Abstract

The promotion strategy is the main factor for increasing the popularity of a region, including for the benefit of tourism. Regions in East Java were encouraged to develop the tourism sector causing an increase in tourist villages, one of which was carried out in Medowo village. The change in the focus of the village to become a tourist village is an opportunity for the local community to develop agricultural products into products that have a higher selling value. Product promotion needs to be shown carefully to keep up with the times. Changes in promotion through information technology require the public to be careful in choosing the right media and uploading interesting content. The purpose of this community service is to help the people of Medowo village develop the tourism sector and UMKM so that it has an impact on improving the economy and people’s welfare. Participation Rural Appraisal (PRA) is used as a method of community sevice by emphasizing solidarity among communities. The result is that the majority of people have a livelihood as farmers. There are three things that need to be considered by Medowo village to improve the tourism sector, namely (1) the uniqueness of the Medowo village area, (2) the target market for the tourism sector, and (3) the selection of social media and content that supports the tourism sector. The cillage community must be able to recognize the uniqueness of Medowo village, this can also be used as an opportunity to form new livelihoods in the UMKM sector. Keyword: Promotion strategy, tourist village, tourism. Abstrak Strategi promosi menjadi faktor utama untuk meningkatkan popularitas sebuah wilayah termasuk untuk kepentingan pariwisata. Wilayah di Jawa Timur didorong untuk mengembangkan sektor wisata menyebabkan peningkatan desa wisata, salah satunya dilakukan di Desa Medowo. Perubahan fokus desa menjadi desa wisata menjadi peluang bagi masyarakat setempat untuk mengembangkan produk hasil bumi menjadi produk yang memiliki nilai jual lebih tinggi. Promosi produk perlu diperlihatkan dengan cermat mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Perubahan promosi melalui teknologi informasi membutuhkan kecermatan masyarakat memilih media yang tepat dan mengunggah konten yang menarik. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk menunjukkan peluang dan potensi desa untuk berkembang menjadi desa wisata. Participation Rural Appraisal (PRA) digunakan sebagai metode pengabdian masyarakat dengan menekankan solidaritas diantara masyarakat. Hasilnya mayoritas masyarakat memiliki mata pencaharian sebagai petani. Terdapat tiga hal yang perlu diperhatikan oleh Desa Medowo untuk meningkatkan sektor wisata yaitu (1) keunikan wilayah Desa Medowo, (2) target pasar untuk sektor pariwisata, dan (3) pemilihan media sosial dan konten yang mendukung sektor pariwisata. Masyarakat desa harus mampu mengenali keunikan yang dimiliki Desa Medowo, hal ini juga bisa dijadikan peluang membentuk mata pencaharian baru pada sektor UMKM. Kata kunci: Strategi promosi, desa wisata, pariwisata.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out (1) strategies for overcoming political polarization that occurs in Surakarta City after the 2024 Elections, (2) obstacles in overcoming political polarization in the people of Surakarta City after the 2024 Elections, and (3) its implications for regional resilience in Surakarta City. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research method, data collection techniques using in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, and the data analysis used is interactive. The object of this research is related to the polarization of society after the election and regional resilience in the city of Surakarta. The results of the study show that the harmonization of political polarization carried out by the Surakarta city government in collaboration with all levels of society through dialogue activities, socialization, regular meetings of the village government with the community, heads of RT and RW, cooperation and recitation. However, in the harmonization, it turns out that there are obstacles, namely the existence of irresponsible individuals who provoke the community and there are still some people who are indirectly in conflict because they are hurt because their choice in the 2024 election is not elected. This harmonization has implications for regional resilience in the city of Surakarta which is increasingly resilient because the existence of Pancasila as an ideology can be maintained, the people of Surakarta are increasingly mature in democracy, the regional economy is increasing, socio-cultural life is more harmonious because prioritizing tolerance and security can be well maintained.

Abstract

Malang City is one of the cities in Indonesia with high cultural and religious diversity. However, this diversity also has the potential to lead to social conflicts. This community service program aims to optimize the potential of youth in peace communities in Malang City by implementing civic literacy classes and developing digital media that upholds inclusive values. This program is carried out in several stages, namely (1) identification and selection of participants from youth groups, (2) conducting civic literacy classes that include material on citizens' rights and obligations, tolerance, and diversity, (3) training in digital media development to spread messages of peace and inclusiveness, and (4) monitoring and evaluation to assess program effectiveness. The program succeeded in increasing young people's understanding and awareness of the importance of civic literacy and inclusive values. Participants also demonstrated better abilities in utilizing digital media for peace and inclusivity campaigns. As a result, there was an increase in youth participation in positive and collaborative community activities.

Abstract

Penggunaan perangkat digital yang tidak terkontrol pada anak-anak dapat menyebabkan perilaku kecanduan digital (digital addiction) yang berakibat pada permasalahan serius dari segi Kesehatan fisik, mental, dan psikologi. Kegiatan ini ditujukan kepada siswa yang dibatasi untuk 50 peserta. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membekali dan memberikan pemahaman mengenai dampak Digital addiction serta penggunaan perangkat digital secara sehat dan bijak untuk mengurangi tingkat Digital addiction pada anak usia sekolah dasar. Metode kegiatan ini adalah ceramah dengan pemaparan materi tentang dampak digital addiction dari segi kesehatan dan psikologi serta cara mengatasinya. Pengabdian ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap, diantaranya tahap persiapan; tahap pelaksanaan; tahap evaluasi dan pelaporan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah kegiatan ini mendapatkan respon yang positif dari piham mitra dan siswa sebaai peserta. Hasil kegiatan yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa program ini dapat meningkatkan kesadaran siswa dalam menggunakan perangkat digital secara sehat dan bijak. Implikasi penelitian yaitu pengabdian ini membantu peningkatan pemahaman terkait penggunaan perangkat digital secara bijak dan sehat. Siswa telah memahami konsep kecanduan digital secara lebih mendalam diantaranya mereka mampu mebedakan bagaimana cara yang tepat dan salah dalam penggunaan perangkat digital.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan berbagai media pembelajaran dalam mendukung pembelajaran yang efektif di kelas. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 30 peserta didik kelas X di SMP Muhammadiyah 01 Malang. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan guru dan peserta didik, serta analisis dokumen pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman, yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran yang bervariasi, seperti media sosial dan teknologi digital, dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta didik sekaligus memperkaya pengalaman belajar. Selain itu, media pembelajaran tradisional tetap berperan penting dalam mendukung pemahaman konsep secara mendalam. Pembelajaran yang efektif dapat tercapai ketika media yang digunakan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik peserta didik serta mendukung pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya pemilihan media pembelajaran yang tepat untuk menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang optimal. Dengan penerapan media pembelajaran yang relevan, kualitas proses pembelajaran dapat ditingkatkan, motivasi belajar peserta didik dapat ditumbuhkan, serta pemahaman terhadap materi yang diajarkan dapat diperkuat.

Abstract

Media sosial dewasa ini menjadi  alat komunikasi yang digunakan oleh sebagian penduduk di Indonesia untuk bertukar informasi dan menjalin komunikasi antar sesama. Berbagai aktivitas yang dilakukan di dunia maya dapat memicu perubahan sosial dalam pola masyarakat. Munculnya konten-konten yang  bersifat hoax dan ujaran kebencian (hate speech) dalam perolehan informasi di media sosial menjadi permasalahan yang tak berujung. Hoax dan ujaran kebencian menjadikan mengundang opini publik yang semakin tidak objektif, merusak persatuan dan kesatuan, serta melanggar nilai dan norma yang berlaku dalam masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, infografis berbasis wawasan kebangsaan hadir untuk mengedukasi masyarakat yang cerdas secara moral dalam penggunaan media sosial. Infografis berbasis wawasan kebangsaan mencoba menampilkan konten-konten positif yang disesuaikan dengan nilai-nilai kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia yang pluralis-multikultural. Metode Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan  yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pertama, menentukan khalayak sasaran yaitu komunitas gubuk baca lentera negeri desa sukolilo kecamatan jabung, kedua, Pemilihan dan penetapan sasaran Pelatihan pembuatan infografis yaitu para pemuda dan masyarakat anggota komunitas. Ketiga, analisis bidang permasalahan dimana mayoritas anggota komunitas belum familiar dengan  infografis, minimnya kreatifitas dan kendala dalam pembuatan infografis khususnya yang berwawasan kebangsaan. Hasil dari pengabdian yang dicapai yaitu dimana para pemuda dan komunitas gubuk baca mampu membuat desain infografis yang berbasis wawasan kebangsaan dan pentingnya dari pengabdian ini adalah dimana para pemuda dan anggota komunitas mampu ikut dalam menyebarkan berita-bertita yang positif melalui media sosial sehingga mampu mengeliminir dan menangkal berita-berita hoax atau palsu yang menyesatkan. Kata kunci : hoax, hate speech, media sosial, infografis, wawasan kebangsaan.   ABSTRACTToday's social media is a communication tool used by some residents in Indonesia to exchange information and establish communication between people. Various activities carried out in cyberspace can trigger social change in people's lives. The emergence of hoaxic content and hate speech in the acquisition of information on social media is an endless problem. these two things invite public opinion which is increasingly not objective, damages unity and integrity, and violates the values and norms prevailing in society. Therefore, national-based infographics are present to educate morally intelligent people in the use of social media. Nationality-based infographics try to display positive content that is adjusted to the values of Indonesian pluralist-multicultural life. Methods The method of implementing the activities used in this service is first, determining the target audience, namely the community of lantern reading huts in Sukolilo village, Jabung sub-district, secondly, selecting and setting targets for training on making infographics, namely youth and community members. Third, analysis of problem areas where the majority of community members are unfamiliar with infographics, lack of creativity and obstacles in making infographics especially those with a national perspective. The results of devotion achieved are where the youth and reading shack community are able to create infographic designs based on national insight and the importance of this service is where young people and community members are able to participate in spreading positive news through social media so as to eliminate and ward off Misleading hoaxes or fake news.Keywords: Hoaxes, Hate Speech, Social Media, Infographics, National Insight.

Abstract

Diversity in society, whether in terms of religion, language, ethnicity, tribe, and so on, is an unavoidable fact, especially for the Indonesian people. Therefore, this diversity must be managed and accommodated effectively to prevent it from becoming a threat that could lead to vertical or horizontal conflict. This research aims to. 1) finding out the pattern of strengthening tolerance in religious moderation villages in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, 2) finding out local actors involved in strengthening tolerance in religious moderation villages in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, and 3) finding out the implications for the resilience of Pancasila ideology in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research method. The data collection technique in this study used in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The data validity test used was data triangulation, and the triangulation of data analysis methods and techniques used was interactive data analysis. The results of the study show that the pattern of strengthening religious tolerance is carried out by the village government in collaboration with religious leaders and community leaders by organizing Pancasila birthday gadgets (June 1), regular interfaith dialogues, and involving religious leaders in various activities. Local actors involved in strengthening tolerance in religious moderation villages are village heads, hamlet heads, religious leaders, community leaders, and youth leaders. Strengthening tolerance through religious moderation in villages has implications for increasing the resilience of Pancasila ideology in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, considering that the religious level of the community is increasing, and the harmony of life between religious people increases.

Abstract

Madiredo Village is one of the villages in Pujon District, Malang Regency, East Java. Madiredo Village has a lot of potential natural products that support sales in the MSME sector. However, in its implementation there are obstacles faced by MSMEs in Madiredo Village, namely the marketing process of the products produced. Therefore, training is needed to improve the quality of sales on digital platforms. The method used is the FGD and Workshop method. The activity participants consisted of teenagers who were members of the Madiredo Village Youth Organization. The results of this activity are better E-commerce management than before, an attractive and more updated product packaging display, and a more trendy and complete online shop appearance

Abstract

Street Children are ironic evidence of the inequality of life, one of which is in the aspect of education. The existence of street children in the city of Malang continues to increase, in the last year there were 104 people. The existence of street children who do not have access to education is due to poor family economic factors, so they choose to drop out of school to work to meet their family's needs. There is a community that empowers street children in the city of Malang, namely Save Street Child this community provides educational services to street children but has not been able to develop moral character and 21st century skill competencies. This community service aims to build 21st century skills through internalization of moral values ​​and education that are integrated into the Pandawa 5 characters with a learn to shine approach. The implementation method for this community service activity was carried out on Sunday, June 11, 2024. There are 4 implementation methods used, namely 1) problem identification; 2) determination of community service objectives; 3) Preparation of operational design; 4) implementation and data collection; 5) data analysis; and 6) reporting and publication. The results of community service are able to improve the 21st century skill competency of street children in Malang city. Internalization of moral values ​​and education of street children in the 5 Pandawa figures through the learn to shine approach is able to provide religious morals, integrity, independence, nationalism, and mutual cooperation. In fact, this community service is an innovation in realizing proper educational access for street children in Malang city.
