Abstract

The background of this research is the difficulty experienced by students in understanding the material, which results in low learning outcomes, limited communication skills, and inability to solve problems collaboratively, indicating that their social skills have not yet developed optimally. In addition, the seating arrangement does not allow students to actively engage in the learning process. This research is quantitative using a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest posttest design. The research population was all fourth-grade students of SD Negeri Rejosari 02, with a sample of 23 students selected, using a non- probability sampling technique with saturated sampling. The data were collected through interviews, tests, documentation, and observation. Based on the data analysis, the average pretest score was 56.522 and the average posttest score was 89.565. The t-test hypothesis test resulted in tcount = 8.768 with df = n1 + n2 – 1 = 23 + 23 – 1 = 45, and at a 5% significance level, the ttable value was 2.014. Because tcount > ttable namely 8.768 > 2.014, ?0 was rejected. This means there was a significant difference between the pretest and pos-test average learning outcomes. The n-gain calculation was 0.749, which falls into the high category, indicates that classroom arrangement in project-based learning effectively improves students scientific understanding. In addition, students social skills such as their ability to cooperate, engage in discussions, and solve problems also developed positively. Thus, classroom arrangement in project-based learning has a positive effect on improving science understanding and social skills.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan dapat disimpulkan bahwa ekstrakurikuler Pramuka mengandung nilai-nilai karakter didalamnya dan dilaksanakan dengan baik melalui pembiasaan serta adanya keteladan. Pelaksanaan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka disusun secara struktur, administrasi yang baik dan cara membina yang baik sehingga dalam penyampaian materi kepada siswa tercapai.Karakter siswa berubah menjadi lebih baik setelah mengikuti ekstrakurikuler Pramuka. Pemberian contoh sikap merupakan satu bagian dari sistem among untuk menjadi figur yang mampu mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki anggota Pramuka Siaga dan Penggalang yaitu kelas 3, 4 serta 5. Pembiasaan dilakukan secara teratur dan berkesinambungan. Figur ketauladanan juga memberikan contoh agar nantnya siswa berperilaku sesuai nilai-nilai karakter secsra optimal. Pembiasaan dan keteladanan ini dilakukan sukarela tanpa adanya keterpaksaan yang nantinya diwujudkan sebagai bentuk peran dalam membentuk karakter pribadi menjadi baik. Contoh implementasinya adalah budaya antri ketika berwudhu, membeli jajan, budaya disiplin untuk datang tepat waktu, menghormati dan menyayangi baik muda maupun tua. Siswa selalu antusias saat ekstrakurikuler Pramuka berlangsung dan merupakan minat dalam mengembangkan potensinya

Abstract

Abstrak. Persamaan gelombang yang berupa persamaan differesial parsial akan diselesaikan secara numerik menggunakan finite diference explicit dan Neural Network. Hasil dari penyelesaian secara numerik menggunakan finite diference explicit akan dilakukan uji stabilitas. Setelah didapatkan kondisi yang stabil maka hal tersebut dinyatakan valid. Sehinhgga, dari hasil finite diference explicit yang valid dapat di bandingkan dengan metode Neural Network. Sementara itu, keberhasilan Neural Network sangat tergantung pada besarnya epochs yang terjadi pada pemograman dan hasil tersebut dapat dievaluasi dari hasil train loss dan  test loss.Kata kunci: persamaan gelombang, finite diference, Neural NetworkAbstract. The wave equation in the form of partial differential equation will be solved numerically using finite diference explicit and Neural Network. The results of the numerical solution using finite diference explicit will be tested for stability. After obtaining a stable condition, it is declared valid. Thus, the valid results of explicit finite diference can be compared with the Neural Network method. Meanwhile, the success of the Neural Network is highly dependent on the number of epochss that occur in the programming and these results can be evaluated from the results of train loss and test loss.Keywords: wave equation, finite diference, Neural Network

Abstract

This research was conducted due to the usage of learning media has not been optimized. The usage of interactive media in the learning process at SDN 2 Bringinsari is still limited, which ended in low student engagement during lessons. Furthermore, student learning outcomes from daily assessments and examinations indicate are uncertain. However, the research question explored in this study is: How effective is the use of Canva-based interactive learning media in improving the IPAS learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN 2 Bringinsari, Kendal? The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of Canva interactive learning media in improving the IPAS learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN 2 Bringinsari, Kendal. This study is a quantitative research using a pre-experimental quantitative method in the form of a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study consists of all fifth-grade students at SDN 2 Bringinsari, Kendal, totaling 23 students. Based on the research conducted, the data obtained showed that the average pretest score was 53.48, and the average posttest score was 85.43. The results of the paired sample t-test analysis for pretest and posttest scores showed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.00 < 0,05, indicating a significant difference between pretest and posttest learning outcomes. The N-Gain value obtained was 68.71%, which falls into the "moderately effective" category, thus accepting the alternative hypothesis (Ha) and rejecting the null hypothesis (Ho). The conclusion of this study is that Canva-based interactive learning media is effective in improving the IPAS learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN 2 Bringinsari, Kendal.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the numeracy skills of fourth-grade students at SDN Kalicari 02 Semarang. The background of the research is the students' difficulty in applying mathematical concepts in real life due to conventional learning methods. This research used a quantitative approach with a one group pretest-posttest design. The subject consisted of 27 students. Data were collected through tests, observation, and interviews. The results of the Paired Sample T-Test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between pretest and posttest. The average score increased from 62.96 to 89.44. In addition, 56% of students were categorized as active and 26% as very active during the learning process. These results suggest that the PBL model significantly improves students' numeracy skills and learning engagement.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high number of students who hold misconceptions about the concept of the states of matter and their changes, which has become the main focus of this study. These misconceptions are caused by limited use of instructional models, lack of interactive media, and students’ low self-confidence and reading ability. The purpose of this study is to analyze students' misconceptions in the IPAS subject related to the states of matter and their changes in Grade IV of elementary school. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, written tests, and documentation. The subjects of the study were Grade IV elementary school students. The instrument used was a Two-Tier Multiple Choice (TTMC) test. The results showed that 21% of students experienced misconceptions, 45.7% did not understand the concepts, 18.3% had alternative conceptions, and only 15% truly understood the concepts. Most misconceptions were found in the subtopics of heat absorption and release, phenomena of changes in states of matter, types of phase changes, the concept of states of matter, and the properties of matter. Students were generally able to answer correctly but provided reasoning that was not scientifically accurate. These findings indicate that the level of students' misconceptions regarding the states of matter and their changes remains relatively high.

Abstract

Kurangnya motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPAS dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya yaitu bahan ajar yang digunakan oleh guru hanya mengutamakan pengamatan visual terhadap ilustrasi yang ada di buku siswa dengan sistem penyampaian sebagian besar berbasis ceramah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan dan kepraktisan media pembelajaran interaktif pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas IV SD. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian R&D (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE. Hasil yang diperoleh berupa: media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis android  pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas IV SD. Untuk mengidentifikasi kevalidan media menggunakan instrumen validasi media dan validasi materi sedangkan untuk kepraktisan menggunakan respon guru dan respon siswa. Hasil yang didapatkan bahwa validasi media 0,84 masuk dalam kriteria sangat valid, validasi materi 0,85 masuk dalam kriteria sangat valid, respon guru 85,00% masuk dalam kriteria sangat praktis, dan respon siswa 83,00% masuk dalam kriteria sangat praktis. Maka, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif sangat valid dan praktis digunakan oleh guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran IPAS kelas IV SD.
