Abstract

Nanas (Ananas comosus (L.) adalah komoditas utama di Provinsi Riau, dan limbah dari kulit nanas mencapai jumlah sebesar 612 ton per tahun. Limbah ini memiliki potensi besar sebagai biomassa, terutama dalam pengembangan biobaterai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh penambahan lapisan perak (Ag) pada tembaga (Cu) dan magnesium (Mg) pada seng (Zn) terhadap laju korosi, tegangan, arus, daya dan intensitas caha dari biobaterai limbah kulit nanas. Pengukuran laju korosi dilakukan dengan memantau perubahan massa elektroda Cu dan Zn sebelum dan sesudah penggunakan selama 720 jam. Proses penelitian meliputi pembuatan dan pengujian biobaterai dari kulit nanas, pembuatan elektrolit, pembuatan prototipe biobaterai, serta uji karakteristik listrik dan laju korosi elektroda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perendaman Cu dengan Ag berhasil mengurangi laju korosi Cu sebesar 71,47%, sedangkan penambahan Mg pada Zn sebagai anoda tumbal mengurangi laju korosi Zn sebesar 81,30%. Pengujian karakteristik listrik pada biobaterai menunjukkan bahwa elektroda Cu(Ag)-Zn(Mg) menghasilkan tegangan, arus, daya, dan intensitas yang besar. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penambahan Ag dan Mg memproduksi tenaga listrik yang lebih tinggi dan mengurangi tingkat korosi dibandingkan dengan elektroda yang tidak dilapisi Ag atau yang tidak menggunakan Mg. Penelitian ini berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pengembangan biobaterai yang lebih awet dan ramah lingkungan dengan memanfaatkan limbah kulit nanas dan perendaman elektroda.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the role-playing method in improving students’ activeness and learning quality at Islamic elementary school. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects of the study were fifth-grade students totaling 22 students and the classroom teacher, while the object of the study was the application of the role-playing method in the learning process. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the role-playing method is effective in increasing students’ activeness in learning. Students become more enthusiastic, confident to perform in front of the class, actively participate in discussions, and understand the learning material more easily. The role-playing method also creates an enjoyable learning atmosphere, increases learning motivation, and develops students’ communication and collaboration skills. Moreover, experience-based learning through role-playing helps students relate the learning material to real-life situations, making learning more meaningful. Therefore, the role-playing method can be used as an effective alternative learning method to improve the quality of learning in Islamic elementary schools. Abstract

Introduction & Aim: Many adolescents have a habit of consuming junk food due to its taste and convenience. Excessive consumption can lead to various health problems such as obesity, digestive disorders, and an increased risk of chronic diseases. This community service aimed to improve adolescents’ knowledge and awareness of the impacts of junk food consumption through a health literacy approach. Method of Activity: This activity was conducted in the Tenggumung Wetan area of Surabaya, involving 21 adolescents aged 14–20 years. The activity began with a baseline survey and was followed by health education using an interactive approach. Participants completed a knowledge questionnaire regarding junk food consumption before the educational session. The educational intervention was delivered through the screening of educational videos and the use of the GIVIC board game as an interactive learning tool. Results: An increase in adolescents’ knowledge following the health education session. Knowledge levels rose from 42.85% before the activity to 57% afterward. Respondent characteristics were dominated by adolescents aged 17–18 years (42.82%), females (61.90%), and high school graduates (66.67%). Discussion: Health literacy-based health education using interactive learning media, such as educational videos and board games, can improve adolescents’ knowledge of the dangers of consuming junk food. These methods can increase participants’ active engagement, reinforce understanding, and help adolescents retain the health information provided.

Abstract

This study examines the challenges of technology integration in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning at a pesantren-based vocational school, focusing on novice IRE teachers at SMK Sulthon Fattah. Technology integration is an essential demand of 21st-century education, including religious education. However, its implementation in pesantren-based schools presents unique characteristics and constraints. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation involving novice IRE teachers, the school principal, ICT teachers, and students. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings indicate that the low level of technology integration in IRE learning is not caused by limited facilities, but rather by insufficient pedagogical digital literacy among novice teachers, school policies restricting students’ smartphone use, the absence of structured professional mentoring programs, and weak collaboration between ICT teachers and IRE teachers. The study emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach that integrates school policies, teacher competency development, and a collaborative school culture to promote effective technology integration in Islamic Religious Education within pesantren-based schools.

Abstract

The research entitled Integrity of Village Leadership, Efforts to Prevent Corruption in Village Funds in Bireuen Regency, the researchers aimed to obtain information on the influence of the integrity of the leadership figure of the village head in Bireuen Regency to commit to not commit acts of corruption in managing village funds sourced from the APBN, and carried out by the leadership of the village head to prevent corruption in village funds that could harm state money. So far, there have been many cases of village leadership having integrity crises in managing state money, there are several village heads in Bireuen who have been ensnared in legal cases regarding the corruption of village funds. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative method in the form of a participant observation approach, where the researcher himself became the main instrument in collecting data in the field. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The results showed that cases of corruption in village funds in Bireuen occurred, not because of a lack of supervision and law enforcement against village heads. Another factor that causes corruption in village funds is that they do not have strong personal integrity in village leadership. The integrity is in the form of honesty, keeping promises, loyalty, responsibility and fairness. There are two approaches to preventing village fund corruption in Bireuen, namely the psychological approach and local wisdom.
