Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui analisis Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) pada material serat serbuk tangkai jagung dengan matrik plastik polipropilen serta penggambaran  struktur mikro dan karakteristik dari komposit biodegradable. Pencemaran lingkungan merupakan suatu permasalahan yang harus ditanggapi secara serius oleh seluruh lapisan masyarakat, khususnya pencemaran yang diakibatkan oleh pembebanan sampah plastik. Jumlah sampah plastik yang dihasilkan rata-rata sekitar 10% dari total volume sampah, dimana kurang dari 1% plastik dapat dihancurkan karena sampah plastik berbahan dasar polimer sintetik dan sulit diuraikan oleh bakteri pengurai. Guna mengatasi masalah lingkungan ini, salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan yaitu mengembangkan bahan biodegradable plastik (bioplastik) yaitu plastik yang mudah diurai oleh mikroorganisme menjadi senyawa sederhana yang ramah lingkungan. Pada metode pengujian yang dilakukan pada komposit ini ialah SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) dan foto mikro, Objek yang difoto penampang melintang serat pada spesimen, Untuk komposit yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan matrik plastik polipropilen dengan serat serbuk tangkai jagung dengan variasi komposisi sebesar 95% plastik polipropilen, 5% serbuk tangkai jagung, komposisi sebesar 90% plastik polipropilen, 10% serbuk tangkai jagung dan komposisi sebesar 85% plastik polipropilen, 15% serbuk tangkai jagung. Hasil pengujian SEM menunjukan variasi 85:15% lebih merekat antara plastik dan polipropilen dapat memberi dampak yang lebih signifikan terhadap sifat mekanik komposit, hal ini dapat dibuktikan dengan foto hasil Scanning Electron Microscopy dimana permukaan serat terlihat lebih baik.

Abstract

At the vocational school level, pneumatic basic competency is one of the basic competencies in the Electronic Control Systems subject. This basic competency is fundamental and must be mastered by class XI SMK students in the Industrial Electronics Engineering Skills Competency. This research aims to produce basic pneumatic interactive learning media in the form of an interactive CD that is suitable for the Electronic Control Systems subject for class XI students at SMKN 1 Jetis Mojokerto. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) research to produce a learning product that suits your needs. The research steps refer to the Borg and Gall  model to produce systematic and structured research. Meanwhile, the steps for developing interactive learning media using Adobe Flash in electronic control system subjects, pneumatic basics material refers to the ADDIE model to produce quality learning media that suits learning needs. Interactive Learning Media Using Adobe Flash in the Subject of Electronic Control Systems, this pneumatic material was validated by design experts, media experts, material experts, colleagues and students. The design expert validation results obtained a percentage of 88.18% in the very valid category, media expert validation obtained a percentage of 85.71% in the very valid category, material expert validation obtained a percentage of 89.23% in the very valid category, peer assessment obtained the percentage was 92.5% with a very valid category, small group product trials involving 5 students were 90%, medium group trials of 9 students were 90.22%, large group trials by 36 students got a percentage of 91.00 %, while for field trials involving 70 students with a percentage of 91.04%. So this media is said to be very valid and feasible and can be used as an alternative media in learning. This study contributes to improving vocational education by developing interactive learning media for pneumatic basics, which enhances student engagement and competency in electronic control systems.

Abstract

Learning Media is a learning tool used by someone using tools created to make it easier to deliver material when teaching at school. Based on observations made by the teacher, the findings were: (a) there were 12 students out of a total of 29 who had not yet reached the KKM; Students' interest in learning is lacking, students look less enthusiastic when the teacher explains the material presented. Based on the description above, the author wishes to examine this problem, through research with the title "Use of Interactive Learning Media to Improve Student Learning Outcomes in Pneumatic Materials in Electronic Control Systems Subjects in Class XII 1 TEI SMKN 1 Jetis". This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). The learning media used is Adobe Flash software. This research was conducted in three cycles, the subjects of this research were 29 class XII TEI 1 students. Data collection techniques are through observation sheets, questionnaires and formative tests. Analysis of the interest in learning questionnaire shows that the average student interest in learning has increased from 2.5 with the criterion of less interest to 3.2 with the criterion of interest while the average score obtained at Student learning outcomes increased in cycle I by 71.38, cycle II by 75.86 and cycle III by 83.10. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of interactive learning media has a positive impact in increasing students' interest in learning and can improve the learning outcomes of class XII TEI 1 SMK Negeri 1 Jetis students.
