certainly be a problem. To deal with the problem of accumulating requests for information services As customer complaints, request for data, consumer demand service, new borrowers and problems like it so, the development of virtual assistants, commonly known as chatbots, is applied. Chatbot is a virtual assistant application that is able to interact directly with every incoming message without the need to wait for the operator to read and delete the messages, so chatbot is a solution that can solve problems in accumulating information service requests. In addition, chatbot development is also useful for providing services to be more responsive for the collector of the company. In this study, a chatbot application was made with the LINE platform using the extreme programming method and forward chaining strategy which has the intention of meeting information needs by collectors at PT. IMFI (Indomobil Finance Indonesia) and make savings on operational costs incurred by PT. IMFI (Indomobil Finance Indonesia). The results of the development of the system running on the collector information service of PT. Indomobil Finance Indonesia produces a LINE-based chatbot application. The results of the blackbox testing and user acceptance test resulted in a successful presentation of the Collector's Chatbot application reaching 95%, and the percentage of application failure was 5%, this figure shows that the process of making a chatbot application to meet the information service needs of PT. Indomobil Finance Indonesia was successfully carried out and all functions were running as expected.

Abstract

Currently, the palm oil industry disposes the Spent Bleaching Earth (SBE) to the land-field without a proper treatment process. Some peoples argue that the SBE still in high oil content and will pose an environmental problem due to hazardous content and it will easily catch fires. One possible solutions is optimizing SBE for land restoration, which could also be enhancing livelihood and reducing pollution. This paper identifies the SBE-bioprocess according to the Indonesian National Regulation for toxic-hazard waste and soil rehabilitation. SBE-bioprocess testing was conducted as toxic-hazard waste both on TCLP organic and anorganic form also as a soil amendment criteria both certain function and organic. Research shows that the SBE-bioprocess could not be categorized as toxic-hazard waste due to very low value of toxic and hazard compounds. Additional C-organic is important before using it as an organic soil amendments. Lab test shows that SBE-bioprocess is high value of CEC, then could be developed for specific function of soil amendments.

Abstract

Siltation of the river, ditches, reservoirs in urban areas is a problem because it causes flooding. The government annually undertakes dredging of the precipitate for the flow of water to flow smoothly. Soil sedimentary water potential to be utilized as a medium of planting in the development of urban agriculture. The research was conducted by survey method in water area of Surabaya. The sample was taken using random method of choosing, that is choosing condition of place environment and soil condition which is possible for planting medium. Soil sediment samples were observed for pH, color,structure, texture, organic matter content, Nitrogen (N-total), K2O and P2O5. The result of research showed that all of the textured sedimentary soil content of clay was about 89,87-92,14%, organic material was about 5,96-7,60%, total N was about 0,09-0,13%, K2O was about 0,88-1,12%, and P2O5 was about 2,08-2,44%. The color of soil was grayish-black. The mud deposits of the housing sewer were the most crumbling and the most consumptive reservoir was sludge. Sewage soil sludge is potentially used as a planting medium in the development of urban agriculture. Keywords: Planting Media, Urban Agriculture, Soil Sedimentary.
