Abstract

The function of the foundation as a substructure that transmits the load received from the upper structure of the building into the foundation makes the foundation have an important role. The strength of the foundation is something that needs to be planned properly. This planning aims to plan the foundation for the Permata Indah Building, Nganjuk Regency, which will later be used as a boarding house building. Planning that is carried out includes selecting the type of foundation, calculation of dimensions, and foundation reinforcement. Based on soil investigation results, the foundation type pile was chosen because the hard soil was located at a depth of 17 m. The method used to calculate the bearing capacity of the pile includes the Meyerhoff, Begemann, and Trofimankove methods. With a diameter of 30 cm and 4 poles, the carrying capacity of group piles (Pg) was obtained using the Meyerhoff method of 224.60 tons, the Begemann Method of 199.59, and the Trophimankove Method of 259.36 tons. From these results, the group pile bearing capacity value is still greater than the value of ƩVu= 146.28 tonnes. Meanwhile, for a single pile settlement Se= 2.13cm <Sijin= 3 cm SAFE and a pile settlement group Sg= 3.98cm.

Abstract

In ensuring the quality of infrastructure, the role of land as support for buildings is very crucial. Road transportation infrastructure located in Sumberagung Village, Wates Subdistrict, Kediri Regency, has often experienced estimated damage due to unsuitable soil surface layer specifications. On this occasion, the authors conducted a research study on soil characteristics at the location. They carried out experiments to repair damage to the soil surface layer using a combination of additive TX - 300 media in the amount of 5%, 10%, and 15%. The method used was to test soil particles at the location and perform Index Plastic and Proctor tests to measure soil improvement efforts using TX-300 additives. The study results stated that the soil in the area had the criteria of GP (poorly graded gravel) and SP (poorly graded sand). On the USCS theory and the Montmorillonite category in the ASTM classification. The soil plastic index value was 19.37%. The dry volume weight (ɣd) of the Proctor after being converted to the importance of the contents was 3.61 gr/cm3. The Plastic Index value increased to 34.44% after the additive TX-300 combinations.  In the 10% combination, the test value (ɣd) of Proctor increased to 4.59 gr/cm3.

Abstract

The foundation is a lower structural element that serves to with stand the load of the upper structure. Pile foundation is one type of deep foundation, which is widely used in the construction of buildings. Pile foundation used in hard soil cases is located at a very deep depth. Abipraya Building is a building located in kediri regency which later functioned as a rural office. This study aims to increase the carrying capacity of pile foundation in the abipraya building project using the begemann method. Calculations carried out include the calculation of loading, carrying capacity, buckling factor and determination of foundation point.  Based on the calculations obtained the results of axial load (sigma Vertical Ultimate) Σνυ of 99.70. with a single-pole carrying capacity of 38.89 tons and a group pole carrying capacity of 117,917 tons. These results will be planned the foundation of the stake with a diameter of 30 with a depth of 8 meters, amounting to 4 poles. Calculation factor buckling results in 194.14 kg/cm2 smaller than the allowed maximum 2400 kg/cm2. Thus, with the known components of the planning of the pile foundation, it can be used as a reference in the construction of the abipraya building.

Abstract

Roads as a means of transportation have an essential role in supporting human activities. One of the developments in road construction is the application of geotextiles in road combination pavements. Geotextile itself is often found in construction planning, especially in soil stabilization. The plandaan – boro Tulungagung road section is indicated by the type of silt as deep as 1.2 meters so that improvements are needed to support the quality of road construction. The purpose of this research is to plan road pavement with geotextiles on the Plandaan to boro roads. The geotextile used is a woven geogrid geotextile. The method used in planning is the Bina marga method of the 2017 Road Pavement Design Manual. The data used include technical data, traffic data, and California Bearing Ratio (CBR). The planning includes traffic design, pavement thickness calculations, and volume calculations. The planning results will be HMA – WC pavement covering an area of 4,200 m, with K225 concrete pavement covering an area of 8,400 m. Class Bﬞ Aggregate Pavement covering an area of 10,500 m using a geotextile layer requires 51,000 m² so that these results can be used as a reference in the repair or improvement of the Plandaan - boro Tulungagung road.

Abstract

The road is an access that connects an area with other areas. With the road, mobility will be easier so that it has an impact on increasing or stabilizing the economy. The Sumberboto-Gunung Gede Blitar road section is one of the access roads to Tambakrejo beach tourism. To improve comfort and safety for road users, it is necessary to improve road quality. This study aims to plan the pavement on the Sumberboto-Gunung Gede Blitar road section. The planning is carried out on the condition of the heavily damaged pavement, with a service life of more than 10 years, the width of the road is 4 meters, the length of the road is 6 kilometers, the type of collector road is class II, and the type of pavement is laston. The planning carried out includes the addition of roads in the hills of Blitar Regency, the data used includes the condition of the sections on the road with calculations referring to the Design Manual Number 02/M/BM/2013 road pavement. The planning results obtained road construction with flexible pavement, with a specification of a surface layer of 10 cm, a layer of 20 cm for the top foundation, 25 cm for the bottom layer of the foundation. From this plan, a total budget of Rp. 13,572,808,084.00 (thirteen billion five hundred seventy-two million eight hundred thousand rupiah) is required. With these results, it can be used as a reference in realizing road construction on the Sumberboto-Gunung Gede Blitar road section.

Abstract

Soil conditions have an important influence on foundation planning in shophouse construction. Sandy soil with a high groundwater table is a problem because it has a low bearing capacity and is difficult for foundation casting. The aim of the research is to plan a proper foundation. This research by taking samples for testing compaction and shear strength. The test results are used to analyze the existing foundation planning. If the bearing capacity value does not meet the load assumption of 100 t/m2, then a re-planning is carried out with a minipile well foundation. The results of the research show that the existing foundation is a palm type foundation and the bearing capacity value is not fulfilled. So that the modification of the well foundation in the form of a minipile was carried out and the soil carrying capacity was obtained at 36.61 t/m2. To be able to withstand the load of the structure, it is necessary to plan the use of 3 minipiles, so that a value of 109.82 t/m2 is obtained which indicates the foundation is suitable for use. The results of this study can be used as a reference for planning foundations with sandy soil conditions with a high water table.

Abstract

Hammer test merupakan bagian dari pengecekan kelayakan dari sebuah bangunan struktur gedung , jembatan , ataupun bangunan struktur yang berhubungan dengan beton. Pada salah satu bangunan existing Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Kediri yang akan dilakukan renovasi dan penambahan lantai terdapat retakan – retakan yang terlihat seperti pada kolom, pelat atap dan tembok. Adanya keretakan tersebut dapat mempengaruhi pengambilan tindakan terkait renovasi bangunan tersebut, apakah harus membongkar total banguna tersebut atau hanya melakukan penambalan pada bagian struktur yang mengalami keretakan. Dari data-data yang diambil dari lapangan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengecekan kelayakan banguan sekolah menengah atas negeri 1 kota kediri diambil dari kekuatan pelat atap dan balok penyangga pelat dengan menggunakan hammer test, maka didapatlah nilai dari perhitungan, Fc’ rencana pelat senilai 20,75 Mpa atau 250 Kg/cm² dan untuk Fc’ rencana balok senilai Mpa atau 250 Kg/cm² sedangkan hasil yang diperoleh dari lapangan untuk perhitungan pelat senilai 280,23 Kg/cm² yang berarti lebih besar dari nilai rencana, dan untuk perhitungan balok hanya mencapai 234,37 Kg/cm² yang berarti di bawah nilai yang di rencanakan yaitu 250 Kg/cm²

Abstract

Ngasem District, Kediri Regency is an area that is close to educational centers, shopping centers, and tourism areas, so it is suitable to build housing in the area. However, there were several residents' houses that were damaged, such as cracked floors and walls. One of the contributing factors is the condition of the soil. This study aims to conduct a soil investigation to determine the characteristics of the soil in the area by using laboratory tests including sieving gradation tests, atterberg limits, compaction and soil shear strength and the results show that the soil in the area is classified as SW-SC soil, namely well graded sand with a little clay mixture so it has low plasticity. In addition, the maximum dry unit weight was 1.76 gr/cm3, the optimum moisture content was 15.38% from the compaction test and the cohesion value was 0.894 kPa and the shear angle was 29.685° from the shear strength test. The results of this study can be useful in providing an overview of soil characteristics as a reference in construction projects.Keywords: soil characteristics, SW-SC soil, atterberg boundaries, Ngasem District

Abstract

Jumlah penduduk dan pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Tulungagung lambat laun semakin meningkat, yang berdampak pada peningkatan serta berkembangnya pembangunan. Dalam mendirikan sebuah bangunan, hal yang pertama kali harus dilakukan adalah penyelidikan tanah. Penyelidikan tanah penting dilakukan untuk mengetahui karakteristik tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik tanah dari daerah Bendiljati, Kecamatan Sumbergempol Kabupaten Tulungagung. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental dengan mengambil sampel tanah dari daerah Bendiljati Kecamatan Sumbergempol Kabupaten Tulungagung. Jenis tanah diklasifikasikan menggunakan AASHTO dan USCS. Juga dilakukan pengujian liquid limit, plastic limit, pemadatan, dan kuat geser tanah. Hasil penelitian didapatkan klasifikasi tanah menurut USCS, tanah termasuk jenis SP-SM dengan gradasi buruk, dan pada klasifikasi AASHTO, tanah termasuk A-2-4 yang mempunyai rating Excellent to Good. Dari uji batas Atterberg didapatkan nilai indeks plastisitas sebesar 0,564% sehingga tanah termasuk kategori slightly plastic. Pada uji pemadatan didapatkan nilai berat volume kering maksimum sebesar 1,50 gr/cm pada kadar air optimum 26,04% yang dapat digunakan untuk rekomendasi pemadatan jenis tanah SP-SM. Dan di uji kuat geser diperoleh nilai sudut geser sebesar 24,837° dengan nilai kohesi sebesar 0,459 kPa, dari nilai tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai dasar dalam perencanaan pondasi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai referensi untuk proyek konstruksi di sekitar area kabupaten Tulungagung.

Abstract

Pembangunan gedung Universitas Kadiri terus berkembang pesat. Kolom beton bertulang merupakan pilihan yang paling umum digunakan dalam pembangunan gedung-gedung tinggi. Namun, pekerjaan kolom membutuhkan tenaga kerja yang cukup banyak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh penambahan tenaga kerja terhadap produktivitas dan efisiensi pekerjaan kolom. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Data waktu kerja yang dibutuhkan untuk menyelesaikan setiap aktivitas kerja kolom diperoleh dari observasi menggunakan alat stopwatch. Data tersebut kemudian digunakan untuk menghitung waktu normal, allowance, waktu standar, output standar, produktivitas, dan efisiensi. Penambahan tenaga kerja dari 6 menjadi 7 dapat meningkatkan produktivitas sebesar 3,29% dan efisiensi sebesar 6,54%. Peningkatan produktivitas relatif kecil dibandingkan dengan peningkatan efisiensinya. Temuan ini memberikan bukti empiris bahwa penambahan tenaga kerja dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pekerjaan kolom.
