Abstract

Background: Deep burn wound with exposed underlying structures such as muscle or moreover in this case, bone, may increase morbidity in the terms of infection. Therefore careful planning of reconstruction is needed. Patient and Method: We report one case of neglected burn wound with exposed tibia and muscle contracture on bilateral knee joint that was reconstructed in our Plastic Surgery Division of Prof RD Kandou Hospital. Data was taken from medical and surgery record. Result: We managed the muscle contracture of the left knee joint by sedated gradual stretching and splinting. We also utilized hyperbaric treatment in order to maximize granulation process. A medial gastrocnemius muscle flap followed by split thickness skin graft is used to reconstruct the missing tissue at upper tibia, and another split thickness skin graft to cover another wound at opposite upper leg. The result was satisfying without any complication. Conclusion: In managing a neglected burn wound with bone exposed and muscle contracture, it is compulsory to have a careful reconstruction planning. Our objectives are to release the muscle contracture and to provide an adequate coverage to the bone-exposed wound by using many modalities we have.

Abstract

Pada saat ini las busur listrik elektroda terbungkus atau Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) banyak digunakan secara luas dalam penyambungan batang–batang pada konstruksi bangunan baja dan konstruksi mesin. Pengaruh panas dari besar arus pengelasan  dan kecepatan pengelasan menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan sifat mekanik dan fisis pada hasil lasan material yang dilas. Konsep yang digunakan untuk melakukan penelitian ini adalah dengan metode penelitian murni dan Proses pengelasan yang digunakan adalah.variasi besar arus 70A, 80A, 90A dan 100A sedangkan variasi kecepatan pengelasan yaitu 90 mm/menit, 120 mm/menit dan 150 mm/menit. Hasil yang dicapai dari pengujian tarik diperoleh nilai kekuatan tarik terbesar adalah pada perlakuan besar arus pengelasan 100A dengan kecepatan pengelasan 150 mm/menit dengan nilai rata–rata 354 MPa, sedangkan nilai kekuatan tarik terkecil pada besar arus pengelasan 80 A dengan kecepatan pengelasan 90 mm/menit dengan nilai rata–rata 315 MPa dan Pada pengamatan struktur mikro untuk daerah las (Weld Metal) didominasi unsur ferit dibanding perlit, sehingga sifat mekanik semakin tangguh tetapi kekuatan tariknya menurun

Abstract

Plalangan Village in Kalisat District is one of the agricultural villages with food crop centers targeted by The Jember Regency Government to become a tourism pilot area. Plalangan Village has natural resource potential that can be used as a tourism product, including expanses of agricultural land for food crops with semi-organic and intercropping cultivation systems, fisheries nurseries and cultivation, and a beautiful mountainous natural environment. Even though the tourism potential is very large, it has not been developed optimally by the community. So far, Pokdarwis Selayang Pandang still has a minimal role in developing tourism in Plalangan Village. This is because the human resource capacity is still low in managing tourist villages. Another problem is that there have been no promotional activities for tourist villages. The aim of this community service activity is to increase Pokdarwis' awareness of tourism potential and increase their ability to promote tourism villages. From this activities, it is hoped that there will be an increase in tourism awareness and motivation, an increase in the ability of human resources in managing village tourism potential, and the existence of promotional media for tourism villages. Abstract

COVID-19 has changed many patterns of human life in various parts of the world, including social restrictions that have implications for the closure of schools and sports facilities. This study aims to identify physical activity and screen time among adolescents in Surabaya during the COVID-19 pandemic. A quantitative descriptive design using a survey method was used in this study. The research sample consisted of 246 teenagers in the city of Surabaya using a purposive random sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out using an online questionnaire. This study revealed decreased physical activity and increased screen time, which is dominated by young women in Surabaya during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is needed the role of various parties from the government, health agencies, and parents to promote and help children to stay active and balance physical activity as well as the use of daily screen time in maintaining fitness, increasing body immunity and work productivity, preventing obesity and cardiovascular disease during COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui trend senam lantai final senam putri (8 pesenam) di Sea Games 2022 melalui materi video digital. Rekaman video final lantai dikumpulkan melalui youtube Entertainment-Mediacorp . Hasil final lantai telah dicek oleh ke tiga juri. Pada 8 pesenam yang mengikuti final lantai, untuk   memenuhi D-score gerakan yang banyak dilakukan   adalah kelompok gerakan pada grup satu sebanyak   33 gerakan, dengan dominasi gerakan gymnastic leaps, jumps dan hops, serta turn. Pada   double salto tuck di udara dilakukan oleh pesenam sebanyak 7 pesenam, Salto fwd stretched with 1/1 twist (360 °) sebanyak 7 pesenam, Leap fwd with leg change sebanyak 7 pesenam, Switch leap with ½ turn (180 °) in flight phase sebanyak 6 pesenam. Hasil ini memberikan informasi dimana muncul kecenderungan nilai skor D yang dimiliki oleh para atlet jaraknya lebih besar daripada skor E.

Abstract

Background: The transition from online to face-to-face learning after the COVID-19 pandemic has presented new challenges, particularly in implementing authentic assessment. This research aims to explore how authentic assessment is conducted post-pandemic, the obstacles teachers encounter, and strategies employed to overcome these challenges. Method: This study utilized a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews and documentation analysis from sixth-grade teachers and the principal of SD Negeri 2 Jatisawit, Jatiyoso District. Data validity was ensured using source and methodological triangulation, while analysis was performed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. Result: Authentic assessment implementation post-pandemic involved clearly defined standards aligned with lesson plans (RPP), diversified assessment tasks (portfolio, projects, performance, written assessments), and systematically developed criteria and rubrics. Obstacles identified included disparities in student abilities, limited assessment time, inadequate infrastructure, and limited technological skills among teachers and students. Teachers addressed these by implementing differentiated instruction, utilizing median standards, providing enrichment and remediation, enhancing assignment creativity, and improving their technological competence. Implication: The findings suggest practical approaches for teachers and school administrators to effectively implement authentic assessment, addressing the diverse needs of students and limitations of available resources in post-pandemic situations. Novelty: This study provides specific strategies for differentiated authentic assessment, uniquely adapted to address challenges resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic in an elementary education setting

Abstract

Employee performance is very important in a company to achieve its goals. If the performance of employees is less than the maximum in the company it will affect several success factors that support employee performance. Some factors that support the success of employee performance are a work environment that is increasingly uncomfortable, job satisfaction within the company is not good, and also the employee's morale decreases when doing a job. This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment, job satisfaction, and work morale on employee performance at the Meritjan Kediri Sugar Factory. The sampling method uses simple random sampling, and the sampling technique is based on the table determining the number of ISSAC and Michael samples from a population of 135 employees in 2019, with an error rate of 10% obtained as many as 92 employees at the Meritjan Kediri Sugar Factory. The data collected were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis assisted with SPSS 16. The results of multiple regression analysis showed the equation Y = 4.682 + 0.177X1 + 0.404X2 + 0.147X3 which means that the work environment variables significantly influence employee performance with a regression coefficient of 0.177, job satisfaction has an effect significant to employee performance with a regression coefficient of 0.404. While the variable morale has a significant effect on employee performance with a regression coefficient of 0.147. Meanwhile, the results of the analysis conducted showed that the work environment (), job satisfaction () and morale () had significant and significant effects on employee performance (Y), and had a Determination Coefficient or R Square of 0.373 or 37.3%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is as the main study material. on the achievements of the Men's Basketball National Team in winning a gold medal at the 2022 Sea Games. The study in this research is the keys to success in the Men's Basketball National Team as seen from nursery, coaching and organizational management at Perbasi. So it is hoped that the results of this research can be used as one of the study materials to develop basketball in Indonesia. This research was conducted at the 2022 sea games multi-event event which took place on May 16-22 2022. The data source used is secondary data from the statistical results of the 2022 sea games basketball competition on the website https://www.sofascore.com/ id/philippines-indonesia/Zgxsbhx, secondary data used for field goal match analysis, 2 points made, 3 point field goals, free throws, total rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, turn overs, and points from turn overs. the results of the analysis regarding the statistical analysis of the final sea games basketball match which has been discussed in the discussion, the conclusion in this study states that. There are 3 winning factors, namely field goals, turnover and assists.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to qualitatively analyze the decline in the performance of the Indonesian tennis team at the 2022 Sea Games. This research is an evaluation study with a qualitative approach. A total of 5 people were used as subjects in this study consisting of 3 male athletes, 1 female athlete and 1 coach who had departed as the 2022 Sea Games team for tennis. Data collection uses interview techniques which are conducted online through the zoom meeting application. Data analysis used thematic analysis through the stages of data reduction, organization and interpretation assisted by atlas.ti 9 software. The results of the study showed that the coaching factor and infrastructure were good. The composition of Indonesian players is not optimal and the opponents are playing optimally at the 2022 Sea Games as well as the pandemic factor which has caused a decline in tennis performance at the 2022 Sea Games. The conclusion is that the reason for the decline in Indonesia's tennis achievements at the 2022 Sea Games is not due to the poor coaching process and infrastructure, but due to the different composition of the players and the impact of the covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study examines community participation in village development planning in Nusa Maju Village, Belitang III District, South Sumatra. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research explores the extent of participation across four stages: planning, implementation, evaluation, and utilization. It also identifies key factors influencing engagement, such as socio-economic conditions, government policies, and cultural norms. The findings reveal high levels of participation during the planning and implementation stages, but limited involvement in evaluation and monitoring. The study emphasizes the importance of government transparency, inclusive decision-making, and community empowerment in fostering greater participation. It contributes to the broader understanding of participatory development and offers recommendations for enhancing community engagement in future village development initiatives.
